Loose Women legend Kaye Adams has revealed that she was rushed to A&E after suffering a ‘traumatic’ health scare.

The popular ITV star, 61, took to social media to reveal she was left ‘terrified’ that something was really wrong after she suddenly lost all hearing in her right ear ‘minutes’ before she went live on on air on Friday’s instalment of Loose Women

Explaing her health scare on Instagram, Kaye said: “I was absolutely terrified, I thought, ‘Oh my god, what has gone wrong? On Friday when I was doing Loose Women, minutes before we went in air, my right ear just went dead. I put my earpiece in, there was no sound I couldn’t hear a thing.”

Kaye pushed through the show, not mentioning her health scare to viewers but became increasingly worried when she got home to Glasgow and her hearing still had not returned.

The Loose Women star explained that as she became more concerned, she started to google her symptoms after losing all hearing in one ear so suddenly. Kaye went to sleep but woke up the next morning and went straight to the hospital where she was looked after by the ‘dedicated’ nurses.

 

Kaye explained she was then sent for an audiogram at a nearby Boots hearing centre. However, she was left utterly mortified when she discovered the reason behind her sudden hearing loss. The TV star revealed that the audiologist pulled out a huge lump of wax, which was affecting her hearing.

“I mean I am embarrassed to say this because, honestly, my head was going to some terrible terrible tumour, I am very melodramatic,” Kaye told her followers. “Paula pulled out the biggest bit of wax you have ever seen.”

Thankfully, the TV star has nothing to worry about, and her hearing came back immediately after undergoing to process.

Denise took to Instagram and posted a sizzling snap in which she sported a skimpy lingerie piece, a sheer corset decorated with rose patterns. Upping her game, she paired the saucy wear with stockings that had adjustable garter straps.

She finished off the look with a satin robe and showed off her long legs effectively in black chunky heels. Sitting pretty on a stool, Denise wore her signature blonde short hair and enhanced the sensuous factor by applying a stroke of intense red gloss on her lips.

She will be playing the character Corral in the stage play ‘The Gap’, which will start showing at Hope Mill Theatre on February 9 and run until March.

Lots of fans were quick to show their praise for Denise’s picture. Jumping into the comments, one fan wrote: “You look amazing, definitely going to break the internet.” Another follower commented: “Holy sh*t!!! U look insanely hot….get it mama, show em how it’s done properly.” A third admirer said: “Those legs!” Someone else added: “One hot mama.”

Someone else gushed: “This woman simply doesn’t age or she’s ageing backwards. I hope to be this body confident and inspiring when I’m her age. What an amazing role model she is.”

It comes after Denise recently had to put her fans’ minds at rest after a cruel hoax claimed she had passed away. The TVb star took to her social media last week to let everyone know she was still very much with us. After noticing her name was trending because someone changed her Wikipedia page to suggest she’d died.

She assured her fans that she was actually watching I’m a Celebrity and alive and well. She wrote: “I’m alive and well and about to watch the jungle. Thanks for your concern”.

KSI is said to be joining the Britain’s Got Talent team as a judge.

In an unlikely move, the YouTuber is being lined up to step in for Bruno Tonioli during some of the auditions because the 68-year-old Strictly star is expected to miss some dates due to his commitments in the US on Dancing with the Stars, and show boss Simon Cowell is keen to get the 30-year-old boxer-and-rapper on board to appeal to a young audience.

The ITV talent competition typically runs from April to June, but filming dates are set to shift so that it can be screened in place of hosts Ant and Dec’s other show, Saturday Night Takeaway, which came to an end earlier this year.

A source told The Sun of Simon’s interest in KSI: “Simon Cowell knows KSI is a huge hit with the younger generation. He would be a great addition to pull in teenage fans, which is something the producers are keen to do. KSI is chatting to bosses in the hope of agreeing a deal that would also work with his hectic schedule.”

It was initially suggested Bruno would have to leave the show entirely because of the new filming dates, with Alan Carr tipped to replace him on the panel alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

But Simon has now spoken out, saying: “I don’t know where all this stuff comes from. I spoke to the producers literally two weeks ago about there [being] a scheduling issue with Bruno. Because we’re doing the auditions – some of the auditions – this year and he’s going to be in America. So maybe there’ll be a stand-in for him. I don’t know. But I love Bruno on the show. I think he’s brilliant.”

Speaking to his co-star Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast, doting dad Simon added: “He knows so much about what he’s talking about. And actually, he’s a brilliant, brilliant judge and the nicest person. So no, I would not replace him. He’s coming back.” When asked about Amanda’s future, he joked: “Well, look, let’s celebrate her past.

“I want to say how much Amanda has brought to the show over the years. I mean, seriously, no, and it will be… it won’t be easy to replace you but I just want to say publicly thank you. Can I be honest with you? I wouldn’t change this judging panel, I think it is something… it’s like your show, you’re number one. So why would I change BGT?” he added.

Bruno has previously expressed his joy of being part of the line-up, saying: “I enjoyed it so much! And as long as they want me, I’m on it, because obviously I haven’t done it before and they allow me to be myself. They have all been so supportive, and for me, every show is an adventure, and that’s how I approach it. One day to the next is never the same! That’s why it’s so exciting to be a part of.”

Ruth Langsford made an awkward This Morning blunder while hosting Loose Women on Tuesday’s show as she spoke to presenters Sian Welby and Dermot O’Leary

Loose Women took an awkward turn on Tuesday when host Ruth Langsford accidentally made a This Morning blunder.

Prior to the ITV chat show starting, This Morning hosts Sian Welby and Dermot O’Leary headed to the studio to see what Ruth, 63, and her co-stars had in store on the programme today. However, upon reading out the line-up, Ruth said: “Hello, yes, coming up on This Morning… not This Morning! You’re This Morning, we’re Loose Women. Force of habit, sorry!”

This Morning fans will recall that Ruth used to host the show on Fridays and holidays, alongside husband Eamonn Holmes from 1999 to 2022. Ruth remains as a host on Loose Women, where she has worked since 1999.

It comes as new This Morning presenter Sian, 37, praised Ruth for her support. The radio star, who is currently a host on the Capital FM Breakfast show after replacing Vick Hope, is one in a long line of presenters who have stepped in to help fill the void left by Holly Willoughby. This Morning bosses have been conducting a series of live auditions to see who best fits the ITV show.

On Monday, Sian was asked to present the show with Dermot after being appointed as the new entertainment expert. Rylan Clark previously hosted the showbiz section on the programme, with Rylan going on to become a stand-in This Morning lead presenter.

During the show, This Morning went over to Loose Women to see what was coming up with host Ruth sharing the show’s line-up. During the interaction, Sian said: “Aw, thank you Ruth! Ruth’s been so sweet to me, you know, always! She looks after me, she’s so lovely!”

Ruth said: “Hello, yes, coming up on This Morning… not This Morning! You’re This Morning, we’re Loose Women. Force of habit, sorry!” (

To which Ruth replied: “Well I’m delighted to see you there Sian!” with Sian responding: “Aw, thanks Ruth!” It comes as Sian took to Instagram on Sunday to share her excitement over her new role. She said: “I’m trying to be cool, calm and collected, but I’m hosting This Morning tomorrow!

“I can’t believe this, I’m on the actual main show. I don’t know who allowed this. Am I ready? Am I a liability? I’m not sure but thankfully I will be with Dermot who is a beacon of joy and an ultimate professional.”

She continued: “And he’s going to take me under his wing, and I feel very safe. So, yes I will be with Dermot on Monday on This Morning, tune in if you want to see the carnage that could happen because honestly at this moment I don’t know what is going to happen, I’m just going to wing it.” Former This Morning presenter Ruth rushed to support her friend and commented: “Go Sian!!”

Penny Lancaster and Rod Stewart have spent more than two decades together, but their love story has been far from plain sailing.

It took decades for the megastar to find lasting romance and settle down, having had three wives and eight children with five different mothers along the way. But when he laid eyes on model Penny, he knew it was meant to be.

Even after all these years, the pair say they have the same electric connection as when they first met. But the music legend was left heartbroken when they briefly split – and was left longingly looking at her photograph every night before he went to bed. Rod was first married to Alana Stewart from 1979 to 1984, and the couple share two children – daughter Kimberly, 43, and son Sean, 42. His second wife was model Rachel Hunter from 1990 to 2006, with whom he shares daughter Renee, 30, and son Liam, 28.

He shares 35-year-old daughter Ruby with ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg, and Sarah, 59, with another ex-partner, Susanna Boffey. With Penny, who is 27 years his junior, Rod has sons Alastair, 17, and Aiden, 11.

Rod, now 79, and 52-year-old Penny first crossed paths in the late 1990s, when he hired the budding photographer to take photos of him while on tour. Their relationship got off to a slow and steady start and in 2005, he popped the question at the top of the Eiffel Tower, with Penny of course saying ‘yes’.

They tied the knot two years later in 2007 in a glamorous ceremony in Italy, in front of 100 family and friends. Ten years later they renewed their vows in an intimate ceremony at their Essex Home.

Penny said: “Being able to reflect on those 10 years, and say those words to one another and still know we mean them is important. This felt more special. You get married with the hope that you’ll be together; when we renewed our vows, we said them not with just hope, but with reassurance. Along with hope, there is also faith, love and bringing all the family together.”

Speaking with Hello! Rod added: “Penny is my whole world. What a girl. Love means many things to many people but to me, it’s wanting to share everything with the one you love and I love Penny more now than ever, if that is at all possible. It was a beautifully romantic thing to do. We’re not proving anything, just sharing our love with our friends and family.”

However the pair went through a devastating rough patch, with Penny needing time away from the relationship. Heartbroken Rod was left gazing at a photo of Penny every night and morning after she walked out him. They eventually patched up their problems and the Sailing star decided to sing about his ordeal on his album, Time. Rod explained: “I cover Tom Waits’ Picture In A Frame.

And it appears their love continues to prevail, as just last year they reportedly renewed their vows to each other for the second time whilst Rod was touring Down Under. The Maggie May star was claimed to have “spaced out his tour” so his children could attend the ceremony, according to Woman’s Day magazine.

A friend close to the family, said: “There’s a very good reason why Rod’s insisted he space out his tour dates – it’s the perfect place and the perfect time to renew their wedding vows.” The insider claimed Penny and Rod have been wanting to renew their vows for a while, adding: “Now they can’t wait and are using this chance to do something special while here.”

After cementing their vows during their first renewal, Penny said of their 15-year stint: “Our honeymoon period seems to have lasted forever, we still have a connection like we just met.”

Katie Piper left her fellow Loose Women co-stars stunned on Wednesday’s show as she unveiled her jaw-dropping hair transformation.

The presenter, 40, has rocked blonde locks but has ditched her signature hairstyle for a new gorgeous brunette look, revealing the makeover on Wednesday’s show. The Loose Women panel were left amazed over the new look with host Christine Lampard joking: “I thought we had a completely new panellist today, as well as Jill Scott, and it was Katie with new hair!”

Talking about her new hair, Katie continued: “It’s the new me, I always feel when you change your hair colour, you’ve got to change your makeup, your jewellery, your wardrobe. I’ve experimented with my hair quite a lot over the years.

“It is something I quite enjoy doing, I never get frightened about it, I mean, I’ve been purple, jet black, white blonde, so yeah… I’ve got different foundations in all my makeup kits depending where I’m going to go [with my hair].”

Katie also took to Instagram to show off her new hair, writing: “New hair, who dis? Ready for today’s @loosewomen”. Katie’s 1.1m followers were quick to go wild over the look. One person said: “Wow great look loving the brunette!”, a different account put: “HOW!! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO LOOK THIS INSANE BOTH BLONDE AND BRUNETTE!!!” with heart eyes, while another fan wrote: “Beautiful!” Someone else raved: “This is stunning, perfect colour on you!!!!”

It comes as Katie returned to Loose Women in December for the first time since undergoing surgery. The presenter suffered life-changing burns, injuries and blindness in one eye after being attacked with acid in 2008 when she was 24. Katie underwent pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision, but has faced many complications since.

Only recently, Katie underwent tarsorrhaphy surgery in November to her left eye, which joins parts or all of the upper and lower eyelids to completely close the eye. Katie said at the time of the procedure, which is used to help or heal the cornea: “In my case I am trying to preserve the eye, avoid perforation and loosing my eye completely.”

Katie added at the time: “Also, if this helps anyone else…. yes I do sometimes find it hard. I’m ok with looking different to everyone else but operations can sometimes take me back to memories of how this all started and that’s hard mentally.”

Appearing on Loose Women for the first time since the procedure, host Kaye Adams said: “Hello stranger! First of all, Katie, we haven’t seen you for what, five or six weeks?” Katie then explained why she had been absent, discussing her recent procedure. She said: “I had a planned procedure done called tarsorrhaphy, which is a semi-permanent closure of the eye. It’s an operation done in theatre and your eye is fully or partially stitched up.

“Some people might be familiar with it, you normally see it when somebody has disease of the cornea. Closing the eye gives it the optimum environment to heal so I’ve had quite a lot of problems with my eye over the last year and a half. I don’t like to go on about it because there’s always somebody worse off!”

Katie added: “It’s been quite painful so it’s quite a relief for me to finally have it stitched up because it’s a lot more comfortable! It’s not permanent, it’s going to be for just about a year like this then hopefully I can have it opened!”

Rather than showcasing a new look for every engagement, Kate often purchases her favourite designs in different colours.

She has her favourite dress – an Emilia Wickstead frock that was named after her – in four different colours.

The royal’s demure, streamlined fashion formula is evident; she rarely deviates from it.

A single dress has become a staple for the Princess of Wales.

Emilia Wickstead’s ‘Kate’ dress was even named after the royal, following her repeat orders.

Long-sleeved and cinched at the waist, the bespoke A-line frocks do differ slightly in length and neckline, with some featuring a bateau neck, while others are square.

Kate was first spotted wearing the lilac version in 2018, when she attended the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London.

Less than a year later, the royal debuted an olive green version of the dress to open the Anna Freud Centre in London.

In 2019, she wore the royal blue dress to attend the launch of the National Emergencies Trust.

Most recently, Kate opted for a longer, teal version, when she welcomed Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden to Windsor Castle last November.

We caught our first glimpse of the Princess’ shimmering Jenny Packham dress during her five-day official tour to Pakistan in 2019.

Crafted from emerald satin, the £3,640 gown was drenched in sequins and boasted strategically placed crystals at the waist.

Kate chose to repeat the exquisite design at the Royal Variety Performance in 2021, teaming it with a bespoke clutch by the British designer.

The royal’s wardrobe also features a sparkling champagne version of this dress, which she has worn on two notable occasions.

She debuted the piece at Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif’s wedding reception in Jordan in 2023, before wearing it to a reception at Buckingham Palace later that year.

The Princess of Wales stunned in an Alexander McQueen ivory silk crepe gown at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla last May.

The figure-skimming piece was elevated by silver bullion and embroidery, incorporating the floral emblems of the UK: rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock.

Its silhouette mirrored that of the velvet dress that Kate wore to a reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps at Buckingham Palace in 2019.

Former Loose Women star Ayda Field alarmed fans when she revealed she had been rushed to hospital. Now she has given a further health update after undergoing medical tests

Ayda Field has updated fans on her health after her date night with husband Robbie Williams ended up with a dash to the hospital.

The 44-year-old star – who has been married to Robbie, 49, since 2010 and shares a son named Charlton, nine, and daughters Theo, 11, and Colette, five with him – alarmed fans when she revealed she had been hospitalised earlier this week. Ayda shared a photo via social media of herself looking glum while hooked up to a heart monitor and with a drip attached to her arm late on Sunday.

She wrote at the time: “After a picture perfect evening, a less than picture perfect ending.” However she didn’t elaborate further on the reason for her hospital visit – but added she was glad to have her husband Robbie at her side.

Now the former Loose Women star has given a new update – showing her back in a medical facility and undergoing further tests. Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the star first shared a snap of herself alongside her mother, Gwen.

She wrote: “Mom came with me to my doctors appointment today,” and while Gwen had an expression that had concern, Ayda was flashing a defiant smile as she prepared to meet with a doctor. A subsequent slide showed Ayda lying on a hospital bed with a number of monitors attached to her body.

With electrodes on her shoulders, chest and stomach, Ayda looked very still in the image. She added a simple, and teasing, caption, stating: “And after running a few tests…”

The following slide showed the TV star looking very happy and showcasing a beaming smile. She added: “The doctor gave me the all clear. So grateful.” She also added that she was feeling “f**king fantastic” thanks to the test results, and her doctor was happy to pose alongside her.

Ayda was dressed in a shimmering dress to attend a fashion party – where she rubbed shoulders with Kardashians star Kris Jenner, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, and businesswoman Veronica Smiley Grazer.

Another snap showed Ayda and Dee posing happily alongside their husbands Robbie Williams and Tommy Hilfiger respectively. The group were out in force to celebrate the birthday of Lauren Sanchez – the fiancée of Amazon billionaire owner Jeff Bezos.

Fans were encouraged to see Ayda up and about and back on the party scene. One follower commented on Instagram: “AYDA, you and ROB look fabulous! Everyone else can take a step back. So glad the doctor cleared you today. Hope that means you’re feeling better.”

Loose Women fans have called for the ITV daytime show to be “binned” after Gloria Hunniford became embroiled in a fat-shaming row.

It came after the veteran broadcaster made comments about TV legend Oprah Winfrey’s weight as she turned 70 this week, which were branded “unacceptable” by viewers. Despite saying she was a huge fan of Oprah’s, Gloria followed it up with: “Oprah fluctuates a lot. Sometimes she’s very overweight and now she looks great. She’s very, very thin.”

And it wasn’t long before fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to blast the 83-year-old over her choice of words on Monday afternoon’s show. One fumed: “Gloria is essentially saying that women are only beautiful and accomplished if they’re ‘very, very thin’. Very telling that it’s her first thought when discussing Oprah. This show is toxic and should be binned #LooseWomen.”

“Gloria’s comments about Oprah’s weight as usual were unacceptable and off topic. She’s just awful. Get her off!” said another. A third chimed in: “’She looks fantastic. She’s very very thin’. Okaaaaay.”

While a fourth compared Gloria to Cliff Richard who appeared to make fat-shaming remarks about Elvis Presley while being interviewed This Morning host Alison Hammond last year and added: “Gloria being a little fatphobic like her beloved Cliff Richard #loosewomen.”

Fans were quick to applaud the Big Brother star for her handling of Cliff’s comments, with many taking to X to share their support. Not everyone interpreted Cliff’s statement as offensive, however, with one person arguing, “Being generous to Cliff I think he was probably trying to say he was young & foolish and paid the price by losing his only chance to meet Elvis. I’m pretty sure his words came out wrong & he regretted it straight away. Cliff is from a time when stars had to look a certain way.”

Prince Harry’s friend lifts lid on reason Duke is ‘really sad’ after Lilibet’s birthday

Harry is reportedly open to a return to the UK as he hopes his children can build a relationship with the Royal Family.

Prince Harry’s friend has claimed that the Duke is “really sad” because his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are not able to have a relationship with their cousins.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently held a birthday party for Lilibet as she turned three on Tuesday.

According to reports, the party was comprised of close friends and family at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion.

Royal expert Tom Quinn provided some insight, claiming that Hollywood heavyweight Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were in attendance with their daughter Daisy.

Speaking to The Mirror, Mr Quinn also shed light on how Prince Harry is rueing the fact that Archie and Lilibet are unable to bond with their family in the UK.

He said of the party: “Rather than go for a low-key celebration Harry and Meghan have spent the past weekend enjoying a pre-birthday bash for their daughter Lillibet’s third birthday – hugely expensive presents have been ruled out but the couple’s mansion in California was awash with celebrities including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy who is just a few months older than Lilibet.

“Shockingly no invitations to Lilibet’s party were issued to members of the Royal Family.

“One of Harry’s old army friends said: ‘Harry knew they wouldn’t come anyway and he was pretty sure he would not have wanted them there.

“But he is really sad that Archie and Lilibet cannot have any kind of relationship with their cousins while his feud with his family continues’.”

Royal experts have claimed that, while Harry would be open to a return to the UK, Meghan is certain she wants to remain elsewhere.

Speaking to The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, expert Phil Dampier said a recent event showed just how determined Meghan was to leave the UK in her past.

Meghan traveled to the UK to meet with Harry before they headed off to Nigeria for their tour in May.

Mr Dampier said: “He had the opportunity to recently, didn’t he, on his way to the Invictus Games event and Nigeria, Meghan didn’t want to know.

“That’s twice now that she’s just stopped off at the airport at Heathrow, I think in the lounge there.

“She clearly thinks that she’s unpopular in this country.

“I don’t think she wants to come back to this country.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if she never came back to this country, to be honest.

“And I think that’s where we are, it’s very, very sad.”
