Prince Harry is considering a return to the UK, claims a friend of the Duke.

Prince Harry is planning an imminent return to the UK – but only “on one condition”, it has been claimed.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, could be set to attend the funeral of Robert Fellowes. Mr Fellowes, who was the uncle of princes William and Harry via his marriage to the late Princess Diana’s sister, passed away on July 29 aged 82.

Despite having recently said via his interview on ITV’s ‘Tabloids on Trail’ that he feels it would not be safe for him to return to the UK, Harry reportedly feels that he may make a return if there is not “too much drama”.

Speaking about the forthcoming funeral, a friend of the Duke told The Daily Beast: “He would want to be there. It will be a huge gathering of the Spencer clan.

“[But] it may well be that everyone feels Harry’s attendance would just create too much drama.”

EXCLUSIVE: There has been a gentle reminder that social media posts and photos from family events are to be avoided at Balmoral this year.

A rather extraordinary rule has been put in place for younger members of the Royal Family attending Balmoral this year – a ban on mobile phones and pictures taken at family events, Express.co.uk can reveal.

According to our extremely well-placed source, younger members of the extended family will be in attendance at Balmoral Castle next week which could prove a minefield for Palace aides.

“There has been a gentle reminder that social media posts and photos from family events are to be avoided,” said the source.

“It’s a private family holiday and due to extended members of the family joining this year, they are trying to keep everything as private as possible.

“There are a lot of teenagers in attendance and there would be nothing worse than seeing a photo of King Charles trying to force a potato into his mouth on social media.

“Official social media accounts are a different story because those photographs are approved by the communications team before being uploaded.”

According to the source, Queen Camilla’s children and grandchildren are set to join the Royal Family at Balmoral this year and will stay in the main castle which is usually used to entertain guests.

Queen Camilla is a very proud grandmother of five. Her son, Tom Parker Bowles, has Lola, 16, and Freddy, 14, and her daughter, Laura Lopes, has Eliza, 16, and 14-year-old twins, Louis and Gus.

Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, will, of course, be in attendance, as will the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s children Lady Louise Windsor, 19, and James, Earl of Wessex, 16.

Other younger members of the family expected to join them include Mike and Zara Tindall’s three children, daughters Mia, 10, and Lena, 6, and son Lucas, 3, although they still might head off early as Zara has entered the Wellington International Horse Trials on the last weekend in August.

Peter Phillips and his ex-wife, Autumn Kelly, are expected with their daughters Savannah, 13, and Isla, 12.

While extended members of the family and guests stay in the castle itself, senior members of the Royal Family will stay in separate more private cottages on the estate.

King Charles will stay at Birkhall with Queen Camilla while Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children will stay at a cottage known as Tam-Na-Ghar, which was gifted to William by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.

“The King and Queen will remain at Birkhall and will attend dinners and events at the main castle, but it’s not somewhere they stay themselves,” said the source.

“The same goes for William and Kate. They will stay at Tam-Na-Ghar, but will again meet the rest of the family at the castle for special occasions.”

King Charles will remain on the Balmoral estate until the beginning of September and will at some point this summer entertain new prime minister Keir Starmer, his wife Lady Victoria, and their children, as is tradition.

Expert points to sad detail about George, Charlotte and Louis’ bond with Archie and Lili

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have a total of six cousins – including two who live across the pond in the US.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis know “very little” about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, according to one royal expert.

Prince Harry’s two children have spent a majority of their life in the US – with Lilibet having even been born in California.

Speaking of the bond between the five young royals, one expert claimed that George, Charlotte and Louis will likely “never be close” to Archie, five, and three-year-old Lilibet.

Archie, who moved to the US when he was less than a year-old, and Lilibet have had hardly any interaction with their UK family – with the children now having likely been “replaced” by Zara Tindall’s three children.

Speaking of the sad detail, royal expert Phil Dampier told Fabulous: “It’s so sad that the Wales’ kids basically know very little about their cousins across the pond and are never likely to be close to them.

“It’s not thought that George, Charlotte and Louis have ever met Archie and Lilibet.”

He also added that Harry and Meghan likely invited their nephews and niece to their daughter’s first birthday party back in 2022 – but that they did not show.

Lilibet, who is now aged three, celebrated her first birthday during their visit to the UK to mark the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Mr Dampier said: “Although they were invited to Lilibet’s first birthday party at Frogmore Cottage, they did not go.”

George, Charlotte, and Louis are said to share a close bond with Zara and Mike Tindall’s children – Mia, 10, Lena, six, and three-year-old Lucas.

Mia was spotted holding Louis’s hand as the Royal Family made their way to St Mary Magdalene’s Church on the Sandringham Estate on Christmas Day 2023. As the family made their way past well-wishers, Mia was also spotted giggling with Charlotte.

Mr Dampier added: “In many ways the children of Zara and Mike Tindall have replaced Archie and Lilibet as the closest cousins of George, Charlotte and Louis.

“Their children Mia, Lena and Lucas are similar in age and when they see each other the fun is infectious. At Christmas at Sandringham, at events like Trooping the Colour, state occasions or holidays at Balmoral, the cousins play together and get on well.”

The cost of police overtime for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s brief visit to Vancouver has been revealed.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s brief visit to Vancouver cost around £34,558 ($44k) in police overtime, it has been revealed.

Canadian police have now logged the cost of their overtime during the couple’s short trip – which saw them visit both Vancouver and Whistler between February 14 and 16.

The visit came as the couple promoted Harry’s Invictus Games, which is set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler in February 2025.

The Duke of Sussex, who stepped down from royal duty back in 2020, launched the Games – which is a multi-sporting event for wounded, injured and sick armed forces and veterans – in 2014.

Whilst the Games covered £8,027 ($10,221) of the cost, taxpayers in Canada were still expected to fork out £34,558 ($44k) in overtime.

In records, which have been obtained by CTVNews.ca, the costs were described as being to cover “overtime for police security”.

In an email to CTVNews.ca, a Vancouver Police Department spokesperson said: “We didn’t specifically provide security for them [Harry and Meghan]. But we had officers in the area they were in [in] case any issues arose due to the ongoing protests in the city.”

A number of protests also took place in Vancouver back in February, including rallies in support of Palestinians and Sikh independence.

In a statement to the publication, Doug Maynard – who is director of security for Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 – said that taxpayers “did not fund” security during the Vancouver visit.

Harry and Meghan's visit to Canada

Harry and Meghan’s visit took place between February 14 and 16 (Image: GETTY)

He said: “Taxpayers did not fund The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s security during their visit last February; their private security detail was paid by individual donations directed by the donors for that purpose.

“Public safety was ensured by Vancouver Police resources in the area should issues have arisen due to protests in the city at that time.”

Speaking back in February 2020 – just weeks after it was revealed that Harry and Meghan had made the decision to step down from royal duties – Public Safety Canada announced that it would stop providing RCMP security to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It was previously reported that the RCMP spent more than £43,000 ($56k) to protect the couple during the weeks that they spent in Canada between November 2019 and January 2020.

Late Queen’s surprising comment on what Princess Charlotte is like as a sister

The late Queen once made a surprising comment about Princess Charlotte – and what the young royal is like as a sister to Prince George and Prince Louis.

The late Queen Elizabeth once revealed what Princess Charlotte is like as a sister to Prince George and Prince Louis.

Charlotte, 9, is the Prince and Princess of Wales’s middle child – and is just shy of two years younger than George.

The young royal has often shown fans that she is a confident and self-assured little girl, with the late Queen previously commenting on Charlotte’s protective side.

During an outing back in January 2018, when Charlotte was just two, the late Queen asked ten-year-old student Emily Clay’s mum whether her eldest daughter looked after her younger sister.

As per Town & Country, Emily’s mum replied that it was “the other way around”, to which the late Queen shared that it was “like that with Charlotte and George”

Charlotte has often been seen looking out for Louis, 6, – but also 11-year-old George. She is, however, particularly protective over her younger brother, who was born in April 2018.

To celebrate Charlotte’s third birthday, Prince William and Princess Kate shared a sweet picture of the proud big sister holding Louis – who would have no more than a week-old in the picture. Charlotte was also spotted taking her role of big sister seriously and was seen sweetly holding onto Louis’ hand at the King’s coronation back in May 2023.

Previously speaking of the youngster, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! that Charlotte appears to be a “confident young lady”.

Celebrity Sightings At Wimbledon 2024 - Day 14

She told the publication: “Charlotte strikes me as quite a confident young lady but, with two brothers, she will no doubt be looking to her mother and other women in the family as role models – from her great-grandmother the Queen to her own mum. All three children have a claim to think of themselves as pretty special to their parents: George because he is the heir, Charlotte because she’s the only girl, and Louis because he’s the youngest.

“Charlotte is reaching the age when she can really appreciate her mother’s sense of style and they can share ‘girlie’ moments together. Catherine also provides the perfect role model for how to behave as a senior member of the Royal Family.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are experiencing “tensions” as the Duke misses his life in the UK, a royal biographer has claimed.

The couple moved to Montecito, California in 2020 after stepping back from the Firm as working royals.

Royal author and expert Tom Quinn claimed that Prince Harry is “bored” with his new life in America. Speaking to the Mirror, he claimed the Duke had “sacrificed” his friendships with several old friends since moving across the pond.

Mr Quinn opined: “Harry is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult.”

The royal expert claimed: “After he’s taken the dog for a walk and maybe gone for a drive, he has nothing to do other than support Meghan. Meghan on the other hand needs someone who has serious determination to succeed in the world. This has led to huge tensions.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales extended a “small olive branch” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just days after the late Queen Elizabeth II’s death, a royal author has claimed.

According to Robert Hardman’s book, ‘Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story’, Kate and William offered Meghan and Harry a “small gesture” that would have been approved by the late monarch, who died aged 96 on September 8, 2022.

Source reveals reason Prince Harry can’t see his friends and family in the UK as much as he’d like

A source has revealed why it is difficult for Prince Harry to make time to see his family and friends in the UK.

The source has mentioned that the ongoing security issues have had quite a significant impact on Harry’s relationships with his nearest and dearest since the royal relocated to America in 2020.

The source said: “It’s not really their fault and because of the Home Office decision, they seem to be suffering because of it.”

The source also revealed that, due to his ongoing security fears, Harry will likely miss his uncle’s funeral in the UK.

I visited a quirky London cafe and it made a very unusual nod to King Charles

London is a city where tradition meets innovation, where cobblestone streets are juxtaposed with modern skyscrapers, and where culinary delights abound at every corner.Among a myriad of cafes and patisseries in Kensington, one stands out—not just for its ambiance or quirky items on sale, but for a particular treat that has locals, tourists and myself talking about.

On a sunny afternoon, I visited the Anya Cafe, a stylish spot created by a British designer favoured by the Princess of Wales – Anya Hindmarch. Princess Kate was famously spotted holding a woven fan clutch by the designer during her royal tour of Canada with Prince William in 2011.

Prince Harry to miss uncle’s funeral due to very strict Home Office rule about UK security

Prince Harry’s relationship with his friends and family has been affected by the Home Office’s decision to downgrade his security, it has been claimed.

Real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘desperate’ to fix rift as new threat looms

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are understood to be dead set on making amends with King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family, and the reason may have something to do with the 2024 US elections.

The Duke of Sussex’s attempts to reach out to his father, who continues to undergo treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, and public comments to the press about his love for his family, firmly suggest this.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are eager to travel to any country that “caters to their ego”, a royal commentator has claimed ahead of their upcoming trip to Colombia.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to visit the country at the invitation of the nation’s vice president, Francia Marquez, later in the year, travelling to the capital, Bogota, and coastal areas.

Royal podcast host and commentator, Kinsey Schofield, says the royal duo is keen to travel to a country that “panders to their narrative”.

She exclusively told Express.co.uk: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trying desperately to be taken seriously as thought leaders. They will travel, no matter what the security concerns are, to any country willing to give them a platform, cater to their ego, and pander to the narrative they’re trying to create.”

Details of the couple’s Colombian itinerary have not been released by the Archewell Foundation, their charitable body, but the vice president said they would “engage in several activities” related to safeguarding young people online and in physical spaces.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Nigeria

Harry and Meghan received criticism for embarking upon a “royal” tour in Nigeria “all but in name” earlier this year – though many commentators hailed it as a success and a reminder of what the Firm has lost.

But the To Di For Daily podcast host believes no one is taking the couple seriously for their upcoming visit.

Kinsey said: “Harry and Meghan have become the butt of the joke in the States. Whether a comedian is taking a swipe at Prince Harry about his frost-bitten penis at a celebrity-filled award show or South Park is destroying the couple for their continued PR stunts… these two have to leave the country to prove that someone out there takes them seriously.”

The podcast host also thinks Meghan will discuss the topic of mental health during her tour, an area she is passionate about combatting and has been hailed for being so open about the taboo issue.

Kinsey said: “They will discuss mental health, navigating social media for children, Meghan will reference being bullied online and Prince Harry will find a way to mention Princess Diana.”

The couple, however, who stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, have been praised by their supporters for their commitment to assisting children with their mental health after a clip from the pair’s latest interview with CBS went viral online.

Highlighting the importance of understanding cyber abuse, Prince Harry and Meghan appeared in a brand-new interview for CBS News last weekend with host, Jane Pauley.

A segment of the interview shared on the popular social media platform, TikTok received attention from many Sussex fans, with one commenting: “I love to see them out doing great things.”

Harry and Meghan are set to discuss important cyber issues during their tour to Colombia, including “cyberbullying”, “online exploitation” and how mental health impacts these threats.

When the Queen issued her formal consent to the marriage, she declared the couple’s full names: “My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.”

So why doesn’t Meghan use her real first name? Meghan has never told the public why she doesn’t go by Rachel – but it’s not a fact she’s ever hidden.

It’s common for fledgeling actors to choose a ‘stage name’ – and one that has a nice ring to it. Meghan Markle, with its alliteration, perhaps was more pleasing than her birth name.

But, it seems, the name that’s on her birth certificate still gets the seal of approval from her fans.

A TikToker – who runs a Prince Harry and Meghan fan site on the platform called team_meghanxharry – recently revealed the fact with a handful of others on a slide of images.

One said: “Princess Rachel Meghan Markle.”

“Beautiful name Suit You, Ma’am,” said another.

Meanwhile, a body language guru has given Express.co.uk an exclusive verdict on how presenter Jane Pauley reacted to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their CBS Sunday Morning interview.

Inbaal Honigman, who was speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, claims that Pauley appeared to have been placing a “mental distance” between herself and Meghan. On the other hand, she believes that she was much more “affectionate” with Harry.

She told us of the conversation, which touched on mental health: “Jane Pauley’s facial expressions when chatting with the royal pair are especially notable, as she appears to respond to Harry very differently to how she responds to Meghan. When listening to the Prince, she is seen smiling towards him with her lips parted, which makes the smile affectionate.

“Her eye contact with him is constant, so she’s listening to what he has to say.”

Princess Eugenie accidentally lets slip one-word nickname for cousin Zara Tindall

Princess Eugenie shared a throwback picture of Zara Tindall at the London Olympics in 2012, which revealed her affectionate nickname.

Princess Eugenie let slip the sweet nickname she has for Zara Tindall, as she paid tribute to cousin’s sporting efforts in a touching Instagram post.

To mark the ongoing Paris Olympics Eugenie shared a throwback from London 2012, when Zara was competing in the equestrian eventing team and won a silver medal.

Eugenie captioned the post: “The Olympics is one of the best things in our world. It’s such a special time watching superhuman athletes represent their countries, bringing people together and inspiring generations.

“Some of my most favourite memories from 2012 was being on the sidelines cheering on our heroes. Not to mention, the best moment of all, watching my family win silver in eventing, goooo Z!”

Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice were at Greenwich Park 12 years ago to cheer on Zara, joined by Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince Harry and Zara’s brother Peter Phillips.

It was an extremely special occasion for the Royal Family, as Zara’s mother (and former Olympian) Princess Anne presented the team with their medals.

Her husband Mike Tindall was naturally also there to support his wife, but it turns out he has his own nickname for her, which is quite similar from ‘Z’.

On an episode of the podcast House of Rugby in 2020, his and Zara’s daughter Lena entered the room where he was recording, prompting him to explain to his co-hosts: “Sorry, Lena’s just on fire at the moment, she’s never quiet.

“I did just send Zed a message, going ‘Shush please,’ so she’s obviously moving from somewhere.”

Another pet name Mike has for Zara is “munchkin”, as he explained on the Total Sport Podcast: “We basically call each other munchkin a lot. I don’t know why that started but it has stuck.”

But Zara revealed she has a saucier name for him, as he turned to her in the interview and added: “I will let Zara decide whether she wants to give away what I am down in her phone as…”

She replied: “When he’s not listening to munchkin or Mikey, it becomes Michael Tindall when there’s no response. He is in my phone as something else and it ends with kitten.”

Mike then cheekily quipped: “You can fill the first word in!”

Zara and Mike have been together since 2003 and tied the knot at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh in July 2011, later welcoming three children together – Mia, Lena, and Lucas.

Zara has been balancing raising her three children with her equestrianism, although she is not going to be representing Team GB in Paris this time around.

The family resides on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, with Peter Phillips and his daughters Savannah and Isla also living there.

Lilibet’s Biological Mother Exposes Shocking Truth: Meghan Markle Never a Mother!

The recent allegations by Maria Gonzalez have sparked a significant uproar globally. Gonzalez, a former housekeeper at Prince Harry and Meghan’s California residence, has come forward with a startling claim: she asserts herself as the biological mother of their youngest child, Lilibet Diana.

According to Gonzalez, the sequence of events unfolded when she unexpectedly discovered her pregnancy in late 2020 following a brief romantic encounter. Allegedly, Meghan approached her to act as a surrogate due to financial difficulties. Gonzalez claims she agreed to carry the child for a fee of $250,000 under the condition of anonymity and without seeking a maternal relationship post-birth.

However, Gonzalez contends that after Lilibet’s birth, Meghan became emotionally attached to the newborn and allegedly reneged on their original surrogacy agreement. When Gonzalez sought to exercise her parental rights and be involved in her daughter’s life, both Meghan and Prince Harry purportedly responded with threats, leaving her distressed and uncertain.

In support of her claim of biological maternity, Gonzalez asserts possession of DNA tests and medical records confirming that Lilibet was conceived using her egg and carried in her womb. She insists that this evidence substantiates her rightful claim to custody, even willing to escalate the matter to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Predictably, legal representatives for Prince Harry and Meghan have vehemently denied Gonzalez’s allegations, asserting they fulfilled all contractual obligations in good faith and have no intention of relinquishing care of Lilibet. As this legal battle looms, Buckingham Palace has expressed concern for Lilibet’s well-being and protection during this delicate time, refraining from direct comment on the matter but emphasizing stability for the young child.

The fallout from this revelation has been extensive, capturing international media attention and eliciting diverse public reactions. Many sympathize with Gonzalez, applauding her courage in asserting her maternal rights, while others support Prince Harry and Meghan, advocating innocence until proven guilty. Speculation abounds regarding potential repercussions for the British monarchy, particularly amid existing challenges like the Megxit saga and Prince Andrew’s legal issues.

Legal experts note the complexity of the case due to its international nature and potential implications for surrogacy laws and parental rights. The scandal has amplified calls for transparency and accountability within the royal family, with public trust hanging in the balance. As legal proceedings unfold, the world watches closely, aware of the profound implications for both the individuals involved and the broader discourse on surrogacy, parental rights, and power dynamics.

Amid intense media scrutiny, Maria Gonzalez and the royal couple maintain steadfast positions. Gonzalez persists in her fight for maternal rights and custody of her daughter, while Prince Harry and Meghan assert their commitment to protecting Lilibet’s well-being and innocence in the matter.
