He grew tired of their antics after the young couple had a public spat which saw them “screaming and crying” at the Cannes Film Festival a fortnight ago.

A source close to the family said: “David’s got a tight bond with Brooklyn and it’s been worrying for him and Victoria to watch him arguing with Hana. They’ve been so up and down these past few weeks and David wants Brooklyn to have a serious think about whether he’s got a future with her.”

Since they started dating last December, Brooklyn and Hana have had several public rows in London and Los Angeles – and have split a few times before rekindling their romance.

David and Victoria, who celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary next month, have spent the past week on holiday with Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo and Harper in Miami. But while Hana is also in the US, she didn’t feature in the family’s cosy social media pictures.

The source added: “David has asked Brooklyn to spend more time with them all in a bid to get inside his head and help him. He knows that young love can be tough but he doesn’t want these public slanging matches to become a regular theme. Rather than interfering he’s trying to play it cool and just give Brooklyn some advice.

“But it seems pretty clear to everyone around him that David isn’t Hana’s biggest fan right now.”

Since Hana’s relationship first hit the skids, she’s been spending less time with the famous clan and even missed out on David’s 44th birthday celebrations last month.

It’s ultra-contemporary, packed with variety and totally unlike anything she has done before.

It wouldn’t be the first fuss Rob has caused over a tatt – he has also admitted upsetting Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Eleanor Calder when he messed up a design he inked on Louis’s forearm during the last series of The X Factor.

The lads were meant to give each other matching X’s but Louis said his looked more like a religious cross and he moaned at how deep Robbie stuck the tattoo gun into his arm.

Speaking on his video blog, Vloggie Williams, Robbie said: “I didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t mean to be not gentle on purpose. And then I got in trouble with his girlfriend like, ‘What have you done to my boyfriend?’ I think it looks ace.”

Prince Harry was eager to get to the stage of “marriage and kids” like Prince William, claims one royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary today, but one expert has suggested that he “rushed” into their marriage.

The couple had only been together for a little over a year when they go engaged at the end of 2017, with their royal wedding taking place on May 19, 2018.

Speaking to the Times Radio, royal expert Dickie Arbier said: “My own personal opinion is that he rushed into the marriage.”

Dicussing Harry’s previous relationships, he said that many of the girls he dated didn’t want to be “in a goldfish bowl” and that he wanted to be like his brother.

He added that Harry was keen to have “marriage and kids” like William, who married Princess Kate back in 2011.

As reported by the Mirror, Mr Arbiter also adds that if Princess Diana were still alive at the time of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, Harry wouldn’t be where he is now. Speaking to the Radio Times two months ago, Mr Arbiter said: “If Diana had been alive, I’m going to stick my neck out here, and I doubt Harry would have married Meghan.”

He added: “Diana was very careful about her boys, they were her boys. She protected them, and she would have protected them against anybody she felt wasn’t the right person.”

The couple are likely to be celebrating their anniversary in private in the US, according to former royal butler Grant Harrold. Speaking to Fruity Slots, he explained: “Celebrations will probably be behind closed doors, maybe a dinner party with some friends or maybe with some friends or maybe just the two of them.”

Harry and Meghan have since welcomed two children together – Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, who will turn three next month.

Prince Harry’s former best mate has sparked speculation of a deep rift after joining forces with Meghan Markle’s “arch-nemesis”, Jeremy Clarkson.

The former Top Gear presenter caused a stir in 2022 with his scathing piece in The Sun, where he expressed his hatred for the Ducess of Sussex.

In his controversial column, Clarkson went as far as to say he fantasised about Meghan being paraded naked through the streets, a comment that was later condemned as sexist by the press watchdog.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex condemned the piece, which The Sun subsequently pulled, accusing it of fuelling “hate rhetoric”, along with “dangerous conspiracy theories and misogyny”.

Yet, it appears one of Prince Harry’s oldest confidants may have turned his back on him, as Hugh van Cutsem, a lifelong friend to both Harry and Prince William, appeared on Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm.

Van Cutsem was featured hunting deer with Clarkson in the seventh episode, hinting that the 49 year old may be the latest in Harry’s circle to part ways with the Royal.

Hugh’s father, who shares the same name, was a long-time friend of King Charles from their days at the University of Cambridge back in the 1960s.

Following suit, their children struck up a friendly bond, evidenced when William played a role in Hugh’s 2005 wedding as senior usher and accepted the godfather role for Grace, the child of Hugh and Rose Astor, reports the Mirror.

Notably, Grace served as bridesmaid at the celebrated 2011 wedding of William and Catherine.

When actress Meghan moved to the UK in 2017, the van Cutsem family extended their warmth to her and blessed the Sussexes with their presence at their 2018 nuptials.

However, the smooth sailing friendship hit a rough patch two years later.

Rose found herself tangled in a controversy after she poked fun at Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their Royal duties via a tongue-in-cheek social media post: “I am standing back as a senior member of my tax return because I’d rather drink coffee, see my friends, love my family and do yoga.”

Eventually, she offered an apology and added a cryptic statement: “I can’t say anything. I’m sure you understand. I’m going to be in so much trouble.”

The dad-of-two opened up about his falling out with old pal Hugh in his autobiography Spare, sharing that his wife Emilie had reached out to him after their explosive sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

“Several close mates and beloved figures in my life, including one of Hugh and Emilie’s sons, Emilie herself, and even Tiggy [Pettifer, his former nanny], had chastised me for Oprah. How could you reveal such things? About your family?” he recounted.

It gets so much that he stay up and polishes the family’s candles long after everyone has gone to bed.

The superstar has given more details about his mental health condition after previously opening up about his battles.

David, 47, previously told fans he needs to keep everything in straight lines or pairs – but his issues actually run much deeper.

In a new Netflix series, the ex England captain spoke of his determination to make things perfect at the family’s plush £25million mansion in Holland Park, and says he knows it is ‘weird’.

OCD – a mental health condition where a person has obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours – impacts millions of people around the world.

Around 750,000 are thought to be living with severe, life-impacting and debilitating condition in the UK and the football icon is one of them.

“I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s actually appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty,” he said in a preview for the series.

“The fact that when everyone’s in bed I then go around, clean the candles, turn the lights on to the right setting, make sure everywhere is tidy.

“I hate coming down in the morning and there’s cups and plates and, you know, bowls. It’s tiring going around every single candle cleaning it.

“I clip the candle wax, I clean the glass, that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of a candle.

He confessed: “I know, it’s weird.”

Wife Victoria tells the Netflix crew: “He’s just so perfect” before telling David he is “appreciated” by the clan.

But he then bit back: “Don’t believe that for a second. She sounds so sarcastic when she says it.”

In an interview with ITV in 2006, the footballer explained some of his mental battles.

“I have got this disorder where I have to have everything in a straight line or everything has to be in pairs,” he said.

“I’ll put my Pepsi cans in the fridge and if there’s one too many then I’ll put it in another cupboard somewhere. I’ll go into a hotel room and before I can relax, I have to move all the leaflets and all the books and put them in a drawer.”

Posh added: “He’s got that obsessive-compulsive thing where everything has to match. If you open our fridge, it’s all coordinated down either side.

“We’ve got three fridges, food in one, salad in another and drinks in the third. In the drinks one, everything is symmetrical. If there’s three cans, he’ll throw one away because it has to be an even number.”

Netflix say the new programme will look at his life from his working-class roots in east London to taking the world by storm.

It is being made by his own production company, Studio 99.

He said on Instagram : “I’m excited to confirm that I am partnering with @Netflix on a documentary series about my life and career.

“The series will feature unseen archive, untold stories as well as interviews with the people who have been a part of my journey.

“The series is directed and produced by Academy Award winners @fisherstevens and John Battsek. Watch this space… @studio99.”

Jennie Bond says Prince Harry is ready to forgive and make amends with his estranged family.

Prince Harry is ready to reconcile with the Royal Family but King Charles and Prince William appear to be resisting efforts, a leading royal commentator has claimed. Relations between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, have been strained since the pair stepped back from royal duties and went on to make a series of allegations against the Firm in their Netflix docu-series, Harry’s memoir Spare and in TV interviews.

Asked who is hampering efforts at reconciliation between the Duke of Sussex and the Windsors, the BBC’s former royal correspondent Jennie Bond told Times Radio it doesn’t appear to be coming from Harry.

She said: “Early on it was Harry, who was demanding an apology. There was going to be no meeting of minds or meeting in reality until there was an apology for the affronts he thought had been made to his wife. But now I think the tables have turned somewhat. Messages coming from Harry’s side are that he’s ready at least to forgive and that he loves his family. He’s said that quite publicly. He wants to see more of them.

“But it is Charles and William who seem to be resisting reconciliation at this point so I think it was first one, then the other.”

Quizzed on whether that chimed with what is known about William’s character, Ms Bond said once the Prince of Wales has set his mind on something it would be very hard to dissuade him.

She added that as the years go by she hoped there would be a reconciliation, saying time can be a healer, but can also lead to people feeling entrenched in their positions.

The comments came after Harry visited London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games but saw neither his brother nor his father.

King Charles on Sunday (May 19) paid tribute to the sacrifices made by allied forces as he marked the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino.

Charles called for reflection on the courage of the men and women whose actions in central Italy enabled the landings in Normandy a few weeks later.

Meghan Markle’s ‘first mistake’ as a working royal before it all went downhill

Meghan Markle made her “first mistake” as a working member of the Royal Family back in 2019, claims journalist Liz Jones.

In her column for dailymail.co.uk, Ms Jones openly admits she was a fan of the former actress at the time of her royal wedding.

But her time as a fan “cooled” when Meghan visited sex workers in Bristol at the start of 2019 – and mostly notably wrote messages on bananas for them.

Ms Jones wrote: “It was Bananagate, when Meghan, still a working Royal, visited sex workers in Bristol, scrawling positive mantras on fruit.”

Some fans think Lionel Messi was ignored by David Beckham after the two pair of footballing superstars linked up at Paris Saint-Germain’s training ground.

Former England captain Beckham spent time in the French capital this week and returned to his former team, who he played 14 times at the very end of his glittering career.

He met with Christophe Galtier’s star-studded squad and posed for pictures with the likes of Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Marco Verratti – the only surviving player from when Beckham plied his trade at the Parc des Princes.

Beckham spoke with staff members at the Camp des Loges facility and took a picture from the entire PSG squad ahead of their clash with Lorient on Sunday.

The Manchester United legend was also presented with a shirt containing his name and the No.32 – the exact number he sported at the club.

But while Beckham was all smiles next to Messi, who has been linked with a move to his MLS franchise Inter Miami, some fans have spotted what they believe to be an awkward moment.

Just before Beckham was snapped with Messi and Verratti, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner had his hand out and one claimed he was going for a handshake that did not arrive.

“I love how Beckham ignored Messi’s handshake,” he wrote.

But another fired back, writing: “You have to be blind to see that it’s not a hand shake. He’s pointing towards the camera for the picture.”

However, it should be noted that a second video shows Beckham telling Messi “Congratulations” and the pair sharing a warm embrace.

The 47-year-old has regularly waxed lyrical about the Argentine ace and once said, “I probably decided to retire when Messi was running past me”.

Beckham only had a short-term deal with PSG and donated his entire wages to a local children’s charity. His final game was on May 18th and he received an emotional send-off when subbed off in the 81st minute of his last ever game.

Accompanied by best pal Dave Gaгdneг the 43-yeaг-old staг was photogгaphed having a good time as they hit events at Miami’s Aгt Basel event.

Beckham co-hosted the glitzy Adidas and Bгitish Fashion Coυncil bash on Thυгsday, with gυests inclυding Maгc Anthony, Phaггell Williams and A$ap Feгg, as well as 49-yeaг-old Chгistensen.

In one photogгaph his hand – complete with wife Victoгia’s name tattoo – is seen on Helena’s back at they chatted at the Adidas paгty at Soho Hoυse.

While he told a gυest: “Miami has become a second home to me.”

The athlete is owneг and pгesident of opeгations foг the Miami Majoг Leagυe Socceг’s Clυb Inteгnacional de Fútbol Miami.

He is expected to fly back to Gгeat Bгitain to spend Chгistmas and the New Yeaг with his wife and kids.

David Beckham is “proud” of his son Romeo after he earned a move to Premier League side Brentford.

Romeo, 20, has joined Brentford B on loan from MLS club Inter Miami for the remainder of the season. The right-midfielder has trained with the Bees since the end of the 2022 MLS Next Pro season, where Inter Miami’s reserve side plays.

But he impressed enough to earn a short-term move to the English top flight – which marks a significant step up from playing for his dad’s club. And the Manchester United legend was full of praise on social media following the announcement on Friday.

David took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Romeo holding up a Brentford shirt in front of the club’s performance centre.

He captioned it: “Exciting start to the year. Now the hard work and fun begins. Proud of you mate @romeobeckham.”

Brentford B head coach Neil MacFarlane also lauded the youngster by highlighting his technical ability and crossing – something which his father was famous for at United, Real Madrid and AC Milan.

MacFarlane said: “We’ve been absolutely delighted with Romeo since he arrived with us. He came to us from Inter Miami with the aim of working with us during their close season.

“Romeo has applied himself unbelievably well, he’s really bought into the culture and the group which he has become a big part of.

“I love his standards and the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch. He’s been able to get fitter and fitter during his time with us and it leaves him in a good place to now step forward having joined us on loan.

“He is very technical, and he is somebody who can shift the ball quickly and cross. He is also a really good finisher and he has the ability to play a number of positions for us, which is also pleasing.”

Romeo and his brothers Brooklyn and Cruz were once all on Arsenal’s books. The midfielder was released in 2014, after which he took a five-year absence from the sport.

The couple, who left Abuja yesterday following a three-day visit, were pictured being whisked away by a car at Los Angeles International Airport’s ‘Private Suites’ facility.

The Duke and Duchess have called the semi-royal tour ‘fantastic’ and said it will be the ‘first of many memorable trips’ – which included a moment where Meghan hailed Nigeria as ‘her country’ after a DNA test suggested she was part-Nigerian.

They landed back in the United States a few hours before Californian authorities confirmed a ‘delinquency’ row involving their charitable endeavour, the Archewell Foundation, had been resolved following confusion over an unprocessed cheque.

California‘s Department of Justice listed the charity, which brought in around $9million (£7.1million) less in donations in 2022 than it did the year before, as ‘not in good standing’ because of an alleged failure to pay a $200 renewal fee.

There have been eight press releases on Sussex.com about the couple’s visit to Nigeria, which took them to Abuja and Lagos and ran last week from Friday until Sunday. None mentioned the issues with the Archewell foundation.

In a press release about their trip coming to end, the Sussexes referred to the reception they received in Lagos and their attendance at a polo match.

The statement said: ‘Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex concluded their unforgettable trip to Nigeria with a cultural reception in Lagos and a polo match fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

‘The couple was greeted with a beautiful pre-game parade – a vibrant display of young enthusiasts in polo gear, proudly waving the green and white flags of Nigeria – followed by a procession of older children on horseback, setting the tone for a day filled with sport and spirit.

‘The friendly rivalry between the teams, aptly named Duke vs Duchess, added a layer of excitement to the event, with the Duchess’s team claiming victory with a score of 5-3. The day was capped off with the couple presenting medals, a gesture of appreciation for the players’ prolific talent and dedication.

‘The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organisers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.’

But as they landed, Archewell was involved in a row over its charitable status after it was accused of failing to send a $200 renewal fee cheque to California’s Registry of Charities and Fundraisers.

The registry said Archewell had failed to submit its annual report or renewal fees, while sources close to the Sussexes insisted it was because the Attorney General’s office did not process a $200 cheque they previously thought lost in the post.

Since then, the charity says it has been in touch with California’s Department of Justice (DoJ), which operates the registry, to clear up the confusion.

The DoJ says it considers the matter closed and that, as of now, the Archewell Foundation is ‘current and in good standing’ with Californian authorities.

A letter from California’s Registry of Charities and Fundraisers had previously warned: ‘An organisation that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds.

‘The organisation may also be subject to penalties and its registration may be suspended or revoked by the Registry.

‘Once you submit the delinquent record(s), you will be notified of the amount of any late fees that are owed.’

But Sussex sources claimed the ‘delinquency notice’ was actually issued because Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office did not process the $200 cheque.

This was a different explanation to the one offered by the same Sussex sources last night, who claimed that the paperwork was filed on time but the discrepancy was down to a cheque which accompanied the documents going missing in the post.

It is understood that conflicting claims regarding what had happened coming from Archewell this week over the Department of Justice’s issuing of a notice of ‘delinquency’ was in part down to many of the Sussexes team travelling in Nigeria.

The sources say payments were made promptly and ‘in accordance with’ the IRS’s processes and procedures and paperwork filed correctly, ‘without error or wrongdoing’.

They added that records proved the required payment of $200 was delivered last November via tracked post.

A search of the registry confirms the organisation’s status with the DoJ is ‘current’. Its most recent renewal documents were marked as being received today.

In a written statement issued to MailOnline, the California DoJ said: ‘After being in touch with our Registry of Charities and Fundraisers, the organization is current and in good standing.’

The $200 cheque was for an annual registration renewal fee, which is determined by a sliding scale based on an organisation’s total revenue.

In Archewell’s case, its most recent revenue was about $2million – putting it within the ‘between $1,000,001 and $5 million’ section of the sliding scale.

The $200 figure has been confirmed to MailOnline by a source close to the Sussexes.

Harry and Meghan’s three-day visit to Abuja and Lagos in Nigeria was dubbed a royal tour in all but name, with the couple given the VIP treatment by the Nigerian authorities.

The tour, from Friday until Sunday, saw the couple visiting with charities and initiatives that promote looking after the mental health and wellbeing of soldiers and empower young people.

Appearing at an event on women in leadership without Harry, in the Nigerian capital of Abuja, the duchess said: ‘I want to start by saying thank you very much for just how gracious you’ve all been in welcoming my husband and I to this country… my country.’

The visit also saw the Duke visit Kaduna to meet wounded and injured service members at a military hospital – including two men seen at last year’s Invictus Games.

And the couple visited Nigeria: Unconquered, the charity supported by the friendly polo match, which supports wounded, injured and sick service members in Nigeria that is partnered with the Invictus Games Foundation.

Harry even had time to join in a game of sitting volleyball – one of a number of modified sports that forms part of the Invictus Games programme.

The foundation is separate from the couple’s Archewell media and business divisions which have been involved in the Netflix and Spotify productions.

According to tax filings disclosed by Archewell last December, the organisation had suffered an $11million (£9million) decline in donations in 2022 compared to the previous year.

The records showed that the charity received just over $2million (£1.6million) in charitable donations in 2022 compared to $13million (£10million) in 2021.

And while in 2021 Archewell had reported a revenue of more than $9million (£7million), the December 2023 filings showed that by 2022 it had recorded a loss of more than $674,000 (£537,000) due to costs of $2.67million (£2.13million).

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted at one of their favourite restaurants in their hometown of Montecito, Lucky’s, an upmarket steakhouse where a 28oz porterhouse steak costs $175 and a side of hash browns will set you back $15.

The couple were joined by their friends, Paramount boss Brian Robbins and his wife Tracey, who works as a designer.

The couple had a great time on the trip to Nigeria and said they left the country ‘very happy’ and hoped to be back ‘soon.’

The Duke and Duchess said they wanted to plan more tours for the future and Harry added that it was important to meet directly with people, rather than speaking with them online.
