Mike Tyson has changed the whopping purse he wants for his fight against Jake Paul.
Tyson will make an extraordinary return to boxing for the first time since November 2020 to face Paul.
He’ll fight the social media sensation on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The contest will be streamed live on Netflix.
The 57-year-old is already in training for his opponent, who is 30 years his junior.

‘Iron Mike’ sent a chilling message to Paul during a recent sparring session.
A fight with ‘The Problem Child’ has been rumoured for several years and it’s reportedly taken a big offer to get Tyson out of retirement.
UFC legend Henry Cejudo recently claimed the former world heavyweight champion will pocket a cool $20 million this summer.
“I mean, you know what I respect, Uncle Mike… But it obviously takes two to tango,” he said.
“I feel like there is probably a really good payday for Mike. He’s probably going to wind up making close to about 20 mil, and he’s about to turn 58 years old.”

In 2022, rumours of a Tyson vs. Paul fight started to swirl. Tyson heard about it for the first time on his Hotboxin’ podcast and shot it down immediately.
He then suggested a figure he’d want to fight Paul, which is far higher than what he’ll actually be getting this year.
Tyson claimed: “Nobody told me that. Hey, I ain’t got no f**king money. So where’s the f**king contract?
“I ain’t know nothing about it. Listen, I’ve been smoking with him forever, I did some shrooms with him as well. But I’ve never heard this.
“I was with him in St Barts not too long ago partying and he never told me this. I’ve never heard this from nobody, I’ve just heard this from you guys.

“We got to get some more man s**t, blue-eyed, blonde hair, that s**t is very expensive, we need to get some more money, man.”
When asked how much he’d actually want, Tyson immediately replied: “A billion bucks.”
Lennox Lewis, a former opponent of Tyson’s, recently shared a simulation of the fight to his Instagram page. It ended exactly how you’re expecting.
Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh did not hold back from voicing his disappointment about the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Tyson vs. Paul is set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which will be aired on Netflix.
The 57-year-old started his training camp last week as he showed off his legendary power and hand speed on the pads with coach Rafael Cordeiro, who has revealed the approach the former world heavyweight champion will take in his return fight.

Dana White, who’s pals with the boxing icon, isn’t a fan of Tyson returning to the sport.
UFC star McGregor believes there’s no ‘interest’ in Tyson vs. Paul as he hit out at the match-up.
The Irishman’s coach has also questioned the bout, claiming the audience won’t be ‘high-level’ boxing fans.
“I just think the majority of those people are not going to be really high-level boxing aficionados,” he told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.
“What are they really watching it for? They want to see a good press conference, maybe a bit of shoving and shouting… whatever else they put on.
“They will want to see a spectacular event; lighting, fireworks and great walkouts.”

Kavanagh added: “But once it goes click… they don’t really know what they are looking at or have massive interest. Their stomachs wouldn’t be able to see hard fighting.
“I just think majority of people watching this is going be for the entertainment side of it… so put on an entertaining show.”
Tyson vs. Paul continues to be widely condemned by high-profile figures in the combat sports world.
It will be the ageing legend’s first appearance in a ring since his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr back in November 2020.
As for Paul, he recently scored a big win over Ryan Bourland to improve his professional record to 9-1.
Former England international Jill Scott has been called out to a fight on the undercard of Mike Tyson’s comeback against Jake Paul.
Tyson vs. Paul is set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which will be aired on Netflix.
The undercard is yet to be announced, but Scott has been challenged to a fight on the summer event.
Astrid Wett has taken to social media to issue a challenge to the former Manchester City midfielder.
Now, Wett is much smaller in height compared to Scott but has experience in boxing.
Wett, a big Chelsea fan, has been involved in several influencer bouts under KSI’s Misfits Boxing promotion.
She has three matches to her name, boasting wins over Keeley, AJ Bunker and Alexia Grace, which took place on the KSI vs. Tommy Fury bill.
If she has her way, then she’ll compete on the undercard of Tyson’s bout versus Paul.
In a video posted on social media, Wett says: “I think it’s about time I put my gloves back on and call out Jill Scott.
“Now I know she’s a little bit taller than me but I’m sure we can make it work and this would definitely sell out an arena, and a big payday for Jill, too.
“Jill Scott, you know what to do,” she added, before putting a clip of Tyson’s ‘sign the contract big boy’ that he delivered against Bob Sapp.
Scott has yet to respond to Wett’s call-out, but Ebanie Bridges wants a piece of the social media star.
The Australian, who lost the IBF female world bantamweight title in her last outing, has called out the 23-year-old to a fight on the undercard of Tyson vs. Paul.
On X, she wrote: “Can I beat up @AstridWett on the undercard of @jakepaul vs @MikeTyson?? I mean I’d enjoy it.”
In another post, Bridges wrote: “I’d do a Mike Tyson on her lol.”
Mike Tyson’s coach has played down health concerns surrounding the boxing legend ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
Tyson, 57, will return to the ring to face Paul, 27, on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in what will be the main event of a card that will air on Netflix.
It is yet to be confirmed if the fight will be fully professional, a non-judged fight with pro rules or an exhibition bout.
Tyson has not fought since drawing with Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition match in 2020, while his last professional bout came back in 2005 against Kevin McBridge, when he was stopped in two rounds before hanging up the gloves.
His decision to return to boxing has divided opinion, with some boxing fans concerned for the former heavyweight champion’s wellbeing.
Meanwhile, a senior lecturer in medicine at Anglia Ruskin University has warned that the fight could see Tyson suffer fatal injuries.
Dr Stephen Hughes claimed that as an older man and recovering alcoholic, ‘Iron Mike’ is at risk of suffering a subdural haematoma – a tearing of veins in the brain.
However, Tyson’s trainer Rafael Cordeiro has played down those concerns and insists his fighter will be in the best possible shape heading into the bout.
“I believe we don’t have to be concerned about it,” Rafael Cordeiro said on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.
“We’re talking about a two-time world champion. The guy didn’t have 20 fights in two years, he knows how to fight. He’s fought against the best guys in the world. When he steps inside the ring he knows what to do.”

He added: “It’s not something new for Mike, and this fight is no different. He works hard every single day to go in there and try to knock Jake out from the beginning to the end.
“This is his style, nobody has teach Mike Tyson how to fight. He’s going to prove that in July. You can see fire in his eyes when he trains, and he will never give less than that.
“I truly believe it is going to be a great show. Mike is going to step into the ring as the old Mike Tyson, and he’s going to try and knock out Jake from the beginning to the end.”

Now that things are officially official between the pair, let’s do a deep dive – all the way back to the beginnings of their relationship
When we’re talking it teen couples, it’s hard to top Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham.
But it’s been a long road to love for the two – or at least, it has been for those of us watching.
Let’s take a look back on everything we have ever heard about the two as a couple, shall we?
August 2014
Murmurings that these two teens were seeing each other started nearly two years ago. They reportedly met during SoulCycle class, and would engaged in a little friendly competition during class. “”They cycle next to each other and are very cute,” a source told PEOPLE. “Always look to be cheering each other on with smiles.” Brooklyn, a source told PEOPLE, was “totally smitten” with Chloë.
And Beckham’s famous parents approved from the get-go. “Brooklyn is always chaperoned by one of his parents,” the source added. “But both David and Victoria must be okay with Chloë, because they will chat briefly with her and then leave them alone.”
The rumors of a coupling between the two were only heightened after they were spotted together at the Teen Choice Awards.
September 2014
And though she didn’t discuss a romantic relationship, Chloë spoke out about her friendship with Brooklyn in the September 2014 issue of Company, in particular, their shared love of skateboarding.
“Who’s better? I don’t know! I mean, he had a pretty small skateboard, and I had more of a long board,” she said. “I think he’s a risk taker, like a typical guy, weaving in and out of people. I’m a ‘safety boarder.’ I don’t want to break any bones!”
October 2014
She couldn’t stop talking about Beckham to interviewers, it seems. In the October 2014 issue of Teen Vogue, she talked about what she admires about her rumored boyfriend.
“What I find really interesting about Brooklyn – and what I really love about that kid – is that he is passionate about what he wants, which is to be a professional soccer player,” she told the magazine. “And I enjoy someone who is on my level with the seriousness kind of thing.”
January 2016
However, just over a year later, Chloë was claiming to Marie Claire that she wasn’t ready for a relationship, and that she was “not looking for a while.” She did give a telling sign of her romantic interests, saying that she wasn’t interested in dating someone older (Brooklyn is 16, Chloë is 19.)
“I don’t want to date older people, because I’m 18 and older people are more serious,” she said. “Then I kind of realized, I’ll go on dates, why not? And that’s kind of how I am right now.”
Later that month, the two were spotted hanging out in London. Though Chloë may not have been looking for anything serious, it seems to have found her anyways!
April 2016
Even more proof? Chloë, her mother and her brother joined the Beckhams for a family dinner at the Soho House in L.A. in April.
“It was a really fun family late-night dinner vibe,” a source told PEOPLE of the evening.
And the young lovebirds, it seemed, were definitely on. The source told PEOPLE that Chloë was stroking Brooklyn’s arm and he rested his head on her shoulder.
“They definitely seemed like a couple.”
Luckily for Chloë, she also seemed to hold on to Victoria Beckham’s approval.
“Victoria moved from her seat at one point to sit next to Chlo and they were having a long chat together,” the source said. “It was really sweet.”
After their dinner, Brooklyn posted an Instagram where he and Chloë cuddled close in an elevator. The adorable image was left captionless, leaving many to wonder Was this it? Are they really together?
He didn’t stop there. That same week, Brooklyn uploaded another cozy image of the two, this time alongside a telling heart emoji.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BEqSiXUxbMg/
Clearly, Chloë is feeling the love too: She regrammed the image, and had been posting sneaky photos of her own all week.
First, she uploaded one of herself at the airport. Seems innocent enough, right? Wrong. The caption read “Just a mermaid.. Making her way to London.. To find her prince ” Guess who lives in London?!
Later on, she did a one a couple holding hands. We can’t be positive it’s Brooklyn – she didn’t tag him – but in this case, it’s safe to assume.
May 2016
The Instagrams just kept coming – and they only got more informative. Brooklyn posted another image, this time of his foot next to hers, both clad in checker-print Vans. “Matching,” he wrote, accompanied by a heart emoji. “Missing this one.”
After all, the couple that dresses together, stays together!
And you can only hide the truth for so long! After nearly two years of whispers, Chloë confirmed that she and Brooklyn were indeed in a relationship during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live!
“We’re in a relationship, it’s fine, it’s no biggie,” she said. “I think the more I don’t make it mysterious the more people don’t care, so yes, we’re in a relationship,” she said.
Thank you, Chloë, for clearing up this year-plus-long mystery.
Red Bull is currently going through a period of massive uncertainty with the ongoing Christian Horner saga. As a result, speculations have been rife about the future of some of the other senior members of the team. One of them is three-time champion Max Verstappen. There have been rumors that the Dutchman is considering switching to arch-rivals Mercedes.
When asked in a recent interview with The Project if there will ever come a time when he will not race for Red Bull, Verstappen gave a hilarious reply. The 26-year-old said, “Once I stop driving.”
After sharing a hearty laugh with the interviewer and Daniel Ricciardo, Verstappen added, “I don’t really think about it too much anyway. Like, what I’m doing in the future, whatever. I know that I have a contract until ’28. So, I guess that’s enough.”

The rumors over a move to Mercedes emerged after a fallout between Jos Verstappen (Max Verstappen’s father) and Christian Horner. As the controversy over the allegations against the team boss refused to die down, Jos called for Horner’s ouster.
The former F1 driver even held the Briton guilty for causing a division in the team which could “explode” anytime. Soon after Jos’ allegations, Helmut Marko made a startling revelation.
In an interview with the media during the Saudi Arabian GP, the Austrian confirmed his absence from the upcoming Australian GP. Without confirming, the Austrian hinted at a possible suspension that Red Bull management might hand out to him.
Max Verstappen took this news seriously and vowed to follow Marko in case the latter decided to exit the team. The reigning champion has anyway never shown an interest in continuing in F1 for long. Therefore, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he chose to retire earlier than expected.
Max Verstappen could bid F1 adieu before the end of his Red Bull contract
Max Verstappen has time and again reiterated that he is not a fan of chasing records, and prefers to take each day as it comes. Therefore, if push comes to shove, Verstappen might just retire well before his current Red Bull contract concludes.

While the chances of it happening anytime soon are slim, he might even take the leap as early as this year. That, of course, would require the things at Red Bull to go completely awry and beyond repairable damage.

This is because the Christian Horner controversy has still not come to an end. Despite the team boss’ call to the media to “move on“, the saga has continued. That is mainly because of the lack of transparency in the investigation that “dismissed the grievance” against Horner.

Mike Tyson was once the baddest man alive and for a reason! There were many that wanted to stand in his way to the top and he absolutely DESTROYED every single one of them in only seconds! Today we take a look at a prime Mike Tyson’s best performances.
‘I try not to get mad anymore’ – Mike Tyson offers insight into new mindset
Mike Tyson is a changed man. The Baddest Man on the Planet moniker looks to be a thing of the past for the ex-undisputed heavyweight champion.
Adopting his old nickname for a recent exhibition return against Roy Jones Jr. – Mike Tyson has firmly put it back to bed.
The once ‘Iron’ man of the sport, Tyson’s latest musings prove his life has gone from off the rails to newfound tranquility.
Whether his cannabis farm has anything to do with that, well, you’ll have to ask the man himself.
“When we’re born, there’s only a certain amount of time we have until we die,” said Tyson. “The question then becomes, what are you going to do with this time?
“In life, making mistakes is inevitable. But I learned that those same mistakes would later become the blueprint of success in our life.
“I ended up realizing that if anyone makes me mad, they own me. So, I try not to get mad anymore,” Tyson added.
MIKE TYSON RETIRED
Those poignant words come on the back of Tyson, stating he will never again step between the ropes to punch another opponent.
After a draw with Jones in 2020, his time is up after dealing with a company he claims still hasn’t paid him.
“I’m not even interested in doing this stuff,” he said with the Nelk Boys on Full Send Podcast. “It was just fun at first. If it was back when I first started, yes.
“We were both fighting on the same card and both active. Yeah, we could do it. But, it just turned, it just turned bad. It didn’t turn out right.
“Every, they say it’s 10, but it’s like every twelve, or thirteen months, boom, something’s missing. Like something’s missing.
“I’m losing muscle mass. Boom, it’s something. It’s always something different. And I don’t know. Guys want to fight me for a hundred million bucks.
“I don’t think I’ll ever do stuff like that anymore.
“I wanted to do it the first time just for fun to have fun. Then some people took it to another level and made it financial. Then the fun went out of it,” he concluded.
“You can totally tell he’s a girl dad”: Dwayne Johnson Asking for Consent to Drew Barrymore Wins Hearts Proving He’s Still the Perfect Gentleman
Dwayne Johnson’s gentlemanly act on Drew Barrymore’s show won the internet.
Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood at present. He found success as a professional wrestler before he ventured into the world of acting and, subsequently, business. Given his fame, Johnson is often invited to talk shows, and he made an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s show recently.
The interview with the Black Adam actor was a riot, as the two stars discussed a variety of subjects. One moment between them stood out, though, when Johnson asked for Barrymore’s consent before a particular act, and it has endeared the Rock to his fans even more. Drew Barrymore’s show has become a success since it aired (Source: The Drew Barrymore Show)
When Dwayne Johnson asked for Drew Barrymore’s consent
The Charlie’s Angels actress started her show, The Drew Barrymore Show, in 2020. In the four years since the first episode aired, Drew Barrymore has invited a host of her colleagues and other personalities from the industry.
The popularity of the show has risen through the years, and Dwayne Jonson appeared on the show last week. Barrymore welcomed the WWE star in a hilarious fashion, as she replicated one of Johnson’s iconic looks from the 1990s. The host wore a black turtleneck top, a pair of jeans, and a wig, completing the look with the trademark golden necklace and a fanny pack around her waist. Johnson has successfully forayed into the world of business. He was on the show to promote his new project, a collection of men’s skincare products called Papatui. As the two were engaged in a conversation, Barrymore pulled out a question from a fan in the fanny pack.
The fan asked the Rock if he could do five squats with Barrymore on his back. Johnson answered in the affirmative, and there was never any doubt in his ability to do so.
However, before Johnson hoisted Barrymore up on his shoulder, he informed her how he would be doing it. Even though Barrymore was enthusiastic about being lifted by the Rock, he also ensured that she was comfortable.
Dwayne Johnson’s act is winning the internet
The Rock is a class act, and he proved it once again on the show. Not only did Johnson explain to Barrymore how he would lift her, but he also double-checked with Barrymore afterward.
This exchange did not escape the fans, who were charmed by the Rock seeking consent. Comments poured in, all laudatory, of course. Johnson had to squat with Barrymore on his back (Source: Instagram, @thedrewbarrymoreshow) “The way the Rock asked for consent and explained what he was going to do before doing it, you can totally tell he’s a girl dad, bravo sir,” read one of the many comments under the post. “I love how he asked for consent and told you exactly where he was going to put his hands,” read another.
While it might seem like an inconspicuous act by Dwayne Johnson to many, it is a lesson in how consent works. Sometimes people can be certain of something in the moment but have every right to change their mind later.
