In heartbreaking news today, Princess Anne has spoken out about her health for the first time since sustaining a concussion and minor injuries in a horse-related incident at her country home. The brave princess admitted she can’t remember anything about the incident, and the royal family forced her to make a shocking decision regarding her recent health situation.

King Charles’s little sister was discharged from the hospital after five days of medical attention a few weeks ago. The royal family’s diary and website have been updated to remove Princess Anne’s engagements next week as she continues to recover from last month’s accident.

With her taking a small break, the public and media may expect regular updates, putting pressure on Princess Anne and the royal family to provide ongoing information about her health status. Releasing a photo carries some risk; if she appears too frail, it might raise more concern, but if she looks too well, it might be seen as downplaying the seriousness of her condition.

In a shared announcement, King Charles expressed concern for his sister amid her recent visit to the Riding for the Disabled Association National Championships. He has been kept closely informed and joins the entire royal family in sending their fondest love and well wishes to the princess for a speedy recovery.

When Princess Anne left the hospital, her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, issued a short statement voicing his gratitude to her care team: “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the team at St. Mary’s Hospital for their care, expertise, and kindness during my wife’s stay,” said Sir Timothy. He gave a brief update to reporters about his wife’s health after visiting her at the hospital on June 26, saying that she was recovering slowly and would be out when she’s ready.

Anne’s medical team stated her head injuries were consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs, but her concussion has meant the precise details of how the incident occurred are unclear. An air ambulance was scrambled to take the princess to the hospital, but she ultimately traveled by road after being treated by an emergency crew on-site.

Consistently cited as the hardest-working royal by the count of official engagements recorded in the Court Circular, the Princess Royal was forced to clear her calendar after being injured. A palace spokesperson confirmed she would not be at the Buckingham Palace banquet King Charles threw on June 25 in honor of the Japanese state visit. Her trip to Canada later that week was also canceled on medical advice.

Last year, Princess Anne was proclaimed the hardest-working member of the royal family, having attended the most engagements recorded in the Court Circular. In a cute weekend vlog posted to her TikTok account on Monday, the multi-hyphenate actress, model and director shared a sneak peek into her personal life with her husband Brooklyn, showing fans what a weekend away looks like for the socialite duo.

Throughout the video, Nicola can be seen spending a wholesome weekend surrounded by loved ones, watching Love Island USA at her kitchen counter as a Brooklyn serves up breakfast and enjoying multiple lake swims with friends.

In one shot of the vlog, Nicola can be seen cuddling up to her beau on the back of a boat, donning a black baby-tee with the slogan ‘MISS KISS’ printed across the front in hot pink lettering and surrounded by dainty hearts.

Netflix users were given the news they’d been waiting almost a year for on Wednesday when it was announced that Victoria Beckham was getting her own documentary series.

Victoria had previously been a total scene-stealer in her husband David Beckham’s three-part Netflix doc last year, prompting speculation that she and the streaming service could be teaming up on a future project.

And on Wednesday morning, Netflix confirmed: “With exclusive access to Victoria, her family, and those closest to her, the series explores her time in the global spotlight.

“Following husband David Beckham’s doc series chronicling his rise to fame as a successful soccer player and pop culture icon, the upcoming doc promises to get up close and personal with the former pop star as she juggles her business and family life.”

However, Victoria is actually one of a handful of home-grown stars whose documentaries were revealed on Wednesday.

Earlier that day, Netflix revealed it was putting together a new documentary about celebrity chef (and Beckham family friend) Gordon Ramsay.

“The series will follow Gordon in the lead up to his biggest restaurant venture to date: the opening of five culinary experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate,” Netflix revealed, joking: “Watch, or be an idiot sandwich.”

Meanwhile, there’s also a documentary in the works about Take That, featuring all five original members of the chart-topping band, which now operates as a three-piece.

“With access to Gary, Howard and Mark and featuring interviews with Jason and Robbie, this series will give unprecedented insight into one of Britain’s most successful and beloved bands,” Netflix said.

Robbie Williams’ own history as a member of Take That was previously explored in his own self-titled Netflix show, which began streaming towards the end of last year.

ITV Loose Women star Linda Robson is moving on after splitting from husband of 33 years Mark Dunford – but insists she has no plans to date in her 60s following her divorce

Loose Women star Linda Robson has revealed she is selling her London home after splitting from her husband of 33 years.

The 65-year-old actress, who is most famous for starring in sitcom Birds of a Feather, lived in the property with ex Mark Dunford, who she married in 1990. It’s also been the place for family gatherings as Linda and Mark share two children, son Louis, 31, and 27-year-old daughter Roberta. While Linda has an older daughter Lauren, 40, from a previous relationship.

But now she is single again, Linda has announced she plans to downsize after admitting being “unhappy” in her home with Mark for years and is now making plans to move into a two-bedroom house where there is enough room for her, the dog and her grandkids.

She said: “I’m going to live in a two-bedroom house for my grandchildren. Me and the dog and the two grandkids. I want to be right near Lauren [her eldest daughter] and between me and my sister.”

In an interview with Woman magazine, Linda was asked if she would be sad to wave goodbye to a house full of memories, but in what could be a hint at her marriage problems, she shared: “Yes I’ll miss it. But the last few years I haven’t that happy.”

Linda confirmed her and Mark’s marriage was over in September last year following months of speculation the pair were on the rocks. It came two months after her bombshell admission on a live Loose Women show that the pair hadn’t had sex in two years. Linda also said she was the sociable one in the relationship, while Mark “never enjoyed that side of things”.

She then turned to Frankie Bridge and said: “You weren’t here then, but you would have been there. Everyone was ringing my family, checking to see how I was every day, you were all amazing. We were out in Ibiza for a boot camp and I had a proper breakdown. Stacey [Solomon] had to bring me home a day early because I couldn’t get through the day.

“You were all amazing. I didn’t have a phone but you guys were ringing my kids all the time to see how I was.” Co-panellist Nadia Sawalha told her pal: “You are our friend and you were in such a sad and unhappy place. Just as human beings, we swelled towards you.”

Linda previously discussed how the Loose Women’s Ibiza getaway resulted in her being admitted to rehab. She talked about how the holiday with Stacey Solomon, Nadia Sawalha, Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and Saira Khan in June 2018 did not end how she hoped after her colleagues and pals realised she was in a bad place.

“I was trying to act normal and be part of the gang, but I was struggling to get through the day”, she explained. She said that she took a couple of bottles of vodka which she drank to try and knock herself out at night but it did not work. “I’d already had a couple of sleepless nights and, by the third, I ended up having a proper meltdown,” she shared.

She added that she “wanted to die” because she “wasn’t enjoying life anymore”. Her co-hosts were so worried about her that they contacted her family and it was decided that she would go back to the UK and straight to a rehab facility in London. Stacey came with her during her “terrible state” and helped her find a clinic.

ITV won’t be airing one of its daytime shows for four days this week to accommodate Cheltenham Festival, though a host of its other shows are unaffected by the event

Loose Women is being replaced in the TV schedule later this week, with it taking a temporary break for a few days.

The ITV panel show airs weekdays around midday but it’s been replaced in the channel’s schedule for four days this week. The show won’t air between Tuesday and Friday due to the broadcaster’s coverage of Cheltenham Festival.

The ITV Lunchtime News typically follows Loose Women at 1.30pm but has been brought forward an hour, falling into the former’s usual slot. It’s to accommodate the horse racing event, which is due to air from 1pm to 4.30pm for much of this week, which covers the other half of Loose Women’s usual slot.

And although fans may be disappointed by the news, Loose Women won’t be off air for long. The show is scheduled to return next Monday (March 18) once Cheltenham Festival, which runs from March 12 to 15 this year, has concluded.

ITV hasn’t altered its morning line-up of shows though. Good Morning Britain, which airs from 6am to 9am, will be broadcast as usual this week. It will be followed by Lorraine from 9am to 10am each day. Similarly, This Morning, which usually airs from 10am to 12.30pm in the slot immediately before Loose Women, isn’t affected either and will air as usual.

It’s the latest instance of Loose Women being replaced in the schedule, with coverage of the chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s Spring Budget having taken its slot on Wednesday afternoon just last week. This Morning was also affected, with that show having ended earlier than usual that morning.

Ahead of its absence later this week, Monday’s episode of Loose Women promises to be a “very glamorous show”. It comes following the Academy Awards – which is typically known as the Oscars – having taken place on the weekend. The awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch and Katie Piper will be on the panel of the ITV show later to discuss the winners in a special episode. The panellists will be joined by actor Nigel Havers, whose career has included starring in the acclaimed Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire (1981).Loose Women’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter, teased in a post on the platform: “We’re starting the week with an Oscars special! After much speculation, today the Princess of Wales put out a tweet on social media where she said she had edited a photo of her and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. She wrote on social media: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”

The topic was still a big discussion today on Loose Women, where the panellists including Denise Welch and Ruth Langsford discussed the edited photograph amid the furore of public discussion and conspiracy theories.

Speaking on the show today, she said: “Apparently, there are huge rules that the big picture agencies around the world follow that they say they will not use photos that have been doctored or Photoshopped. I talked about Kate Middleton last week and received a barrage of negative messages online about it. I, like everyone else, have nothing against Kate Middleton, I wish her the best of luck in everything she does. I am also supportive of the Sussexes but apparently you have to be one or the other.

“My point was why are they allowing this controversy and conjecture to continue. Also, it was the way we were blindly led to believe that it had been posted post-surgery. It could have been anytime. Do I believe Catherine Middleton, who has said nothing about her illness has suddenly come up to justify Photoshopping a photo, no I don’t.”

She continued: “Do I think that the PR team at Kensington Palace should be fired? Yes I do. I think they’re absolutely making a mockery. I would just like to say quickly – whether Kate did it or the PR did it, the photo has been doctored. Why when there is all this speculation behind the scenes would they put a picture of her without her wedding ring. Why? If you’re gonna Photoshop it, Photoshop your ring on Catherine, because that’s just caused another [furore].”

Lorraine Kelly branded the edit “stupid”. She said earlier today: “What an own goal, this has backfired spectacularly. It was supposed to put to rest all the conspiracy theories and now everyone is talking about the images having been doctored in some way.

“It’s clumsy, you can give them the benefit of the doubt, but it does show you what scrutiny they’re always under. What a stupid thing to do – if they have done that, it’s dumb I think is the word.”
