On Sunday, The Duke and Duchess will attend a basketball clinic with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception, and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

Prince Harry spent a few days in London this week to mark the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games, the competition for wounded, injured and sick veterans and serving armed forces members, and the commemoration was highlighted by a Service of Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Notably, while his celebration was taking place at the Cathedral, his father King Charles was only two miles away at Buckingham Palace, where he hosted a garden party. The father and son did not meet in the two days that Harry was in the city, due to what was said to be the King’s “full schedule. The prince was “understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon,” a spokesperson for the Duke of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 said.

The visit to Nigeria will continue with the Invictus Games theme, highlighting the adaptive sports competition for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans which Nigeria participated for the first time at the latest cycle in Germany in September 2023.

In 2022, the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 revealed that she had discovered via a geneology test that she was 43% Nigerian. Talking about it in her  podcast, she told comedian Ziwe, “I’m going to start to dig deeper into all this because anybody that I’ve told, especially Nigerian women, are like ‘What!’ ”

“This is huge for our community,” Ziwe, 30, said. “No, honestly, you do look like a Nigerian, you look like my Aunt Uzo. So this is great.”

Prince Harry and Meghan also spent time with the Nigerian team at the latest Invictus Games, where they posed for photos and gave Meghan a special nickname meaning “royal wife.”

Meghan Markle criticized for ‘odd’ decision to stay in LA with kids while Prince Harry is in London

Meghan Markle’s decision to stay home with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet during Prince Harry’s mad dash to London has been slammed as “odd.”

The Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍, 42, spent much of this week in her plush Montecito, Calif., pad with the pair’s two children — leaving the duke on his own during his quick trip.

And while it’s not the first time the “Suits” alum left her husband to his own devices on home soil, Markle jetted off to Nigeria this week, where she’ll be reunited with the duke on Thursday.

“Meghan seems to spend a lot of time in LA at home, she doesn’t tend to come over to the UK that much,” Grand Harrold, who worked for Charles for seven years when he was the Prince of Wales, exclusively told The Post.

Prince Harry ‘hit hard’ by Kate Middleton cancer battle as she and William are ‘going through hell’

“I don’t know if that’s because of what’s happened or because she is family orientated and wants to spend her time with the family,” he said on behalf of Fruity Slots, noting that “there must be a reason for it.”

“It does seem odd as to why she didn’t — I can only assume she wanted to stay home with the family, as that’s a big part of what she does,” Harrold added.

But as his estranged, cancer-stricken dad King Charles continues cancer treatment — much like the Princess of Wales to boot — questions were raised as to why Harry didn’t bring Archie and Lilibet with him so that they could see their ailing grandfather.

According to Harrold, the exiled royal “was aware” of his father’s jam-packed schedule — making it “tricky” for the kids to come along.

  • Prince Harry shares relatable mistake he made as Meghan Markle gave birth to son Archie

Prince Harry shares relatable mistake he made as Meghan Markle gave birth to son Archie

Prince Harry suffered an embarrassing moment during Prince Archie’s birth

Many people are nervous when they become first-time parents and it seems Prince Harry was no different.

Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together, Prince Archie, on May 6, 2019. Harry was very nervous ahead of the birth and decided to try something out to calm himself down – using the laughing gas that was meant for his wife.

The Duke of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 recalled the moment in his memoir, Spare. Setting the scene, he explained how Meghan was bouncing on a giant ball inside Portland Hospital in London when he took “several slow, penetrating hits.”

Writing in Spare, Harry said: “Meg, bouncing on a giant purple ball, a proven way of giving Nature a push, laughed and rolled her eyes. I took several more hits and now I was bouncing too.”

When Meghan’s labour began, however, Harry was forced to apologise for accidentally using the entire canister of laughing gas. He wrote: “When her contractions began to quicken, and deepen, a nurse came and tried to give some laughing gas to Meg.

“There was none left. The nurse looked at the tank, looked at me, and I could see the thought slowly dawning: Gracious, the husband’s had it all. Sorry, I said meekly.”

Luckily, the situation was quickly resolved by a much-needed replacement canister. Meghan saw the funny side and laughed at the situation, with Harry adding: “The nurse had to laugh, and quickly changed the canister.”

Archie will be turning five on Monday, with it believed King Charles will reach out to wish his grandson a happy birthday. Royal expert Tom Quinn claims the monarch has even discussed the idea of video-calling his son and grandson.

Speaking to The Mirror, the royal author said: “King Charles dislikes new technology, but is desperate to keep in touch with his grandchildren on the other side of the Atlantic so he will certainly call Harry and wish Archie Happy Birthday.

“Charles been asking about video calling, but according to his aides, he’s uncomfortable with the idea. If he makes an ordinary telephone call to Harry it means he can have a quick word with Archie without the need to talk to Meghan, a prospect that fills him with dread.”

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle given “dire warning” not to “abuse” trust of Kate Middleton, claims expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle given “dire warning” not to “abuse” trust of Kate Middleton, claims expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned not to “abuse” the trust placed in them when they were reportedly told of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.

Running contrary to the majority of reports out there, the Daily Mirror have today published a piece citing author and self-professed royal expert Tom Quinn, who claims that the Sussexes were in fact told of Kate’s diagnosis the rest of the world.

Yesterday we reported on how Harry and Meghan were said to have been kept in the dark regarding Kate’s cancer announcement, finding out along with the general public when the Princess issued her brave video on Friday.

Yet Quinn says that though the couple are “no longer in the primary loop” – meaning that they’re not automatically told when something big is about to go public, and information shared with them is considered on a case-by-case basis – they told about Kate’s diagnosis.

However their inclusion in the tiny group of people came with “dire warnings” that they not “abuse” the trust that the Royal Family was placing in them.

“Dire warnings were also apparently issued that Meghan and Harry were being trusted with the information in advance and mustn’t abuse that trust,” Quinn said, as per the Mirror.

“Meghan and Harry are no longer in the primary loop – when something is about to go public, they are told (or not told) on a case by case basis rather than being automatically included. The feeling in the family and among Kensington palace officials is that Meghan and Harry have to be very carefully managed simply because they can’t be trusted.”

On Friday evening Kate Middleton finally put an end to two months’ worth of wild speculation, revealing that cancer had been discovered in her body following the abdominal procedure she underwent in January.

The candid and, frankly, unprecedented video put to rest the growing storm of speculation as to the Princess’s wellbeing and whereabouts following a period of uncertainty wherein conspiracy theories were allowed to grow like weeds.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” Kate said in her video.

She continued: “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”

It remains to be seen if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will play any sort of role in Kate’s support network moving forward, with reports earlier this week suggesting that they had been kept entirely in the dark regarding Kate’s diagnosis and eventual announcement.

The Sussexes have grown further and further apart from the Royal Family since stepping down from their royal duties prior to moving to the US, and some sources say the couple learned of Kate’s tragic cancer news “at the same time as the public”.

The Times reported: “Several sources confirm that there were no such conversations and it is thought Harry found out about Kate’s diagnosis from television, at the same time as the public.”

In the wake of Kate’s video, Harry and Meghan released a brief statement reading:

Do you think this current time of royal crisis is the ideal setting for Harry and Meghan to try and extend an olive branch? Let us know in the comments.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly ready to leave their Montecito mansion after reports from neighbours that they’re ‘never in’.

The Sussexes live at the impressive £11m Montecito mansion with their two children, Archie and Lillibet.

And according to the Mirror, they’re reportedly looking at a cheaper £3m home in Malibu, California, after passing on the chance to purchase a plot of land at the end of last year.

Californian locals say the couple are “never seen” at their nine-bedroom property which was used to film parts of their bombshell Netflix series Harry & Meghan last year.

One local Barry Maher, a PR and communication whizz whose TV credits include the Today show and programmes on NBC, told The Mirror people are becoming irritated with the couple’s “travelling soap opera” amid the pair’s dramatic life in the spotlight.

“Harry and Meghan live down the street but in a considerably pricier spot, though nobody around here is exactly living in cardboard boxes,” he explained. “Since we never see them, local tolerance seems to mirror USA tolerance in general.

“People who like them seem to have an unlimited tolerance, no matter what they do, somehow tied to the ‘handsome prince falls for commoner’ fairytale. Everyone else is either unimpressed by the travelling soap opera or is just sick of hearing about them.”

Harry reportedly tried to ‘sabotage’ the couple’s move to Malibu in October last year after visiting New York City and feeling ‘at home’ there instead – despite the couple’s alleged high-speed chase through Manhattan in May.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'never at £11m home and plan to sell', neighbours say | Royal | News | Express.co.uk

A source said Harry enjoyed “the fast pace, the culture, the social scene.” They also said it would be easier for Harry to visit family in London if they lived in New York, as the flight time is shorter.

“Harry was all gung-ho for the Malibu move a few months ago. Yes, it was Meghan’s idea, but he was excited about it. It feels odd that now he wants out of that Californian life and is suggesting they buy a place in New York instead. It’s almost like he’s trying to sabotage things because it makes zero logical sense,” the source told Heat magazine.

They said Meghan is still hoping to remain near Los Angeles for work opportunities. The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly been travelling to LA for meetings “multiple times a week”, with work expected to increase as their projects go into production.

“She says maybe once they’ve made a success of things in Hollywood, they can look at getting a place in New York,” the source told the magazine back in October.

John Lennon’s Son Sean Confirms Receiving Death Threats After Mocking Prince Harry

Sean Ono Lennon has finally shared his thoughts on Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ and didn’t hold back. However, he received death threats after poking fun at it.

It’s been a week since the musician shared his thoughts on the book. Recently, he took to X to mention the threats he has been getting. He wrote:“I’ve had 3-4 death threats since making fun of Harry’s book title and then later saying it was justified because he’s an idiot and that he and I both deserve to be mocked. Yay internet.”

    Sean’s Earlier Comments

The son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono took to his official Twitter account and wrote his thoughts about the book. He suggested the Duke of Sussex could have named his memoir ‘Spare Me’:

“My long-awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography is two words: ‘Spare Me.’”

Lennon stood by his strong words even when fans of the Duke defended him. The musician continued:

“I do empathise with him generally. But the way he whines and wangs on about things is really too much. I’m just having a little fun. I think he’s earned some mockery. (I’m sure I have as well).”

Another user praised Prince Harry’s courage in opening up and writing his book. Lennon referred to Prince Harry’s account of frostbite on his genitals and jokingly replied:

“The todger story certainly took some courage.”

    A user slammed Sean, saying:

“Shame you don’t see how much you have in common. Both of your fathers are cheaters who chose their mistresses over their families. You both lost parents under tragic circumstances. The main difference is that he was pursued relentlessly by the press; you were all but forgotten.”

Sean then responded, saying he met him and insulted the Prince:

“Actually I am aware of it. We met once. That was before I realized he was an idiot.”

    Prince Harry’s Comments Caused Controversy

The Prince’s book got a lot of mockery from people and famous names alike. One particular part of the book was made fun of the most: The frostbite section. Lennon also commented on this when the memoir first came out in January 2023.

    Harry wrote:

“My penis was oscillating between extremely sensitive and borderline traumatized. The last place I wanted to be was Frostnipistan. I’d been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend. She’d urged me to apply Elizabeth Arden cream. My mum used that on her lips. ‘You want me to put that on my todger?’ ‘It works, Harry. Trust me.’ I found a tube, and the minute I opened it, the smell transported me through time. I felt as if my mother was right there in the room.”

Days after the book’s release, Lennon posted on X:

“When Harry’s editor read the sentence ‘My p*nis was oscillating between extremely sensitive, and borderline traumatized,’ did they not want to stage an intervention of some sort? I mean that is for sure one of the worst sentences ever written in the English language.”

  • Meghan Markle warns Prince Harry of ‘two outcomes’ if she continues to outperform him

Meghan Markle warns Prince Harry of ‘two outcomes’ if she continues to outperform him

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been warned of “two outcomes” if the Duchess continues to outshine the Duke.

The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 recently made headlines during their high-profile visit to Nigeria, sparking speculation as some observers noted that Harry appeared “worried” while Meghan seemingly stole the spotlight. This marked the duo’s first official international outing since their dramatic exit from Royal duties four years ago, following closely on the heels of Harry’s solo return to the UK for the Invictus Games anniversary.

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe shared with OK! that, at 39, Harry seems to be comfortably “playing second fiddle” to his more dominant wife, Meghan, aged 42. “Meghan is a very strong character, very driven, extremely ambitious, and those are the kind of characteristics that mean she will almost always inevitably outshine Harry and grab the attention from him,” Duncan explained. “Harry is entirely in her shadow. But he’s never really been at ease with the attention, he’s never really enjoyed it.”

But also weighing in on the couple’s dynamic, Dr Sona Kapur, founder of Serenity Psychological Services and a clinical psychologist, told OK! Magazine that there are usually two potential outcomes when one person overshadows the other in a relationship. If Harry is content being outpaced by Meghan, it signifies “strong self-assurance and mutual support”, though she points out this isnt always the case.

Duncan said Harry has ‘never really enjoyed’ being in the spotlight ( Image: AFP via Getty Images)

She added “It can add pressure if not managed well, potentially causing feelings of inadequacy or resentment. Success requires open communication, mutual support, and ensuring both partners have opportunities to pursue their interests and shine.”

Duncan added: “Whether it’s deliberate or not, Meghan is definitely a magnet for attention. Although we saw a huge amount of money spent on her combined outfits for Nigeria so maybe it’s not a complete accident that she steals the limelight. Their Nigeria trip was ‘The Meghan Show’ and Harry was the side.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 arrived in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, on Friday, 10 May, without their two children, five year old Prince Archie and two year old Princess Lilibet. They spent the next three days immersed in planned activities such as visiting hospitals and schools, engaging in a seated volleyball session with veterans and Meghan delivering an empowering speech on women in leadership that drew significant media attention.

As official snaps of the visit began to surface, with Meghan often pictured in vibrant outfits while Harry sported solely beige or black ensembles, some suggested Harry looked uneasy and apprehensive alongside his wife. Body language specialist Darren Stanton clamed that despite the couple looking “filled with joy” at moments, Harry often appeared “worried” under the scrutinising limelight.

We could see his eyebrows angling down, and a few of his facial expressions and smiles weren’t the most genuine from him. This can suggest Harry was feeling apprehensive and a bit nervous.”

It also didn’t go unnoticed that some of Meghan’s looks were strikingly similar to those of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, when she visited the same country back in 1990. During her visit to the Lightway Academy on day one, Meghan wore a blush pink maxi dress called “The Windsor Gown”, which sells for over £1,000. She accessorised with a gold collar necklace and large gold stud earrings incredibly like the ones worn by Princess Diana when she toured the West African country with King Charles.

Duncan also suggested that Meghan “dominated” the headlines during their trip, not only due to her own personality but also because Harry prefers to avoid the spotlight. “It’s a combination of Meghan’s personality and drive, and also a reflection of Harry’s willingness not to steal the limelight and frankly, feeling more comfortable playing second fiddle to his wife,” he said.

The Duke of Sussex did not hold back when it came to his stepmother in his tell-all memoir as he branded her as a “dangerous” villain in the Royal Family.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be forced to watch on as Queen Camilla enacts the “perfect revenge” on the former royal couple.

The Queen will “get her own back” on her stepson and daughter-in-law after the Duke of Sussex attacked her in his tell-all memoir Spare, according to an expert.

The 39-year-old prince did not hold back against his “evil” stepmother with him painting his father King Charles’ wife out to be a villain.

He also accused her of leaving “bodies in the street” in her attempts to change the public’s perception of her and labelled her as “dangerous”, the Mirror reports.

Camilla was said to have been very upset by Harry’s words against her but according to royal commentator Denise Palmer Davies said the Queen has now triumphed over the Sussexes after launching her very own podcast, The Reading Room.

Speaking to The Sun, Denise said: “After all the hurtful things Harry has said about Camilla, she has finally got her own back on them.

“If her podcast does well, and I am sure it will, she will have achieved in an area they so desperately wanted to succeed in, then that is the perfect revenge.

“I bet Meghan, in particular, will be livid over the whole thing, and probably a bit embarrassed that hers fell at the first hurdle.”

The Sussexes’ saw their Spotify deal being axed in June last year, meaning Meghan’s Archetypes podcast was cancelled after just one season.

The Archetypes podcast saw the duchess sit down for interviews with female celebrities, artists, athletes, and experts to discuss the history of stereotypes against women.

Across the show, she interviewed many impressive guests such as Paris Hilton, Serena Williams and Mindy Kaling.

Camilla will be the host of her new podcast which is expected to feature guests like Joanna Lumley, Ian Rankin, David Baddiel and Elif Shafak.

The Reading Room podcast was set up to coincide with her successful online book club which she established during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Through the club, she was able to share some of the books she had read during the global pandemic with fans.

The Queen’s Reading Room series will invite listeners inside the reading rooms of authors and celebrities to discuss their own journeys through the world of books.

It will also feature some recommendations from Queen Camilla herself and will be co-hosted by Vicki Perrin.

Speaking of the podcast, Vicki said: “There is nothing quite like a brilliant book recommendation from a friend, but it’s even better when that person is one of your favourite authors or most admired persons.

“I hope that this podcast will inspire listeners to new literary adventures and help those wishing to love books a little more, find the books which set their imaginations alight.”

Royal Family remains silent on Princess Lilibet's third birthday amid ongoing tensions with Sussexes

Princess Lilibet turned three on Tuesday, but the Royal Family did not publicly acknowledge the birthday of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s youngest child.

Princess Lilibet celebrated her third birthday on Tuesday (June 4), but there was no public acknowledgement from the Royal Family. Despite being the youngest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, no members of the Firm sent any well-wishes as she marked her special day.

This perceived snub comes amidst ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, following their decision to step back from Royal duties in 2020 and subsequent public fallouts.

Lilibet has only visited the UK once to meet family members from her father’s side. This visit occurred when she was brought over for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, where the Queen met her 11th great-grandchild and namesake for the first time.

However, despite reports that King Charles is “desperate” to build a relationship with his youngest son’s children, no public message was shared – mirroring the silence when Harry’s son Archie turned five last month.

It’s believed that Lilibet celebrated her birthday over the weekend with a small gathering at her family’s Montecito home. People magazine reported that Meghan and Harry’s close friends and non-royal family members were present, along with some of Lilibet’s friends, reports the Mirror.

Born in California in June 2021, Lilibet was named after her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Rumours of the Queen meeting her great-grandchild via video call after her birth were spread by sources said to be close to the Sussexes, with a particular source telling People magazine: “They were very excited and couldn’t wait to share that their daughter arrived.”

However, Palace insiders were quick to rebut these claims, suggesting no such call took place – as The Mail on Sunday reported.

In response, a source stated pointedly: “No video call has taken place. Friends of the Sussexes appear to have given misleading briefings to journalists about what the Queen had said and that took the whole thing over the edge.”
