Anthony Joshua Strives Diligently to Secure Tyson Fury Fight as Gypsy King Hints at Imminent Deadline

ANTHONY JOSHUA revealed he is ‘working really hard’ to secure an undisputed title fight with Tyson Fury.

But the Gypsy King taunted ‘one day left’ as their agreement deadline draws closer.

The heavyweight champions signed a two-fight deal in March, and promoters gave themselves a 28-day period to have a venue and date set in stone.

But as the deadline approaches this weekend, Fury has twice referenced on social media that the clock is ticking.

In his latest, he wrote: “1 day left.” Accompanied by three alarm clocks.

But AJ was quick to assure fans himself, his management group 258 and Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing are still in talks with the opposition.

He tweeted: “Quick update. Myself, @258mgt & @MatchroomBoxing are working really hard to make the fight happen.

“I want to give my fans what they want & you know I’ll do whatever I can to deliver. Hoping to share some positive news soon.”

Hearn confirmed the deadline is not a deal-breaker, and various mega-money site deals are being laid out to both camps in the coming days.

He told SunSport: “It’s a self-inflicted deadline from both teams that we agreed that should give us enough time to secure it.

  • Criticism Directed at Jake Paul for Making a “Disrespectful” Remark about Mike Tyson, while Tyson Fury Advised to Reflect on Himself

Criticism Directed at Jake Paul for Making a “Disrespectful” Remark about Mike Tyson, while Tyson Fury Advised to Reflect on Himself

Carl Froch has called out Jake Paul.

Carl Froch has slammed both Jake Paul and Tyson Fury following comments made in the build-up to Paul’s controversial fight with Mike Tyson.

The fight is scheduled for the 20th of July at the AT&T stadium, with Netflix making its first foray into live combat sports by exclusively streaming the event.

Many have been quick to criticise the boat, with UFC boss Dana White quick to call out the 31-age difference between the two fighters.

Another who has made his feelings on the fight very clear is former professional boxer Carl Froch. With a highly commendable professional record of 33 wins and 2 losses, Foch retired from the sport in 2015 but still makes his voice heard in the boxing world.

In a recent interview with Instant Casinos, Froch called out Tyson Fury for his defense of Paul with Fury having stated influencer boxing is a good thing for the sport.

“No, it’s not good for boxing. For Tyson Fury to say that it’s good for boxing…he needs to look in the mirror, have a look at what he’s done, have a look at what professional fighters do and what they go through, and then think to himself, this is Jake Paul, a performing clown jumping in there with a 57-year-old man, who is a legend and an icon in professional boxing,” Froch explained.

The 46-year-old continued to pull no punches and admitted he would love to see Tyson knock the YouTuber out.

“He’s an absolute f**king idiot for fighting Mike Tyson. It’s wrong. It should be stopped. Listen, I hope Tyson goes in there for 30 seconds, unleashes hell on Jake Paul, flattens him, and does boxing proud. Jake Paul’s been dead disrespectful as well in his build-up,” Froch admitted.

Froch also personally called Paul out for a potential fight in the future.

“He’s been biting ears off and trying to mimic Mike Tyson and copy him. I just don’t find it funny. If he had any bollocks about him, he’d fight me, wouldn’t he? I’d love to punch his teeth down the back of his throat,” Froch firmly stated.

Showdown of Wealth: AJ, Tyson Fury, Ronaldo, and the Saudi Mogul – Who Reigns as the Richest?

Joshua and Ngannou will compete in a heavyweight match tomorrow night. The photocall comes before that.

Four extremely affluent athletes seem spot on in a billion-pound lineup alongside a Saudi magnate.

Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and promoter Turki Alalshikh joined boxers Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Francis Ngannou in Riyadh.

In Riyadh, Cristiano Ronaldo and Turki Alalshikh joined Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Francis Ngannou.Joshua, who is reportedly worth £200 million, made a rare combined appearance with his £125 million foe Fury.

Their total wealth is slightly more than half of Ronaldo’s reportedly acquired £600 million.

With an estimated net worth of £70 million, Alalshikh—nicknamed His Excellency—is the group’s richest member, with £5 million. Ngannou, on the other hand, is the least wealthy.

A boxing source said: “This is literally a billion dollar picture.

“When you look at those stars and how much they are worth, as well as Mr Alalshikh, the mind boggles.

“He holds the influence and the purse strings. Saudi is looking to overtake Vegas as the fight capital of the world and Alalshikh is a massive part of that.”

The picture was taken in advance of Joshua’s heavyweight matchup with Ngannou, a former mixed martial arts champion, on tomorrow night.

WBC champion Fury is in Saudi Arabia on May 18 to face IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk. He is come to support his brother Roman, who is competing on the undercard.

He posted online: “I want the winner after I smash the rabbit.”

Alalshikh also hinted at a future collaboration with Ronaldo, who, after joining the Saudi team Al-Nassr in 2022, is now the highest-paid football player in history.

The Portuguese megastar has a reported £173million salary, plus multiple deals with sponsors including Armani and Tag Heuer.

AJ — who has said he wants to become a billionaire — is raking in about £10million a fight, and the bankable star enjoys a string of commercial tie-ups.

Fury’s earnings rocketed when he beat then-world champ Wladimir Klitshcko in 2015.

The Gypsy King now commands huge purses for each fight, with claims he will bank about £100million for the Usyk showdown.

Cameroon-born Ngannou was reportedly paid about £500,000 for his last UFC heavyweight bout – but his earnings have soared since he switched to boxing.

He knocked Fury down in their fight last October before losing on points.

Fury and Ngannou battled each other in Saudi last year.

Joshua will face Ngannou this week after the UFC champ managed to knock Fury down in their fight.

Unveiling the Unspoken: ‘British Mike Tyson’s’ Unique Connection with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua through Sparring.

Which heavyweight has the strongest punch was disclosed by Itauma.

After being compared to Mike Tyson, MOSES ITAUMA is considered the heavyweight boxing champion of the future.

The 19-year-old defeated Dan Garber last week to improve his record to 8-0.

Tyson Fury has touted Moses Itauma for greatness.

He and Anthony Joshua have also fought.

Having previously trained under the greatest in sparring sessions with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, he has a bright future ahead of him.

When asked if the Gypsy King strikes harder than Joshua, Itauma had a surprising answer, despite the fact that she thinks the Gypsy King is the superior boxer.

In response, he stated on talkSPORT: “No, but he’s so special. Joshua gave me a rather severe blow.

“I sparred him [Joshua] when I was 16. I only did a couple of rounds, but that was enough.”

When they sparred, Fury gave the young fighter some advice, and he thinks he held his own against the world champion.

Itauma further disclosed that there was an unspoken understanding between the two celebrities and him not to knock each other out.

“I haven’t wobbled,” he continued. We are large men. It just takes one shot for either of us to knock the other person out.

“Let’s say, I go in there and I knock someone out in sparring, they can’t spar for six weeks and I’m going to struggle to get a sparring partner.

“You don’t really learn from knocking people out in sparring.”

Itauma continued: “If I go in there, he’s just tapping and I’m trying to knock him out, I’ll look like a… you know.

“If he goes in there and tries to knock me out, but I’m going easy, it doesn’t make sense. So you have an unspoken agreement.

“You feel out what the first minute is like and you gauge it from there.”

Meghan Markle wears £2,275 designer sundress in blistering heat on Nigeria trip with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle showed off her incredible sense of style as she stepped out in a stunning summer dress to stay cool during her trip to Nigeria with husband Prince Harry

Meghan Markle splashed the cash on a stylish sundress in a bid to keep cool on her tour of Nigeria with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was seen stepping out in the searing 95F heat in the stunning dress with a black and cream leaf print and cut-out details to the bust, as well as a thigh-high leg split in the design. Johanna Ortiz’s Tropicana Nights dress also features thick black and cream embellished straps to add to the chic and modern look.

Meghan forked out a whopping £2,275 for the dress, which she wore with confidence as she strolled hand in hand with Harry for the visit. The Duchess added an array of gold jewellery to her look including domed earrings and several bracelets, with her long dark hair styled in a simple ponytail.

The pair headed to a sitting volleyball game that saw Harry join in the action as Meghan cheered him on from the sidelines. However, his Nigeria Unconquered team lost on the day 21-25 to the Chief of Defence staff squad.

The pair were praised for their “authenticity” as they stepped out at the event for Nigeria Unconquered, a local charity organisation that supports wounded, injured, or sick servicemembers, in Abuja. This comes as part of their visit to Nigeria, amid celebrations of the 10th Invictus Games anniversary.

Body language expert Judi James says the couple’s unified display showed genuine feelings and encouraged others to feel the same. She said: “The couple’s body language displays do hit exactly the right note here as they drop some of the performance signals of royals on tour and opt instead for some rituals that convey authentic and contagious enthusiasm and excitement.

“Meghan’s smile is so intense it creates a dimpling on her upper cheeks and eye-wrinkling. She uses face gazing and leading techniques on the rather shy-looking children she meets and crouches to their height to make communications more effective.”

Judi then explained how Harry’s enthusiasm showed signs of him wanting to join in the action. She continued; “Harry is a welter of enthusiasm, walking with a wide stride and watching the sports with all the active rituals of someone enjoying a cup final. He looks as though he would like to be out there joining in.”

Judi also noted how while Meghan and Harry put on a loving display for bystanders, they made an effort to keep a steady level of affection to not overshadow the event. She said: “The couple have also tempered their loving and bonding rituals to perhaps not upstage the event. Their hand clasp registers their togetherness but the fingers aren’t meshed making it more of a relaxed gesture that can easily be broken when they want to mingle.”

  • Prince Harry asked for ‘secret meeting’ with King Charles and William over ‘the state of things’

Prince Harry asked for ‘secret meeting’ with King Charles and William over ‘the state of things’

Prince Harry said he arranged a ‘secret meeting’ with Prince William and King Charles in April 2021, one month after he and Meghan Markle were interviewed by Oprah Winfrey

Prince Harry said he asked for a “secret meeting” with his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, to discuss “the state of things” when he travelled to the UK to attend Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021.

The Duke of Sussex wrote in his memoir, ‘Spare’, that when he flew back to London to attend his grandfather’s funeral, he also thought it could be a good time to meet his father and brother for a chat. It was the first time Harry travelled England since he and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals and moved to the US, where they now live with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

It was also the first time Harry met his family since he and the Duchess of Sussex took part in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which they shared details of their struggles within the Royal Family and opened up on the reasons that brought them to step away and move to another country. In his book, which was published in January 2023, Harry admitted he felt anxious, while waiting for William and Charles to arrive at their meeting – and at some point, he thought they had changed their mind and would no longer meet him.

However, he said that at some point he saw his father and brother with a “grim, almost menacing” look as they headed towards him. The Duke recalled that when he gave them “a weak smile”, they did not smile back, which made him feel “a hugely intense vulnerability” and made him think of his late mum, Princess Diana, with the hope she could give him strength during the meeting.

Harry revealed that when he said hello to his brother “Willy” and his father, whom he affectionately called “Pa”, they replied with a single and “painfully tepid” word: “Harold.” Harry wrote: “At last, I saw them. Shoulder to shoulder, striding towards me, they looked grim, almost menacing. More, they looked tightly aligned. My stomach dropped. Normally they’d be squabbling about one thing or another, but now they appeared to be in lockstep – in league. The thought occurred: Hang on, are we meeting for a walk…or a duel?

‌”I rose from the wooden bench, made a tentative step towards them, gave a weak smile. They didn’t smile back. Now my heart really started thrashing in my chest. Deep breaths, I told myself. Apart from fear, I was feeling a kind of hyper-awareness, and a hugely intense vulnerability, which I’d experienced at other key moments of my life. Walking behind my mother’s coffin. Going into battle for the first time. Giving a speech in the middle of a panic attack.

‌”There was that same sense of embarking on a quest, and not knowing if I was up to it, while also fully knowing that there was no turning back. That Fate was in the saddle. OK, Mummy, I thought, picking up the pace, here goes. Wish me luck. We met in the middle of the path. Willy? Pa? Hello. Harold. Painfully tepid.”

In the book, Harry also revealed that he got the nickname “Spare” by his father, Charles. Harry revealed that after Princess Diana gave birth to him, his dad said: “Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare – my work is done.”

The Guardian newspaper noted that Prince Harry has always felt resentful of his nickname, and aired his frustration in his memoir. The newspaper said: “Harry’s resentment of being the ‘spare’ is the underlying theme of his book, through chapters on his childhood, his schooling, his career as a royal and in the British Army, his relationship with his parents and brother, and his life with Meghan through courtship, wedding and marriage, to their own experience of parenthood. ”

Meghan Markle ‘delighted’ as royal titles on display in Nigeria – but Prince Harry seems ‘surprised’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry found themselves being addressed by their Royal titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they attended an event during their current trip to Nigeria

Meghan Markle was left delighted when her and husband Prince Harry were addressed with their Royal titles in Nigeria, an expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen attending a Sit Out at the Nigerian Defence Headquarters in Abuja on May 11, as part of their visit to the country to help celebrate the Invictus Games anniversary. Dressed in a simple figure-hugging white bandeau dress, Meghan appeared delighted as she soaked up the culture of the event.

She wore her hair in a sleek updo and accessorised with an array of jewellery including a sparkling cross pendant worn around her neck. Harry meanwhile complimented her look in a cream linen suit worn with a white shirt and dark-coloured tie as they greeted guests

As the pair headed to their seats inside the bash, they were marked with labels which very clearly referred to them as their official titles of “Duke” and “Duchess.” Body language expert Judi James believes the gesture was well received by Meghan who appeared “delighted,” but that Harry was a little less comfortable appearing somewhat “surprised” at the titles being used.

Judi also pointed out that the Duke was displaying a certain degree of discomfort as they took up their place in the venue. She said: “Meghan looks relaxed and delighted here to be given their royal titles but Harry’s body language suggests a degree of awkwardness.”

Judi elaborated further as she explained how Harry’s facial expression and positioning are a giveaway about his hidden feelings. She continued: “He is sat upright and with a bemused facial expression as though not quite sure how to enjoy the praise being lavished on them. His legs are splayed but his back is straight and his brows are raised in an expression of surprise while his wife’s wreathed smile looks excited and authentically relaxed and cheerful.”

The Sussexes were invited to Nigeria by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, who met Harry last September at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany. Their invite came after Meghan found out about her Nigerian heritage.

The outing comes after Harry gave a moving speech about mental health while the couple visited a school on Friday. Speaking to the children and addressing the room, the Duke said: “In some places around the world, more than you would believe, there is a stigma against mental health. Too many people don’t want to talk about it because it’s invisible, it’s in your mind and we can’t see it.”

He added: “There is no shame to be able to acknowledge that today is a bad day. Okay? If you woke up this morning feeling sad, if you left school feeling stressed, if you’ve lost a loved one in your family who you usually turn to or speak to, all of these things you may be led to believe are not for conversation.

“We are here today to tell you that that is not the case. Every single one of those things is completely normal. It is a human reaction, whether it’s grief, stress, whatever the feeling is, it comes from experiences you have had.”

David Beckham and King Charles compared beekeeping tips during a private meeting at Highgrove before the former England football captain was named a King’s Foundation ambassador

David Beckham and the King compared “beekeeping tips” when they met ahead of the ex-England football captain being named a King’s Foundation ambassador.

The former sporting star was confirmed as an official supporter of Charles’s charitable organisation a few weeks after he reportedly met the monarch privately to learn more about its work.

Beckham said: “I’m excited to be working with the King’s Foundation and to have the opportunity to help raise awareness of the charity’s work. I’ve always been keen to help young people to expand their horizons and I’m particularly looking forward to supporting the foundation’s education programmes and its efforts to ensure young people have greater access to nature.”

In photographs released to mark the announcement, Beckham is pictured with the King on the doorstep of Highgrove, Charles’s Gloucestershire retreat, and shown trying out his carpentry skills with foundation students taking part in woodworking courses at the Snowdon School of Furniture.

The foundation is the custodian of the Highgrove gardens and offers workshops, programmes and short courses focused on heritage and craft skills at its Barley Court education centre on the estate.

Alongside its education programmes to protect traditional skills, the foundation, based at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire, aims to revitalise communities through urban regeneration and planning, and support sustainable food production and teach rural skills.

Beckham said: “Having developed a love for the countryside I’m also on a personal mission to learn more about rural skills which is so central to the foundation’s work. It was inspiring to hear from the King about the work of His Majesty’s foundation during my recent visit to Highgrove Gardens – and compare beekeeping tips!”

Since reportedly buying a converted barn in the Cotswolds, Beckham has posted on social media about his bee keeping. He uploaded an Instagram video on World Bee Day last year showing him working on a beehive and in another post he is pictured next to a hive with the words “Be kind & they will be calm”.

The former footballer joins other foundation ambassadors like The Repair Shop presenter Jay Blades, who represents building crafts, Alan Titchmarsh, horticulture, and Sarah Beeny, buildings and heritage.

Married to former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham since 1999, the ex-midfield player has gone on to co-own the US team Inter Miami, which signed Lionel Messi last summer.

Amaia Arrieta—a children’s clothing designer who has dressed Wales kids Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, on multiple occasions—recently opened up about the family in a recent interview with The Telegraph.

“I’m heartbroken at the moment. I think they are going through hell,” she told the publication. “I hope they will be back. It’s really personal.”

Arrieta has been involved in dressing the little royals since Prince George was a baby. “Dressing the royals gives me so much pride; I really do care about how they look,” she said. “The first time I realized Prince George was wearing my designs, I was in Waitrose and saw the picture of him on the cover of Hello! magazine. That was a huge moment, because they had been coming to us, but you never know if they’ll actually wear it.”

The Spanish-born designer has also crafted a number of looks the kids have worn to milestone occasions, including family christenings, Princess Eugenie’s 2018 wedding, and the annual walk to morning church service on Christmas Day, according to the outlet.

Kate announced she had been diagnosed with a cancer in a personal video message shared to social media on March 22. While she didn’t specify what type of cancer she has or what stage the disease has progressed to, she explained that her medical team identified the cancer when she underwent an abdominal surgery in mid-January. She is now undergoing preventative chemotherapy to treat the condition.

Since then, Kensington Palace has not provided any further updates on the princess’s health. Meanwhile, Prince William—who took a brief break from work following Kate’s announcement, before officially returning to public-facing duties in April—recently offered a rare update on his family, telling a well-wisher last week, “We’re all doing well.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle blasted as ‘exploitative’ as couple have ‘lost trust’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “upset” the late Queen Elizabeth II and now no one trusts them, a royal commentator claimed.

Piers Morgan says royal family doesn’t ‘trust’ Harry and Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded “exploitative” by a royal commentator, who claimed the pair have lost everyone’s “trust”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly hurt the feelings of the late Queen Elizabeth after they reportedly decided to name their youngest daughter Lilibet without her permission.

Lilibet was the late monarch’s nickname, which was only used by close family members.

Now royal expert Phil Dampier hit out at the couple and their “exploitative” methods and touched down on the late Queen’s refusal to have her photograph with her great-grandchild.

He told The Sun: “I don’t think she [Queen Elizabeth] was very pleased that it was presented to her as a fate of conflict that the name Lilibet was chosen in the first place, I think she was a little bit upset by that.

He added: “Even if the Queen might have been, you know, struggling with her health, I think she was still sharp as a tack and she realised that any photograph that was taken of her with Lilibet could have been exploited.

“So yes she put her foot down and said no photographs and I must admit, I don’t blame her, but it’s sad we’ve never seen one.”

The expert went on to claim that the royals now fear that anything relating to the Sussexes will end up being published.

He explained: “The big fear that the late Queen had and that the King now has is that when [Harry and Meghan] turn up, they do tend to turn up with a sort of Netflix film crew or a photographer in tow.

“You always get the feeling that whatever happens, whatever the discussions are, that it’s going to sooner or later end up on a programme or in some sort of podcast.

“And that’s unfortunately where the trust has gone and they just don’t trust [Harry].

It comes as Prince Harry did not meet with this father, King Charles, during his recent trip to the UK last month.

The monarch was reportedly “busy” attending other royal engagements, which prevented him from seeing his younger son.
