Married Dolly Parton has denied she’s gay after being dogged by years of rumours that she is secretly dating her best friend, Judy Ogle.
In an interview with The Sun, the 73-year-old, who has been married to Carl Dean, 76, for five decades, Dolly said ‘all good publicity is good publicity’ but it’s not true.
She said: ‘So people say that, because you can’t really have a great relationship with a woman. I’m not gay but I have so many gay friends and I accept everybody for who they are.

Dolly has been friends with Judy since they were kids, for 64 years in fact, and she regularly refers to her as her ‘girlfriend’ and says they are like ‘sisters.’
But she compares their closeness to Oprah Winfrey, 65, and her best friend, Gayle King, as they have also been falsely linked.
She said: ‘Well, people love to talk, people love to gossip. They’ve said that about Oprah but it’s not true.

Dolly and her husband have always kept a low profile, and she says she loves that she’s a gay icon, but there’s nothing more to it than that.
The iconic singer previously spoke to USA Today about her husband, saying he isn’t a huge fan of her songs and has only seen her perform live a few times.
She said: ‘He’s not necessarily one of the biggest fans of my music. He’s proud of me and he loves that I love what I do but … It’s a touchy subject.
‘I’m like his little girl and he worries about that.
And talking about what makes their relationship work, Dolly gave some insights.
She said: ‘The fact that we like each other, we respect each other, we’ve always had a good time. He’s crazy and I’m crazy. We laugh a lot and I think that’s the healthiest and most precious part of our relationship.’

Dolly Parton revealed Saturday that she’s in talks with Playboy to pose for the iconic magazine to celebrate her 75th birthday.
The 74-year-old Jolene singer, who turns 75 in January, posed in a black bunny suit on the cover of Playboy in the October 1978 issue.
Speaking at the weekend on the Scott Mills & Chris Stark show on Radio 5 Live, the country singer said she would appear in the magazine if it was in ‘good taste.’

Scott Mills asked Dolly if it was true that she was ‘planning to star on the cover of Playboy magazine’ to mark her 75th birthday.
‘Yeah, I just might do it, if I can do it in good taste and they want it [and] we’ll do it along with a really good interview inside. So, yeah, we’ve talked about it,’ she replied.
Speaking earlier this year she said didn’t plan on retiring any time soon — and that her 40DD ‘boobs,’ which are insured for around $600,000 — would still fit in the Playboy bunny outfit.
She said it would be ‘a hoot’ if she went on the cover on the men’s magazine again when she hit 75.

The legendary country singer will be staying in the holiday spirit for a bit longer, as she’s also set to star in and executive produce the Netflix movie Christmas On The Square, based on her song of the same name.
Christine Baranski and Jenifer Lewis will round out the film’s lead cast, while Treat Williams (Blue Bloods), Josh Segarra (Orange Is the New Black) and Jeanine Mason (Roswell, New Mexico) will also appear.

Baranski (The Good Fight) stars as Regina, a wealthy but cold-hearted woman who returns to her small hometown after her father’s death with plans of evicting all his tenants and selling the land to a mall developer.
But she’s soon moved by the Christmas spirit after connecting with the townspeople, reconnecting with an old love and meeting an actual angel (played by Parton).
Lewis (Black-ish) plays Margeline, a local beauty shop owner and the closest Regina has to a friend, while Segarra stars as the town’s pastor leading the fight against her, and Mason portrays an angel-in-training.
Last year, the streaming service released Heartstrings, an anthology series inspired by her songs, and it also released the movie Dumplin’ in 2018, which featured six new songs written by Dolly.

  • How Dolly Parton became Miley Cyrus’ godmother

How Dolly Parton became Miley Cyrus’ godmother

It’s no secret that Dolly Parton will always love her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, but how did their sweet connection begin?

Parton, 77, shared the story of how she became Cyrus’ godmother during a recent interview on Sirius XM’s “The Howard Stern Show.”

The country icon explained that she became close to the “Malibu” singer’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, when he toured with her while promoting his 1992 single, “Achy Breaky Heart.”

“We just got to be good friends because he’s a Kentucky boy, I’m from Tennessee,” Parton said. “And he said … ‘We’re having a girl, and you’ve got to be her godmother!’ And I said, ‘Well, I’d be honored.’ So actually, Miley and I took over from there. We just stayed very, very close through the years.”

Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus perform onstage at the 61st annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on February 10, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Parton had plenty of other glowing things to say about Cyrus, 30.

“I love Miley. She’s my little sweetheart. I’ve known her since before she was born, actually,” she said.

Stern also asked Parton whether Cyrus ever comes to her for advice.

“Well, she’s asked me a lot of things. She mostly just runs things by me, and we talk,” Parton said. “She’s very successful. Miley’s very smart. She’s very intuitive about the business, and I just think Miley’s a spectacular human being and an amazing talent.”

Parton and Cyrus have collaborated multiple times over the years. Most recently, they performed a cover of Cyrus’ 2013 hit, “Wrecking Ball,” for Parton’s new rock album, “Rockstar,” out Nov. 17.

The lyrics include what seems to be a playful nod to Parton’s classic song, “I Will Always Love You.”

In the original version of “Wrecking Ball,” Cyrus sings, “I can’t live a lie, running for my life/ I will always want you,” but in the collaboration with Parton, the line is changed to, “I can’t live a lie, running for my life/ I will always love you.”

Cyrus celebrated her latest collaboration with her godmother in a recent post on the X platform.

“I’ve grown up covering my Aunt Dollys music & it’s an honor to hear her singing one of my songs,” she wrote. “I love you Aunt Dolly! I’m so happy to add another collaboration under our bedazzled (studded leather) belt!”

Fans Praise Dolly Parton As She Thanks Lil Nas X For ‘Jolene’ Cover

What did Dolly Parton think about Lil Nas X’s cover of ‘Jolene’?

    Via: Twitter

Dolly Parton continues to cement her status as the “kindest woman in America” as she praised Lil Nas X for his live performance of her iconic song “Jolene.”

The rapper, whose debut album was released earlier this month, covered the Smoky Mountain Songbird’s 1973 single at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge last week. He posted a clip of the performance to his Twitter account.

“I chose this because I feel like this song is kind of like beautifully sad, you know? I like the little country twang, so I was like, ‘Let me try this out,’” Lil Nas X said of his song choice.

Well, the Queen of Country has now replied, and she has nothing but praise for the Montero rapper. “I was so excited when someone told me that Lil Nas X had done my song Jolene,” Parton wrote. “I had to find it and listen to it immediately…and it’s really good. Of course, I love him anyway. I was surprised and I’m honored and flattered. I hope he does good for both of us. Thank you Lil Nas X.”

Fans are not surprised at Parton’s outpouring of support for Lil Nas, given her history of altruism and kindness. But they are particularly happy to see the support for the rapper, who has commented on the homophobia he has experienced in the rap industry.

“We could all take a lesson and elevate the people around us the way Dolly Parton does. Giving and encouraging and lifting each other up makes the world a better place,” wrote one happy fan.

Another was impressed by the level of goodness Parton possesses. “The only thing I can surmise about the number of a**holes right now in this country is that there is a finite amount of goodness, and God gave like 85% to Dolly Parton,” they wrote.

Some fans pointed out that while he’s only recently released his first album, Lil Nas X has some of the music industry’s heaviest hitters on his side, and fans are definitely enjoying the new friendship.

“The fact that Lil Nas X has both Elton John and Dolly Parton’s full support and respect really tells us who is on the right side of history here,” one admirer wrote.

“Dolly Parton’s recommendation of Lil Nas X’s version of “Jolene” is a statement by someone who not only has the joy of music and inclusion in their heart, but the confidence to know that someone else celebrating her gift is not a threat to her legacy. Dolly Parton is The Best,” celebrated another.

Now that Lil Nas X has teamed up with Miley Cyrus, Goddaughter to Parton, who has famously covered “Jolene” herself, can we expect a three-way collaboration in the future?

  • Francis Ngannou’s new WBC ranking revealed after stunning Anthony Joshua knockout (Video)

Francis Ngannou’s new WBC ranking revealed after stunning Anthony Joshua knockout (Video)

Francis Ngannou’s new WBC ranking has been revealed after he was knocked out by Anthony Joshua – and it’s bad news for the former UFC star.

Ngannou was taking part in his second competitive professional boxing bout against Joshua on March 8, after a narrow split decision defeat to Tyson Fury in October.

As a result of that Fury bout, some pundits gave the French-Cameroonian fighter a chance of upsetting the odds against Joshua in Riyadh.

But the Brit showed his class with a dominant display, and knocked Ngannou down with a fearsome right hand in round one.

Joshua then floored Ngannou twice in the second round to win via knockout in incredible fashion, with his opponent briefly requiring oxygen after the fight before thankfully getting back to his feet.

Speaking on his Instagram account last week, Ngannou revealed he was ‘falling asleep and sweating’ in the locker room before the fight.

He also confirmed that he will return to boxing when the time is right.

But he will have to do so from a much lower starting point in terms of the rankings, with his new ranking now revealed after the Joshua defeat.

Ngannou is now ranked 24th in the WBC heavyweight rankings, dropping behind the likes of Joe Joyce, Dereck Chisora and Otto Wallin.

He was previously ranked as world number 10.

Despite his convincing victory in Saudi Arabia, Joshua had some classy words for Ngannou and his coach immediately after the knockout.

In a short conversation that was picked up by DAZN cameras, Joshua said: “You’re an inspiration. You’d beat a lot of people. Don’t leave boxing – don’t leave.

“Dewey [Cooper, Ngannou’s head coach] – don’t leave boxing, you know. This guy is the truth.

“If you [Ngannou] need anything, let me know. We’ll speak another time. I’d love to support your foundation – we’ll speak another time.”

  • Boxing legend questions whether Mike Tyson and Jake Paul ‘may have agreed’ how their huge fight ends

Boxing legend questions whether Mike Tyson and Jake Paul ‘may have agreed’ how their huge fight ends

Boxing legend Teddy Atlas has questioned whether Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have already ‘agreed’ on how their fight will end.

Paul, 27, is set to take on former world champion Tyson, 57, on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The details of the fight, such as the rounds and weight, are yet to be determined – but the two have so far been vocal in their public exchanges ahead of the bout.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming showdown against Tyson – also known as ‘Iron Mike’ – Paul said: “I idolized Mike Tyson until the first time I met him 4 years ago…he called me Logan. Going to make sure he knows who I am real close and personal.”

Tyson has also had his say after taking to his personal social media to post a video of himself training, where he said: “You still wanna f*** with me?”

While anticipation is building amongst the two fighters and fans across the world, boxing trainer and commentator Atlas is hesitant to join the hype.

“Unless this is a WWE agreement, which I don’t know that it is – I never said this before because I think all these fights are legitimate, and they are and have been – but this one makes me wonder,” he said said on his YouTube channel (as quoted by Daily Mirror).

“I’m not questioning the integrity of Paul. In fact, I like his integrity. I like what I’ve seen in the guy.

    Mike Tyson and Jake Paul
    Mike Tyson and Jake Paul

“I’m just saying, if there was a time I would question it, this would be the time.

“I can’t see, unless Paul is that confident, that Tyson is too old now and he’s that good, because Paul has been getting more confident, and he does have a good right hand and does punch well with it and Tyson leads with left hooks.

“Maybe Paul thinks he can hit him with a right hand, I don’t know.

“All I know is that this is the first time I’ve said, ‘I wonder if there’s an agreement, because if there’s no agreement, Paul might be making a mistake. … I’m surprised Paul is taking this risk.

“Power doesn’t disappear even when you’re old. He’s still got speed in the combinations. He’s still got that style.”

There is no evidence or suggestion out there to support Atlas’ claims, however, and Paul and his management have already rubbished several conspiracy theory claims surrounding the fight – with this looking to be just one of many that we’ve seen as the fight edges closer.

Tyson was last in action back in November 2020, where he had an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. Paul was also in action on the same card, as he knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson.

  • Christian Horner Would Have Been Sacked Long Ago if Ex-Red Bull Supremo Was Still Alive; Deduces German Publication

According to a recent report from a German publication, Red Bull’s co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz and Christian Horner did not see eye to eye towards the last days of the former’s life. The report adds that if the late Austrian was still alive today, he would have dismissed Horner long back because of the allegation against the Briton.

German media house Bild reported, “All insiders agree on one thing: If he (Mateschitz) were still there today, Horner would have been fired by now – but his death immediately shifted the balance of power.” At the time when Mateschitz was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Horner formed a friendship with Chalerm Yoovidhya.

Yoovidhya owns 51% of the company’s shares, while Mateschitz and his heirs have the other 49%. Therefore, the Thai family has the majority of shares and gets to have the final call. Experts believe this is the only reason why Horner is still leading the team.

However, it is pertinent to note that Mateschitz and Horner did not always reportedly have a rift. It all began with the failure of the Porsche deal back in 2022.

How did the Porsche deal ruin Christian Horner and Dietrich Mateschitz’s relationship?

Dietrich Mateschitz for long had an amicable relationship with Christian Horner until the Porsche deal changed things. While Horner and Mateschitz both agreed on the deal initially, it fell apart after the Briton wanted to limit Porsche’s role in the partnership.

The Red Bull Racing team principal wanted Porsche to remain as an engine supplier only and this ruined the deal for the German automotive giants. Porsche wanted to acquire 50% of the team, something Horner was not ready to give in. Therefore, the deal never took place, and this reportedly hugely upset Mateschitz.

Mateschitz could not help but accept the situation as he had no other option at the time. He was terribly ill, and it was just four weeks later that he passed away in 2022 at the age of 78. Now, Red Bull Racing is all set to partner with Ford from the 2026 season onwards.

While Horner failed to seal a deal with Porsche as per his demands, he was able to do so with Ford. The American automobile giants will only work with Red Bull Racing as the team’s engine supplier.

  • How Rich Is Dolly Parton’s Family?

How Rich Is Dolly Parton’s Family?

Her net worth is bigger than her family’s combined.

There are a lot of little Dolly-isms we love, like how she sleeps with a full face of makeup on, humbly denied a statue of herself built in her honor, and indirectly allowed for Buffy the Vampire Slayer to be made. These are just a couple of reasons why we love her; don’t even get us started with how much we love her generosity. Her $650 million net worth should actually be way higher technically, but she’s given away most of it to charity.

But another, possibly unknown, Dolly-ism is her choice of private life with her husband, Carl Dean Thomas, and her huge family. She has eleven siblings, and most of them went into the music business just like her. Sure, we can say that they didn’t become as successful as the iconic Dolly Parton, but they have all been successful in their own rights.

Here’s how much Parton’s family is worth, but it’s safe to say that all their net worths can fit inside their sister’s.

The Parton Kids Had A Musical Mother Who Taught Them Everything

Dolly is the fourth child out of the 12 children born to Robert and Avie Lee Parton. She was born in a one-bedroom cabin in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, so the family was not wealthy by any means.

Willadeene was born first. Then there’s David Wilburn, Coy Denver, Dolly Rebecca, Bobby Lee, Stella Mae, Cassie Nan, Randel Huston “Randy,” Larry Gerald (who died after birth), Estel Floyd, and twins Freida Estelle and Rachel Ann.

While Robert worked in the mountains, Avie was able to keep her children entertained like Maria Von Trapp from Sound of Music. She taught her children folklore and how to sing, and soon they were a family of singers.

What Do All 11 Siblings Do And How Much Are They Worth?

Seven out of the eleven children wound up going into showbiz after coming from such a musical home, and all of them have collaborated at one time or another.

Parton has released music with her brother Floyd, who is the only other sibling to have died. They’ve c0-written songs like “Rockin’ Years,” which made No. 1 on the Country Music Charts in 1991, “Nickels and Dimes,” and “Waltz Me to Heaven.”

We don’t know what Floyd’s net worth is, but we can guess that it’s in the millions if he wrote a lot of chart-topping hits with his sister.

Stella, Willadeene, and Cassie have also worked in the studio. They recorded a gospel album called In the Garden in their early careers. Willadeene’s showbiz career faded after that, but she is a successful author now. She even published a book on her family called In the Shadow of a Song: The Parton Family. Her net worth may be in the hundred thousand or the low millions.

Stella went on to be another chart-topping success like Parton and Floyd. She had hits like “I Want to Hold You in My Dreams Tonight” and appeared in various TV shows throughout the ’70s, including Parton’s 2015 television movie Coat of Many Colors. She’s also appeared in Cloud Dancer, Ragin’ Cajun, Seven to Midnight, and Ghost Town: The Movie, A Dance for Bethany.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Stella’s worth about $10 million from her various endeavors, including her ten studio albums.

Randy is also a performer. He had a band called Moonlight Bandits and sang back-up on the soundtrack of Parton’s movie, Rhinestone. He’s also appeared on stage with Rachel a couple of times, performing with her and Dollywood’s a capella group, Honey Creek.

He released two singles in 1981, “Hold Me Like You Never Had Me” and “Shot Full of Love,” both of which reached #30 on the US Country charts. He is also worth about $10 million.

Rachel appeared on the series 9 to 5, starring as the same character Parton played in the film of the same name. She was on for a couple of seasons. Her last name is now Dennison, and her net worth is estimated to be between $1 million and $5 million.

Frieda was in a punk band in the ’80s but has since retired from performing, as has Cassie. Both of their net worths are unknown. We know Frieda is working as an ordained minister, though.

As for Coy, Robert, and David, who didn’t go into showbiz, there’s not much on them. They live their own private lives away from the spotlight, so we couldn’t say what they do for a living, much less how much they make.

    Dolly Bought Their Childhood Home

Even though they all grew up in a small cabin in poverty, Parton still has attachments to the house because of all their memories. So she bought it and spent millions renovating it with one of her brothers, who is a carpenter.

“What we tried to do was make it look like it did when we lived there, but we wanted it to be functional. So I spent a couple million dollars making it look like I spent $50 on it,” Parton explained during an appearance on The Nate Berkus Show. “Even like in the bathroom, I made the bathroom, so it looked like an outdoor toilet.”

The family has come a long way since the days where their parents had to pay the doctors in oatmeal so they’d deliver them safely. But they never considered themselves poor, to begin with. Parton said they “were rich in things that money don’t buy. You know, like love and kindness and understanding.” We love the Parton outlook.

Mike Tyson announces shock career decision ahead of Jake Paul fight that nobody saw coming

Mike Tyson has announced a major career change ahead of his upcoming fight with Jake Paul.

Tyson will return to the ring to face Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in what will be the main event of a card that will air on Netflix.

The 57-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion has not fought since drawing with Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition match in 2020, while his last professional bout came back in 2005 against Kevin McBridge, when he was beaten inside two rounds.

It is yet to be confirmed if his fight with Paul, 27, will be fully professional, a non-judged fight with pro rules or merely an exhibition bout.

Tyson’s decision to return to boxing has divided opinion, with some boxing fans concerned for the former heavyweight champion’s wellbeing.

Undeterred, Tyson has posted several videos of his training regime ahead of the fight, in which he looks in peak physical condition for a man of his age.

He is seemingly giving the fight his full focus, announcing on Wednesday that his podcast – Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson – had come to an end. Check out the video below.

“Ladies and gentlemen, these are my final recordings of HotBoxin’,” said Tyson.

“I really enjoyed being a part of this journey and all the people that I met, the remarkable people that I met in interviews.

“And by now, for me, this is my next chapter in life. Please enjoy the following socials at Mike Tyson and MikeTyson.com for my next venture, please. I love you all.”

Tyson spoke to numerous high-profile guests on his podcast including Kevin Hart, Joe Rogan, Dana White, Tony Hawk, The Undertaker and Eminem.

His full focus will now on his upcoming bout with Paul.

Numerous high-profile names have already given their views on the controversial fight, including WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ has supported Tyson returning to the sport and calls his against Paul an “even match”.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground, he said: “I think it’s fantastic for boxing.

“You’ve got a legend in Mike Tyson. You’ve got a YouTube boxer [Jake Paul]. He has come into the game and blew it up and he’s got millions of followers and millions of views and millions of eyes. Good, bad or indifferent. Some people love him, some people hate him.

“So, I think it’s a really good spectacle for boxing. Brings a lot of people to the game.”
