David Beckham has shared a fresh glimpse of his sprawling Cotswolds garden – and it’s a real feast for the eyes.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the former professional footballer uploaded a clip of himself striding across his flourishing garden whilst being followed by his beloved hens. Take a look in the video below…

In the clip, David, who lives at his £12 million property with his wife Victoria, shared a snippet of his hens’ incredible wooden chicken coop, glimpses of his raised vegetable borders and fruit orchard,

in addition to a magnificent view of his flashy glass greenhouse which he had installed towards the end of last year.

Captioning his post, David simply penned: “Good morning”, followed by a hen emoji. The star’s fans and friends flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one writing:

“This is the dream garden”, while another penned: “Love that you share these special moments, it’s the little things in life that bring us joy!”

While David and his brood also own homes in Miami, London, their countryside bolthole is arguably their most beloved property.

The Grade-II Listed farmhouse, which is believed to have doubled in value since the former England player began renovations, is where David appears to be most content; “I wanted a place where we could escape,” he shared in his titular Netflix docuseries.

Aside from the beautifully pristine veg patch and chicken coop area, David and Victoria’s home in Chipping Norton also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a football pitch, a £100k treehouse for their children, and a £50,000 safari tent in the grounds for entertaining.

The couple even enlisted the help of a Chelsea Flower Show winner to fulfil their vision of creating a “fairytale” garden complete with its own natural swimming pond. In 2020, meanwhile, the family installed their very own beehive, with David taking over the reigns of managing the Beckham’s honey production.

Sharing a glimpse inside his surprising pastime, David told a producer in the opening episode of his Netflix documentary: “Here it comes, I see it dripping,” before he is asked: “What’s the name of your honey again?”

In response, David adds: “There is a bit of an argument in the house at the moment. I think it should be called Golden Bees. Victoria likes DB’s Sticky Stuff.”

Whilst they tend to spend the majority of their time at their London base, David and Victoria frequently escape to their countryside retreat with their four children, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19 and daughter Harper, 12.

The footballer said that over the years his circle of ‘20 good friends’ has gradually decreased to a trio of ‘really good friends’.

These three along with his wife Victoria and their four children are enough to keep him content, Mr Beckham said in an interview.

He did not disclose if he chose to limit his number of friends, or if he has been gradually abandoned over the years.

The 36-year-old also did not specify who the three were, although he is known to be on very good terms with Tom Cruise who lives close to him in Los Angeles.

Former Manchester United team mate Gary Neville was his best man at his wedding and he is chummy with Princes William and Harry.

Speaking to the U.S. edition of Men’s Health magazine, Mr Beckham said: ‘I’ve got friends at the different teams I’ve played for, but family is the most important thing to me.

‘That will always be the case. I’ve got my wife. I’ve got my four kids. I’ve got parents, grandparents still, and three really good friends.

‘It’s all you need. I’d rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends.’

Victoria Beckham has had to endure Paris Fashion Week, her 50th birthday and various overseas trips in between with her broken foot.

But on Thursday, the fashion designer shared her joy over finally being able to remove her medical boot and ditching the crutches for her stilettos.

Sharing her “exciting news” on Instagram, the Spice Girls star revealed in a clip: “Ok, really exciting news. I’m walking without my boot and crutches. My foot is finally better.

I am so happy to be out of those leggings and into my denim.”

Back in February, Victoria told fans she had hurt herself. Posting a picture of her foot covered in a bag of ice, she wrote: “Happy Valentine’s Day to me… fell over in the gym!!!”

Her husband David Beckham poked fun at the situation days later, joking that his wife was having a “clean break” from the gym.

“Apparently my wife’s little accident in the gym was a clean break… [sad face],” he wrote next to a picture of her injury.

It’s not the first time the former Spice Girls singer has suffered an injury. During a trip to Canada in 2018, Victoria returned on crutches after suffering a small stress fracture to her ankle.

David Beckham’s wildly popular new Netflix series, Beckham, is letting fans in on his other hobbies—outside of just soccer and his duties as a total family man.

Turns out, the former professional footballer is quite the cook, just like son Brooklyn. And he has the kitchen to show for it.

In the last episode of Beckham, David reveals that he spends most weekends cooking in his £50,000 BBQ tent, which features a 12-seater table and massive grill, the Daily Mail reports.

Beckham’s seen in the series meticulously frying mushrooms and prepping a roast dinner, while showing off his opulent cooking space.

“On Saturday morning I just potter around this place, it’s my escape,” he says.

“I’m in here from 11 to 9/10 o’clock at night, sometimes later, just grilling! That’s all I do, I bring my iPad, watch the football.”

The pricey outdoor kitchen was actually designed by famous pal Guy Ritchie’s company, The WildKitchen, and features an outdoor grill called The WildTable that Ritchie himself has described as a “brand new way to cook, gather, and eat.” According to the outlet, it burns charcoal or wood under a glass lid and funnels the smoke away by a flue. Prices reportedly run between £2,500 for a four-seater to £50,000 for a 12-seater, like the Beckham’s.

David’s opulent outdoor kitchen also features the WildTent with a retractable canvas and hardwood floors for year-round dining. Beckham has previously showed off the impressive set up on Instagram, while adding he cooked “by far the greatest fish” he’s ever eaten on the cooker.

The explosive new book claims David was left “perplexed” at the snub in 2018, particularly as he’d been friends with the Duke of Sussex for years.

Tom claimed: “Beckham found himself alone at the Invictus Games stadium,” Mr Bower wrote about the Sydney-based event.

“Arriving on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry he was perplexed why officials were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry.”

David is said to have questioned the whereabouts of Harry and was oblivious that “the prince had ordered that under no circumstances was the footballer to be allowed near him.

Tom claimed: “Photographs of the two together were forbidden. The royal snub was brutal. David Beckham was puzzled.

“Why did the prince refuse to meet him?

“The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan. She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria.”

Also in his bombshell biography, Tom claimed Meghan was “irritated” that Victoria had “considerably more wealth” than her.

The book alleged Meghan “put on airs” around Victoria when they first met, due to her status within the royal family and also as the Californian actress felt she had “little in common” with the former Spice Girl.

The biography claims: “In Meghan’s celebrity world, ranking depended on wealth and fame.

According to the book, Victoria reportedly made an effort to befriend Meghan, due to her family’s long-standing friendship with Prince Harry and Prince William.

Tom claimed “a member of Victoria’s staff offered Harry’s fiancé advice on the best facials and hairdressing in London.”

When it was reported that Victoria had given Meghan beauty advice, the relationship is said to have soured, with the Duke of Sussex allegedly calling David to accuse him and Victoria of leaking stories, leaving David ‘furious.’

The Beckhams did secure an invite to Harry and Meghan’s 2018 royal wedding, however Tom claims that in a bid to “punish” the Beckhams, they were not invited to the wedding dinner, despite welcoming other big names like George Clooney, who Meghan did not know personally.

Cracks allegedly first started emerging in the pair’s friendship in spring 2022 when the former footballer invited Prince William and Kate to his son Brooklyn’s wedding – and not Harry and Meghan.

AFTER flying for 22 hours from London to Sydney at Prince Harry’s request, David Beckham was puzzled why the prince had not met him.

But the prince had had no plans to see the former England football captain, nor even of being pictured with him, claimed Tom Bower.

It was October 2018, and Harry was hosting the Invictus Games.

Since David had played a prominent role bringing the 2012 Olympics to Britain and an important part in the 2010 unsuccessful bid for the football World Cup, it seemed natural for Prince Harry to ask David to join him at the celebrated competition for injured servicemen.

As a man who loved the royals, David would never refuse such an important request.

But having flown half-way around the world, he was perplexed why officials after he arrived at the sporting venue were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry.

She wanted no competition in the media from David, and especially not from his wife, Victoria.

The reason for the distance was Meghan, the newly married Duchess of Sussex.

At the time, a source said: “David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guests.

“It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry.

“They are the people David and Victoria are attached to and it’s always been about them because they’ve had a long history together.”

And perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence that after the apparent ‘snub’, Meghan seemingly stopped wearing Victoria’s designs – while Kate wore them more frequently.

It seems the Beckhams’ loyalty to the other members of the royal family has paid off, with David being given a top charity ambassador role by King Charles after the pair bonded over love of nature.

Ex-Manchester United ace Becks, 49, surprised the King, 75, last year with a jar of his homemade honey then chatted about their passion for beekeeping.

The late Queen Elizabeth II’s true feelings about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s security has been revealed in unearthed letter.

After stepping down as senior working royals at the start of 2020, Meghan and Harry lost many benefits of royal life – including that of automatic police security in the United Kingdom.

Whilst Harry is said to have disputed his security removal, in a separate legal case he is involved in a letter written on behalf of his late grandmother.

The letter – which was penned by the late monarch’s private secretary Sir Edward Young – read: “You will understand well that ensuring that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain safe is of paramount importance to Her Majesty and her family.

“Given the Duke’s public profile by virtue of being born into the Royal Family, his military service, the Duchess’s own independent profile, and the well-documented history of targeting of the Sussex family by extremists, it is imperative that the family continues to be provided with effective security.”

Sir Edward’s letter also noted that the late Queen was well aware however that RAVEC would make their final decision on Harry and Meghan’s security independently. But that it also made clear that the late monarch felt that it was important that they continued to receive adequate protection.

The letter was then handed down in a judgment from Mr Justice Nicklin in a libel case Harry brought against Associated Newspapers Limited over an article by the Mail on Sunday in 2022. The article was about Harry’s legal challenge against the Home Office over his security arrangements.

Harry recently spoke of his security battle, which began back in 2020, in a documentary titled ‘Tabloids on Trail’ – which aired on ITV last month. The Duke spoke of his fears over bringing his young family to the UK. The 39-year-old suggested that his fears were the reason for his wife’s absence from the UK – and why they hadn’t bought their children to his home country since 2022.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now reside in the US, where they have lived since 2020. The couple moved a few months after stepping down from royal duties with their now-five-year-old son, Archie. They welcomed their daughter Lilibet, now three, in June 2021.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway’s son was arrested on Sunday night following a serious incident in Oslo.

Marius Borg Høiby, 27, spent more than 30 hours in custody after an alleged altercation in an apartment in Frogner after a woman in her 20s called the police.

According to Se og Hør, Borg Høiby allegedly attacked the woman ‘psychologically and physically’ and was arrested.

The woman was taken to hospital where she was diagnosed with a concussion before being released in the early hours of Monday morning.

Reports suggest that Borg Høiby was put in solitary confinement and a blood test was taken to find out if he was under the influence of drugs.

Police told Se og Hør: “A person was arrested and charged with assault and later released from custody.”

The apartment where the incident took place appeared to have been destroyed, according to Norwegian publication Dagbladet.

Borg Høiby is the eldest child of Princess Mette-Marit, who was a single mother when she met Crown Prince Haakon through mutual friends in 1999.

The 27-year-old is now reportedly at the royal Skaugum estate with his 50-year-old mother.

Princess Mette-Marit was due to attend the men’s 1500-metre final at the Paris Olympics last night, but Crown Prince Haakon appeared in the stands alone.

Norwegian Palace confirmed to local media that the Crown Princess has decided to “temporarily postpone” her trip to France following the incident.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once brutally “snubbed” David Beckham – which prompted the former footballer to take “revenge” on the couple.

According to author Tom Bower – who has penned a number of books about the Royal Family – the sporting star felt that he had been snubbed by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just months after their glamorous royal wedding in 2018.

The Invictus Games took place in Sydney in October 2018 – just five months after the wedding – and David came along to support. But the former footballer was left “puzzled” that Harry kept his distance.

Mr Bower claimed that David had arrived “on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry [and that] he was perplexed why officials were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry”.

The author alleged that Harry had asked for David to be kept at a distance from him at the Games – and that this request had originally come from Meghan Markle.

The author alleged: “Photographs of the two together were forbidden. The royal snub was brutal. David Beckham was puzzled.

“Why did the Prince refuse to meet him? The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan.

“She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria”, as reported by the Mirror.

A few years later, when the opportunity came up to support Prince William, David was reportedly keen to do so – with the two brothers having now began a strained relationship since the Sussexes move to the US.

During the 2022 World Cup, William invited David to Boston for the Earthshot Prize. The former footballer then flew nearly 8,000 miles to support the launch of the awards – which aims to find solutions to the climate crisis. According to Bower, this move showed that David “had got his revenge for the Sydney snub”.

Prince William is furious that his brother Prince Harry is landing a huge sum of money in just weeks, sources claim.

The Duke of Sussex is set to inherit £7million from a trust set up by his great-great grandmother the Queen Mother, when he turns 40 on September 15.

Harry is set to receive a larger share of the inheritance than his brother, given William is already benefitting from the Duchy of Cornwall wealth.

But the Prince of Wales is reportedly unhappy at the sum, given Harry has stepped back as a senior royal and has subsequently criticised Royal Family members both on TV and in his explosive memoir Spare.

A source told Closer: “William’s pretty disgusted that once again Harry’s going to be cashing out and taking millions back to his Montecito home without lifting a finger for it.

“There’s nothing he can do about it, aside from shaking his head, but if it were up to him, Harry would not be getting this payday.

“William doesn’t think his brother is in any position to be getting this handout and he’s letting it be known that he things it’s a pretty rotten situation.

“William and Kate don’t trust Harry or Meghan one bit, so the idea that Harry’s now cashing in on his great-Granny’s inheritance leaves a very bitter taste in their mouths.”

Since leaving the UK for the US in 2020, Harry has criticised his family and the royal set-up on a number of occasions.

In Spare, he alleged he was left with stitches after a physical altercation with William. He admitted to Oprah Winfrey he was on “different paths” with his sibling and hoped things would “heal”.

Meghan Markle, meanwhile, claimed sister-in-law Princess Kate left her in tears with a comment before her wedding day and made an allegation of racism against an unnamed Royal Family member.

According to Closer, William believes the inheritance shows Harry “is essentially being rewarded after the terrible treatment he’s shown them all” and that it “is just wrong on so many levels”.

It comes after a commentator suggested Harry would have missed out on the inheritance had the Queen Mother been aware of what was to come.

Speaking to Fox News, Christopher Andersen said: “Of course, the prince’s great-granny couldn’t have anticipated all the trouble Harry caused the rest of the family. I think she would have cut him out of [the trust] entirely had she known.”
