“We made it about 1 or 2 days past the halfway point line. Much of My Mind and Me‘s shooting took place in 2019 and beyond, but the project initially began in 2016 during Gomez’s Revival tour. After rehearsal, Gomez is very down on her performance and mentioned being afraid that she wasn’t seen as enough on her own.

It’s then that she alludes to a potential collaboration with Justin that ultimately wasn’t released. (Teen Vogue speculated this was the 2015 duet “Strong,” which was leaked but never ultimately came out.) When talking about the head of her record label, John Janick, she said, while crying, “I don’t know what John thinks, I want to talk to John. I don’t want to disappoint John. I don’t want him to think that he signed some f*cking Disney kid. It just sucks too, because the whole song thing. He called me this morning about the song with Justin, like, when am I just going to be good enough by myself? When am I just gonna be good enough by myself, not needing anybody to be associated with?”

Friends around her reassured her, “you already are.”

Gomez talked about moving on from the Justin breakup when releasing “Lose You to Love Me” and how the split was “the best thing that ever happened.”

Justin’s last appearance in the doc came when Gomez discussed releasing “Lose You to Love Me”—her breakup song about him. It was the last time her love life was really referenced in the film, as the rest of it was about her mental health recovery and finding her purpose.

When discussing being ready to write about the experience, Gomez said, “I texted Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter and said I think I’m ready to just say I’m sad. We wrote the song in 45 minutes, the fastest song I’ve ever written. It’s about more than just a lost love. It’s me learning to choose myself, to choose life, but also hoping that people can find grace and peace in that too.”

“The song is about knowing that you completely lost every part of who you are just to rediscover yourself again,” she continued. “Everything was so public. I felt haunted by a past relationship that no one wanted to let go of. But then I just moved past it, and I wasn’t afraid anymore.”

“I feel like I had to go through the worst possible heartbreak ever and then just forgetting everything at the drop of a hand, it was really confusing,” she added. “But I just think that needed to happen and ultimately it was the best thing that ever happened to me.”

Everyone hates MLB’s new uniforms.

The MLB/Nike uniform fiasco continues to reach new lows that have triggered a significant backlash from fans and players. The new uniforms were designed by Nike, but the company has outsourced production of the garments to Fanatics.

The worst thing about the uniforms just might be the pants.

As spring training games begin and official photos are taken, it has become clear that Fanatics dropped the ball by essentially using thinner material for the pants, and that is an issue since all of the pants are white.

The pants are almost see-through as tucked-in shirts and even compression shorts can be seen.

The material can also show the outline of sensitive areas as shown by a San Diego Padres player as he bent over.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn’t just an All-Pro selection, a nine-time Pro-Bowler, and a three-time Super Bowl champion. Now, he can add ‘movie producer’ to his impressive list of accomplishments.

Kelce has been revealed as an executive producer of the new dark comedy drama “My Dead Friend Zoe.” The film features an impressive cast including Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Gloria Reuben.

Although the film premiered over the weekend at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, Kelce unfortunately couldn’t attend to watch it firsthand.

Instead, he was halfway across the world, attending one of girlfriend Taylor Swift’s six dates on her Eras Tour in Singapore.

Cameras captured Travis in a suit, watching his significant other perform, and later, he was seen walking out of the arena with her. They were spotted at a restaurant after the concert ended.

Regarding the film in Austin, Kelce’s executive-produced project is helmed by military veteran and Bronze Star recipient Kyle Hausman-Stokes.

“It was truly surreal to receive that news,” Hausmann-Stokes remarked about Kelce’s executive production involvement in the project.

“Travis is a strong supporter of the military and veterans. When this project crossed his desk, it resonated deeply with him for those reasons. His involvement has brought significant attention and energy to the film, ensuring it reaches a wider audience,” said the director, Kyle Hausman-Stokes.

The synopsis for “My Dead Friend Zoe” follows Merit, a U.S. Army Afghanistan veteran, grappling with her family dynamics and the lingering presence of her deceased best friend from the Army, Zoe. As Merit’s estranged grandfather seeks help, the complexities of friendship, family, and grief unfold.

The film is currently seeking distribution and a release date for wider audiences.
