BREAKING Meghan Markle's Engagement Ring Tops List as Most-Searched in the World .Worth a staggering amount ?

More than six years after Prince Harry’s proposal, Meghan Markle’s engagement ring continues to captivate attention.

The Duchess of Sussex’s three-stone diamond sparkler is the most-searched celebrity engagement ring in the world, according to a new study from U.K. jeweler Ramsden’s Jewellery. The findings analyzed global search volume data from the past 12 months, and an aggregated average revealed that Meghan’s ring drove about 51,283 searches a month.

Second on the list was Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire and diamond ring, which Meghan’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton wears today, with 22,100 average global monthly searches, followed by Megan Fox, Millie Bobby Brown and Hailey Bieber in the top five.

Meghan, 42, typically wears her engagement ring stacked with her Welsh gold wedding ring and eternity band, which she received as an anniversary gift from Harry in 2019. Last year, she switched up her style and stopped wearing her engagement ring for a short time, including at the latest Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, in September 2023.

PEOPLE understands Meghan’s engagement ring was being serviced because a setting came loose.

On Valentine’s Day, Meghan was photographed again with the ring on her finger at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go countdown in British Columbia, Canada. She wore the tri-stone sparkler with her two other go-to bands, and sported the same combo during her recent trip to Nigeria with Prince Harry in May.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, famously designed his wife’s engagement ring with Cleave and Company, the jewelers to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The ring features an ethically sourced center gem from Botswana, where he and Meghan romantically camped together early in their courtship, flanked by two smaller diamonds from his mother Princess Diana’s personal collection.

During their engagement interview with the BBC in November 2017, Harry said he incorporated his late mother’s jewels “to make sure that she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”

Meghan praised the thoughtful inspiration and said, “It’s beautiful, and he designed it, it’s incredible.”

The couple went on to tie the knot in May 2018, and royal watchers spotted a glittering addition to the ring when she and Prince Harry introduced their firstborn, Prince Archie, to the world in May 2019

The Duchess of Sussex appeared to have had the trio of diamonds reset from the original solid yellow gold band to a thin micro-pavé band, creating a subtle change.

Meghan is known to accessorize with jewelry, and wore a new piece from that previously belonged to Princess Diana during her three-day trip to Nigeria.

PEOPLE exclusively revealed that the diamond cross necklace Meghan wore to a reception for military families on May 11 was a recent gift from Prince Harry, and once belonged to the late Princess of Wales.

Fans discovered Anthony Joshua’s attitude seemed ‘hesitant’ about Tyson Fury’s 60-40 purse split offer by Tony Bellew

Anthony Joshua should hold out for a 50-50 per cent purse split in order to fight Tyson Fury, according to former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew.

The Gypsy king has claimed that he has offered Joshua a 60-40 split of the purse in an attempt to get his British counterpart to fight him this winter.

Joshua must decide today whether or not he will accept Fury’s offer and take up the fight at Cardiff‘s Principality Stadium in November as he looks to recover from back-to-back defeats to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

Tony Bellew (pictured) has told Anthony Joshua to be hesitant about Tyson Fury’s proposal

Joshua has lost his last to fights back-to-back against Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk

The fight, if it happens, is expected to break records in terms of pay-per-view buys in the opinion of Fury’s promoter Frank Warren.

However, Bellew says that Joshua should be hesitant to accept the current terms put forward by Fury as, like Irishman Conor McGregor in UFC, he is still ‘the biggest draw’ in boxing.

He told talkSPORT: ‘AJ is the biggest draw in the heavyweight division. It doesn’t matter if he’s lost twice, he’s still the biggest draw.

Tyson Fury (pictured) has offered Anthony Joshua a purse split of 60-40 in order to fight him

‘Yes, he’s coming off the back of two defeats, but why is the best fighter in the world [Fury] calling his name? Why does he want to face him? You’ve got to ask that question.

‘When you start putting out offers and saying, ‘I’ll give you 60-40…’ I’m not being funny guys but people like Conor McGregor, people like Anthony Joshua, they don’t bow to other people’s demands because the draw they bring is so big.

‘You can’t lowball a guy that generates what he generates. It’s madness.

Bellew says that Joshua has the same draw in boxing as Conor McGregor (pictured) has in UFC

‘This guy [Joshua] took boxing to Saudi Arabia. Just remember that. It’s never been there before.

‘He has a lot of power to his hand. There’s a reason why he’s being called out.

‘He’s coming off two defeats, yet Tyson Fury is calling his name. So if you’re going to be reasonable and say this is 50-50, I think it would be crazy not to take it.

Joshua (pictured) must decide today whether or not to take up Tyson Fury’s offer to fight

‘But at 60-40, if I was him, I’d be hesitant because you bring a lot to the table, probably more than the champion himself.

‘This guy [Fury] has given up the most respected belt of them all. He’s no longer the Ring heavyweight champion. The reason he gave that up is because he changes his mind every five minutes.

‘When Anthony Joshua announces a fight, he’s the biggest draw in the heavyweight division. That’s why the guys in Saudi want him.’

The Past Villain: Boxing fans have fumed after Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury was served a crippling blow by Oleksandr Usyk

Oleksandr Usyk not only returns to Ukraine with Anthony Joshua‘s IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA belts having silenced the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a boxing masterclass, but he also leaves the biggest fight in a generation in ruins.

Joshua, 31, had been expected to come through the challenge of the wily Ukrainian and move a step closer to a £200million mega-fight with Tyson Fury, having seen their match up fall through over the summer.

However, AJ had no answer for the former unified cruiserweight champion’s surgical precision and speed, with the 34-year-old dominating in front of a one-sided crowd in North London.

Boxing fans have fumed after Anthony Joshua v Tyson Fury was served a crippling blow

Joshua’s second reign as heavyweight champion has ended after defeat by Oleksandr Usyk

With that, Usyk has served a crippling blow to any hopes of a long-awaited clash between Joshua and Fury – a fight dubbed the biggest in British boxing.

Joshua’s second career defeat puts that fight well out of reach, while Tyson Fury puts his WBC title on the line in a trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder in two weeks.

And fans have taken to Twitter to bemoan the ramifications of Joshua’s devastating defeat to Usyk.

‘That’s it – Fury v AJ is dead,’ one fan posted. ‘Boxing did a boxing. A mandatory killed off the biggest fight in a generation.’

Joshua was outsmarted by the wily Ukrainian who won the fight via unanimous decision

The result means that Usyk takes ownership of Joshua’s IBO, WBO, IBF and WBO titles

Usyk was Joshua’s mandatory challenger for the WBO belt, with the boxing organisation insistent on the Brit fulfilling his obligation to face the Ukrainian – although they had agreed for AJ to take on Fury first.

‘Well AJ vs Fury is dead. For f*** sake,’ another boxing fan wrote. ‘So annoyed that has deaded AJ vs Fury,’ one supporter posted. ‘I prefer Usyk but really wanted to see that fight.’

Boxing politics has long blighted the biggest fights, with fans made to wait for years before Floyd Mayweather took on Manny Pacquiao. One fan predicted that Joshua v Fury will not happen until 2025.

‘We won’t see AJ vs Fury til year 2025 now… ruined it.’

It also means that a heavyweight super fight with Tyson Fury is some distance from reality

And boxing fans took to Twitter to bemoan the ramifications of Joshua’s defeat by Usyk

Meanwhile, one fan opined that boxing’s ‘flawed’ system is the reason for AJ v Fury falling through, suggesting that the sport could take a leaf from MMA’s books.

Promoters cooked Fury-Joshua too long, now it’s ruined,’ @dannyseguaratv said.

‘We often criticize MMA for not building up fights like boxing does, but boxing’s system has its flaws. Clearly shown tonight. Congrats to Usyk and also to the judges for not robbing him.’

Joshua did not give a post-fight interview following his unanimous decision defeat, but took to social media to insist he is remaining ‘positive’ despite ‘the world crumbling’.

AJ’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, says Joshua is intent on activating his rematch clause with Usyk

‘Keep positive even if the world’s crumbling in front of you!’ he wrote. ‘London I love you & thank you each and every time!’

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, revealed that the defeated champion is intending on activating his rematch clause as he bids to sit at the heavyweight summit a third time.

‘I spoke to him, obviously it was tough fight, gruelling fight, he’s not quite talking the way you’d expect at the moment,’ he told Sky Sports. ‘[He] wants to train straight away, they are looking at the eye socket. A devastating defeat, congrats to Oleksandr Usyk the better fighter won.

‘No complaints from AJ, he will come again. We have been here before, [but] that [Andy Ruiz Jr loss] was different. He was beaten by a better man on the night.

‘The fighter in AJ is saying “I will win the rematch”. I had it reasonably close in the eighth round but then Usyk ran away with it. Usyk was the deserved winner and he’s got to make changes for the rematch.’

Tyson Fury Provides Unconventional Response Regarding Anthony Joshua’s Boxing Progress.

Joshua is waiting his turn for the aftermath while Fury prepares for Usyk.

On Wednesday, Tyson Fury made his rounds with the media in anticipation of his May 18 matchup with Oleksandr Usyk.

Even though Usyk is the main subject, Anthony Joshua was brought up. Joshua, who has already lost to Usyk twice, may very probably go up against the winner of Fury-Usyk.

Anthony Joshua gets called a “fat sausage” by Tyson Fury.I appreciate you seeing.

Whether or if Fury defeats Usyk, a bout with Fury might be in the works, and it sounds like Fury is actively promoting that one. Fury referred to Joshua as a “useless sausage” at first.

Even Fury himself stated that, after the Usyk fights, he expects to face Joshua twice.

He then followed up later by claiming there’s no bad blood between the two boxers. But then he delivered an eyebrow-raising quote when prompted on what he thinks of Joshua’s recent improvement since hiring a new trainer.

“I don’t know, it’s not like he’s my boyfriend is it? Like I’m studying him every night like, ‘Oh my god I like your muscles, man.’ I’ve got my own wife and kids to look after, not focus on other men’s careers.”

Fury loves delivering ear-catching quotes, and that was certainly one of them. If he’s set to fight Usyk and Joshua a total of four times combined over the next couple of years, we’ll be in for many more great quotes.

  • Anthony Joshua will have ‘another blackout’ and get stopped by Tyson Fury in their £200million showdown.

Anthony Joshua will have ‘another blackout’ and get stopped by Tyson Fury in their £200million showdown.

Anthony Joshua will have ‘another blackout’ and get stopped by Tyson Fury in their £200million showdown.

That is according to legendary trainer Teddy Atlas, who feels Fury could expose Joshua similarly to how Andy Ruiz Jr did in the sole defeat of his professional career.

The unified champion is set to fight British rival Fury later this summer after the pair  finally signed off on the first of their two heavyweight blockbusters last week.

Teddy Atlas is backing Tyson Fury to defeat Anthony Joshua in their £200m heavyweight fight

Atlas believes Joshua could have ‘another blackout’ like he did when he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr

Atlas, who helped train Mike Tyson during the early days of his career, is backing Fury to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in the early 2000s because he has ‘a better chin’ and ‘can do more things’ than Joshua.

Speaking on The Fight with Teddy Atlas podcast, the 64-year-old said: ‘I think Fury could stop him.

‘I like AJ, he’s a good fighter, he’s got good talent, he’s had a great comeback. I like all that.

‘I’m not going to say he has a China chin, I’m not going to say that. But, I’m gonna say Fury has a better chin.

‘And I’m going to say he’s been to dark places when he got stopped by Ruiz. He being Joshua. He went to dark places.

AJ bounced back by beating Ruiz Jr before successfully defending them against Kubrat Pulev

Atlas praised AJ’s ‘comeback’ but says he could be dragged back into a dark place again

‘Now he found a light and he lit the room up and he’s back into a place that’s lit. I just don’t think he’s that far away from a power shortage.

‘I think there could be a blackout again, where his confidence [goes].

‘When I say the electricity, the light, I attach it to confidence, belief, mental strength and durability.

‘I think that a blackout could happen in that generator of his again. He’s not far from removed from being taken back to no lights.

    ‘So I’m going with Fury.’

The Hall-of-Fame coach added: ‘And Fury, all the things he can do in the ring.

The ex-coach of Mike Tyson said AJ is a big puncher and refused to rule him out completely

But is going with Fury to win as he has shown he ‘has a better chin and is more versatile’

‘He showed me he can go get you now and he can box and pot shot and move.

‘So I’m going to go with [Fury]. Joshua can punch, Joshua’s a banger. He gets into position, but he’s going to have to get into that position.

‘Because Fury is more versatile, Fury has more say because he can do more things.

‘He can control the outside if he wants and not make it so easy for Joshua to get into his geography so to speak, which I like to talk about.

‘But, it’s going to be a humongous fight.’

  • Tyson Fury Encourages Anthony Joshua to Maintain Winning Streak in Anticipation of Potential Future Showdown

Tyson Fury Encourages Anthony Joshua to Maintain Winning Streak in Anticipation of Potential Future Showdown

Tyson Fury has made it clear that if his fellow Briton “keeps going and keeps winning,” fighting Anthony Joshua will be a part of his next bout schedule.

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has won four times after losing to Oleksandr Usyk twice in 2021 and 2022. His most recent victory came last month in Riyadh via second-round knockout over former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou.

Fury, the WBC champion, is getting ready to face Usyk, the WBA, IBF, and WBO champion, on May 18 at the same location in an attempt to become the century’s first undisputed heavyweight champion.

In response, Fury told the PA news agency, “Yeah, for sure-if he keeps going and keeps winning, like I’m going to keep doing.” Joshua is undoubtedly a factor in what comes after that.

“In any case, even if we were fifty years old and still made an incredible amount of money, AJ and I could still fight at Wembley,” he continued. That seems like true facts to me.

Fury talked about five fights in February, shortly after the fight with Usyk was rescheduled for May. These fights included two with Usyk, a rematch with Joshua (perhaps twice), and a rematch with Ngannou, whom he defeated by split decision in October.

That was “just the start,” according to Fury.Five battles to pique your interest.

Over the next few years, Fury hinted at a desire to fight five to ten times (Owen Humphreys/PA).

Turki Alalshikh, a Saudi advisor who has assisted in organizing significant boxing events, stated during a phone call that was replayed over a top-table microphone during a press conference in Morecambe on Wednesday that he wanted Tyson to compete for five, seven, or ten more fights.

Fury then said to PA, “Ten-fight plan.” Not bad for ten fights for more than a billion dollars, is it?

When they fought in October of last year, Fury, who claimed to think Joshua “did really well” against Ngannou, was taken out by the mixed martial artist in the third round.

About that competition, he remarked, “Just a fight.” I had a good night and a good training camp.

My bank account and all the titles I’ve acquired throughout the years are sufficient evidence of my achievement.Fury Tyson

“That’s how it’s always been—I go somewhere, do my work, get paid, leave, and come home—and I’ve been successful at doing that throughout my career.”

The fight between Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), another undefeated fighter, was originally set for February 17, but it was rescheduled fifteen days earlier after the former sustained a gash above his right eye during sparring.

Fury at Wednesday’s press conference described himself as being in “fantastic shape” and expressed his confidence he will defeat Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight champion who made his heavyweight debut in 2019, stressing that “size really matters”.

The 35-year-old added that it was “my time, my destiny, my era and my generation”.

Fury said a fight with Anthony Joshua is part of his future plans (Owen Humphreys/PA)

And when asked if the fight was an opportunity to prove a point to people, he told PA: “I don’t really have to prove much to anybody to be honest. My bank balance alone proves I’m a success, and all the titles I’ve won along the way.

“I’m not really proving anybody wrong or right any more, I’m just doing it for the fun and love of the game really.

“I could have retired maybe 10 years ago and lived a very nice life. However, I do it because, let’s face facts, I don’t really have much else to do other than taking the kids to school, emptying the bins and picking up dog s**t.

“But other than that, boxing is my love. I’ll continue to do it until I can’t do any more.”

Tyson Fury Poised to Make Boxing History as Potential Boxing’s First Billionaire, Unveils Projected Earnings from Anthony Joshua Bout

Additionally, Gypsy King provided a venue for the Battle of Britain battle.

With two fights against Anthony Joshua to boot, Tyson Fury asserted he is well on his way to being the first billionaire in boxing history.

Throughout his career, the Gypsy King has accumulated a fortune, having cleared well over £100 million.

According to Tyson Fury, he is expected to become the first billionaire in boxing.

Anthony Joshua is eager to take on Fury in combat.

And he is set to deepen his pockets even more when he faces Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

The historic first four-belt unification bout also includes a rematch clause to all-but guarantee two blockbuster paydays.

And Fury, 35, said: “Absolutely unbelievable. I’m definitely on course to becoming the first boxing billionaire, for sure…

“I’m on course for it and I’m looking forward to it. I’m delighted by all the good news that keeps coming my way…

“I’m not cheap – I’m probably the highest-paid escort in Morecambe! I’m not cheap, I’m not cheap.

“But if you want something good, you have to pay for it. I can’t get a new car from the agent and pay pennies for it – it’s going to cost me.”

Joshua, 34, is patiently waiting the outcome of Fury’s undisputed title decider with Usyk, 37.

There are hopes if the WBC champion prevails that AJ can slot in for a mammoth Battle of Britain bout later in the year.

But with so much money on offer in the Middle East, there are fears the domestic dust-up will be resigned to an away day.

And Fury – who appeared to reveal the joint prize pot will be £200million – admitted Wembley would be more fitting for the rematch.

He said: “If you’re paying £200million for something, you’re going to do it in someone else’s country? Doubt that.

“Maybe the rematch. But the way I look at it: Joshua is an old dosser and has to wait his turn.”

I’m not cheap – I’m probably the highest-paid escort in Morecambe! I’m not cheap, I’m not cheap.

    Tyson Fury

Fury is believed to have made around £60m for his trilogy series against Deontay Wilder, 38.

And in his last bout, against MMA star Francis Ngannou, 37, he walked away with a reported £40m.

Fury boasted of wanting TEN more fights in his career as he aims to break into the billions.

Tyson Fury has teased Anthony Joshua after calling off their heavyweight showdown

Tyson Fury has teased Anthony Joshua after calling off their heavyweight showdown – joking that Oleksandr Usyk could ‘lend him his nuts’ after he offered to train his British rival for a potential fight against the Gypsy King.

Fury and Joshua looked to be on a collision course at last after the WBC world champion offered the struggling fighter a title shot at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 3 – with the Watford-born star agreeing to a 60/40 split.

But Fury grew tired of waiting for Joshua to return his contract after his promoters Matchroom agonised over small details – and talks with broadcasters also took time – leaving the fight in tatters and the unbeaten heavyweight now seeking to face Mahmoud Charr instead.

Tyson Fury has stuck the boot into Anthony Joshua after Oleksandr Usyk offered to train him

Fury claims he has moved on from a mega fight with AJ after his failure to return his contract

Before Fury claimed the fight was off, Usyk – who outpointed Joshua in Saudi Arabia in August – offered to train AJ for his showdown, something the Gypsy King has now pounced on, as he goaded both men.

He also warned Usyk not to be a ‘p***y like your pal’ after the Ukrainian said he wouldn’t face Fury until next year.

Writing on Twitter alongside the story about Usyk offering to train AJ, Fury wrote: ‘Maybe you can lend him your nuts middleweight?! Usyk, don’t be a p***y like your big pal!’

Usyk said he was happy to travel to Joshua’s camp to help him prepare for a fight with Fury

Usyk overcame Joshua in their rematch in Saudi Arabia in August, winning on a split decision

Speaking last month, Usyk urged AJ not to give up despite his disappointing split decision defeat to him on August 20.

‘If he needs my help, I will go to his camp and help him,’ he said, speaking to Sky Sports. ‘He is not 40 years old, he is 33, so he should keep working – Anthony, don’t stop. I understand that he wanted to win against me, but Anthony can’t give up. He must go forward.’

His manager Alex Krassyuk added: ‘He said if needed he might come and give him a couple of [pieces of] advice.’

Usyk himself is still hoping to face Fury despite his taunts and confirmed this week they are still holding talks about a possible undisputed showdown – with Fury putting his WBC belt on the line and hoping to take the Ukrainian’s WBO, WBA and IBF belts.

Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn (L) have been assessing a contract sent to them by Fury’s team but have exhausted the patience of the WBC champion

‘I don’t know anything about what Tyson Fury is doing or thinking,’ he told Parimatch.

‘We’re in negotiations talking about a match and we’re doing our best to make this bout happen.

‘Of course, I really want to have this fight next year. But, if Tyson Fury is not interested in a match next year, then it’s not possible to fight against him. I’m not interested in fighting any other boxer, so let’s wait.

‘He’s talking about £500million pounds for the fight. He’s a lunatic, but in a good sense I mean. I’d also want £500m, but it’s something crazy.’

Fury has been calling out a number of fighters in recent weeks, despite seemingly retiring this summer, but left a number of boxing fans crushed when he walked away from talks with Joshua after ten days of not returning his contract.

He said AJ could ‘forget about’ an all-British showdown after missing the 5pm deadline he set on Monday evening.

‘Well guys, it’s official: D-Day has come and gone,’ Fury said on social media.

‘It’s gone past 5 o’clock [on] Monday, no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. He is now out in the cold with the wolfpack. Forget about it.

‘Idiot, coward, s*** house bodybuilder. Always knew it, always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King.

‘Regardless of what the f*** you say now, I don’t really care. Good luck with your career and your life. End of.’

Tyson Fury‘s trainer has revealed that ‘adjustments’ will be made for his clash with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.

Fury and Usyk will finally meet in the ring, on May 18th, as part of Riyadh Season to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

There had previously been claims that Fury will struggle to deal with the Ukrainian’s southpaw stance however his, trainer SugarHill Steward, that won’t be the case.

According to ProBox TV, he said: ‘I haven’t changed anything in that respect. I wasn’t in his corner for the [Otto] Wallin fight, and we’ve not faced a southpaw since, so there wasn’t anything to change.

‘It’s about adding something extra to what he already has. Tyson has a great mind and he’s very intelligent, he is one of the best.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will face off for the undisputed heavyweight title on May 18th

Ahead of the bout, Fury’s trainer has admitted the British star will make some ‘adjustments’

‘The Wallin fight he won anyway, the problems he had were from the cut he had on the night.

‘I’m not going to tell you what I’m going to change, obviously. I can’t be giving away our game plan for the Usyk fight. [But] I will be making some adjustments.’

When Fury fought Wallin back in September 2019, the British heavyweight was forced to overcome adversity in order to claim victory on the night.

Fury sustained a nasty cut during the bout and was at times it seemed as though his Swedish counter-part was getting the better of him.

Furthermore, in his previous outing in the ring, Fury suffered a shock knockdown to boxing debutant and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou – before going on to win the fight.

Recently, during a press conference for the event, Fury outlined his intentions for his bouts following the undisputed title fight.

Fury said: ‘Usyk twice this year. Joshua twice next year. ‘Then quicker fights against Daniel Dubois, Joe Joyce, a fourth fight with Deontay Wilder maybe in the US.

SugarHill Steward (R) played down claims that Fury will struggle to deal with a southpaw

Fury suffered a nasty cut during his fight with southpaw boxer Otto Wallin back in 2019

‘Then Joseph Parker perhaps followed by European champion Agit Kabayal. Then a trilogy fight with Usyk.’

On the timing he said: ‘ I could fight until I’m 40 and I’m happiest when I’m boxing. But I’d like to knock that lot off in three of four fights a year. Then see what’s next. ‘

Fury is anything but deflated by his recent struggle to get up from a knock down to marginally defeat UFC legend Ngannou.

The Ultimate Boxing Countdown: Tyson Fury’s Retirement Plan Features 10 Dream Fights, Joshua Included.

Last year, Tyson Fury was prepared to call it quits on boxing forever; but, he now wants to compete ten more times.

On May 18, Fury, 35, will fight Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia in an attempt to become the first heavyweight world champion to go undefeated since Lennox Lewis. After promising Anthony Joshua a domestic doubleheader, first in the Middle East and later at Wembley Stadium, he will now focus on his fierce adversary.

Fury has repeatedly “retired” from the ring, but he maintains that he was prepared to do so prior to the unexpected infusion of cash from Saudi Arabian oil. He now aspires to box into his 40s, emulating heavyweight greats Evander Holyfield and George Foreman. “If Saudi didn’t come into boxing and put my last fight on, I wouldn’t be boxing now,” Fury stated.

“We’ve talked about 10 more fights and that’s the aim. I’m not even 36 yet so I’ll go to 40, all these fighters go to 40. If they can line them up quickly I’ll do them. I can get the best out of me when I have two, three, four fights on the spin. If they can do it, fantastic. I’ll do Usyk, Usyk, AJ, AJ – if he doesn’t get beat in the meantime – so that’s four. Then I’ll do Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce, then Joseph Parker, that’s seven.

“Then I’ll go to America and chuck in an American, maybe Deontay Wilder for a fourth time. Maybe a European, an Agit Kabayel. Then for the 10th I’ll probably do a trilogy with Usyk.” Fury and Joshua agreed a deal to fight in 2021 before Fury was instead forced to take on Wilder in their trilogy bout when the American took him to court.

Joshua went on to lose his world titles to Usyk but four successive wins since their rematch have propelled him back into world title contention. He is expected to challenge for the IBF world title in September against either Daniel Dubois or Filip Hrgovic who are due to collide this summer.

Fury expects to take on Usyk for a second time in October, potentially setting him up for a meeting with Joshua early next year. But the champion is in no mood to rush into a fight with his fellow countryman. “The rematch was always very important to the little Usyk fella, he was crying like a little b**** about it,” he added. “I never wanted rematches after that Wilder stuff, I wanted one fight, but now I see it’s good because if I was chinned in a round I would get the chance to avenge it and get paid double. So I take my bald head off to Usyk, he gets a second chance and paid twice.”
