Victoria Beckham’s recent confession from a romantic getaway with husband David Beckham has sparked a buzz on social media.

On Instagram, Victoria reminisced about romantic vacation with David in Portofino, describing it as “very, very romantic.”

She wrote in caption, “Portofino in 1997 was a very, very romantic trip. I remember how excited I was there to be there with David for the first time.

The intensity of the two of us being together that 48 hours really was amazing… Kisses @DavidBeckham @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty xx”

The heartfelt caption garnered mixed reactions from fans. While some found it sweet, others expressed discomfort.

One wrote, “This h**** caption I’m uncomfortable.”

    Another commented, “The caption.”

However, some praised their enduring love with one writing, “Beautiful . Look how far you both have come. A beautiful family . May you always have love.”

David and Victoria, who married in 1999 and have four children together, continue to be a beloved celebrity couple known for sharing glimpses of their personal lives on social media.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree where Romeo Beckham is concerned, as he looks just like mum Victoria in a new photo shared to his Instagram.

Sharing the sweet snap from his sunny holiday aboard what appears to be a yacht, the 21-year-old football player is focused as he plays backgammon with Victoria.

Similarly, the former Spice Girl has her game face on as she looks across the board.

Romeo captioned the shot: “Perfect weekend.”

Many fans were stunned at their dark-haired similarity and took to the comments. One said: “You look like brother and sister, beautiful family.”

The mother-son duo look to be aboard a large boat, and it could be the £16 million yacht owned by David

and Victoria with the number seven on the side, which is the number David wore when he played for England.

Romeo wore relaxed baggy denim shorts and a white t-shirt, keeping his hair back with a white and gold silk headscarf.

As usual, the fashion designer kept things effortlessly stylish in an all-black look with her long hair tied back in a topknot.

The youngest of the Beckham boys appears to be back on again with his long-term girlfriend Mia Reagan as the couple were recently spotted hand-in-hand on an outing at the Chiltern Firehouse in London.

Back in February, the pair announced their break-up via Instagram, with Romeo saying: “Mooch and I have parted ways after five years of love, we still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.”

21-year-old model Mia shared a throwback snap to when the couple first started dating, captioning the picture: “This is Ro, we have grown up with each other since we were 16!! Love takes different forms & paths as you mature.

“We aren’t [together] romantically but we do share lots & lots of love for one another… after five years we friendzoned each other hehe,” followed by a series of red love hearts.

Victoria Beckham has hinted that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree when it comes to her daughter Harper’s love of all things beauty.

The 49-year-old, who launched her eponymous beauty line in 2019,

shared that while the 11-year-old isn’t allowed out of the house wearing make-up, ‘she’s been able to do a full face and contour for quite some time’.

Speaking to The Times, she fashion and beauty mogul said: ‘She’s good at doing it very naturally. Going to Space NK is her favourite treat after school.

If she does well in a test I’ll take her to the one down the road — it’s her favourite thing. She’s obsessed.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Beckham reiterated her own obsession with beauty when revealing: ‘David [Beckham] has never seen me without my brows.’

She quipped: ‘They’re the first thing I do: wake up, put on the brow. Mine aren’t even, either — they’re sisters, not twins.’

In 2018, Victoria shared a clip of her then six-year-old daughter sweetly applying make-up on her face. ‘So creative!! [sic],’ she captioned the video. ‘Harper wants to turn me into the emoji cat!’

Another clip showed Harper giving her father David a makeover, which included a brown nose, pink tones and glitter.

Harper is Victoria and David Beckham’s only daughter and the youngest child of four – the famous pair also share Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20 and Cruz, 18.

In March, Harper was photographed in a sleek black suit – a nod to her mother Victoria’s sophisticated aesthetic – as she walked hand-in-hand with her father David in Paris. The pair were in the French capital to watch Victoria’s AW23 show.

It wasn’t the the first time Harper was noted for taking after her mother in the style stakes either. The child donned a pretty flared yellow dress at the after party of her mother’s fashion line following the unveiling of her SS23 collection.

Inter Miami’s head coach revealed the enormous amount David Beckham spent on medical fees to hasten Messi’s recovery from injuries sustained during a training altercation (video)

Lionel Messi only established his status as the greatest of all time over the weekend, as Argentina won another Copa America trophy.

Lionel Messi watched from the sidelines as MLS fans and soccer fans worldwide felt a tear in the eye, watching the man who the sport owes so much to crying on the sideline.

It was his final trophy won for Argentina and he bowed out in the best way possible, by winning another international honour.

After all, it’s what the little boy from Rosario, Argentina, came out of his initial retirement to achieve and he conquered the Argentinian landscape,

forever immortalised alongside the likes of Diego Maradona.

For Inter Miami fans, it was not nice to see their star player forced off the pitch through injury.

Oftentimes, it is Messi’s low centre of gravity which makes him impossible to tackle, meaning he is subject to rough-and-tough from his opponents, which was no different in the Copa America final.

Inter Miami head coach reveals major Lionel Messi injury update

But when can Inter Miami fans expect him back in MLS action? Aside from rightfully celebrating the Copa America win, Inter Miami fans also have the Lionel Messi injury concern to contend with. Thankfully, the Inter Miami head coach has provided a crucial update on the Lionel Messi injury situation.

As per Hindustan Times, Inter Miami head coach Tata Martino said: “The club’s medical report is out and the information is that regarding the times, it will surely be evaluated week by week, We are going to see just how his recovery is without taking any kind of risk.”

Reading between the lines, this is good news for Inter Miami fans. If the injury was initially thought to be more severe, it would be checked in on less routinely than week by week. It is also refreshing to see that Inter Miami are not rushing Lionel Messi back into action.

Inter Miami have certainly struggled without Lionel Messi, which is to be expected. He is their best and most influential player after all, boasting many connections on and off the pitch. However, rushing him back into action was never the right course of action.

After all, Martino (and no doubt, the Inter Miami medical team) are better off easing him back into action. Messi is sadly not as young as he once was, so risking further injury for the benefit of getting him back ahead of schedule is not beneficial.

Thinking short-term, Lionel Messi will definitely not play against Chigao Fire this weekend.

Victoria Beckham revealed that her Husband David Beckham has never seen her without impeccably shaped eyebrows.

The 50-year-old fashion designer took to her official Instagram account on Saturday and posted a makeup tutorial while using her own brand’s product.

While promoting the BabyBlade Brow Pencil from her makeup line, Victoria Beckham Beauty, she said, “I am completely brow obsessed.”

During the video, she advised her 33 million followers about the imperfection in the eyebrows, “Nobody’s brows are the same.

Remember everybody, they’re sisters, not twins – don’t let perfection get in the way.”

In the clip, she can be seen sitting in her bedroom wearing a white gown.

She confessed about her eyebrows saying, “Even my own husband never sees me without my brows on.”

The Spice Girl gave a detailed tutorial on shaping an eyebrow while mentioning her brow pencil’s qualities.

After finishing both brows she gushed, “Gorgeous, fluffy, full brow.”

Victoria’s post came a few days after she shared a video of her 12-year-old daughter, Harper ‘stealing’ her brow gel.

Who left BBC Strictly Come Dancing? Fans stunned over Nick Knowles’ exit

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left with their jaws on the floor when the latest celebrity eviction was revealed on Sunday.

Despite Nick Knowles being confirmed as the latest contestant to be given the boot hours earlier in an online leak, viewers were still surprised to see the DIY SOS star go.

Many took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their shock over Nick’s eviction, saying: “I can’t believe Nick is gone after all of that.” Another echoed: “Omg NOT Nick!!!! He was only just back and now he’s gone.”

“I love Shayne but I think Nick should have stayed,” someone else wrote on X. While another Strictly fan added: “Sad to see Nick go but Shayne deserved to stay. Nick certainly didn’t have an easy time on the show.”

As fans of the long-running BBC dance competition will know, a live show is recorded on Saturday night – with the results show being filmed immediately after. However, the result show airs almost 24 hours after it was recorded and a saboteur has long caused an issue for the BBC by revealing the results of the show before it airs.

Nick and Luba left the competition following a dance off against Shayne and Nancy during the third Results Show of the series. Both couples performed their routines again as they were in the bottom two; Shayne and Nancy performed their Cha Cha to Ain’t No Love (Ain’t No Use) by Sub Sub feat. Melanie Williams. Then, Nick and Luba performed their Charleston to Rain on the Roof from the film Paddington 2.

With three votes in favour of Shayne and Nancy, they won the majority vote meaning that Nick and Luba would be leaving the competition. Head Judge Shirley Ballas also agreed and said she would have decided to save Shayne and Nancy.

When asked by Tess about their time on the show, Nick said: “I’ve really, really been surprised by how much I’ve loved doing it and by two things that happen. One is how much you care each week, and the other is how much you don’t want to let down your partner. The only reason I could do this is simply because of Luba’s changes, she’s been amazing.”

Luba said: “I’ve never met someone as determined as you, and I remember you saying that if you do your best, you’ll be very happy. I think you did more than your best. Thank you.”

When asked by Tess about his partner Luba, Nick said: “Luba’s been amazing and just been so fabulous every day. And I should say thank you also to all the background staff, the physios, all the people that have actually got me through this week, and to all of my fellow competitors who have been absolutely astounding, beautiful people. There are some amazing dancers up there, and I will love watching the rest of the series.”

It is only week four of the competition and so far Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova have been eliminated. As have iconic singer Toyah Willcox and her dance partner Neil Jones. However, many celebrities remain in the contestant and stand a chance to win the Glitterball Trophy in December.

Nick has been battling injury during his time on the show after first injuring his shoulder while fixing a car and later injuring his leg in rehearsals. He was granted a bye during week three, which was also Movie Week where he had been due to perform the Charleston to a song from the film Paddington 2.

However, he was finally able to perform the dance when he returned for week four and he was rewarded with modest scores from the judges – who marked him with 4, 6, 5, 6 – producing a grand total of 21. Other celebrities still in the running include EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas, Olympic icon turned Gladiators star Montell Douglas, who goes by the codename Fire, alongside her dance partner Johannes Radebe, and JLS singer JB Gill and his dance partner Amy Dowden.

On Saturday night, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec triumphed over the other contestants as they secured a whopping 39 points for their Charleston. They performed the dance to the sound of the Strictly house band’s rendition of Unhealthy by Anne-Marie, featuring Shania Twain.

Jamie and Michelle as well as opera singer Wynne Evans and his pro dancer partner Katya Jones were the only closest competition as both couples scored 34 points each from the judges.

Diana’s ‘wicked’ £900 Revenge Dress: 30 years ago today the Princess of Wales wore the little black number to steal limelight as her husband confessed to affair with Camilla

Living well is the best revenge, or so the saying goes.

For Princess Diana, revenge took the form of an off-the-shoulder, form-fitting, silk dress that made history when she wore it 30 years ago today.

On the night Prince Charles admitted to his affair with Camilla, Diana slipped on the little black number by designer Christina Stambolian to send her own message.

As Charles revealed his sin to presenter Jonathan Dimbleby in a TV interview, Diana wore the Revenge Dress – as it was quickly dubbed – for her attendance at a glitzy fundraising dinner at the Serpentine Gallery.

Charles’s conversation was hugely newsworthy. Having been asked if he had been ‘faithful and honourable’, the future King said ‘yes’, before adding: ‘Until (the marriage) became irretrievably broken down, us both having tried.’

But it was Diana’s ‘response’ in the form of her choice of dress – in a colour that the royals reserved for mourning – which made even more of an impact.

Royal writer Tina Brown even described it in her 2007 book The Diana Chronicles as her ‘f***-you dress’, and newspapers at the time agreed.

The Mail reported: ‘Charles blusters as Diana dazzles’.

Diana only wore Stambolian’s dress that night because rival designer Valentino had leaked that the Princess would be wearing one of his designs.

So in making the last-minute swap, a dress that had sat in her wardrobe gathering dust for three years became one of the most famous in history.

She had bought the dress for £900 from Stambolian’s shop after lunching with her brother Charles Spencer at her favourite restaurant, the now-closed San Lorenzo, before wandering down Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge and walking into Stambolian’s shop.

Christina Stambolian remembered Princess Diana asking for a ‘special dress for a special occasion’ in her store back in 1991, according to Claudia Joseph’s book, Diana: A Life in Dresses.

Stambolian previously recalled how Diana was initially unsure about the revealing design – and wanted it in cream rather than black.

She said: ‘We sat down, and I drew a few sketches on a piece of paper.’

‘The dress was revealing, quite short and showed quite a bit of leg and flesh. Diana was not sure about it. She thought it was a bit risqué. She wanted everything more covered up, longer and the neck higher.

‘I told her she had good legs, and she should show them. “Why not be daring?” I said. She asked her brother [Charles] and he said: “Do what you think is right.” Finally, she said “yes” to the style then we moved on to the colour.

‘I had black in my mind, but she wanted cream. To me Diana was a black and white sort of person. I didn’t like her in the pale pinks and blues with lots of beading.’

It took two dressmakers took more than 60 hours to create the outfit.

Stambolian said she was ‘thrilled to see Diana wear it on that night of all nights.’

Referencing Swan Lake – one of Princess Diana’s favourite plays – Ms Stambolian added: ‘She chose not to play the scene like Odette, innocent in white. She was clearly angry.

‘She played it like Odile in black. She wore bright red nail enamel, which we had never seen her do before. She was saying: “Let’s be wicked tonight.”

The dress featured an asymmetrical hem, with a flattering sheer tail which dangled from the cinched waist.

With a flirty sweetheart neckline, Diana turned heads as she paired the dress with sheer tights, stilettos and her beloved pearl and sapphire choker.

The choker originally been a brooch given to her by the Queen Mother.

Diana’s little black dress was daring in many ways.

By opting for a shorter evening look in black – a colour that the Royal Family typically reserved for mourning – the Princess was stepping away from the traditional code of dress.

The outfit represented the death of her marriage as she moved away from her life as a royal and emerged as a new woman.

While three years prior the princess had been too nervous to wear it because it was ‘too daring’, that night it was the perfect fit.

It was everything that any other royal woman wouldn’t have worn to a public event.

Photographer Mark Saunders, the author of Dicing with Di, told the 1997 documentary Diana: In Search of Happiness: ‘Everyone remembers the night of the Dimbleby interview when Prince Charles admitted an affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles and look how Diana turned up at the Serpentine Gallery.

‘I mean my God that was brilliant and I applaud her for it, I thought it was great. But that’s what Diana does, she manipulates and she’s very good at it.’

Diana’s late former stylist Anna Harvey told the 2013 documentary Princess Diana’s Dresses: The Auction, that she wanted to hold her head high in what she chose to wear that evening.

Ms Harvey said: ‘She wanted to look a million dollars. And she did.’ The stylist also wrote in Vogue that it ‘thrilled’ the Princess to make an impact.

But the decision did not come easy to Diana, according to Paul Burrell, her former butler.

He also added that she was worried that the slinky dress would not fit her anymore, having bought it three years prior.

He said: ‘I zipped her up and she looked a million dollars.’

And for a couple of hours, at least, her husband’s television confession was forgotten as all eyes were on Diana.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

On May 19, 2018, the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Two days prior, the bride and groom rehearsed their lines behind closed doors, while the military conducted their preparations in the town.

Meghan opted for a white pussybow shirt and jeans, styling her raven tresses in a half up-half down fashion, while Harry wore a shirt and jumper.

Thousands of well-wishers gathered to catch a glimpse of the preparations for the big day.

Two days before the wedding, Queen Elizabeth hosted a white-tie ball at Windsor Castle for 2,000 guests.

At the event, Alexandra debuted a glittering tiara, gifted from her fiancé.

Following their engagement, Angus had commissioned Collingwood to create a parure comprising a tiara, necklace and two pairs of earrings, using diamond-encrusted flowers that Alexandra wore during her youth.

The day before their nuptials, Alexandra and Angus attended a formal rehearsal at the Abbey, along with family and friends.

New jewels please: How the royals have stolen the show at Wimbledon with their sparkler choices – from Princess Margaret’s diamond brooch to Kate’s gold charm earrings

It was June 1919, just seven months on from the end of the First World War.

And Queen Mary, attending what was the first Wimbledon Championships in four years, showed that things were on the up with her choice of jewels.

She arrived to present the trophies alongside her husband King George V wearing an enormous brooch pinned at her neckline and a large pendant that hung from a chain and rested on her chest.

The brooch was a large oval-shaped pink topaz, while the pendant was the same stone but cushion-shaped.

More than 30 years later, in 1950, Mary watched the tennis wearing pearl strands and a bejewelled floral brooch pinned to her dress at the throat – before presenting the Venus Rosewatcher Dish to women’s singles winner Louise Brough.

In 1957, her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II was wearing a three-strand pearl necklace given to her by her late father King George VI – along with matching earrings and a delicate diamond floral brooch – when she presented the salver to winner Alethea Gibson.

Like Queen Mary’s, those jewels were impressive – but the sight of the Queen wearing them did not match her sister Princess Margaret‘s outing in 1965, when she was spotted in the royal box with sunglasses on, cigarette in hand and a fabulous diamond brooch pinned to her shoulder.

When Princess Diana watched proceedings at Wimbledon in 1981 – just days before her wedding to Prince Charles – she showed off her diamond and sapphire engagement ring, along with a single strand pearl necklace, a Patek Philippe gold watch and a gold bracelet.

As for Kate Middleton, the current Princess of Wales, her jewels have wowed at Wimbledon too – such as the Brora gold charm earrings she displayed in 2016.

Queen Mary gave the pieces she wore in 1919 to her daughter-in-law Princess Alice and they now belong to the Duchess of Gloucester.

The large topaz is often swapped into the Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara, while the cushion-shaped pendant is in a bracelet.

In 1962, when she handed the men’s singles trophy to Rod Laver, Queen Elizabeth wore a decidedly more grand diamond brooch than her floral one from 1957, alongside her triple strand pearls.

Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Brooch was bequeathed to her following her grandmother’s death.

This spectacular piece was created and set entirely with diamonds by Garrard and bought by Queen Mary in 1932.

It became a favourite of her granddaughter, who normally wore it at gala functions alongside one of her many imposing tiaras and other formal jewels.

She also wore it at the wedding of Prince William and Kate in 2011.

Princess Margaret’s Carinthia Floral Spray Brooch – the one she wore at Wimbledon in 1965 – was presented to the Princess in 1955 to commemorate her launching of the Carinthia Steamship for the Cunard Line.

The main flower is set with a large diamond, with further diamonds set in the petals, leaves and stalks.

It is believed to date back to the 19th century, with the age clue being how the diamonds are set in silver on gold.

Nowadays, her daughter Lady Sarah Chatto wears it for formal occasions.

In 1970, Princess Margaret presented the trophy in the men’s singles wearing a large diamond Maltese cross pinned between the collars of her red coat, along with  several rings on three of her fingers.

The Princess had several cross brooches, one of which – a diamond George III Maltese cross – was sold in 2006 at Christie’s for £38,400.

The day before, when the sun had been shining for the ladies’ singles final, Margaret wore a pair of diamond cluster earrings to present the salver to Australian Margaret Court.

In 1977, when the Queen presented the winner’s trophy to women’s singles victor Virginia Wade, Her Late Majesty wore a pair of large pearl earrings.

On her pink and white checked coat, she wore the Duchess of Cambridge’s Brooch, which had belonged to her great-great-grandmother Princess Augusta.

It came via her grandmother Queen Mary, who wore it at both the Queen’s christening in 1926 and King Charles’ in 1948.

The brooch, according to Hugh Robert’s in his encyclopaedic tome The Queen’s Diamonds, was made by Garrard in the mid-19th century in two parts.

The first was with a large pearl surrounded by a narrow halo of pavé-set diamonds encircled with 14 round brilliant diamonds.

The second part was a detachable pendant of diamonds and a large baroque pearl.

For her last appearance at Wimbledon in 2010, the Queen wore not only her triple strand pearl necklaces and pearl earrings, but her pearl and diamond Trefoil Brooch – one of her favourites.

If you look very carefully, you might also spot her tiny diamond hat pin. We are unlikely to see one of those again at Centre Court!

The 1980s brought about a pared down look for the royals at Wimbledon.

On July 4th 1981, days before her wedding, Lady Diana Spencer was spotted sitting in the second row behind Princess Grace of Monaco at the men’s singles final – where Bjorn Borg took on John McEnroe.

Grace wore one of her trademark Cartier watches and a Cartier bangle, with gold knots in her ears.

Diana’s gold watch and bracelet were gifts from Prince Charles on her 20th birthday four days earlier.

The Wimbledon visit was Diana’s first year in the Royal Box.

A decade later, when nine-year-old Prince William accompanied her, Diana wore the same Patek Philippe watch along with a gold chain bracelet with a charm on it.

She also wore a pair of simple pearl and gold hoop earrings and a long gold chain.

At the 1994 championships, the Princess of Wales sat alongside Princess Michael of Kent to watch Pete Sampras win the men’s singles.

This time, Diana wore a bracelet and earring set of Tiffany & Co gold jewels, whilst Princess Michael’s earrings appeared to be Saturn-like discs with large pearls in the centre.

Princess Michael wore exactly the same earrings at Wimbledon last year – some 29 years later.

The younger generation of royal ladies have kept things more simple.

Since her very first appearance, months after her marriage to Prince William in 2011,- Kate has mostly worn a simple pair of earrings – pearls, gold hoops or a coloured gemstone selection from Kiki McDonough.

The Brora gold charm earrings were made of gold-plated brass hoops.

She twinned them with her Cartier watch and Garrard engagement ring.

Last year, her first as Princess of Wales, Kate added a gold and aquamarine bangle by Halcyon Days to her attire at the women’s final.
