The brothers, who are the older children of David and Victoria Beckham, enjoyed dinner at the upscale Il Pastaio restaurant earlier in the evening.

Brooklyn, 25, cut a casual figure in a white long-sleeved top which he paired with matching trainers and tan trousers.

Romeo, 21, opted for a double denim outfit in a matching jacket and jeans which he wore with a beige top.

Sporting a blonde buzz cut, the footballer completed his look with a silver necklace and matching stud earrings.

Brooklyn’s car, a modified electric Lunaz, is said to be worth $500k (£383,502).

David, 48, is an investor in the restoration company Lunaz, which electrified and re-engineered the 1956 Jaguar XK140. He took a 10 per cent stake in June 2021.

Jaguar Cars launched the XK140 at the London Motor Show in October 1954 and was produced until 1957.

The sports car is an advancement over its predecessor, the XK120, as it is now more comfortable and capable of completing long-distance trips.

The styling was enhanced with a revised grille featuring fewer and thicker slats, larger bumpers, and new rear lights, which now have indicators.

But the aspiring chef’s vehicle is worth much more than the standard value market price of around £75,000 after the already improved motor underwent serious modifications.

This is one of many collectable motors Brooklyn owns, as he has been spotted in an array of sport and vintage motors.

The car-lover has previously been spotted in a ruby red £300,000 McLaren 765LT sports car.

The McLaren 765LT is one of only 765 ever produced, and its exclusivity will undoubtedly boost its already eye-watering price tag.

The car was a striking red with black accents and had stylish butterfly doors.

Brooklyn has also seen previously boasting a gorgeous black McLaren MP4-12C Spider.

But his most recent favourite appears to be the Cotswold blue Jag, as he was also spotted in the same car earlier this month in Beverly Hills.

Spice Girls Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton’s leaked conversations leave the band members red-faced as they expose unflattering messages and ‘catty’ remarks about Victoria

Several members of the Spice Girls were left ‘furious’ this week after unflattering details from a conversation emerged in court documents, according to reports.

Mel BGeri Halliwell and Emma Bunton are said to have been left red-faced after a private conversation between the group was leaked in a defamation case.

According to The Sun, Mel B told her bandmates Geri and Emma that ‘charity doesn’t pay the bills’, during an apparent discussion about reuniting for a gig.

The publication reported that the leaked messages – which were revealed as part of a defamation case in the United States on Wednesday – have infuriated the stars.

It is expected that the embarrassment will continue over a catty exchange between the three band members over their now close-pal Victoria Beckham.

While the group are seemingly thick as thieves again now, there is apparently a string of emails gossiping about the way Victoria acted at the Viva Forever! West End musical premiere on December 11, 2012.

The fashion designer delayed the curtain call of the West End musical based on the Spice Girls’ biggest hits by 15 minutes after getting stuck in traffic.

Once she arrived, she decided to set separately from the rest of the group, taking her seat two rows behind the other women with her husband David and their kids.

According to the publications insider, Victoria’s snub did not go down well with Mel B in particular.

The move came just months after the group lauded ‘girl power’ and reunited as a five-piece at the London Olympics closing ceremony.

It has also been reported that they called in legal assistance in case Victoria tried to stop them from going ahead with a potential tour.

Years later, Mel B, Geri and Emma are said to have planned a comeback – which never happened – without Victoria and Mel C.

It is awkward timing for the group, who now on seemingly good terms after recently celebrating Victoria’s 50th birthday together at her party in London.

The Spice Girls reunite at Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday bash

Hopefully the emergence of a group chat between Geri, Emma and Mel B won’t cause any tension between the pals.

The report claims that after Mel commented that ‘charity doesn’t pay’, Geri told her that she ‘hopes nobody ever hacks your texts’.

Mel allegedly responded: ‘Why? My texts are fine,’ before adding: ‘Like I said charity doesn’t pay the bills everyone knows that.’

The source said: ‘This is highly embarrassing for the girls as it doesn’t exactly chime with their core messages. But obviously it was a fair few years ago now and they’ve all kissed and made up since then.

‘Just look at how happy they were together celebrating Victoria’s 50th birthday back in April, belting out their greatest hits together after a few drinks. The hatchet is well and truly buried.’

MailOnline contacted a representative for the Spice Girls for comment.

The leak will be unwelcome news to Geri, who has already been engulfed in a leaked messages scandal with her husband Christian Horner earlier this year.

On Wednesday, Geri made her first public appearance alone on at the Hay Festival where she is promoting her latest book, Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen.

Geri beamed as she held a signing for her new novel which features main character Rosie, the star describes as ‘a new kind of hero for today’s young readers.’

One onlooker said: ‘Geri looked really smiley and happy. She was having her photo take with loads of kids and even two female police officers who had used their lunch break to meet her.

‘There were lots of people queuing to see their favourite Spice Girl.’

Before her talk the former Spice Girl hung out in the festival’s authors tent alongside the BBC football pundit, Gary Lineker.

According to an insider, Geri was in great spirits asking the staff ‘thousands’ of questions, taking interest in fellow speakers and asking for copies of books – in particular, one about the importance of mushrooms.

However, she refused to address her anguish over leaked flirtatious messages which her husband of nine years, Red Bull boss Christian, allegedly sent to a female colleague when asked by the Mail.

In February he found himself under investigation following an accusation of ‘inappropriate behaviour’, for which he was later cleared.

The woman, in her 40s, went to HR at the Formula 1 team after she received the messages from Horner, often late at night.

She accused him of ‘coercive behaviour’ but an internal inquiry chaired by an unknown KC appointed by Red Bull cleared him. Horner has strongly denied any wrongdoing.

  • How did the Mango deal help Victoria Beckham’s designs rise to the top?

How did the Mango deal help Victoria Beckham’s designs rise to the top?

Collections by ex-Spice Girl had been too dear for most but deal with affordable chain forecast to help tip VB business into profit

When Victoria Beckham debuted her first collection of just 10 dresses in a luxury hotel suite at the Waldorf Astoria in New York in 2008,

she told the sceptical assembly of the world’s most powerful fashion editors that she had “spent a lifetime wanting to do this”.

“It’s what I always dreamed of since I customised my school uniform when I was 7 years old,” she said. “Then along came the Spice Girls which opened a lot of doors for me.

And, let’s be honest, closed a lot. But those days are over. I was never going to be the world’s best singer, but I hope I can be a good designer.”

The debut dresses immediately impressed the editors, who described the designs as “classy” and “sophisticated”.

Vogue’s runway editor said Beckham’s sheath and shift dresses would “sell not on the power of her name but on the sophistication of their cut and fit.”

Since then, Beckham’s designs have been worn by Lady Gaga, Meghan Markle and Kendall Jenner, to name a few of her celebrity fans.

But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the business, which has lost money every year since its launch in New York 16 years ago. Total losses for Victoria Beckham Ltd amount to more than £65m, and David Beckham’s company has injected millions to keep it afloat.

Now, Victoria Beckham’s designs – previously unaffordable for most people – have hit the high street in a capsule collaboration with Mango.

The deal is expected to help tip her business into profit for the first time and has got some speculating whether Victoria, who is known in the fashion industry simply as VB, may one day eclipse her husband in money-making potential.

It’s impossible to know just how rich the Beckhams are. The couple, who live mostly in a £30m white stucco townhouse in west London but also own an apartment in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, a villa on the nearby Palm Jumeirah, and a super yacht called Seven, have a combined fortune of £425m. This puts them 325th in the latest comprehensive guesstimate by the Sunday Times rich list.

It ascribes most of the wealth to David, who sold a 55% stake in his brand management firm, DB Ventures, to US firm Authentic Brands for £200m.

David joined star names such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, whose brands are part of the Authentic stable, which also includes Reebok, Juicy Couture and Hunter wellington boots.

The latest accounts for his company DRJB Holdings – which stands for David Robert Joseph Beckham – show revenue in 2022 more than doubled from £34m to £72.6m, although pre-tax profits fell from £23.6m to £10.8m, because of an increase in administrative expenses. The company paid out dividends of £827,500, down from £6.3m a year earlier.

DRJB includes his TV production business, Studio 99, which produced the four-part Beckham documentary on Netflix that took the top spot in 59 countries, and the Ronnie O’Sullivan biopic The Edge of Everything.

Victoria Beckham Ltd, which has expanded into bags, fragrances and beauty products as well as fashion, increased revenue by 44% in 2022 to £58.8m, and narrowed pre-tax losses from £5.9m to £3.1m.

At an operating level, losses fell from £3.9m to £900,000 signalling progress on the path to profitability. The directors declared “2022 marks a turning point where the group became profitable”. However, the couple and minority investor private equity firm NEO Investments Partners injected a further £6.9m since the year end.

David Belhassen, founder and managing partner of NEO, which invested £30m in VBL in 2017 for an undisclosed but significant minority stake, told WWD magazine recently that sales had increased by 50% and earnings before expenses had “significantly multiplied” in 2023.

“The house of VB is now fully live, and a reality. It was a dream for Victoria and I when we partnered, and it is happening. We are now embarking on a new phase with only the sky as the limit,” he said.

Her Victoria Beckham Beauty business reported a tripling of customers in 2022, and won 28 industry awards. The bestseller is her Satin Kajal liner, which is now available in 17 colours.

Jonathan Siboni, chief executive of data intelligence company Luxurynsight, said many people in the fashion industry had been too quick to dismiss Beckham as “just a Spice Girl and not a businessperson”.

“But they couldn’t have been more wrong,” he said. “The brand has succeeded because of her. She has fought back, she has evolved, she has shown huge amounts of resilience.

“Yes, there have been times when the brand was tacky, and produced things that didn’t work,” he said. “But just like David Beckham as a footballer, you can’t always be the best. What matters is not one game, or even one season, but the big picture.”

Siboni said Victoria had succeeded in creating a brand that is “her vision, but also more than just her”. “In fashion, some brands can’t survive without the founder, others like Dior and Chanel continue to thrive,” he said.

“She has already taken steps to disconnect the Victoria Beckham brand from the person, and even if she is not on TV or social media for a few months, people will still buy her clothes.”

She is unlikely to disappear from our screens anytime soon. More than 30 years after the Spice Girls were formed after an advert in the Stage newspaper for “streetwise, outgoing, ambitious, and dedicated” 18- to 23-year-olds, Beckham still regularly goes viral on social media.

Most recently last weekend when all five reunited for an impromptu performance at Beckham’s 50th birthday party at Mayfair private members restaurant Oswald’s in front of Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek and Eva Longoria. She has 39.2m followers on Instagram and 2.2m on TikTok.

Andy Milligan, founder of the branding consultancy The Caffeine Partnership and author of Brand It Like Beckham, said he credited a large part of the couple’s success to their seeming authenticity on social media and TV. “They project an image that, despite their exceedingly glamorous lifestyle, makes them feel approachable, they’re very relatable to us,” he said.

“You saw that in the Netflix documentary when David teases her about claiming to be working class despite her dad driving her to school in a Rolls-Royce, and when he queued with the public to pay his respects to the Queen.”

Milligan said he expects the Beckhams’ businesses will continue to grow and “we will look back on them as a great British export”.

“What they have as a couple is extremely rare, because they have sport, fashion and popular culture, so they can dominate both the front and back pages.”

He says partnering with Mango is likely to turbo-boost Victoria’s brand as it “gives her much more reach with products in physical stores in just about every city I can think of”.

Milligan says Victoria has a reputation for picking effective brand and business partners, and Mango works because it is “a desirable brand, and affordable rather than luxury … which will keep her relevant to a younger generation.

“Victoria hasn’t in the past received the credit she deserves as a very smart businessperson. She’s so much more than a Spice Girl, she’s clearly a talented designer and has a brilliant business brain.”

  • How spectacularly did Lionel Messi help David Beckham prove Mark Wahlberg wrong?

How spectacularly did Lionel Messi help David Beckham prove Mark Wahlberg wrong?

Lionel Messi has shown Mark Wahlberg’s comments about David Beckham’s ability to grow ‘soccer’ to be incorrect.

The public fallout from the bitter breakdown of the friendship between Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham continues,

but it seems the English football icon is having the last laugh as he proved his former friend wrong with one prediction.

The globally recognised duo are currently locking legal horns as it was revealed that the ex-Manchester United winger has taken legal action against the Hollywood star,

along with F45 founders Adam Gilchrist and Rob Deutsch. Beckham’s company, DB Ventures Ltd, claims that Wahlberg “duped” him into collaborating with F45,

with the former Real Madrid superstar reportedly losing $10.5 million as his shares were held back until share prices fell.

However, Wahlberg and his team have refuted these allegations, with the ensuing controversy making headlines on both sides of the Atlantic. Despite the pair having been close previously, even being neighbours, it seems there has been some tension between them since the early days of Beckham’s move to America.

His adversary, known for his role in “Ted”, made remarks about the former LA Galaxy midfielder as far back as 2009 – just two years into his stint in the MLS in the US. Commenting on the effect of the star’s arrival on his local area, Wahlberg told the Daily Mail: “Man, the Beckhams. It used to be so quiet on my road.”

“Then David moves in with his family. Suddenly we’ve got paparazzi hanging out day and night. Now they’ll follow any car that drives down the road. I take strong exception to that kind of thing. When I take my kids to the park I don’t want strangers sticking their lenses into our faces.”, reports the Mirror US.

On top of his clear dismay surrounding the media circus that had accompanied Beckham’s presence in California, he also had some choice words to say about his sport of choice. Predicting that his designs on improving the popularity of soccer in the US would prove fruitless, he continued: “I’m not telling Beckham to take his family home.

“I’m just not sure why he came to America in the first place. Man, we don’t want your soccer. There’s no way Americans are going to buy the idea of 90 minutes of running around without much happening. Thanks for trying guys, but we’ll stick to baseball and basketball.”

Fast forward some 15 years, however, and it appears that Beckham has very much defied his naysayers in this regard, with his own career in MLS having provided a launchpad for his co-ownership of Inter Miami. Establishing the club back in 2018, the franchise was eventually able to pull off arguably the most significant transfer in American soccer history in 2023.

Finally, with World Cup winner and eight-time Ballon d’Or recipient Messi making his way to Florida, the sport has seen a surge in popularity stateside in recent months. With record attendances at stadiums that followed his rockstar-like reception across the US, the legendary winger’s move to Miami has been welcomed by large sections of the American populace.

In this regard, Beckham’s aspiration of changing the perception of soccer in the country ultimately came true as “Messi Mania” seized the nation following his switch from PSG. Considering the fact that the World Cup is set to be hosted by the US in 2026, the arrival of the Argentinian superstar may well be considered the turning point in America finally embracing soccer.

This clearly reinforces Messi’s influence is undeniable, and the Argentine legend has assisted Beckham in defying Wahlberg’s dismissive statements about his sport.

John Lennon ‘s son has brutally branded Prince Harry an “idiot” who “deserves to be mocked” in a social media rant.

Sean Ono Lennon, 48, sparked outrage among royal fans after posting a scathing joke about Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare’, which was published in January 2023. The country musician wrote on X, formerly called Twitter : “My long-awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography is two words. ‘Spare Me.’”

After being criticised by several fans of Harry, the musician doubled down on his criticism, mentioning the “todger” episode that Harry wrote about in his book – in which the Duke of Sussex recalled how he treated his frostbitten penis with his late mother’s favourite lip cream. But social media users defended Harry, mentioning the tragedies he has been through, such as Princess Diana’s death when he was young.

Someone pointed out that the musician and Harry have a lot in common, he mentioned he met Harry once before going on to describe him as “an idiot”. He stated: “Actually I am aware [that we have things in common]. We met once. That was before I realised he was an idiot.”

The Oscar winner then defended his initial post as he explained: “It was a pun. But he deserves to be mocked after that todger episode. He’ll be fine.” But after many on social media rallied in support of the duke, also pointing out that his memoir became a best-seller shortly after publication, Lennon addressed Harry’s past tragedies, saying: “That is very sad. I don’t hold any of that against him. It’s the stupidity that bothers me.”

He added: “Just because I made a joke does not mean I don’t empathise with him. I do actually. Also why I’m very disappointed with his outlook. I was hoping he’d be smarter.”

Lennon replied to another fan: “I do empathise with him generally. But the way he whines and wangs on about things is really too much.” He then said: “I’m just having a little fun. I think he’s earned some mockery. (I’m sure I have as well).”

Harry’s memoir was the best-selling book in the UK for last year. From accusing Prince William of hitting him to opening up about losing his virginity to an older woman in a field – Harry didn’t hold anything back. Royal family members were not painted in the best light in Harry’s book.

The Duke of Sussex claimed that William and his then-girlfriend Kate Middleton encouraged him to dress up in a Nazi uniform for a fancy dress party, an outfit that would draw extreme criticism. Other revelations in Harry’s memoir include how he was against Charles marrying Camilla and thought of her as the “wicked stepmother” at the time.

He also accused the future queen of having a “long-term strategy, a campaign directed at marriage and with time, the Crown (with the blessing of our father, we supposed).” According to The Bookseller, Harry’s memoir sold more than 700,000 copies. This was about 180,000 more than the second best-selling book, The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman.

Richard Osman had three other books appear in the top 20 – The Bullet That Missed, The Thursday Murder Club, and The Man Who Died Twice. Colleen Hoover, a romance author beloved by BookTok, the readers of TikTok, had three of her books appear in the top 20 as well.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last brought their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK, they had their final meeting with the late Queen – but according to an expert, the monarch turned down one thing

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be celebrating their daughter Princess Lilibet’s third birthday today.

And her celebrations will probably look a lot different to her first birthday two years ago when she celebrated in the UK. Her birthday coincided with the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and she along with big brother Prince Archie and their parents came to Britain for the event.

During the trip, the Queen got to meet her 11th great-grandchild and namesake Lilibet for the first time and was reunited with Archie after not seeing him for years. It was at this meeting that both Harry and Meghan were thought to be keen to get an official snap of great-grandmother and great-grandchild.

But according to The Sun, the Sussexes were told “no chance” when they asked the monarch’s permission. Meanwhile, writing in The Telegraph, royal expert Camilla Tominey claims Harry was “persistent” in wanting a photo to be taken. She says: “When the couple made another beeline for Windsor Castle, travelling straight there after landing at Farnborough Airport, she refused their request to have professional photographs taken with Archie, three, and her namesake Lilibet, one.

“Claiming she had a bloodshot eye, she adroitly denied the Sussexes the photo opportunity they craved. Harry was ‘persistent’, according to those party to the meeting, expressing a desire to get an official snap of the two Lilibets together at some point in the future. But of course, it was never to be. She died three months later.”

Lilibet as well as Archie are both growing up in California out of the spotlight – for the most part. Fans of Harry and Meghan don’t get much insight into what life is like in California for the two young royal children, but every so the Sussexes will let a sweet detail about their kids slip out as they go about their public work.

When Meghan and Harry recently travelled to Nigeria to strengthen international ties in the Invictus Games community, they went without their two children, but while they were visiting Meghan revealed a sweet detail about what Lilibet’s childhood is like behind closed doors.

Meghan revealed the rare insight during a visit to the Lightway Academy in Abuja, which has been given some funding by the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. The couple chatted with pupils from the Academy’s Kindergarten class, who performed a song and dance for the visiting royals.

“Is singing and dancing your favourite class?” Harry asked the children, with Meghan adding: “That’s Lili’s favourite class, maybe it’s all the jumping around.” Later she also revealed that one of Archie’s current interests is construction, after learning about some of the pupil’s interests in electronics.

Lilibet was born on June 4, 2021, at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. A statement said at the time: “Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”

She was christened at Harry and Meghan’s home in March 2023 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor. Among those at the intimate gathering were said to be Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, Lilibet’s godfather Tyler Perry and an unnamed godmother – although none of her royal relatives were at the service.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a few public appearances since King Charles and Kate Middleton’s health scares this month but have failed to comment on their family members’ wellbeing.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s comeback plan has backfired after their recent controversial public outings have come at a hard time for the Royal Family, according to an insider.

The Duke of Sussex attended Hollywood’s Living Legends of Aviation Awards earlier this month where his “weird” behaviour at the event left his team “holding heads in hands.”

During the glitzy ceremony, Harry made an unexpected quip about his father King Charles but made no comment on the monarch’s recent health battle.

The duchess made the wise decision to skip the event as she stayed at home to care for their two children who had taken ill.

However, just days later, the former Suits actress was at her husband’s side as they jetted out to Jamaica to attend the film premiere of the new Bob Marley film, the Mirror reports.

The couple raised eyebrows when they were seen cosying up to the Jamaican Prime Minister who has publicly made it clear that he wants his country to sever ties with the British monarchy.

The Sussexes surprise appearance came as King Charles received treatment for an enlarged prostate while Kate Middleton is also recovering from abdominal surgery.

Harry and Meghan did not publicly send their well wishes to either relative and it’s now been reported that the Royal Family are taking their recent outings as “yet another slap in the face”.

An insider told Heat Magazine: “They were already stinging from the criticism Harry got after the Aviation Awards, so she’d hoped this appearance would calm down the negativity.

“Instead, they’re being accused of insensitivity and even betrayal, which she believes is vindictive and ridiculous, given that they left the royal family ages ago and have every right to associate with whoever they like.

“But the view inside the royal family is that this is yet another example of them being tone-deaf.”

The duke’s explosive memoir Spare caused major tension between him and his already estranged family last year as he made some serious accusations against the monarch and his older brother Prince William.

Despite the success of the book, his attacks on his own blood have not won him any support from royal fans in recent months.

It was reported that the couple were planning on reconciling with the Royal Family this year after hearing the news of Kate and Charles’ poor health but their relationships are far from repaired.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sent a very “clear signal to the Palace” with an intentional move, it has been claimed.

After stepping down from their royal roles in 2020, The royal couple were both stripped of their HRH titles. It has now been reported that their monikers could be stripped even further, as they could lose their remaining Duke and Duchess titles, according to Sarah Vine.

Writing for her Daily Mail column, Sarah discussed Sussexes recent trip to Jamaica, where they attended the Bob Marley: One Love film premiere. They were even spotted with the country’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife, the Mirror reports.

The current Prime Minister of Jamaica has long criticised the country’s relationship with the Commonwealth and the British monarchy. He even formally announced plans for the country to become an independent republic in 2022.

Weighing in on this, Sarah Vine wrote: “By choosing to break cover in such vehemently anti-monarchist company, the Duke and Duchess appear to be sending a very clear signal to the Palace.

“It appears to me that they intend to use their royal connection to undermine both the individual reputations of members of the Royal Family and that of the institution as a whole. I hope that I am wrong.”

She then went on to add that the couple are “helping to fuel anti-royalist sentiment throughout the Commonwealth and elsewhere.”

This came after the couple attended the Bob Marley film premiere in Jamaica last week, with the duo putting on a united display as they posed for photos on the red carpet after they were invited to the star-studded event by Paramount Pictures and their CEO Brian Robbins.

Speculation has been rife that Meghan Markle plans to return to her previous career but she was once asked outright and she had a very blunt reply.

Meghan Markle was already well known when she joined the Royal Family thanks to her successful career as an actress. The star appeared in legal drama Suits for seven series as Rachel Zane, but famously stepped down from her previous career when she married Prince Harry in 2018.

Since the Duke and Duchess announced their decision to leave royal working life and settle in the US, there has been much speculation about Meghan’s future plans and whether or not she’ll return to Hollywood.

But when she was asked about the topic previously, she gave a very blunt response, as writes the Mirror.

During an interview with Vanity Fair just after Queen Elizabeth’s death in October 2022, Meghan was questioned about her old job.

She said: “I left Suits right after the 100th episode, in 2018. I didn’t think I’d ever be in the entertainment industry again. But the entire culture has changed; streamers have changed things. The ability to create zeitgeist moments like we had in the ’90s — where everyone would tune in at the same time for a show or gather for one moment? — that doesn’t happen anymore.

“When I was doing Suits, that character, Rachel Zane, was in your living room with you while you were in your pyjamas eating Chinese takeout. “That’s how connected the experience felt then. But to create a cultural moment or conversation requires something different today.

“Podcasting has been really interesting in that way. It might be one of the only remaining forums where people are alone to listen. Where else do you have that opportunity?”

Then when she was directly asked if she planned to go back to acting, Meghan replied: “No. I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not.”

Meanwhile, Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria recently declared the couple are working on a “couple of unscripted things” with the streaming platform, who they have a contract with until 2025.

When asked as she attended a Hollywood event what was next for Harry and Meghan, Bela said: “Oh, what are they working on? They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon.”

She added: “And they actually have, like, a bunch of development, they have a movie in development, a (scripted) series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great.”
