The Princess of Wales’ popularity with the British public is ‘absolutely assured’ according to a royal expert

Kate is “pushing” Meghan Markle further into the background, an expert has claimed in a damning look into the inner workings of the Royal Family.

Former royal correspondent Nicholas Owens made the claims as he praised the Princess of Wales for coming “into her own” as she begins to embrace her new role in the Royal Family five months in.

Last week, Kate and Prince William’s made a historic first trip to Cornwall during which they visited the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and tried their hand at riveting on a Helford Delta Class boat dating back to the 1940s.

They were greeted by cheering crowds during the trip who lined the streets to get a glimpse at the couple.

Now, a royal expert has claimed Kate’s popularity amongst the public is set in stone.

Nicholas Owens said: “[Kate’s] popularity is absolutely assured.

“She’s got new advisors around her, particularly one lady.

“A real toughy is, a sort of, one of her main assistants.”

Owens continued to Sky News Australia: “Beyond the exterior that we all see, the smiling face, the easy way with crowds, the wonderful way Kate has with children, there is also some steel going on there.

“The determination to sort of set herself out a role, rather as you say, but is she seeing off Meghan in the process.

“Well, if that’s a byproduct of what’s going on, how jolly convenient, that would be nice wouldn’t it, pushing Meghan further and further into the background.”

Recently, Kate employed a branding and marketing expert as her private secretary.

A royal insider claimed the move was a “clear sign” she was rebranding herself.

They said: “What the Princess of Wales is doing is a very clear sign that she is redefining herself now that she has this new role.”

Speaking to the Telegraph they explained that Kate has a “greater platform now” and so has to have “the right team to deliver for her”.

Last week, Kate gave royal fans an exclusive insight into her life with the launch of a brand new Instagram account.

She launched the new social media account to platform the work she carries out on early childhood awareness.

As part of the launch, Kate shared an image of herself as a baby as she urged people to speak to their family and friends.

In the photo, a young Kate can be seen reaching out to her father, Michael Middleton, who is holding her.

She is wearing a summer dress in the photograph which was taken by her mother Carole.

It was part of her campaign called “Shaping Us” which was set up to raise awareness of the vital role early years play in shaping the rest of a child’s life.

Love Island couples who will stay together after Casa Amor predicted by TV relationship expert

With Love Island’s Casa Amor set to shake things up in the villa, relationship expert Michelle Elman has shared her thoughts on which couples will recouple and which ones will have their heads turned

    Life coach Michelle Elman

After making a splash on our screens last month, Love Island has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Now, with Casa Amor shaking things up, the Islanders are at a crucial juncture, facing the ultimate challenge to see if their budding romances can withstand the temptation of 12 new sizzling singles.

Life coach Michelle Elman, dubbed the Queen Of Boundaries, has dished out her predictions on which couples will make it through the highly-anticipated recoupling and who might benefit from the fresh faces in Casa Amor to spark some new flames.

She said: “Usually at this stage, couples are more cemented by the time Casa Amor arrives than they have been this season so the likelihood of all couples being switched up is quite high. Ciaran and Nicole are the most likely to survive it, having said that they love each other and therefore implying they are the most committed.”

“The main issue these two have been having is feeling secure in the relationship, especially on Nicole’s side, but this may be an indication of their age as one of the youngest couples.”

Michelle pointed out that while other duos have shown more consistency, there’s a sense that some Love Island pairs are holding out for someone better to come along. With six new lads and lasses entering the fray, we could be in for some serious head-turning action, reports OK!.

“Whilst Uma and Wil, and Ayo and Mimii have been the most consistent, the concern is that they have both been using each other as a placeholder until a better option comes along which means their heads could be turned,” she explained. “Matilda and Sean also are at risk, their interest in each other seems mutual but there is a potential for a better match with more chemistry.”

However, while some couples may find Casa Amor to be a relationship test, others might discover that the twist in format boosts their confidence in finding love a factor that could stir things up in the villa.

“We’ve also seen in the past how individuals who’ve had little interest like Sean, enter Casa Amor and since their self-esteem has grown, they seize the opportunities that the switch-up brings. Grace, Joey, Jess, Trey and Jessy as the newest couples are most likely to see shifts,” Michelle elaborated.

Michelle’s predictions follow Love Island star Ciaran Davies’ mum Hayley expressing her concerns for Casa Amor after revealing that her son already has a connection with new girl Ellie Jackson.

On Love Island’s spin-off show, Aftersun, on Sunday, June 30, she said: “I think he should stay with Nicole I do. I like her yeah.”

“But there’s a lady in there, what’s her name, yeah Ellie [Jackson], he knows her. I think Ellie had chased, Ellie had conversations with Ciaran. They like each others posts on Instagram, we have done our homework!.”

Further expressing her concerns she said: “So I am a bit worried about what clips are going to be shown.”

Meghan Markle is reportedly a ‘laughing stock among the Hollywood elite’ over her ‘disastrous’ business streak

Meghan Markle is said to have become a laughing stock among the Hollywood elite and royals over her “disastrous” business streak, it has been claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex is in the midst of launching her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which she announced earlier this year. The brand, which is set to sell items like jams and home decor items, has already been soft-launched, with influencers and celebrities like Kris Jenner already sent a press mailer of the brand’s strawberry jam.

But as Meghan prepares to launch her brand while working on two Netflix shows with her husband, and also plans to launch her project with Lemonada, it has been claimed that she is being laughed at by A-listers in Hollywood.

Speaking to In Touch, a source said: “Almost everything they’ve tried has ended in disaster.” Before a different source added: “Hollywood is glam and glitz on the outside, but the real stars have worked hard for their success — and you get the impression hard work isn’t really Meghan’s thing.”

The second source went on: “She was a nobody when she married Harry in 2018 but immediately thought she deserved a place at the A-listers’ table. “Now, after all her failures, those A-listers — and the royals — are laughing at her!”

Meanwhile, the first source, a courtier, went on to touch on how they believe Meghan’s new projects “are destined to fail,” which is due to to her lack of experience in building a brand. They said: “If the public doesn’t like you, they won’t get behind you, and no amount of money you throw at the problem will make it go away.”

This comes as the Sussexes prepare to celebrate their first-born child’s fifth birthday. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will turn five on May 6, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex set to celebrate the young prince’s birthday with him and his younger sister Princess Lilibet.

Prince Harry will then jet – solo and without Meghan – from California to England for an event on May 8. The Duke will be back in his home country for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, where he will give a speech at St Paul’s Cathedral during a thanksgiving service.

Loose Women star Denise Welch left her fellow panellists momentarily lost for words after sharing a risque detail about her love life. The ex-Coronation Street actress was in the midst of a conversation about rekindling romance when she divulged the personal anecdote on Tuesday, May 28. In a discussion with Charlene White, Katie Piper, and Brenda Edwards, Denise, 66, opened up about her husband Lincoln Townley, 51. She light-heartedly remarked that he “has always been, urm, into older women, so he got his dream on my 66th birthday obviously.”

Laughter ensued from the audience as Denise continued: “It’s difficult because it’s half-term and they give us this topic to talk about but, when we first got together, everything was active, a lot of the time. To the point that we once had to pull into a hotel to be more active for an hour and then drive on.” Her co-hosts were visibly shocked by the frank confession, their expressions a mix of astonishment and bewilderment, reports the Mirror.

Denise went on: “We don’t necessarily do that anymore, but it’s still important to us. But when I think about keeping the spark, I don’t think it’s just about always the sexual spark.” Once the initial surprise wore off, Charlene regained her poise, while Brenda showed signs of embarrassment – Katie, on the other hand, found humour in the bold disclosure. Join our WhatsApp news community here for the latest breaking news

On Instagram, Denise shared her excitement: “Today I celebrate becoming an ‘old age pensioner’ with a birthday boomerang! ! ! I’m 66! ! ! WTAF? ? ! ! ! But I’m grateful to have got this far! ! It’s taken a lot of ups and downs to get here but here I am and very happy.”

Reflecting on her life, Denise wrote: “A wonderful marriage to @lincolntownley, 3 amazing sons, Matty, Louis and Lewis. My sister and my nieces and nephews. The Townleys. A grandson Theo and I’ve been free from clinical depression for 5 yrs!” She also acknowledged the mixed emotions tied to the date, noting it as the anniversary of her mother’s death: “Of course May 22nd will always be bittersweet as it’s 12 years today since Mum died.”

Discussing her late mother’s influence, she said: “She would have been 88 this year and believe me, she would still be wearing swimwear and looking fabulous! ! I hope she’d be proud that I’m sober, still working hard in my chosen profession and still getting my t**s out for the lads! ! !” Signing off with a tribute to her mother, she stated: “And lasses to be fair as I have to keep my lesbian friends happy! ! ! Dickie Arbiter locked horns with Denise Welch on the set of Loose Women this Monday, May 6, as the panellist took a stand against the harsh criticism targeting Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle has come under fire more than once throughout her time on Prince Harry ‘s arm and Denise Welch has had enough of the relentless backlash.

The Loose Women panellist was seething this Monday, May 6, when Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II and to King Charles III before he was crowned last year, was in the studio to speak about the monarch’s cancer battle.

But while the conversation began smoothly, it inevitably took a turn when Dickie addressed the elephant in the room – can the monarch ever repair his strained relationship with his son, Prince Harry?

Royal fans will recall the latter snubbed life as a senior working royal alongside his wife Meghan for a fresh start across the Atlantic and the Duchess of Sussex has been more criticised than ever before since.

Denise Welch took a firm stand in favour of Meghan Markle and called out Dickie Arbiter on the set of Loose Women

Meghan also faced a wave of criticism when she was first rumoured to be dating Prince Harry in 2016 and the couple have publicly condemned the negative media scrutiny they have both received, personally, as a couple and as parents for their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

For Denise, Meghan and Harry’s decision to leave Windsor and Frogmore Cottage behind was nothing short of logical and tensions emerged at lightning speed as she vehemently defended them – calling Dickie out for his own criticism of Meghan Markle.

“If I may say, do you not think there is a reason why Harry did such a thing?”, the 65-year-old initially asked, referring to the Duke’s decision to leave the UK for the US.

Denise then summarised the heartbreak surrounding King Charles III’s family, wounds first stemming from the monarch’s marriage with Lady Diana “when he was in love with Camilla.”

“It ruined a lot of Diana’s life”, Denise claimed. She then recalled how a young Prince Harry witnessed his mother’s death after a fatal car chase with paparazzi before he was forced to walk publicly behind her coffin and accept Queen Camilla as his stepmother.

Do you agree with Denise Welch’s comments? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

“Then he has a wife who is completely and continually trashed by the media, including your good self”, Denise added while turning to Dickie, while some audience members began to applaud her. “I am just sick to death of the bashing that this woman gets (…) we continually berate this woman every day.”

When Dickie argued that the Sussexes have received criticism over their choice to leave the Royal Family, Denise furiously doubled down: “Why would they not walk out? Why would they want to spend their life in a country that hated them?”

Coleen Nolan quickly intervened to stop the situation from escalating, reminding the panellist that she hadn’t expected a “debate” to take place in the studio. But Denise continued to seethe as she added: “don’t have a guest on (…) I can say what I like!”

The segment left many ITV viewers with their jaws dropped as they swarmed over to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts. “Well done Denise, you wiped the floor with Dickie. Thankyou for not being scared to be a voice for H@M”, one of them commented.

Another agreed: “Makes me laugh that people are saying Denise isn’t nice for standing up for Meghan and Harry, yet it’s fine for so many “nice” people to have s****** them off for the past 6+ yrs”, just as a third applauded the panellist for her strong stance: “Well said Denise, you are the voice of fairness and reason.”

However, one TV watcher predicted a reprimand was ahead for Denise due to Coleen’s intervention. “I think Denise is going to be getting a firm talking to when @loosewomen is off air! However if she is passionate about a subject why shut her down? I thought #LooseWomen promotes strong women and opinions?”

Prince Harry rift a ‘shame’ for William as he’s ‘only human on earth’ who knows what it was like

As the British Royal Family has faced a tumultuous year, Prince William has been left feeling “incredibly alone” as he navigates his responsibilities without his mother, according to a Royal expert

The ongoing rift between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William is a particular “shame” for the elder sibling around this time of year.

That’s according to a royal expert, who reveals the anniversary of Princess Diana’s birthday is a particularly “sensitive time” for the future king – and it’s made worse this year as the only other person who knows what it was like to lose her is not there to share the feeling with.

As the anniversary of the birth of Princess Diana passed on July 1, veteran royal commentator and former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond reflected on the difficult year for the future King.

Jennie said: “The anniversary is obviously always a very sensitive time for William and it is such a shame that he cannot share his feelings with the only other human being on earth who really knows what it was like to lose Diana: his brother, Harry.

“But I’m sure the princess would be immensely proud to see how courageously William has faced up to all that has happened in the past few months.”

Jennie claimed William has at times “looked incredibly alone” this past year as he shouldered three major responsibilities. In what has been a challenging year for the British Royal Family, the Duke of Cambridge has seen his wife Kate Middleton and father King Charles undergo cancer treatment, while also guiding his three young children in their growing roles as key members of The Firm.

Jennie, the former BBC Royal correspondent, told OK!: “There have been times in this past year when William has looked incredibly alone, shouldering the responsibility of being a son whose father has cancer, a husband caring for his wife as she also deals with cancer, a father of three young children… and who has no brother or mother to turn to for a bit of TLC.”

Diana left an unforgettable impact on the world throughout her life. Her selfless charity work, her unwavering determination to effect change, and her impeccable fashion sense were just a few of the ways she made her presence felt. The beloved royal, who was born 63 years ago on July 1, 1961, left behind two sons who have dedicated their lives to preserving their mother’s legacy by supporting some of her favourite causes.

Reflecting on her intimate conversations with Diana, Jennie added: “That was the phrase that Diana used so often, especially in our chats together at Kensington Palace. She always said that she was incredibly good at giving tender loving care, and she obviously would have given that in buckets full to her darling son. There are other members of the family who have given William all the support they can, but nothing really replaces a loving mother who will protect and guide you.

“William has now lived without his mother for a great deal longer than he had her at his side. He has often spoken about the loss of a parent and how the pain never really goes away. She is always in his thoughts and that will be true more than ever on the anniversary of her birthday.”

In the emotional 2017 ITV documentary ‘Diana, Our Mother’, William opened up about his painful journey, saying: “It’ll either make or break you. And I wouldn’t let it break me, I wanted it to make me. I wanted her to be proud of the person I’d become. I didn’t want her worried or her legacy to be, you know, that William and/or Harry were completely and utterly devastated by it.”

During the interview, the prince also shared his experiences of the public’s mourning outside Kensington Palace.

He shared: “People wanted to grab us, to touch us. They were shouting, wailing, literally wailing at us, throwing flowers, and yelling, sobbing, breaking down, people fainted, collapsed. It was a very alien environment. I couldn’t understand why everyone wanted to cry as loud as they did and show such emotion as they did when they didn’t really know our mother. I did feel a bit protective at times about that. You didn’t even know her – why and how are you so upset? Now looking back, I have learnt to understand what it was she gave the world and what she gave a lot of people.”

In the years following her tragic passing, it’s clear that William is dedicated to preserving his mother’s legacy through his own children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“William’s greatest tribute to his mother is his determination to carry on her legacy, particularly on issues such as homelessness and mental health,” Jennie revealed. “And he is raising his children with the same values that Diana instilled in him.She further added: “Diana was always in her absolute element when she was dealing with people in trouble or need. She loved to spend time with anyone who was suffering ill health, and I’m sure she would have devoted herself to helping her daughter in law get stronger and making children feel safe. Luckily, they have another granny who is equally devoted – Kate’s own mother, Carole.”

The fractured bond between Princes William and Harry appears to add a layer of distress to the upcoming anniversaries, as the Duke of Cambridge grapples with his emotions in isolation. The once-close siblings have drifted apart following Harry’s Royal exit and relocation to the US with Meghan Markle, along with a string of explosive allegations cast through various media channels.

Laurel is left frightened and barely able to move with her phone ringing out but she’s unable to reach it. ‘Rishi Sunak cracks during Love Island-style questioning in anxious This Morning interview’

Rishi Sunak appeared on ITV’s This Morning earlier today just hours before the General Election as he looks to avoid any last-minute slip-ups before Britain heads to the polling station

Rishi Sunak “looked wary” and tried to cover up his anxiety with “a non-verbal display of upbeat nonchalance” during his awkward This Morning interview, according to a top body language expert.

The Prime Minister appeared on the ITV programme earlier today, just hours ahead of potentially being ousted from No. 10 Downing Street as the British public prepare to head to the polls for tomorrow’s General Election.

Sunak couldn’t afford any slip-ups during one of his final TV appearances ahead of the vote, but body language expert Judi James believes he succumbed to the pressure of “Love Island style questioning” from the This Morning hosts.

His introduction on the daytime TV show came just after hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard bid farewell to Britain’s most inked mum – a segment Sunak had seemingly been watching with interest.

Analysing Sunak’s body language during his This Morning appearance, Judi writes: “His face powdered to a flat matte and wearing skinny slacks plus his now-trademark zip-neck sweater in the reassuringly business-like colour of deep navy, Sunak revealed a lingering fancy for a tattoo (his eyes closed as he mused on the design) and that his favourite meal is ‘sandwiches’.

“His eye expression looked wary during his intro and his smile sickly, with the lower lip dropped and the upper hiked up but with a tell-tale drooping of the very corners of the mouth suggesting a slow puncture of optimism despite his ‘I feel good!’ response when asked, Love Island-style ‘How are you feeling?’

Sunak speaking to cat and ben
‘Overall he looked awkward or as though he was feeling awkward’
“Sunak has recently been keen to talk about his sleep patterns. ‘I got up just before four and went to bed around midnight’ has been repeated enough to sound like part of his official pitch for the job of PM and he threw it in here but with no vocal inflection to imply whether it was a boast or a cry for pity and sympathy.”

Delivering her verdict on Sunak’s general performance on the ITV show, Judi concludes: “Overall he looked awkward or as though he was feeling awkward and trying to cover the awkwardness with a non-verbal display of upbeat nonchalance. He bounced in his seat when mentioning some new analysis that suggests 130,000 votes can make a difference and when Ben compared him to Southgate bringing on subs too late, i.e Boris, his overkill smile with a huge display of upper and lower teeth looked mirthless.

“Sunak threw his right arm out along the sofa as they talked but as the ‘chat’ turned into a lively debate his right fingers started to pick in a signal of anxiety. Ben’s mention of D-Day brought a dramatic change of eye expression from the PM. The crinkly bonhomie died and instead he fixed Ben with a dull, hard stare. A mention of viewer’s questions saw the PM perform an eye-dart to the side as though looking for the exit. But then the question of election night dinner came up and the smile returned as he got onto the ‘safe’ subject of sandwiches and pork pies.”

Since then a litany of tell-all bombshells have landed at the feet of Prince William and Princess Kate, all fired from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The most notable of which came in Harry’s memoir Spare in which he made a series of accusations, namely about his brother.

Relations between the families have been frosty at best since then, and despite putting on a show of strength following the death of the Queen, the ties between the middle-aged princes appear to have been severed.

However, there is one thing Prince Harry can do to get back into the picture according to King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold.

Mr Harrold told the New York Post: “The only way I see this happening is a public statement from Harry, where you come out and say that you were in a bad space and that [Spare] was a mistake. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Some bad things were said, and some families never patch things up, and that’s how it is forevermore.”

Mr Harrold said it would be hard for Harry to reconcile with Prince William and Princess Kate, because “too much damage” has been done.

He said: “Harry caused damage and broke down trust. It’s difficult when you’re a future monarch.I doubt they’ll ever get back the relationship they had originally. That was a very different relationship built on trust.

“It’s going to take time. William is a tough character. He’s a good guy.”

The 80-year-old was unable to walk Meghan down the aisle and the couple have not spoken to him since.

Thomas has never met his son-in-law Harry or his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.

King Charles has also rarely seen his grandchildren by Harry and Meghan since their move to California in 2020.

Thomas told the Mail: “Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received.

“Why have they treated not only me but the Royal Family and the King so badly?

“Archie and Lilibet have two grandpas who want to see them, one of whom is the King of England.”

Thomas lives alone in Rosarito on Mexico’s Pacific coast – just 250 miles from the Sussexes’ mansion in Montecito.

The Emmy-winning lighting director will turn 80 next month – but is suffering the effects of a serious stroke two years ago.

Thomas said he would love Meghan to call on his birthday, but does not expect her to be in touch.

    How tall are the Royals?
He added he would now be happy with a photograph of his grandchildren even if he cannot meet them.

Meghan lived full-time with Thomas from the age of 11 while her mum Doria travelled for work.

I watched Prince Harry grow up – I know why he won’t EVER return to royal life

A ROYAL expert who watched Prince Harry grow up says she knows why he won’t ever to return to royal life.

Harry has lived in California with his wife Meghan since they dramatically quit their jobs as working royals in 2020.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said Harry would be a “great asset” for the palace.

But she said California-based Harry now has the “domestic bliss” he lacked as a child.

Appearing on today’s episode of The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Bond said: “I can’t see Harry returning, really.

“And yes – I do miss him. Harry was the most popular royal a couple of years ago, wasn’t he?

“Having watched him grow up and knowing him just a little bit, he was a wonderful little boy and a charming, jovial adolescent.

“At least that’s what we saw. He was brilliant for the royal family, he did bring a natural common touch and relatability.

“They would have been a great asset had he stayed but I don’t think he will return.

“If I did pray I would pray that he has a happy life now with all that he wanted.

“The freedom he craved, the wife he loves and the children he adores.

“The model of domestic bliss that he didn’t have in his own adolescence.

“I wish him all the best.”
