At one point during the game, the “Lavender Haze” singer, 34, was seen fainting over Kelce’s dominant performance on the field, which included 11 catches for 116 yards.

She was also caught screaming and cheering enthusiastically when the tight end, also 34, scored the first touchdown of the game.

In December 2023, she hit back at criticism regarding her heavy presence during NFL telecasts.

“I’m just here to support Travis,” she told Time magazine. “I don’t know if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.”

She added: “When you say a relationship is public, that means I get to see him do what he likes, we show up for each other, other people are there and we don’t we don’t care. … We’re just proud of each other.

Will Taylor Swift Go to the Super Bowl? Here’s why she may or may not attend

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 on Sunday, securing their spot at Super Bowl LVIII. After the game, Taylor Swift went onto the field to lay a big ol’ smooch on boyfriend/tight end Travis Kelce.

After the tender embrace, Kelce shouted the chorus to the Beastie Boys’ “Fight for Your Right,” as is his wont.

So Travis Kelce is going to the Super Bowl. Again. The question now becomes: is Taylor? Swift is chugging through the international leg of her Era Tour, and she has a show in Tokyo the night before Super Bowl.

But what’s one hemisphere-stradding PJ flight, in the face of true love? NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport says Swift is flying from Tokyo to Las Vegas in order to support her man.

What’s more, she’d be getting there before she left. “Let me introduce you to something called the International Date Line,” Rapoport said. “Tokyo is 17 hours ahead.”

If Swift leaves Tokyo at midnight Sunday morning, she could be in Vegas by 7 p.m. Saturday night.

In the meantime, American Airlines is offering flights 1989 and 87 for fans to fly from KC to LV and back.

Travis Kelce is headed back to the Super Bowl with the support of his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

    Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce

After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to advance to the 2024 Super Bowl, Swift, 34, went down onto the field with Donna and Ed at M&T Bank Stadium as they congratulated Travis, 34, on his return to the NFL’s biggest night.

Ed, sporting his son’s Chiefs jersey, stood by as Swift and Travis shared a celebratory kiss on the field before the trophy ceremony began. Swift was later seen with her arm around Ed as she pointed to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who was on stage receiving their AFC Championship trophy.

The tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, also took the field to celebrate with his parents and Swift. The two brothers embraced on the field, and Jason told an emotional Travis to “finish this motherf—er” as he and the Chiefs head to the Super Bowl.

During Travis’ speech after the game, the tight end quoted the Beastie Boys’ lyrics “You’ve got to fight/ for your right/ to party” — the same lyric he repeated last year when they won the 2023 Super Bowl — as he addressed Chiefs friends and family.

Swift was seen laughing as her beau got Chiefs Kingdom hyped for another Super Bowl appearance.

It was a huge game for Travis, who officially passed NFL legend Jerry Rice for the most postseason catches in NFL history.

On Friday ahead of the game, Travis had shot down criticism that he was distracted this season by his romance with Swift.

In response to a reporter who specifically asked Kelce if he and Swift have discussed the increased attention on them, the tight end said he and the “Karma” singer “talked about” managing privacy. “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise,” Kelce said. “Thats all that matters.”

Kelce said he’d “be silly” not to acknowledge the increased attention on him over the last year. “I think the Super Bowl helped that, and obviously how I live my off-field life, definitely helps out,” he said, referring to the infamous 2023 “Kelce Bowl” matchup between his Chiefs and Jason’s Eagles, which his side won.

Travis added that he knew what he was getting into when he started dating Swift.

“I brought this upon myself, and I do enjoy having fun with it all, and the biggest thing is making sure my focus is right here in this building,” Kelce told reporters during Friday’s presser.

Kelce continued to point out all of the “outside noise” from the media and fans, and said it’s challenging “dealing with everyone else’s perspective of things” as he gets criticism for having a very public romance during a busy NFL season.

“You hear the media throughout the year if we’re not having success, you know, maybe throw it out there that I wasn’t focused or that the team isn’t focused on certain things, and if you’re in this building, you know exactly what’s going on,” said Kelce.

“So, you gotta compartmentalize what you’re hearing and make sure that you’re staying on task, and giving everybody in the building and on that team the right perception.”

“You gotta fight for your right to party!” Kelce shouted Sunday night (Jan. 28). The Chiefs had just defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10.

“Believe it, baby, we going to Las Vegas, Nevada!” Kelce announced. “Gonna get us another one!”

Swift looked on, laughing at Kelce’s Beastie Boys reference and grinning. She appeared emotional on the M&T Stadium field.

Swift and Kelce kissed on the field in celebration of the Chiefs’ triumph.

The singer stood by Travis’ side after the game, but stepped away to give him a moment alone with his brother, Jason.

“Goddamn, that was fun to watch,” Jason said as he hugged Travis, to which Travis jokingly replied, “You keep your shirt on this time, or what?” Last weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles center went viral for taking off his shirt, guzzling beer, passionately cheering on his brother and jumping out of a suite into the stands.

Swift had friends Cara Delevingne and Keleigh Teller nearby during the game Sunday night. She was shown on camera cheering when Kelce scored a touchdown.

The pop star kicks off an international leg of her Eras Tour on Feb. 7, beginning with four concerts in Japan. Will Swift attend the Super Bowl on Feb. 11?

Though she has a concert the night before in Tokyo, it’s possible, thanks to the difference in time zones — but her presence at the big game hasn’t been confirmed.

Fans Are Torn After Broadcaster Calls Taylor Swift Travis Kelce’s ‘Biggest Cheerleader’: ‘They Didn’t Show’ Mama Kelce

Fans of the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance appeared to be split after NFL broadcasters called the “All Too Well” singer Kelce’s “biggest cheerleader,” with some pointing out that they were forgetting about his mom, Donna Kelce.

The disagreement stemmed from a moment during today’s Kansas City Chiefs-Baltimore Ravens AFC Championship game as one announcer reflected on how the game was progressing during halftime.

In a clip later shared on social media, the announcer showed footage of Kelce, the Chiefs’ tight end, celebrating a touchdown on the field before switching over to a view of Swift.

The announcer described Kelce as being “utterly dominant in the first half” before referencing his cheering squad. “And, with his biggest cheerleader in attendance, he’s got his Chiefs ahead at the half,” the announcer said.

Swift has certainly received a lot of attention for her attendance at Chiefs games throughout this NFL season. Football fans have joked about how often game-day coverage pans over to show where she’s cheering in various stadiums, though a recent New York Times analysis found that she typically appears on camera for fewer than 25 seconds during games

Some Swift-Kelce fans appeared to love thinking of Swift as Kelce’s number-one fan.

“They weren’t lying when they called her his biggest cheerleader,” said one social media user who shared a clip of the NFL announcer’s comment on X (formerly Twitter).

“‘His biggest cheerleader in attendance’ THAT WAS SO SWEET,” tweeted another.

But others felt as if Donna, known affectionately among fans as “Mama Kelce,” had been overlooked.

An X user put it simply: “His biggest cheerleader? They didn’t show Travis’ mom.”

One fan asked why the NFL’s halftime team was “acting like Mama Kelce isn’t almost always there,” and another asked if “this is why people hate” the league’s “shenanigans.”

Despite the disagreement, all Swift-Kelce fans seemed to get behind the sweet PDA moment that the couple shared on the field at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium after the Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 to secure a spot in Super Bowl LVIII. They also rallied behind photos taken on the field showing Swift embracing both of Travis’ parents

Taylor is a part of the family for a reason,” one fan said simply in response to the family photos.

With today’s game now over, the Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. Super Bowl LVIII will take place on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Taylor Swift Saddened and heartbroken after Andy Reid unveils 2 reason why Travis Kelce won’t be able to play Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens

Once again, Travis Kelce knew just what to say to make Taylor Swift fans buy his jersey (though we’d all really like to get our hands on a Kristin Juszczyk original).

On January 26, Kelce briefly spoke about his relationship with the 34-year-old pop star during a Kansas City Chiefs press conference. Discussing his new level of fame, Kelce told reporters it would be “silly” to say he didn’t “notice it go up” given last year’s Super Bowl win and how he lives his “off-field life.”

“I brought this upon myself and I do enjoy having fun with it all,” Kelce said. “My biggest thing is making sure my focus is right here in this building.”

Focus, of course, being the key word. Following some Chiefs losses earlier this season, Kelce’s dedication to football was called into question as some football fans and critics determined his relationship with Swift was a distraction. Now, the Kansas City Chiefs are just one game away from returning to the Super Bowl for the second time in a row.

“It’s just outside noise, dealing with others’ perspectives of things,” Kelce said of criticism. “You hear the media throughout the year if we’re not having success—you know, maybe throw it out there that maybe I wasn’t focused or that the team isn’t focussed on certain things. If you’re in this building, you know exactly what’s going on, so you got to compartmentalize what you’re hearing and make sure you’re staying on task and giving everybody in that building and on that team the right perception when you walk in that building.”

But that’s not the reason Swifties are gushing about Kelce on social media right now. Here’s what the footballer had to say when asked if he and Taylor Swift have discussed the negative attention: “The only thing we’ve talked about is: as long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise—that’s all that matters.”

10/10 response. No notes. “This is such a small comment, but I just feel like it holds so much weight because he’s pretty much saying in five seconds, ‘Yeah, we’re happy. Yeah, we’re not listening to the outside B.S. that people are spewing,” TikTok user @brittanydelaurentis said in a video that has received over 250,000 views and 23,000 likes. “You just love to hear it—signs of a happy, healthy couple.”

“He is totally in it. They are happy. It’s love. That’s it,” one of many users replied to the fan video. Another wrote, “You know, at first I wasn’t that into it with them but I’ve changed my mind. I’m all in. Hope this is the endgame.”

Heartbreaking reason why Venus Williams ended tennis season ahead of 2024 return

Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams has spoken about her injury issues that led to her not playing after the US Open. Williams said she “really got injured” at Wimbledon where she slipped on the grass during her first-round loss to Elina Svitolina. Williams played three more tournaments in North America. The 43-year-old has revealed plans to return in March.

Venus Williams has revealed she shut down her 2023 season after the US Open to give her “knee a chance to heal” after spending most of the summer “pretty injured”.

Williams, 43, made her return on grass in June after six months out.

She played the Libema Open and Birmingham before Wimbledon, where she slipped and appeared to injure her knee in a first-round defeat to Elina Svitolina.

She continued to play across the North American hard-court summer but ended her season after defeat to qualifier Greet Minnen in the first round of the US Open.

Looking back at her summer, Williams said on her YouTube channel: “I went to Wimbledon and sadly slipped in the third game of the match and really got injured. I spent the whole summer pretty injured with my knee, like really struggling with it.

“I didn’t want to miss the US Open, made it there, but definitely not my best performance after so much time off after Wimbledon. So, I decided not to play anymore the rest of the year and just give my knee a chance to heal.

“What was super interesting is once I just sat down, I felt better, I would say. After the US Open, I would say maybe like four weeks later I got up, I remember it was a Sunday and I got up and I was like ‘Oh my God! I’m not in pain’.

“Just like pain from sitting around, like my knee hurts, my knee is swelling every day. It’s very difficult to play tennis or any sport when you have like the swelling cycle, when your body won’t stop swelling.”

Seven-time Grand Slam champion Williams has played sparingly over the last few years as her career enters its twilight.

She has said that over the summer she couldn’t get the “swelling down” on her knee and also “lost range of motion”.

Spent the whole summer pretty injured' - Venus Williams reveals why she ended tennis season ahead of 2024 return - Eurosport

“With the swelling I was having, I lost range of motion. You lose strength when your knee is swelling, also your muscles don’t activate anymore. So, your muscles are not activating, you can’t train, so you lose muscles. It’s a whole cycle.

“This is what I was going through in the summer. I couldn’t get my swelling down, I lost range of motion, the nature of my injury was you know, all this stuff. But anyway, I was dealing with all that, so, I decided not to play any more.”

Williams is set to miss the 2024 Australian Open but has previously revealed plans to return in March, potentially ahead of Indian Wells and the Miami Open.

“I am targeting March, that’s when the tournaments go back to the States, so my goal is to be up and running when tournaments come back to the US,” she said in October on social media.

(Watch) Audie Murphy, the most decorated war hero in the history of the United States reenacts some of his experiences in the European Theater of WWII

Audie Murphy was one of the most famous faces of both the US Army and Hollywood. He valiantly served overseas throughout the Second World War, becoming the most decorated soldier in American history. He followed up his service with a successful career on the big screen, starring in a number of highly-rated films, including one about his own exploits.

The following are nine facts about the actor and veteran you might not have known.

Photo Credit: Silver Screen Collection / Getty Images

Following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, Audie Murphy was driven to enlist in the US military. He tried to join the Marine Corps, Navy and Army, but was denied by all three due to his being underweight and underage.

Undeterred, Murphy enlisted the help of his sister to falsify documents to make it appear as though he was older than he actually was. He tried, once again, to join the US Army and this time was accepted.

Murphy was sent to Camp Wolters, Texas for Basic Training, where he earned his Expert Badge with Bayonet Component Bar and Marksman Badge with Rifle Component Bar. After this, he underwent Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Meade, Maryland.

In February 1943, Audie Murphy was deployed to the Mediterranean, and after seeing notable action there was transferred to the European Theater. It was there that he would experience the majority of his wartime service. One notable incident, in particular, resulted in him being presented with the Medal of Honor.

In January 1945, Murphy was stationed in the Colmar Pocket with his platoon. He and the 3rd Infantry Division were later moved to Holtzwihr, where they encountered a German counterattack. Murphy was made commander of Company B, and, despite being injured, put the wellbeing of his men over his own.

After the Germans set an M10 tank destroyer ablaze, Murphy ordered his men to retreat to the woods, away from the enemy fire. Alone, with just his M1 Carbine and a radio to direct artillery fire, he mounted the armored vehicle and began firing its .50-caliber machine gun at the advancing troops. He did this for an hour, inflicting 50 casualties.

Murphy himself suffered yet another injury to one of his legs. Despite being wounded, he returned to his men and led a full-man charge against the Germans. Speaking about Murphy’s bravery, Pvt. Charles Owen recalled, “He saved our lives. If he hadn’t done what he did, the Germans would have annihilated us.”

The US Army changed how he viewed his name

While he was growing up, Audie Murphy hated his first name. As such, he often went by his middle name, Leon. It had been given to him by one of his older sisters, who had no idea of its meaning in Latin: “lion.” It was a rather fitting name, considering all he achieved during World War II.

Only when he entered the US Army did Murphy begin to appreciate his first name. In the service, “Leon” was considered a country name, which prompted him to go by either “Audie” or “Murph” for the remainder of his life.

Audie Murphy is known for being the most decorated soldier in American history. This isn’t a symbolic title, either – he actually earned all the honors bestowed upon him.

Along with the Medal of Honor, Murphy was presented with the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star with bronze oak leaf cluster, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star with “V” Device, the Purple Heart with two bronze oak leaf clusters, the Presidential Unit Citation with First Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Outstanding Civilian Service Medal and the Texas Legislative Medal of Honor.

He was also the recipient of a number of campaign medals – the Good Conduct Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal with Germany Clasp and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal – and several badges, including the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Marksman Badge with Rifle Component Bar and the Expert Badge with Bayonet Component Bar.

That’s not all… Those are only the awards presented to him by the US military!

Murphy also received decorations from the French and Belgians. These included the French Legion of Honor – Grade of Chevalier (Knight), the French Croix de Guerre with Silver Star, the French Croix de Guerre with Palm, the Medal of a Liberated France, the Belgian Croix de Guerre with 1940 Palm and the French Fourragère in Colors of the Croix de Guerre.

Audie Murphy suffered from battle fatigue for the rest of his life

While known back in the day as “battle fatigue,” Audie Murphy suffered from what today we’d call post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of his WWII service. After he returned home, he began to suffer from insomnia and depression, and needed to find a solution. He was prescribed Placidyl, a strong sedative, from a doctor and unknowingly became addicted to it. When he realized the grip the drug had on him, Murphy locked himself in a motel room, without any pills, and spent a week detoxing.

Unlike many celebrities and veterans of his time, Murphy became an advocate for mental health, particularly in regards to retired servicemen returning home from Korea and Vietnam. He spoke of his own experiences in his advocacy, and even pushed the US government to conduct better research into the toll combat has on the human brain.

There was once a time Audie Murphy wanted to make a film about another Medal of Honor recipient, Desmond Doss. Awarded the decoration for his actions at Hacksaw Ridge during the Battle of Okinawa, Doss risked his life to treat his injured comrades, even though it meant exposing himself to unrelenting enemy fire. His efforts saved the lives of 75 men.

Hal B. Wallis, the producer of Casablanca (1942), tried to use Murphy to convince Doss to sell his story to Hollywood. However, the MoH recipient didn’t consider himself a hero, nor did he want “his character being impugned or compromised,” so he turned down the offer. It wasn’t until the release of Hacksaw Ridge in 2016 that Doss’ bravery made it to the big screen.

It’s rare that someone gets a film made about their life, let alone that they get to star as themselves in it. Audie Murphy is one of the few who did, portraying himself in the 1955 movie, To Hell and Back, based on the 1949 autobiography ghostwritten by his friend, David McClure.

To Hell and Back covers Murphy’s service during the Second World War, and stars the likes of Jack Kelly, Marshall Thompson, Charles Drake, Gregg Palmer and Paul Picerni, among a host of other notable names. It was released on the anniversary of his discharge from the US Army, and received generally positive reviews.

In the last few years of his life, Audie Murphy struggled financially. He lost several hundred thousand dollars in an Algerian oil deal, and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) had come after him for unpaid taxes.

While the majority of actors would have accepted any job that came their way, he refused to go against his morals. Murphy was offered a number of cigarette and alcohol commercials, but turned down each one, as he didn’t want to set a bad example for his young fans.

While traveling to a business deal on May 28, 1971, Audie Murphy was killed when the private plane he was in crashed into the side of a mountain in Roanoke, Virginia. Given his prior military service, he was granted a plot in Arlington National Cemetery, where he was buried with full military honors on June 7.

Given his status, Murphy’s gravestone became a high-traffic area, becoming the second-most visited at Arlington, after that of President John F. Kennedy. The amount of visitors prompted the constructed of a flagstone walkway, and those wishing to visit the grave can find it in Section 46, across from the Memorial Amphitheater.
