The singer’s loyal fanbase called the “Swifties’ has shown plenty of love to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and she has attended several games to cheer him on.

But as their union continues to blossom in front of the entire world, some fans believe their partnership may be thrown into jeopardy due to Kelce’s actions in a clip from 2018. The video recently resurfaced on social media, which shows the eight-time All-Pro player pulling down his pants in response to trash talk from rival fans.

The Chiefs were up against the then Oakland Raiders and Kelce was on the sideline ready to enter the game when the opposing fans heckled him. The timing of the clip returning to social media is no coincidence as the Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day.

“I will be in Philadelphia for Christmas, spending time with my grandkids as we cheer on their dad,” she said. “I understand that it’s part of the job (holiday games). I embrace the holiday games and enjoy the special days with our football family.”

‘I needed to say something because at the end of the day … I was keeping the peace for everybody else, but what about the peace within me?

Ella Piazza made a sign before the Bills-Chiefs game on Sunday and said she was “thinking positive” before the game that she would meet the superstar.

 

In her wildest dreams, Ella Piazza believed she would meet Taylor Swift.

The 8-year-old Penfield, New York girl — who went viral after a shirtless Jason Kelce helped her wave at the superstar during Sunday’s Bills-Chiefs playoff game — said that she manifested the moment the week before it happened.

“I was thinking positive, but some of my friends weren’t that positive,” Piazza said on the Today show Tuesday.

Yet the opportunity almost didn’t happen.

Ella and her mom, Jessica Piazza, were sitting on the opposite side of Highmark Stadium from where Swift, Kelce family members and their friends were watching the game. But Jessica’s friend — who was sitting in the section under the suite — suggested they switch spots at halftime, the mother said on Today.

With a handmade sign that read “Buffalo Bills + Taylor Swift – Best First Game Ever” in tow, the mother and daughter changed their seats.

“It was halftime and a lot of people had left their seats to go to the bathroom or get a drink or whatever, and so we just tried climbing up higher and higher,” Jessica recalled. “It was really Ella who was forging the path. When people saw her sign, everyone started helping her. It was really cute.”

That’s when the shirtless Philadelphia Eagles center decided to hop into the stands and spotted the third-grader.

“Then [he] came over here and then he picked me up and then I saw Taylor,” Ella said. “It was, like, amazing.”

The NFL star, 36, held her her so that the “Anti-Hero” singer, seated in the suite, could read her sign.

Ella, who was clad in Bills colors, waved to Swift, and then she and the Eagles star posed for a picture.

“He was so kind to her,” Jessica said about Kelce, who shares three girls with his wife Kylie. “I was just so thankful that he gave her the chance to see Taylor because she was — she was standing up there at the top of the bleachers with her sign just waiting and hoping and so brave — she climbed all the way to the top.”

After the experience, the longtime Bills fan described her daughter as being in “absolute heaven” and “the happiest I’ve ever seen her.”

The Ravens host Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in the AFC Championship as they face off for a place in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.

The songstress has cheered on her NFL beau and the reigning Super Bowl champions at several of their games this season, including last week’s win against the Buffalo Bills in frigid Orchard Park.

And the citizens of Baltimore are clearly hoping the 12-time Grammy Award winner will make the trip to M&T Bank Stadium Sunday.

Brightview White Marsh, a senior assisted living facility in the Baltimore area, shared a TikTok Wednesday of its elderly residents welcoming Swift to the city and sharing their recommendations with her.

The heartwarming clip opens with her hit ‘…Are You Ready for it?’ playing in the background, while an elderly gentleman declares, ‘Taylor Swift, welcome to our great city of Baltimore! There is much for you to see and do and while you’re here we hope you enjoy yourself immensely.’

 

 

 

However, while he encourages the singer to have an entertaining time, the man, dressed smartly in a Ravens cap and polo shirt, hopes her boyfriend and his teammates’ visit to Baltimore isn’t so fun.

‘We have one more thing to say to you, go Ravens,’ he jokingly adds.

Other residents then chime in with their recommendations for tourist attractions, including a trip to the aquarium and a stroll around Inner Harbor.

Meanwhile, others, one of whom wore a Swiftie friendship bracelet, encourage the global superstar to sample to local cuisine, urging her to try the crab cakes at Jimmy Seafood, to grab a Berger cookie and, if she arrives in time before the game, to visit Miss Shirley’s for breakfast.

One lady insists the Anti-Hero hitmaker must make a swift return to the city with Baltimore offering more than football in its sporting scene.

She insists Swift must make another trip to Baltimore to watch the city’s MLB team, the Orioles, play and Camden Yards with the 2024 season just over two months away.

The video ends with a staff member insisting that Swift ‘must visit Brightview White Marsh,’ before the camera panned across the living room area to show its many residents cheering and waving Baltimore-purple pompoms.

However, it’s not yet clear if the Love Story singer will be making the trip down to Baltimore for the Chiefs sixth-straight AFC Championship game.

Although she has attended most of the Chiefs games in the run off to the playoffs and their two postseason matchups so far, her Eras Tour is set to restart in just a couple of weeks.

Swift hits the road again to begin the international leg of her sold-out show, starting with four dates in Tokyo, Japan.

She kickstarts the stint in the Japanese capital on February 7, playing four shows and finishing the day before the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

If the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl on February 11 she might have to make a mad dash from Tokyo, where she will have just played her first shows on 2024, to the west coast to cheer Kelce on.

She will then play shows in Australia, Singapore and in the summer, will spend four months touring Europe.

And according to reports last week, Kelce has made some grand plans for Europe – with much of swift’s tour coinciding with his football offseason.

The 34-year-old has apparently booked trips to vineyards in Italy and tables for dinners at some of Europe’s finest restaurants for the couple to enjoy during her days off.

The latest that Kelce’s season will run to is February 11 with the Super Bowl, with teams then tending to report back for preseason in early August. However, it was reported earlier this week that the tight end could join his brother Jason and retire at the end of this season.

It’s a secret so hot it could have melted the Buffalo snow, and it was sealed with a kiss on New Year’s Eve.

At another – after one of the two touchdowns scored in what was the game of his life – he turned to where Swift whooped with joy, formed a love-heart with his hands and sent it straight to her.

It was a public declaration, clear as day that while his head was in the game, his heart was with Swift all the way.

For her part, with an ever-expanding wardrobe of hats, shirts and jackets bearing her boyfriend’s name and number 87, Swift has taken to quite literally wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Sunday was no different as she donned her red hat and cream jacket to cheer the Chiefs on alongside supermodel and actress pal Cara Delevingne, new bestie Brittany Mahomes, 28, and her putative sister-in-law Kylie Kelce, 31, whom she was meeting for the first time along with Kelce’s brother Jason.

Never backwards in coming forwards Jason, 36, stripped off to his waist, pounded Budweisers and roared into the night and the crowd as his little brother and team romped to a 27-24 win in a fiercely fought battle to remain in the running for the Super Bowl.

But while Travis has met Swift’s father and she in turn has now met and spent time with all the Kelce clan – mother Donna, father Ed and brother and sister-in-law Jason and Kylie – both Swift and Kelce know that now is not the time to be making any announcements.

In recent weeks there has been a flurry of flip-flopping headlines – they’re engaged, they’re not engaged, he’s shopping for a ring, they may not go the distance.

On January 11, Page Six reported that the couple plans to get engaged this summer.

On January 12 The Daily Mirror reported that there were ‘no plans’ for an engagement.

And on January 15, TMZ reported insiders questioning whether the relationship would even ‘go the distance.’

Day after day the rumor mill churns. And throughout it all Kelce and Swift have remained serenely and graciously silent.

Because the truth is they know exactly where they’re at in their relationship and the promise that they have made to one another.

But for now, Kelce’s focus must remain on the game, with the Chiefs facing the Baltimore Ravens next week and just one victory away from a spot in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

And for Swift, the consummate professional, it’s time to gear up for the next leg of her blockbuster Eras tour in Japan next month.

But however mindful the loved-up couple must be of each other’s careers, their commitment to each other is not in doubt, a fact on which they doubled down as 2023 gave way to 2024.
