Inside Gabby Logan’s marriage to husband Kenny Logan – sex-less marriage; affair allegations; wedding day disaster

Gabby Logan married husband Kenny 24 years ago in 2001 – but things haven’t always been smooth sailing for the two of them.

The 52-year-old TV presenter – who has often shared how they’ve managed to stay in love – welcomed twins Reuben and Lois with her husband back in 2005 after undergoing IVF treatment. But along with the good times, they’ve hit more than a few bumps along the way.

So, as Gabby appears on Mary Berry’s A Lifetime of Cooking this weekend (November 8), let’s take a deeper look at their relationship.

Kenny ‘encouraged’ Gabby to get ‘fit’

Way back in 2004, Gabby – who met Kenny in a bar in Fulham in 1999 – explained to The Sunday Mirror that it was her rugby playing husband who encouraged her to get fitter – and he even once compared her to a Teletubby.

I wasn’t fat – I was probably only a size bigger than I am now.

She explained: “I wasn’t in the best shape when I got together with Kenny. When he first met me he called me ‘Po’ after the teletubby. I’d be like: ‘Oi, don’t push your luck!’ I wasn’t fat – I was probably only a size bigger than I am now – but I didn’t feel confident in my body.”

Gabby – a former gymnast – admitted she “lost” her way with her diet and fitness once she left university.

Sex-less marriage confession

Back in 2023, Gabby made an appearance on Anna Richardson’s podcast, It Can’t Just Be Me, where she revealed she actually didn’t want to have sex with her husband due to the menopause.

Before Gabby began taking HRT – hormone replacement therapy – she found she didn’t “want” to have sex with Kenny.

She said: “I had a very healthy relationship with my husband and I loved him and fancied him. I couldn’t understand why I didn’t want to have sex with him as much. Or why it was something that I felt I was going to have to have.

“I wanted to keep enjoying having sex, not feeling that I was doing it because it is part of the marriage contract.”

Previous hope to have ‘more children’

Gabby and Kenny welcomed two beautiful twin babies in 2005 through after suffering fertility issues. And, while Gabby is happy with her family, she has previously admitted she wished she could have more children.

Previously speaking on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast in 2023, Gabby explained she “always thought” she would have a big family.

She said: “I always thought I would have four children. Just the other night I said to Kenny, when we were talking about our empty house and the future, that we should have more children.”

Affair allegations

While in a previous university relationship with a man named Ian, Gabby had an affair. Something she has been very vocal about.

But then, years later, when married to Kenny, their relationship was hit with false rumours she was having an affair with footballing legend Alan Shearer.

However, both Gabby and her husband Kenny shut the rumours down, with him admitting he knew there wasn’t “a grain of truth” behind the claims.

At the time Gabby responded to a social media post accusing the two of having an affair. She wrote: “I think you should be careful what you write on here. The publishing laws apply and you are guilty of defamation of character with that.”

In her memoir, Gabby recalled: “I laughed when I read it. Then I got angry. Then I panicked.”

It seems even Gabby and Kenny’s big day was hit with some drama, which her husband didn’t even realise.

While it’s supposed to be one of the happiest days, Gabby was left “fuming” after their wedding day was hit with a first dance disaster. As it turns out, the wrong song played when they went for their dance.

Kenny told Vernon Kay on BBC’s Track Of My Years: “The first dance, what comes up, Lovely Day by Bill Withers, played the wrong track. Gabby went: ‘It’s the wrong track.’ She is in my ear saying it’s the wrong song.”

“We had such a lovely day and we are just dancing. And I had no clue it was a disaster. But Gabby was fuming.”

Cancer heartbreak for Gabby’s husband Kenny

In 2022, Kenny was heartbreakingly diagnosed with prostate cancer, before receiving the all-clear a year later following treatment.

Gabby has opened up on the diagnosis, revealing that it was Davina McCall who inspired him to get checked out.

She explained Kenny had listened to Davina McCall’s episode of her podcast where she talked about the menopause. After the episode he asked Gabby about men’s hormones, and she didn’t really know the answers. So, he headed to a clinic to check his testosterone.

After some tests, it was revealed that Kenny’s PSA was high and went through “six months of more invasive tests”. In the end, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Gabby said: “He had no symptoms. It was purely down to going to have those hormone tests. He had his prostate removed because that was the best course of treatment for him. Because they caught it early, it hadn’t spread anywhere.”

Both Gabby Logan and husband Kenny have been open about how the diagnosis affected them. She admitted: “If you’ve been together with somebody for a long time, then it’s going to affect the dynamic. It’s huge.”

‘Meltdown’ where she almost moved out

Over the years, she has been open about her personal struggles with the menopause. But it seems back in 2020, Gabby Logan had a “meltdown” in front of her husband and kids – and actually threatened to move out.

But it turns out it was actually over something minor, which got blown out of proportion in Gabby’s mind, thanks to her hormones.

She revealed: “It was over something small, like the kids not clearing up after breakfast. I had this absolute meltdown and sat everyone down. I launched into this off-the-cuff ‘I’m going to get myself a flat in Beaconsfield and move out and let you all just get on with it’. It was totally random.”

Gabby explained her kids were left almost in tears following the outburst. And she looks back at the “mini-crisis” as her “lowest point”.

Marriage is a ‘team sport’ for Gabby and husband Kenny

Despite all the struggles they have endured, Gabby is full of pride that she and Kenny have managed to remain at each other’s sides. And last year she opened up on how their marriage is just like a sport.

She explained that sometimes one person needs a boost, and it’s up to the other one to pick it up – just like any sport that involves a team.

Gabby said: “Sometimes there’s going to be a player who needs picking up. And other times they’re the star of the game and it’s someone else who needs the boost. With marriage it’s the same. You are never walking the same bit of road at the same time. We also never stop working at it.”

However, she added that working on your marriage isn’t something that you can just “leave to be”, hoping that it will change. But instead, it needs some “assessment” during certain situations.

Three-step plan to happy marriage

Last summer, Gabby Logan revealed she had a three-step plan that helps her maintain a happy marriage with husband Kenny. And those three-steps are “communication, having fun and making time to be together”.

Speaking about her plans, she told The Sun: “The secret is to keep making an effort. Not to be crude, but if you had an amazing sports car, you couldn’t leave it in a garage for 15 years and expect it to work straight away. If you have something special, you need to look after it.”

‘Can you please stop!’

Speaking more recently, it appears she’s been putting her plan into action. So much so that their rugby-playing son Reuben has asked her to stop speaking about her romps with Kenny!

He recently told how he begged her to stop discussing her “daily romps” with his father because they were being played in his gym. Gabby had previously told how Reuben had found her podcast episode that saw Kenny discuss his sex life post-prostate cancer slightly difficult to deal. In the chat, Gabby had said that Kenny was “still fully functioning” following his illness.

“He’s like: ‘Mum, can you stop talking about your sex life, because now I go into work, they play clips in the dressing room. It would be helpful if you could just shut up for a while,’” Gabby revealed.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Reuben said: “I will openly say now that I said: ‘Can. You. Please. Stop!’ I remember being in the gym and the podcast was being played for half the gym session.  I did not know that that podcast had happened until I had heard it and I remember saying to her: ‘What have you been talking about online?!’”

He added: “‘It’s good!’ she said. I said: ‘I’m sure it is but you do have a late-teenage son in a rugby environment, so you have to think about that!’”

Lewis, 30, who had topped the leaderboard most weeks and scored the show’s first 40, and pro Katya, 36, found themselves in the dreaded dance-off against Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.

Taking to Instagram to show support for both Lewis and Katya, former Emmerdale star Lewis’ girlfriend Rach Lopez, who had been supporting the duo in the live audience each week, shared a lengthy and heartfelt post.

The Princess of Wales takes great pride in the healing powers of her annual “Together At Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey.

Catherine has dedicated herself to literally bringing people in from the cold and sent out invitations as usual to Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who have attended in the past.

But the daughters of disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were conspicuous by their absence this year, citing “previous commitments.”

So what’s going on?

I’m told by reliable Palace sources that happily married mums Bea, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are “walking a tightrope” between loyalty to their parents and allegiance to the royal family.

“They didn’t want to turn the event into a circus by having attention on them so they took the decision to stay away” my source told me.

“It was their choice and no-one leant on them.

“The Princesses really are torn between their family and loyalty to the Crown.

“They will probably go to Sandringham at Christmas to be with the King and the rest of the royals, but they didn’t want to overshadow Kate’s service as they passionately support it.”

In an Instagram post on the day of the service, Eugenie said : “Wish Bea and I could have been celebrating tonight with our family.

“Wishing the Prince and Princess of Wales such a special evening at her incredible carol service — what an amazing message of love and hope.”

But if the Yorkie sisters are staying away from royal get togethers, it seems likely their cousins will keep their distance as well.

It’s not thought the King, William and Kate, and other senior royals will turn up this Friday when Beatrice’s second daughter Athena is christened at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace.

The former Prince Andrew will probably be left out of any official photos released, so low is his status.

A smattering of European royals may attend, along with Sir Richard Branson’s daughter Holly, a close friend.

Quite rightly the focus will be on Athena, who was born several weeks premature in January, weighing less than 2 kgs.

“It will be a happy day and Bea and Eugenie will hope next year is much better” said the source.

“They have been through the wringer watching their parents’ downfall, and while they want to support them, they are treading carefully to keep in with the rest of the family.”

And just five months after getting engaged, it has been claimed that the smitten couple have made things official. According to The Sun, Davina and Michael said their ‘I do’s’ last week during a very “low key” ceremony.

“Their wedding was perfect, exactly what they wanted. They chose a small venue close to their home, and just invited about ten of their friends and relatives to be there with them. It was very intimate and everyone who attended is very special in their lives,” a source told the outlet.

Davina and Michael ‘didn’t see the point in waiting’

The insider also claimed that Davina’s recent health woes prompted their decision to get married now.

They went on: “They’ve been through a huge amount in recent months, with Davina’s health, and it just felt right to formalise their marriage. They didn’t see the point in waiting.

“The next day they just carried on with life as normal, and as coincidence would have it they were guests at another friend’s wedding day. So they went as a married ­couple for the first time and happily showed off her wedding ring. It was the perfect weekend.”

She deserves all the happiness in the world.

As expected, fans were left over the moon to hear Davina’s reported wedding news. On Facebook, one person reacted: “Congratulations to you both, glad for Davina after her tough year.”

Another added: “She deserves all the happiness in the world – a beautiful human and he has been her rock. Congratulations.” A third also chimed in: “Congratulations to you both. You have been through such a bad patch health-wise together. And now it’s made you both stronger together and husband and wife.”

STRICTLY FEARS: Fans Convinced Amber Davies Will Face Another Blow This Weekend  After a turbulent week, viewers are bracing themselves for more heartbreak. Clues from rehearsals and show chatter have fans worried that Amber’s toughest moment may still be ahead.

Amber Davies has been the subject of a lot of trolling ever since she joined the Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

But despite it all, she has made it to the semi-finals week. However, to get here, she has experienced a few dance-offs. Most notably, last weekend, she went up against Lewis Cope and sent him packing.

Now, Strictly fans are convinced that Amber will once again be in the bottom-two, especially after her trolling has ramped up quite a bit. However, they don’t think it will impact her getting to the final.

Amber Davies hits back at trolls

Earlier this week, Amber Davies had had enough of the Strictly trolling and negative comments and decided to speak out against it.

Writing on X on Monday morning, Amber stated: “Guys, please. It really is just a television show. I wasn’t even supposed to be in the comp. You have no idea what we put our mind and body through for this experience.

“I am really just trying my best with the opportunity that came to me. To any of you that have left a NICE comment, thank you.”

She then reshared the message on her Instagram account, adding: “The meanies are out to play. Please be kind.”

This weekend, Amber and pro-partner Nikita will be performing their Couples Choice routine to Fly Me To The Moon by Raye. Their second dance is a Tango to Michael Buble’s song Higher.

With the final in sight, recent odds suggest it will be Karen Carney or George Clarke that win the show. And with Angry Ginge’s recent I’m A Celebrity win, it could be the year for influencers.

Amber could face another dance-off this weekend

However, due to the constant trolling and criticism of her dance background, Strictly fans believe Amber Davies will be in the dance-off again.

Last weekend, despite getting a perfect score of 40, Amber found herself going head-to-head with Lewis Cope. And she won.

That’s something Strictly fans are convinced will always happen. Because of how talented of a dancer Amber Davies is, they believe that no matter who she goes up against, she will win the Strictly dance-off. And so, in their eyes, Amber Davies has already secured a spot in the Strictly Come Dancing final.

Taking to X, one fan penned: “All the online trolls love to hate on Amber. But you won’t be laughing when she knocks your favourite out of the competition in the dance-off on Saturday.”

Another added: “It’s funny that Amber is the only guaranteed finalist. She will beat anyone in that dance-off.”

BABY BUZZ!  Joe Sugg & Dianne Buswell Reveal Nursery — And Viewers Are Convinced the Name Is Hidden Inside

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell delighted fans back in September when they announced they were expecting a baby boy.

And, as the arrival of the little one draws closer, the duo are in deep preparation mode.

On a December 1 vlog, Joe surprised Dianne with the work he’d been doing in the nursery. “So cute,” she gasped, before walking around the room to take it all in. While unfinished, the nursery was adorned with a naturalistic colour scheme including green, cream, white and brown.

Then, in a December 9 vlog, Joe gave viewers an official tour of their nursery, quipping that it’s his “worst-kept secret” ever.

The walls of their son’s nursery are covered with gorgeous duck-print wallpaper, accompanied by earthy green panelling that Joe painted himself.

A natural-looking wooden cot is the centrepiece of the room — and will likely remain so for years to come, as Dianne revealed it can be turned into a bed once their baby boy outgrows it.

Lying in the crib along with some pre-picked baby clothes is Rupert the bear, a teddy bear that Joe himself had as a child.

Matching the cot is a similarly designed changing station that doubles as a chest of drawers, while a white wardrobe sits parallel to the crib – already filled with neatly-folded clothes and blankets.

Opposite the wardrobe is a sunflower-themed playmat with a small mobile — which Dianne couldn’t resist giving a go as she lay on the floor. Although, in an awkward moment, she couldn’t quite get up on her own!

Elsewhere, tucked in the corner is a mustard chair and a matching footstool. However, upon testing out the chair, Dianne was unconvinced due to the lack of back support.

Other additions include a chair-side table gifted by Joe’s YouTube sister Zoella topped with a wooden Pinocchio puppet, and a small shelf already stacked with children’s books.

However, the most impressive part of the room is the twinkling green star-style lights. They not only make the room even cosier, but also help to cement the colour scheme.

Fans speculate on baby’s name

After watching the vlog, fans were left convinced that they’ve worked out the baby’s name. As they relaxed in bed, Dianne gave a ‘clue’ to the baby’s name, simply saying “snow”. Meanwhile, Joe gave users a glimpse of his Beavis and Butthead T-shirt, saying that this was a second clue.

In the comments of a TikTok clip of this part of the vlog, fans deduced from Dianne’s clue that the name was something wintery. Jack was a very popular choice, with one commenter arguing that it’s inspired by Jack Frost. “Definitely Jack!” said one. “No doubt they will call him Jack,” another commented.

Another recurring name was Sully or Sullivan. “I am so sure it’s Sullivan!!!” another fan declared. “I think Dianne is referring to the yeti from Monsters Inc, which is quite niche, which is why Joe was confused.”

Continuing the theme, commenters also landed on the name Winter. “They said something about they’ve heard it as a surname before,” a third wrote.  So I’m going to say Winter.”

While less people engaged with Joe’s clue, a fourth fan theorised a name that incorporated both.

“Probably too far-fetched, but Beavis and Butthead is set in a fictional place called Highland,” they pointed out. “Scottish Highlands are snowy, and Highland/Hyland is more commonly a surname than a first name.”

Joe and Dianne revealed they had decided on the baby name a long time ago. So, it remains to be seen if these fans were way off the mark or entirely correct!

 OMG!! DISASTER? Public Fury Erupts After Reports Claim 170 Dangerous Suspects Can’t Be Removed From the UK

Dozens of ‘dangerous’ foreign nationals are being allowed to keep living in the UK as the Home Office cannot deport them due to human rights laws.

Some 170 people who pose a threat to public safety are currently being housed under restrictions across the country, government documents show.

And more than half of these individuals are reported to ‘have been involved in terrorism or extremism-related activities’.

It is understood that some of the restrictions imposed on the foreign nationals may include 24-hour surveillance and wearing an ankle monitor.

However, it is not clear exactly what measures are in force and on how many of the security threats who cannot be booted out.

Currently failed asylum seekers and foreign criminals are avoiding being deported back to their home countries after claiming a right to family life.

This right is set out under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, of which the UK remains a member.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has promised an overhaul of human rights laws and tighter controls on immigration.

However, there are calls for Labour to go further following the latest revelations that were published in a Government Equality Impact Assessment on the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill.

The document reads: ‘Provisions for imposing conditions on immigration leave where a foreign national poses a threat to the public but cannot be removed from the UK may be more likely to affect certain age groups.

‘The conditions provided for by the measures will only be used in a very low number of cases involving conduct such as war crimes, crimes against humanity, extremism, serious crime or where the person poses a threat to national security or public safety.

‘At the time of this EIA, around 170 people are currently on restricted leave, with over half having been involved in terrorism or extremism related activities.’

A Home Office minister told the Sunday Express that it was ‘disgraceful’ that dangerous foreign nationals have been allowed to stay in the UK.

Border Security and Asylum minister Alex Norris said: ‘It is disgraceful that terrorists have been able to stay in the UK under previous rules. Our new laws will place strict restrictions on foreign nationals who pose a threat, tracking their every move.

‘These laws will also enable us to get terrorists rapidly deported from British soil and keep our country safe.’

But the revelations have reignited calls for human rights laws to be overhauled and for the UK to leave the European Convention on Human Rights.

Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick said: ‘Our broken borders are a national security emergency. We have to leave the ECHR and deport every single one of these terrorists and extremists.

‘This government is clueless as to how bad the problem is and how to fix it.’

Meanwhile, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage added that the Labour government is ‘filled to the brim with woke human rights lawyers’.

He said Sir Keir Starmer’s administration is ‘prioritising’ a court in Strasbourg over the British people.

It comes after it emerged this week that ministers don’t know how many illegal migrants are in Britain or the number using human rights law to avoid deportation.

The University of Oxford’s Migration Observatory flagged 10 major areas where information is lacking, including immigration enforcement and returns, and the size of the population living in the UK without papers.

The research also raised how it is difficult to understand how many immigration cases are affected by the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which the Conservatives and Reform UK have vowed to leave.

Experts found there is little data to know who and how many people apply for and are granted permission to stay in the UK through the convention, or successfully appeal against their removal.

Madeleine Sumption, director of the Migration Observatory, said: ‘The UK’s membership of ECHR is a major issue in public debate, in large part due to its impacts on migration policy.

‘But the current data can’t give us a clear picture of where and when it has most impact. This makes it harder for the public or policymakers to make an informed choice about an important decision with long-term repercussions for the UK.’

Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, accused Labour of ‘hiding the very data the public need to understand what is happening to our borders’.

He said ministers were ‘refusing to publish key enforcement data and they avoid saying how many cases are affected by human rights law’ claiming that ministers were ‘keeping the country in the dark because the truth would expose how weak and incompetent their approach really is’.

The research comes as Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced a series of reforms that aim to cut the number of people coming to the country.

As part of the asylum proposals, ministers will seek to bring in legislation to prevent human rights laws being used to frustrate deportations and make it easier to remove people.

Elsewhere, the Government will also make refugee status temporary, and refugees will have to wait 20 years before being eligible to apply for permanent settlement, instead of five years currently.

Asylum seekers whose claims are denied will be limited to make one appeal against their removal, instead of having the ability to make multiple challenges on different grounds.
