Loose Women stars ‘cut off’ Gino D’Acampo in ‘chaotic’ segment on ITV show

Loose Women’s Jane Moore was accused of cutting off Gino D’Acampo as he tried to make an ‘important announcement’ during today’s edition of the ITV show

Loose Women’s Jane Moore was accused of ‘cutting off’ Gino D’Acampo in a ‘chaotic’ segment today.

The celebrity chef joined the ITV show’s panel of Jane, Linda Robson, Denise Welch and Brenda Edwards today, but there was chaos in the studio as everyone talked over one another during Gino’s segment. He was there to promote his new cookbook, but as he kept trying to plug the book, Jane had to shut him down multiple times.

The hilarious exchange came to a head at the end of the show, when Gino tried to make a special ‘announcement’ but Jane was adamant the show had to end. She cut him off from speaking, with him showing his apparent anger as the show rolled into credits.

As she wrapped up their chat, Jane said: “Lovely to see you and as Gino might have mentioned, his cookbook is out now,” but half way through Gino interrupted to say: “You don’t need to say that really, they’ve got it, Gino’s Italy…”

He then went to try and make an ‘announcement’, adding: “One second, one second I’ve just got to make an announcement!” but Jane cut in and said: “That is it,” before segueing into what fans of the show could expect from tomorrow’s episode.

“But I was just in the middle of the announcement,” Gino pressed as Linda pretended to hold her hand over his mouth. He then managed to add: “So I’m here and you plug someone else’s book,” as Jane waved goodbye to the viewers.

As the camera cut to a longer shot, Linda could be seen laughing with Gino as she put her hand over his mouth.

It is not the first time an appearance on TV has ended quite chaotic when Gino got involved. In one appearance on This Morning earlier this year, viewers were left stunned as the chef – giving out dating advice – suggested a couple have a threesome.

When one woman called in to quiz the chef on ways to spice up a marriage, Gino had everyone in hysterics as he replied: “You want a bit of spice in your life? I’m going to tread very carefully here.

As the hosts Phil and Holly laughed, he added: “Why not? Why not just get someone else involved and see what’s going to happen.”

Prince Harry furious and Meghan Markle ‘burst into tears’ after shock William statement

In their controversial Netflix series, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talked about the rocky relationships with their royal relatives with Harry claiming he was left furious and his wife cried after a Buckingham Palace statement that drove a wedge between them and Prince William

After their parents’ painful split and the heartbreak of their mother’s tragic untimely death, Princes William and Harry appeared to be the closest of brothers.

But fast forward to today, and the warring siblings are embroiled in a bitter feud as they carve out separate lives on opposite sides of the Atlantic. The breaking point in their bond came after Harry married wife Meghan Markle – and their pair struggled to adapt to royal life.

And in the Sussexes’ controversial Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the couple take aim at William and recall a flashpoint that Harry claims left him furious and his wife in floods of tears. It came when Harry says he did not give his permission for a joint palace statement to be put out dismissing bullying claims – and says a wedge was driven between the pair.

Speaking over clips of the brothers playing in an old fire truck and newspaper headlines about the acrimony in their relationship in episode five, Harry said: “I mean, the saddest part of it was this wedge created between me and my brother so that he’s now on the institution’s side.

“And I get, part of that I get. I understand right? That’s his inheritance, so to some extent it’s already ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the survivability and the continuation of this institution. That day, a story came out that part of the reason why Meghan and I were leaving was because William had bullied us out. And once I got in the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother’s name squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family.

“I couldn’t believe it. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that. And I rang M and I told her and she burst into floods of tears because within four hours they were happy to lie to protect my brother and yet for three years, they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”

Last week, Harry marked his 40th birthday and nobody could have quite predicted how his estranged royal relatives would publicly mark the day. But what played out was both King Charles and William taking to their official social media accounts to send on their regards. For the first time in three years, the Royal Family account shared a post on X that said simply: “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!” The message was also accompanied by a picture of a smiling Harry and an emoji of a birthday cake.

Around an hour later, the same post was shared by the Prince and Princess of Waleses’ X account along with the message: “Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!” Some will see the post as a surprise move given the unresolved tensions between the brothers, which has shown no sign of abating.

But according to royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward, there was a big reason for the message. She told the Mirror : “King Charles would have celebrated his son’s 40th from a distance. Milestone birthdays are important to the royals. Whatever upsets Harry has caused would have been forgotten for the day.

“Even Prince William wished his brother Happy Birthday – even if it was through clenched teeth. He doesn’t trust him, but together with his family, he wished him the best on his milestone birthday.”

Nadia Sawalha ‘worried sick’ with secret health scare as she shares snaps from hospital

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha says she was “worried sick” after being taken into hospital recently in a terrifying health scare which she ‘wishes she’d dealt with earlier’

Nadia Sawalha was “worried sick” after being hospitalised in a recent health scare.

The Loose Women panellist, 57, shared a hospital bed snap this evening, saying that she wishes she had “dealt with it sooner” after undergoing a hysteroscopy.

The former Eastenders actress said she has been given the all clear after the procedure, which is to examine the inside of the womb.

“The only reason I’m posting these pics is because I want to catch your eye and urge you if you have been worrying about any symptoms you’ve been experiencing to bite the bullet and get yourself seen,” the Annie Palmer actress penned on Instagram.

She added: “Delaying things will only cause more worry.

“I’m not going to lie I’ve been worried sick myself recently but was given the all clear on Monday! I only wish I had dealt with it earlier, so I didn’t get myself into such a pickle.

“Don’t delay make the call. Get seen. You know it makes sense. Big hugs, love Nads xxx #womenshealth #hysteroscopy #wombwellness”.

Fans and celebrity pals were quick to send messages of support to the former BBC soap star.

One follower said: “Oh Nadia I’m glad you’re OK, but you’re so right, any worry is best dealt with straight the way so you can get on with your life, sending hugs.”

Another said: “Aww, I’m glad you got the all clear Nadia. I actually do need to speak my GP about a few things. And I will asap.”

A third penned: “So glad you took care of it! Gynae stuff is so daunting. Speaking from experience, my friends mum had womb thickness & bleeding & it all ended up ok, all the very bestest x”

Team GB swimmer Eleanor Robinson sent Nadia some hand clapping emojis, while author Laura Belbin added: “Pleased you’re all okay.”

The recent health scare comes after Nadia discovered she was at a “moderately high risk” of becoming prediabetic during a live episode of ITV ‘s Loose Women in 2018.

And although Nadia jokes that his endless talk of healthy eating grew tiresome, she now credits him for helping protect her from the disease.

Speaking on Loose Women previously, she said: “After his diagnosis, Dad was religious with his food and when I was younger I used to think, ‘Oh God, if I hear one more thing about green vegetables and blood sugar,’ but it all went in by osmosis.

“I really admire my father for working so hard to manage his type 2 diabetes and now all that knowledge he has passed down to me is in play now.”

Loose Women’s Denise Welch urges King Charles to ‘read the room’ ahead of coronation

Denise Welch was vocal on Wednesday’s episode of the popular ITV daytime panel show as they discussed the scale of the next royal occasion, which is set to be the coronation of the King

Loose Women panelist Denise Welch has urged King Charles to “read the room” when the plans are drawn for his coronation to be officially crowned as the new monarch.

The actress, 64, was vocal on Wednesday’s episode of the popular ITV daytime panel show as they discussed the scale of the next royal occasion, which is set to be the coronation of the King, following the 10 days of mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96 on Thursday, September 8.

Host Jane Moore asked the panel consisting of Welch, Linda Robson and Brenda Edwards for their opinions about the grandeur of the King’s upcoming coronation.

Robson believed that the crowning ceremony should follow similarly to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee where there were celebrations with localised street parties. Welch agreed with her co-star and explained the reasoning behind her “scaled back” view and also put in a “request” to the new King.

She said: “I think it’s all has been quite a lot, this last 10 days, but I think that it definitely will be a celebration.

“But I think that Charles, hopefully as the new King, will read the room and realise that although the money spent on this type of pageantry and pomp obviously brings a lot of revenue into this country, I think that it should be a slightly scaled back affair.

“And like you say, celebrated more with the street party. Also please, can I put a request into King Charles that it’s just one day because I found that, you know, a lot – 10 days of a media blackout.”

Welch was not scared to voice her dismay during the 10 days of mourning when she took to Twitter after an event she was involved in was cancelled. She ranted about the UK’s decision to cancel and postpone all events following the passing of Her Majesty.

Public and private events alike, including music concerts, were postponed in respect for the Queen and the extended Royal family – but Denise clearly was not entirely on board with the idea.

She wrote: “My friend has been forced to cancel a small charity event I was involved in raising money for people struggling to feed their families in Manchester. Many months of preparation. This is total insanity after the suffering of the last few years and I adored the Queen!!”

Vanessa Feltz defends ‘human’ Prince Harry and his upcoming ‘bombshell’ book

During an appearance on Tuesday’s This Morning, Vanessa Feltz told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she doesn’t think Prince Harry’s upcoming book will ‘deliver the nastiness’

Vanessa Feltz was quick to defend Prince Harry on Tuesday’s This Morning as she spoke about reports of him rewriting his upcoming ‘bombshell’ book.

The 60-year-old broadcaster joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in the ITV studio to discuss the latest headlines, and it wasn’t long before the conversation turned to the royal family.

Holly, 41, began the chat by saying: “According to reports, the King saw flickers of hope in his recent interactions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I mean a lot of people were hoping when you saw the fab four together, maybe this will be the beginning of some sort of friendship, sort of olive branch, reaching out…”

Vanessa then chimed in and said: “Well so did I, I saw flickers of hope, they’re only human! I saw flickers of hope! Look, Harry and Meghan didn’t have to say yes when they were asked to join William and Kate on that walkabout.

“Now we hear rumours from America that Harry is trying to rewrite the book. I knew that would happen, I was sure it would happen.

“I was sure he couldn’t follow his grandma’s coffin in the same way that he followed his mother’s, shoulder-to-shoulder with the only brother in the world who understands what the two of them were going through and go home completely unchanged by that, how could anyone? He’s only human,” Vanessa continued.

“And I just thought he’d go back and he’d try and rewrite and we hear that he is and I hope it’s true, and King Charles would see the flickers and embers of love that are actually there.”

She went on: “I think the book might be very very honest about Harry’s own personal feelings about when he lost his mother and his personal feelings about being in the army, and he just won’t say the horrible things that everyone hopes he will – I don’t – I hope he won’t.

“And I just think you know that’s a book by him, it will deliver, but it won’t deliver the nastiness. And I think if there was any in it, he’ll take it out now,” Vanessa added.

Some of Princess Diana’s most iconic dresses are headed to America!

Five glamorous evening gowns, identical to the ones designed by Jacques Azagury and worn by Diana during her latter years, have been sold to a private collector in Los Angeles for an undisclosed sum.

“The whole collection means a lot to me, and the only reason I am selling them is because as of five weeks ago, I retired,” Azagury tells PEOPLE. “I really wanted people to keep enjoying these iconic dresses and ideally to keep the whole collection together.”

The dresses are “twins” of the originals worn by Princess Diana during her final years and include the iconic black halterneck dress she wore to a charity gala on the night that her controversial Panorama interview was broadcast in 1995.

“She was always very excited by fashion, and she knew she would please so many people just waiting for her to come out in the next dress, whether they were waiting in the streets or watching her on the television,” recalls the Morrocan-born designer who has been in the fashion industry for nearly 40 years. “She took a long time making sure that everything was just right, choosing the right shoes and jewelry.”

Another iconic dress that forms part of the collection is the pale blue above-the-knee dress adorned in tiny crystal bugle beads that Princess Diana wore to a performance of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall in June 1997.

“It was the time of the supermodel, and everyone was wearing shorter dresses and more body-conscious dresses,” says the designer, who recently shut his Knightsbridge boutique, where Diana and he would often meet.

According to Azagury, she loved the short shift dress so much, that he decided to make a longer version “even more glamorous than the original” in black and gifted it to her on her 36th birthday, for which she thanked him with a personal note that is included in the auction lot.

That evening, she attended an event at the Tate Gallery in London wearing the stunning, sparkly dress. It turned out to be her final red carpet event before her tragic death in Paris.

“She was the only person I was really excited to meet, time after time. Every moment was so exciting to me and we had so much fun, ” says Azagury, who worked with Diana for 12 years, through a difficult marriage and her transition out of the royal family. “I never got any of the troubled Diana — whenever we were together, it was just joyous.”

“After the break-up of the marriage, she rediscovered herself and she turned into this unbelievably stunning woman — not that she wasn’t before, but that’s when her personality really started to shine,” he says from his London home. “She had everything; the most amazing legs, that great hair, those blue eyes.”

While he is happy to share the dresses with the public, some of which come with sketches and personal handwritten notes from Princess Diana, the retired designer has held some sentimental items back for himself.

“One of the most precious things that I have is a framed picture that the princess sent me the morning she was leaving for France, from which she never returned,” he said.

Azagury arrived at his shop to find a member of her staff waiting with a parcel. “Inside was a framed picture of Diana wearing three of the famous five dresses, with a message saying; ‘To Jacques, lots of love Diana’ — that I will be keeping all for myself,” he said.

The dresses are soon to make the journey stateside, where they will be added to the growing collection of memorabilia curated by Renae Plant, founder of The Princess & The Platypus Foundation, who runs a 3D interactive online museum featuring over 1,800 pieces of historical items associated with Diana.

Loose Women’s Janet Street Porter warns Harry it’s a ‘dangerous’ time to write memoir

Loose Women star Janet Street Porter has warned Prince Harry that it’s a ‘dangerous’ time to write his memoir following the loss of his grandparents and his father’s accession to the throne

Janet Street Porter has warned Prince Harry it is a “dangerous” time to write his memoir.

The Loose Women panellists gave their verdict on the Duke of Sussex’s ‘tell-all’ and ‘explosive’ memoir, which was due to be released by Penguin Random House in December. It is believed the memoir – which has been described as ‘heartfelt’ – will be released later now following the passing of Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William said to be ”increasingly uneasy” about the content of the memoir. Janet gave her verdict on the timing of the memoir, urging Harry to reconsider writing it now.

Speaking on the ITV lunchtime show, she said: “What I think about Prince Harry is that writing this book now is a very dangerous project because his father has lost both parents in the last year and his father has a new job.

“Whether he’s the King or whatever, he’s got a new job. His brother has also got a new job and with that comes an enormous amount of responsibility, and if you care anything for your siblings and your close family who are still alive, you have to consider the impact of what you’re going to say. I understand that Harry does feel hurt… but is now really the time?”

It comes after Janet suggested it would be better for Harry to pen and release the memoir when his father’s no longer around.

A better time might be when his father’s no longer around. Speaking from my own experience, I wrote a memoir about my mother and why we didn’t get on and I waited until my mum and dad were dead and even then, there were people in my family that didn’t like what I wrote,” she explained previously, “I wrote about my mother and I found it cathartic.

Coleen also agreed, adding: “If I was a friend or a relative, I’ve got to be honest, I’d say, ‘Not now Harry, not now. Wait.’ I think it’s too soon with everything else that’s gone on. I definitely don’t think he should be thinking about things with his grandmother, our Queen, being the age she is and being hurt by so many things recently being said and done.”

Paedophile TV presenter Rolf Harris made a final plea to his daughter Bindi before he died aged 93. Harris, once a household name for shows like Rolf’s Cartoon Club and Animal Hospital, was arrested in 2013 as part of Operation Yewtree.

He was found guilty of 12 indecent assaults on four teenage girls across a period ranging from 1968 to 1986, although one charge was later overturned. He was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison for his crimes, before being released in 2017.

Withdrawing from public life, the disgraced star battled severe illness in his expansive home, which he shared with his wife, Alwen, who recently died from a stroke at the age of 93. It was neck cancer and “frailty of old age” that led to Harris’ own death in May last year, reports the Mirror. Before he died, he implored his 58 year old daughter to care for her mother, telling her: “I always believed we would go on longer together but, if I go first, promise you’ll take good care of your mum.” Reports at the time indicated that his wife Alwen was receiving round-the-clock nursing care as she battled Alzheimer’s Disease.

In recent years, Alwen had been seen in a wheelchair and, according to a 2017 statement, her health was severely deteriorating. It is believed that she resided in the family home with carers attending to her until her passing. Alwen and Harris first crossed paths in the early 1950s while they were both studying at an art school in Kennington.

The couple exchanged vows at St Saviour’s Church in Paddington in 1958. Upon his charges, Judge Mr Justice Sweeney stated that Harris had exploited his celebrity status and exhibited “no remorse”.

Hollywood legend Dame Joan Collins didn’t mince her words while appearing on The One Show as she put a stop to Alex Jones’ proposition of going to a Taylor Swift concert

Dame Joan Collins quickly shut down a suggestion made by The One Show presenter Alex Jones as she attempted to encourage her to see Taylor Swift live.

The legendary icon appeared on Friday’s edition of the popular evening show with hosts Alex and Roman Kemp at the helm. Sharing snippets of her extraordinary life on the famous red sofa, Joan left everyone in the studio awestruck including guests Adeel Akhtar and Chesney Hawkes.

But when asked which famous person would be considered a modern-day icon, Joan was quick to praise singer Taylor. She admitted: “Taylor Swift is a great example to young people! I like the way she dresses, I like her attitude towards life and I suppose she’s an icon. But I’ve never seen her.”

Alex chimed in and said: “Oh! You must go, you’ll have a great time.”
