I know Prince William will be hugely successful as King – he just needs to do two things, claims royal expert

PRINCE William will be “hugely successful” as the future king if he channels the strengths of both his parents – King Charles and the late Princess Diana – claims an expert.

Royal historian and author Gareth Russell says the Prince of Wales has “very different influences” which will make him “exciting” as a monarch.

Prince William will be a 'successful' monarch if he channels the legacies of both his parents and the late Queen

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Gareth said it’s wrong for people to shoehorn “William as being Charles’s son” and “Harry as Diana’s son”.

The historian explained: “We sort of forget they have similarities to the other parent.

“William was immensely close to his mother and Diana was someone who was more of a radical royal compared to Elizabeth II.

“So he has these two very different influences and that I think makes them exciting as a future king.”

Gareth claims that Prince William will be “successful” if he embodies qualities from a number of Royal Family members.

He explained to The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson: “If he welds those two legacies – the willingness to change that Diana had and the enthusiasm for tradition Elizabeth II had – he could prove, I think, hugely successful as King William the fifth.”

This year has seen Prince William leading Royal Family duties, following King Charles and Kate Middleton being diagnosed with cancer.

William had temporarily cleared his diary to care for his wife Kate and their three children after she underwent abdominal surgery in January.

The Times reported that William wanted to “reassure the public” by stepping in.

All other working members of the Royal Family are understood to be continuing with public engagements in the King’s absence.

The Sun understands Charles and William have become incredibly close in recent months.

The King has been regularly staying at Windsor Castle on Sunday nights to spend time with his eldest son and heir to the throne.

In March, the Prince of Wales gave an emotional speech about Diana, and said that his mother taught him that “everyone has the potential to give something back”, as he paid tribute to her at the Diana Legacy Award.

Everything you need to know about Princess Diana’s final years

After years of separation, Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced in 1996.

In 1997, Princess Diana spent her summer in the south of France and Italy. During August, she visited Sarajevo, Bosnia, to highlight the fight against landmines.

By the end of the month, the Princess of Wales and Dodi Al-Fayed travelled to Paris together.

It was revealed that Princess Diana stayed longer than planned in Paris due to a row over her land mine campaign.

Travelling in a black Mercedes Benz, Princess Diana was involved in a car crash in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel on August 31, 1997.

The Princess of Wales died at the age of 36.

Her funeral was held on September 6, 1997. As her coffin made the journey from Kensington Palace to Westminister Abbey, Prince William and Prince Harry walked behind their late mother.

Princess Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd, and sisters, Jane Fellowes and Sarah McCorquodale, also attended the funeral.

The Princess of Wales was buried at her childhood home – Althorp House

If it wasn’t for her tragic death, Princess Diana would have been 62 today.

“That legacy is something that both Catherine and I have sought to focus on through our work, as have the 50,000 young people who have received a Diana Award over the past 25 years.

“I am so proud to see this belief of my mother’s manifested in the amazing young people receiving the Legacy Award tonight.”

Millions of hearts broke worldwide as the news of Princess Diana’s death was announced in 1997, with the late royal being dubbed the “People’s Princess.”

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘flaunting titles’ in ‘non-royal’ family after abandoning Firm

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘flaunting titles’ in ‘non-royal’ family after abandoning Firm

Life is very different for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now compared to when they married on this day six years ago in a lavish ceremony in Windsor – and one royal expert believes their latest moves have surprised everyone

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have set up a new ‘non-royal’ family after abandoning the Firm – despite still “flaunting their titles”, an expert has claimed.

The couple were granted their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles on this day six years ago when they married in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle. Back then, many were excited to see the modern touch the dazzling couple would bring to the monarchy. However, just over a year later, they sensationally quit their royal roles for a life in California with their children. Just last week, the Sussexes embarked on a ‘non royal tour’ to Nigeria, where they received a glowing reception.

And according to royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop, six years on from their Windsor wedding, the “Harry and Meghan train is still gathering speed”. She told the Mirror: ” Never underestimate the power of love. No pending seven-year itch for them. They are too busy making new friends on royal (or rather non-royal) tours of Africa, enjoying pop-up appearances in St Pauls and at polo matches and hosting press conferences on subjects close to their hearts.

“Despite the best efforts of the naysayers, their marriage looks rock solid. Harry has a new Californian glow, and Meghan, ever the actress, is never far from his arm, the adoring wife of a dashing Duke.

“The couple’s latest trip to Nigeria played to both their strengths, this was a team effort and we all know that marriage works best when both sides feel seen. Harry, ever the prince, glad-handed excited well-wishers and talked up the power of sport while Meghan, chic in African accessories, owned her ‘role model status and referred to Nigeria as ‘my country’. The Duke and Duchess were a smash-hit.

“Wayback when in 2020, ‘half-in, half-out’ was the Sussexes’ request. ‘No way’ came the royal retort, so Harry and Meghan turned on their heels and left. By abandoning the British Royal Family, they bound themselves ever tighter to each other. Many predicted this co-dependence would be their downfall, which the Sussex brand would not sustain. How wrong they were.

“Miles from home, minus all that is familiar, Harry needs a turbo-charged Meghan by his side, and likewise Meghan, once upon a time a bit-part actress, has entered a new realm courtesy of her prince. Together they are stronger than the sum of their parts and they know it. It helps that beneath the choreography and posing there still appears to be a real spark.”

Meanwhile, Tessa admits that for some in the UK, it might be a bittersweet pill to swallow to see the Sussexes enjoying success – but ultimately, their royal status cannot be taken away.

She explained: “From a British point of view, this all feels somewhat bittersweet. After all, the Sussexes flaunt British titles, and their blockbuster wedding (including security), was in large part funded by us, the British taxpayer. Yet as they trip around the world, the new ‘non-royal’ family, they are very much their own entity, no one is flying a Union flag. Ultimately that is their prerogative.

“Once a prince, always a prince, no one can take Harry’s royal status away from him, nor can we deny the fairytale aspect of their romance. Like it or not, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are proof that true love can blossom outside palace walls.”

Princess Anne favours an unusual breakfast choice that is not for the faint-hearted.

When you think of breakfast, images of cereal, pancakes, omelettes, or toast likely come to mind – but for Princess Anne, her breakfast choices are not for the faint-hearted.

The UK’s hardest-working royal relies on a good breakfast to fuel her day, but has a peculiar request, as revealed by Palace staff.

Palace insiders have claimed although the late Queen Elizabeth’s daughter likes healthy, vitamin-dense foods, she prefers to start her day with a bowl of overripe or even mouldy fruit.

As reported by the Mirror, Darren McGrady, a former chef to the royals, previously told TODAY: “Princess Anne almost always preferred the bananas almost black – overripe – because they’re digested easier.”

As royals prefer to traditionally eat with cutlery, there is a specific way Princess Anne, 73, needs her bananas prepared.

Darren explained: “First, the ends of the banana are cut off. Then the banana peel is sliced down the middle from end to end so the unpeeled fruit can be opened. The fruit is sliced into circles and eaten with a fork.”

Lunch is a meal often skipped by the royal, possibly because of her busy schedule, but she does carry snacks with her in her handbag. Her daughter, Zara Tindall, once revealed she often carries kiwi fruit in her purse.

Also a fan of fish, Anne is also known to enjoy kippers and once sent a letter full of praise to Fortune Kippers, an old smokehouse based in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

The company’s website reveals: “Members of the Royal Family have also been known to enjoy our kippers and HRH Princess Anne has written to Barry and Derek telling them how much she enjoys their kippers.”

There is also one food the Princess Royal is very keen on during flights and it is a very common and simple delicacy.

King Charles’s former pilot, Graham Laurie, has revealed that Princess Anne would enjoy Fray Bentos pies whilst on the plane during the Royal Family’s summer holidays.

He said: “He said: “I think it was such a pleasant change from all the poncey first class food. She enjoyed it.”

Throughout the years, Princess Anne has built a reliable name for herself as one of the most hardworking royals, and that status was solidified with official data in 2023.

Analysis of royal meetings and engagements from the Sunday Telegraph found Princess Anne carried out 457 engagements in 2023, providing steadfast and reliable support for her brother King Charles.

  • Prince Harry left ‘blown away’ by Meghan Markle on wedding day at this exact moment

Prince Harry left ‘blown away’ by Meghan Markle on wedding day at this exact moment

One special moment during the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left him ‘blown away’, an expert has said, ending months of tensions over the big day

Prince Harry was left ‘blown away’ by Meghan Markle on their wedding day at one special moment, a body language expert has said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot six years ago on May 19, 2018, in a memorable service at St George’s Chapel on the Windsor Castle grounds. Millions watched around the world as the royal and his new American bride said their ‘I do’s’, confounding months of nervous build-up to the big day.

But it was one particular part of the royal wedding that seemed to leave a big impression on Harry and release any tension, according to body language analyst Darren Stanton.

Meghan's entrance to St George's Chapel released all of Harry's tension, Darren Stanton said

Speaking to Betfair Live Casino, Darren said Harry seemed “nervous” while waiting for Meghan to arrive on their wedding day. But she on the other hand appeared “calm” and “confident”, with everything “falling into place” once she entered the church.

Describing the impact of her entrance on Harry, he said: “When Harry first saw Meghan on their wedding day, Harry was blown away. He couldn’t stop smiling and couldn’t stop looking her in the eyes. This shows how real their connection is. As soon as they locked eyes with each other, Harry’s body language relaxed. It shows how connected they are as a couple. It means that when they are together and can be themselves, but also feel comfortable when they have each other by their side.”

Speaking on how their relationship has developed since their wedding day, the expert also touched on how the couple have gone from strength to strength, and appear to have each other’s backs as husband and wife. He said: “When we look at Harry and Meghan as a couple, they are very compatible together. They balance out each other’s personalities perfectly. When they were having their photos taken after the ceremony, their gestures with one another showed how they had a passionate but very trusting relationship. They were tactile with each other, which speaks volumes about their trust levels as a couple. They know each other inside out and it comes across as completely natural.”

Much has happened for the couple since the wedding, including two children Archie, five, and Lilibet, two, as well as a dramatic exit from the Royal Family and attempts to begin a new media career in the US. And in a tell-all Oprah chat, Meghan claimed actually married Harry three days before their extravagant royal event. She said the Archbishop of Canterbury had carried out the wedding in their garden at Kensington Palace three days before the official date. Harry also said in the 2021 interview that the secret ceremony was attended by “just the three of us”.

Harry and Meghan’s relationship has gone from ‘strength to strength’ as they ‘have each other’s backs’

According to an expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s marriage has gotten stronger with their relationship going from ‘strength to strength’ over the last six years

Six years ago today, Prince Harry married his American bride Meghan Markle after going public with their engagement just months before. The pair tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, surrounded by loved ones as the world watched and marvelled at the televised event.

It has now been revealed by an expert that over the years, the couple’s marriage has gone from “strength to strength” as they “have each other’s backs”. This comes amid many milestone moments during their marriage – from welcoming their first child, stepping down as senior royals, moving to America, welcoming another child, and working on various exciting projects.

Body language expert Darren Stanton has looked at how the couple felt moments before tying the knot – as well as how their relationship has developed since. Mr Stanton has revealed some very interesting things, with him noting how Harry was “nervous” while waiting for Meghan to emerge down the aisle, with him also revealing that their relationship has since gone from “strength to strength” as husband and wife.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Live Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed: “Since their wedding day in 2018, Harry and Meghan have been through a lot together and it has made their relationship go from strength to strength. From looking at their engaged eye contact, it’s clear they have a deep rapport with each other.”

Mr Stanton added that over the years, the Sussexes have demonstrated how “real” their relationship is. He said: “They’ve overcome a lot and always have each other’s backs, whatever situation they are faced with. They’re both independent individuals, who bring out the best in each other.

“That is shown by how their levels of confidence and resilience have grown since their relationship first began. The fact they have been through so much together has made their connection even stronger.”

Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, with the couple moving to America that same year. The Sussexes now reside in the lavish neighbourhood of Montecito, with them rubbing shoulders with the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey and Katy Perry – all of whom reside close by to the young family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, would have never got married had Harry’s mother Princess Diana been alive, an expert has claimed

Six years ago today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in a lavish Royal Wedding held in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got hitched on May 19, 2018, with the couple saying “I do” surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones as the world watched the televised landmark event. But if Princess Diana had still been alive, one royal expert believes the wedding may never have taken place.

Back in March, Dickie Arbiter spoke to Times Radio about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The commentator on the British Royal Family, who was the press spokesman for Queen Elizabeth II from 1988 until 2000, said that he believes if Diana had been alive, Harry and Meghan would not have got married.

Speaking two months ago, Mr Arbiter said: “If Diana had been alive, I’m going to stick my neck out here, and I doubt Harry would have married Meghan.” He went on to add: “Diana was very careful about her boys, they were her boys. She protected them, and she would have protected them against anybody she felt wasn’t the right person.”

He then spoke of how Harry had a “number of girlfriends” but they didn’t want to “be in the goldfish bowl”, but he wanted something like his brother William had – a marriage and kids. Mr Arbiter added: “My own personal opinion is that he rushed into the marriage.”

He went on to say that he believes Diana, who sadly died in 1997, would have put a “question mark over it”, noting that he feels Harry wouldn’t be where he is now if Diana was still alive.

Commenting on the video, which was shared on Times Radio’s YouTube Channel, one person said: “I said from the beginning that Diana would never have approved of her.”

Another added: “I have always said Diana would have seen through Meghan Markle in a New York minute. She would never have allowed Harry to marry her.” While a third penned: “I absolutely agree. I don’t think Megan Markle would have been able to get near Harry. He would NEVER married this woman.”

  • Prince William and King Charles want key thing ‘made clear’ about Meghan and Harry Nigeria trip

Prince William and King Charles want key thing ‘made clear’ about Meghan and Harry Nigeria trip

Prince William travelled the furthest away from his family since Kate Middleton revealed her cancer diagnosis to carry out two days of official engagements – meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been undertaking engagements in Nigeria

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to Nigeria has been referred to as a ‘mini royal tour’ despite the pair famously stepping back from their senior Royal roles in 2020 – but one leading royal expert claims this term would not have “pleased” King Charles or Prince William.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK!: “The King and Prince William are firmly of the belief that you are either in or out of the working Royals. This seems to be a rather strange halfway house. I think both the King and the Prince, and indeed the Government, will want it to be made clear that Harry is not representing either the Royal Family or Britain on this trip.”

Jennie revealed how William appears more at ease with wife Kate Middleton’s cancer recovery, as a key move indicates she’s “feeling stronger every day”. The Prince of Wales embarked on his furthest journey from his family since the Princess of Wales announced her cancer diagnosis, undertaking two days of official duties.

The leading Royal expert believed that this decision is a positive indication that Kate is “feeling stronger every day”.

William has been in Cornwall in his capacity as the head of the Duchy of Cornwall, highlighting the issue of homelessness with visits to the Nansledan Estate. During his visit, William also met with hospital staff on the Isles of Scilly and participated in an impromptu game of volleyball with young lifeguards on Fistral Beach.

Discussing William’s two-night stay away from home in Cornwall, Jennie said: “It’s great news that William feels relaxed enough to stay away for a night. I’ve no doubt that Catherine’s parents will be staying with her, but even so it must be a step in the right direction. Hopefully Catherine is feeling stronger every day and, with the sun now shining, she’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors which, for her, has always been restorative.”

While out and about, William provided an update on the Princess of Wales, stating: “She’s doing well, thanks,” before adding: “The children are very jealous that I am here… Maybe we might come later in the year.”

Prince William’s trip to Cornwall coincided with Prince Harry’s return to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games and his subsequent journey to Nigeria with Meghan Markle. Despite previous speculation, Harry did not meet with any Royal family members during his UK visit, including his father, King Charles.

Royal expert Jennie commented on the ongoing feud between the brothers: “I think we have to give up hope that the rift between the brothers will be healed at any time in the near future, or indeed ever.”

She added: “William’s head and heart must be bursting with all that he has on his plate right now: his wife’s cancer treatment, his father’s illness, his children growing up fast, the pressure for him to take on more royal duties, the prospect of becoming King earlier than he might ever have wanted.”

Jennie believes that dealing with ‘the Harry problem’ is likely too much for William at this point. She said: “Dealing with ‘the Harry problem’ is probably just one step too far for William. I believe he has moved on with his life and has, to all intents and purposes, disowned the brother to whom he was once so close.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘struggle to conceal delight as they trump William and Kate’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ben continuing their public appearances, as William and Kate have withdrawn from royal duties in recent months as Kate continues her cancer treatment

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent Nigeria trip and efforts to build their profile might have them being seen as ‘the more fashionable version of William and Kate’.

As the Prince and Princess of Wales have withdrawn from royal duties in recent months as Kate continues her cancer treatment, it appears the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped up their appearances despite not being working royals any longer. The couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020, but they have kept their royal titles and a recent three day trip to Nigeria was likened to a royal tour by critics. Now, Buckingham Palace has announced that the Royal Family is to postpone engagements that may appear to divert attention or distract from the election campaign.

Royal author and expert Tom Quinn exclusively told the Mirror : “Harry and Meghan, the renegade Royals, will struggle to conceal their delight that the Royal family has decided to postpone much of its work in the run-up to the general election at the beginning of July.”

For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to The Mirror US.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Harry and Meghan’s recent Nigeria trip was deemed a success, and thought to paint them as ‘a more relaxed, more fashionable version of William and Kate’
He added: “Freed of the normal constraints on working royals, Harry and Megan are canny enough to know that this gives them a chance to fill the gap – that in the coming weeks the focus is bound to shift to them. You only have to look at photographs of the couple during their recent Nigeria tour to see that that they are determined to be seen as a more relaxed, more fashionable version of William and Kate. That’s why they make sure they are constantly seen holding hands and emphasising their commitment to the young and disadvantaged.”

He concluded: “It’s a clever pitch from a couple who want to be seen as the fun alternative to the fusty, out of touch and now largely shutdown Royal family.”

Harry and Meghan’s renewed focus on their personal appearances is thought to have worried William and Kate, as Tom Quinn previously told the Mirror: “The senior royals, especially William and Kate, are terrified of one thing above all others: that Harry and Meghan will continue to organise trips across the world until they are seen as the public face of the royal family. The fear is made worse because William knows that with his wife stricken with cancer he cannot compete and he can’t stop the Meghan and Harry rollercoaster.”

Harry and Meghan, who stepped down from the royal family in 2020, have also hinted that there could be future trips for the couple, as in a message thanking the people of Nigeria following their return home, they described it as “the first of many trips”.

  • Dillian Whyte has declared himself ready to ‘step up’ and fight Anthony Joshua in December after Tyson Fury claimed a Battle of Britain with long-term rival Anthony Joshua

Dillian Whyte has declared himself ready to ‘step up’ and fight Anthony Joshua in December after Tyson Fury claimed a Battle of Britain with long-term rival Anthony Joshua

On Monday night Fury insisted he will not be fighting heavyweight rival Joshua after his fellow Brit missed a deadline of 5pm on Monday to sign the contract.

Fury has become frustrated with what he perceives to be a lack of movement from Joshua’s camp and set the take-it-or-leave-it 5pm deadline to the Watford-born fighter, which he claims was not met.

As a result the eagerly anticipated Battle of Britain dust-up is in jeopardy and Whyte, who lost to Joshua back in 2015, is ready to capitalise.

Dillian Whyte (left) has thrown his hat in the ring to be Anthony Joshua’s (right) next opponent

‘If the Fury fight doesn’t get made with Joshua then me and him can fight in December if he wants,’ Whyte told Sky Sports.

‘He’s training for it, he’s ready for it, he’s willing to take Fury on so if that fight doesn’t get made I’ll step up and take the fight with Joshua. That would be a great fight.’

Knowing the sport inside out, Whyte is well aware that there is a lot of posturing on both sides of the Fury and Joshua camps.

Fury is being, in Whyte’s opinion, ‘very silly’ with his consistent uploads on social media and the Gypsy King’s latest video, released on Monday, appeared to extinguish hopes of a fight with Joshua.

Fury has said he will be fighting on December 3, and is now set to fight an alternative opponent

Joshua suffered his second-successive loss against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia last month

‘Well guys, it’s official: D-Day has come and gone,’ Fury said. ‘It’s gone past 5 o’clock [on] Monday, no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. He is now out in the cold with the wolfpack. Forget about it.

‘Idiot, coward, s*** house bodybuilder. Always knew it, always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King.

‘Regardless of what the f*** you say now, I don’t really care. Good luck with your career and your life. End of.’

Joshua has appeared calm in the face of Fury’s demands on social media, and insisted on Sunday that he would sign for the huge domestic clash.

‘I’ve been signing contracts for years,’ said Joshua. ‘It ain’t in my hands, it’s with a legal team. That’s why you hire lawyers. If you know the history of boxing, you make sure you get your legal terms right. That’s why you’ve got good management and good lawyers.

‘So, of course, I’m going to sign the contract. It’s just with some lawyers at the minute.’

Joshua (left) and Whyte (right) first shared the ring in 2015 when Joshua won by TKO decision

Asked if he really believes there is life in negotiations to get Fury versus Joshua back on the table, Whyte added: ‘I think it can happen but Fury is putting a lot of pressure on, using social media which has been a bit silly really.

‘These big fights take time because there’s a lot that goes into it. The team puts a lot into it, there’s a lot of commercial things and protecting your best interests and protecting your rights and obviously these guys are on two different TV stations so there’s a lot that goes into it.’

It would be in Whyte’s interests for Fury and Joshua to continue butting heads as he targets his own mega-fight in the heavyweight division.

The ‘Body Snatcher’ first shared the ring with British rival Joshua in December 2015 when Joshua was awarded victory by technical knockout (TKO).

Whyte, too, has experience against Fury having faced the Gypsy King, and WBC heavyweight champion, back in April. He lost by TKO in round six.

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury Share Similar Perspective on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Fight.

Although heavyweight rivals Joshua and Fury believe Paul and Tyson’s megafight this summer will benefit boxing, boxing purists have criticized the bout.

Both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua think that Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul will only fight good for boxing.

In one of the biggest and most contentious fights of the year, “Iron Mike” will return to the ring on July 20 at the Dallas Cowboys stadium against YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul. The fight is scheduled to take place as an exhibition, but Tyson has denied rumors that he and Paul will be donning headgear and eighteen-ounce gloves.

Since switching to boxing full-time, Paul has faced harsh criticism for taking on former MMA fighters as well as sportsmen from other sports. As Joshua stated on The Jonathan Ross Show, “I personally think it’s really good,” he believes that influencers like Paul entering the ring can only help boxing gain more attention.

Boxing purists, in my opinion, take offense at it because they wonder “why these people are demeaning our sport?” However, I believe that person is the reason why so many people get involved in boxing, which is good for everyone. Everybody who watches is helpful. Mike Tyson is now older. I hope he emerges unscathed. Jake Paul’s youth is the only reason, in my opinion.”

Paul suffered his sole loss to date at the hands of his brother Tommy in their fight last year, thus Fury is well-known in the influencer boxing community. The heavyweight champion recently spoke with The Stomping Ground and repeated what Joshua said on Paul vs. Tyson. “It would be amazing for the boys to receive payment and perform together. I’m at a loss for anything not to enjoy,” he remarked.

“Oh, okay, [Tyson] is 57 years old, but he’s a former undisputed world heavyweight king, and Paul plays computers for a living and he’s come to boxing about a year ago. So, pretty even match. “I think it’s fantastic for boxing. You’ve got a legend in Mike Tyson. You’ve got a YouTube boxer, he has come into the game and blew it up and he’s got millions of followers and millions of views and millions of eyes.

“Good, bad or indifferent. Some people love him, some people hate him. I think it’s a really good spectacle for boxing. Brings a lot of people to the game. Listen, who am I to say, ‘Oh, Mike Tyson shouldn’t be boxing or Jake Paul shouldn’t be boxing, good luck to ’em. They’re both gonna make what I call a s*** ton of money out of it. So, isn’t that what it’s about? A great stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.”
