King Charles Reportedly Fears “Legal Jeopardy” If He Makes Amends With Prince Harry

King Charles is apparently hesitant to make up with his son Prince Harry—and not just because of the ongoing royal family drama.

According to a new report from The Telegraph, Charles fears that there could be legal ramifications if he tries to reestablish his relationship with Harry given his long-running legal case against the U.K. government to reinstate his police security in the country.

“Here you have the infelicitous situation where the King’s son is suing the King’s ministers in the King’s courts. That is pulling the King in three directions,” a senior constitutional expert and advisor to the royal family told biographer Robert Hardman. “You also have the situation where the King’s son publishes accounts of private conversations, some of which have been, shall we say, wrong.”

The source is likely referring to reports that Harry “misremembered” some of the private conversations between family members that were mentioned in his 2023 tell-all memoir Spare.

“So imagine the situation if the prince were to talk to his father about his court case and then later to describe that conversation—or, worse, a conversation which was not entirely accurate,” Hardman continued in the report. “There would be serious legal jeopardy. Harry would only have to say, ‘My father said this’ and a court case could collapse.”

While Harry and Charles’s relationship remains rocky partially due to his security-related lawsuits, the Duke of Sussex’s wife, Meghan Markle, is reportedly urging her husband to “let go” of his court cases for a different reason.

A former employee of the couple’s Archewell Foundation previously told People that Markle “supports Harry 100 percent, but she wishes he could let go of these lawsuits, be happy and live in the moment.” The ex-staffer added, “She wants him to be free of all of this, but she also knows that because of everything he’s been through and his love for [her and their children], he can’t. She wants him to live in a world where he is not burdened by this.”

  • Why Kate Middleton Has Become “More Interested” in Faith Amid Cancer Battle

Why Kate Middleton Has Become “More Interested” in Faith Amid Cancer Battle

    Kate Middleton

    Photo: Getty

After a year that has seen Kate Middleton battle cancer and complete chemotherapy, the Princess of Wales has been looking towards faith in order to find inner peace.

Royal biographer Robert Hardman wrote in the updated version of his book, Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story, that Middleton has been turning to religion in recent months, with family friends backing up the claims.

“The Princess, on the other hand, is said to have become rather more interested in questions of faith as a result of her condition,” Hardman wrote in the book. Meanwhile, a church-going friend of the royal family told the biographer, “‘I would say that things are more hopeful there,’” which the writer noted as “further subtle indications of the different outlooks and generational styles of the King and his elder son.”

Middleton’s condition reportedly hasn’t inspired Prince William to seek comfort in religion, though. A source told Hardman that William is “a modern young man” that “gets embarrassed by certain aspects of ceremonial and religion.”

The biographer added that the “Prince’s position, say those in a position to know, is that, when the time comes, he will observe all his constitutional obligations to the Church of England. He will not, however, suddenly become a regular worshipper or feign an enthusiasm for something that he does not feel personally, however bleak the situation.”

Middleton revealed that she completed her chemotherapy treatment in September; the princess, though she has made a few public appearances over the past few months, noted in her cancer update video that “doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”

King Charles Has Financially Cut Off Prince Andrew—and It’s in the Millions

King Charles has reportedly severed financial ties with his younger brother, Prince Andrew. In an updated version of the book Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story, author Robert Hardman claims that the King instructed the Keeper of the Privy Purse to remove the Duke of York’s £1 million annual allowance and to stop paying for his private security, per an excerpt published by The Daily Mail.

A source added that Andrew is “no longer a financial burden on the King.”

    Prince Andrew, King Charles

Hardman writes that the prince must now pay for the protection of historical art and furniture from the Royal Collection and several antiques he owns after he reportedly did not accept a proposal from the King to relocate from the Royal Lodge in Windsor to the “considerably smaller property” of Frogmore Cottage (the residence is now vacant after Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were asked to move out in 2023).

“The Duke had certainly been faring better than expected since his brother succeeded to the throne,” Hardman wrote in his book. “He continued to enjoy access to Windsor facilities and a living allowance which, according to a well-sourced newspaper article, amounted to £1 million annually.”

He continued, “The cost of the private security contract to guard the property, which sits outside that Windsor cordon, was running at what one insider called ‘a substantial seven-figure sum annually.’ In August it was widely reported (and not disputed) that the King was no longer prepared to renew that contract beyond the autumn of 2024.”

King Charles, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Andrew

    Getty

Hardman added that if the Duke of York continued to reside at the Royal Lodge and rejected Charles’s offer to move to Frogmore Cottage, he was told that his brother “would feel no obligation to continue paying even his day-to-day living allowance.”

“In the late summer of this year, that patience ran out,” Hardman wrote. “The Duke informed the monarch that, regardless of any ultimatum, he was going to stay put at Royal Lodge anyway. At which point, the Keeper of the Privy Purse (the monarchy’s finance director) was instructed to sever his living allowance.”

Prince Andrew initially lost his publicly-funded police protection in 2022 after stepping away from royal duties. The move was prompted by a disastrous interview about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, which aired three years prior. At the time, the late Queen Elizabeth also stripped her son of his military titles and patronages.

Meghan Markle FURIOUS Over Doria Ragland SNUBBED from Moms of the Year List: Here’s Why!

Meghan Markle FURIOUS Over Doria Ragland SNUBBED from Moms of the Year List: Here’s Why!

Meghan Markle is reportedly enraged that her mother, Doria Ragland, was overlooked for the annual Moms of the Year list, a prestigious recognition celebrating exceptional mothers. Sources close to Meghan indicate that she feels Doria’s unwavering support and dedication as a mother should have earned her a place on this esteemed list, especially given the challenges they have faced as a family.

Doria has played a crucial role in Meghan’s life, providing emotional support throughout her journey in the royal family and beyond. From her difficult transition to royal life to navigating intense media scrutiny, Doria has always been a steadfast presence for Meghan and her family. Meghan’s frustration stems from a belief that Doria’s contributions to her upbringing and her resilience as a single mother deserve acknowledgment.

The snub has sparked discussions about the criteria used to determine who gets recognized on such lists. Many argue that the selection process often favors high-profile figures, overshadowing the hard work and sacrifices of mothers who may not be in the public eye but are equally deserving. Meghan’s anger reflects a broader concern among mothers everywhere about recognition and validation, especially for those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Moreover, the omission has raised questions about how society values different kinds of motherhood. Doria, who has faced her own share of challenges, including the complexities of her daughter’s royal life and the public’s relentless scrutiny, embodies the strength and resilience many mothers demonstrate daily. Meghan’s desire to advocate for her mother speaks volumes about the importance of family bonds and the role of mothers in shaping our lives.

The fallout from this incident has the potential to affect Meghan’s public image as she continues to advocate for various causes. Critics may view her anger as disproportionate, but supporters see it as a powerful statement about family loyalty and the importance of recognizing all mothers, regardless of their public status.

As Meghan continues to navigate her life in the spotlight, this incident serves as a reminder of the personal challenges she faces as a mother, daughter, and public figure. The story highlights the need for society to acknowledge the diverse experiences of motherhood, ensuring that all mothers, like Doria, receive the recognition they deserve.

  • Catherine’s Royal Surprise: William’s Cheeky Remark About Their Fourth Baby!

Catherine’s Royal Surprise: William’s Cheeky Remark About Their Fourth Baby!

During a recent visit to the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Prince William and Princess Catherine brought joy and warmth, especially when Prince William made a playful remark about the possibility of a fourth child. This light-hearted moment occurred after Catherine was photographed tenderly holding a newborn, sparking discussions and speculation among royal fans about whether the couple might expand their family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge already have three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—but William’s cheeky comment reignited curiosity.

Catherine’s visit to the hospital’s maternity ward was particularly moving. She was photographed cradling a six-week premature newborn, highlighting her genuine maternal instincts and compassion for families facing the challenges of premature births. The photos captured her smiling tenderly at the infant, which resonated with many who admire her deep empathy for families and children, a quality she has consistently shown throughout her royal duties.

For Catherine, this visit held extra significance as it marked her return to public life following her completion of preventive chemotherapy treatments. After announcing that she had successfully finished her treatments, she has been praised for her bravery and resilience. Her hospital visit not only underscored her dedication to royal duties but also demonstrated her connection to the people she meets, especially parents and families.

Catherine has long been committed to championing early childhood development, making this hospital visit particularly meaningful. Her interaction with new mothers and babies highlighted her ongoing focus on maternal and child health, blending her personal experience as a mother with her public role. These moments, where she interacts directly with families, emphasize her relatability and endear her further to the public.

While Prince William’s playful comment about a potential fourth child may have been in jest, it fueled speculation about the possibility. Royal insiders have noted that Catherine has expressed a desire for four children, though William has previously felt content with three. However, given Catherine’s love for children, there is always a possibility she could sway her husband.

This heartwarming hospital visit was a testament to Catherine’s growing role in the royal family, especially as she re-emerges into public life following months of medical treatment. Her decision to undergo preventive chemotherapy was met with widespread admiration, and now, with her treatments behind her, she is embracing her royal responsibilities with renewed energy. Her ability to connect personally with families and her compassionate presence continues to inspire those she meets, showcasing her strength both as a royal and as a mother.

As royal fans speculate about the couple’s future, Catherine’s focus remains on her vital work, particularly her advocacy for early childhood development, maternal health, and family well-being. Her presence at the hospital was a reminder of her ongoing commitment to these important issues, and her lasting impact on the people she meets ensures that her contributions will continue to inspire for years to come. Whether or not baby number four is on the horizon, Catherine’s role in the royal family and society is more essential than ever.

Victoria and David Beckham entertain close friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber aboard their £16million superyacht as the four friends venture out for a cruise in Miami Marina

There’s little point in spending £16million on an extravagant superyacht if you haven’t go some equally extravagant friends to share it with.

Fortunately for David and Victoria Beckham, close pals Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber were on hand to enjoy the very best their sprawling new boat has to offer.

The foursome made an appearance at Miami Marina on Monday, where the Beckham family’s pride and joy was moored, before venturing out for a cruise across the Atlantic.

Victoria, 50, caught the eye in a thigh-skimming black summer dress as she walked barefoot across the deck, a large leather tote bag slung across one shoulder.

With temperatures soaring across the Florida coast, the fashion designer stayed cool beneath a baseball cap ahead of their latest cruise.

Prince Harry is “trying to go at it alone” and “not trying to become a working royal” again, according to GB News Royal correspondent Cameron Walker. The Duke of Sussex quit his role as a working royal in January 2020 and moved to the US with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Walker was asked if the recent events involving senior Royals stepping back—three in total, one in the hospital and two regularly visiting for treatment—might have influenced Prince Harry to adopt a more responsible role.

Walker believes the situation isn’t related to temporary absences of Royal Family members like the Princess of Wales and Princess Anne. Instead, he thinks the individual is attempting to manage on his own and isn’t trying to reintegrate as a working member of the Royal Family.

“I think he is pretty happy in California from the messages we are getting from him, but clearly it is a huge frustration. I think perhaps for those Royal watchers and those Royal fans who think what could have been if he stayed as a working member and how much he could have perhaps helped,” he added.

Walker commented that, if Meghan had remained a working member of the Royal Family, especially when the monarchy appeared quite slimmed down, the situation would have been very different.

    Prince Harry ‘angry and frustrated’

“I think over the last few years, it’s been pretty clear that Prince Harry has been pretty angry and frustrated with the situation he’s ended up being in. There’s been long periods of absence, I think, from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,” he added.

Prince Harry’s passion and enjoyment, according to Walker, clearly lie in military engagements and promoting military causes, which is evident in his activities.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry plans a surprise visit to the UK to improve relations with the Royal Family after being ignored multiple times recently. He believes he must take the initiative to mend these relationships, revealed an insider.

Meghan and Kate were encouraged to dress like Diana ‘so some of her shine could rub off on them’, Sussex cheerleader claims in new book

The Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle have both been encouraged to dress like Diana so a bit of her ‘shine could rub off on them’, according to a new book.

Omid Scobie, who has long been closely associated with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, claims in his new book about the royal family that the pair were urged to essentially ‘cosplay’ as their husbands’ mother.

The Sussexes’ biographer writes that Kate, 41, and Meghan, 42, would sometimes be given outfits based on ideas which used photos of the late Princess of Wales for inspiration.

The 42-year-old quotes a royal source as saying that William, 41, and Harry, 39, were consulted anytime it was suggested that their wives be dressed in a style similar to their late mother.

It is one of a number of explosive claims made in the author’s new book Endgame, which is set to be published on Tuesday, with other allegations made inside including that Charles is a ‘pampered’ royal who has his shoelaces ironed for him.

The book also takes aim at Kate by claiming she is ‘too terrified to do anything more than grinning photo ops’, in a cruel swipe branded ‘horribly unjust’ by a friend of the Princess.

The latest claims to come out before the books official release were published in Page Six, which claims to have seen an extract that raises the spectre of Diana.

In it, Scobie writes that Kate and Meghan both wear jewellery that once belonged to their late mother-in-law, adding that a ‘huge amount of effort’ is put into ‘channelling her exact look’ and this is ‘sometimes beyond the pale’.

He adds: ‘During the past thirteen years, Diana cosplay has become a royal staple.’

The author continues: ‘Were there gentle pushes from others? At times, yes. It had been known for someone to go back and pull images of Diana at a certain place or time for ideas.

‘At the right moment this can be a sweet gesture, but there is also a slightly queasy feeling when you realise it’s often orchestrated within the same system that contributed to her living misery, and an institution that still wants some of Diana’s shine to rub off on them.’

Scobie co-authored Finding Freedom, a biography about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and has not held back in his criticism of the Royal Family in the build-up to the release of his new book.

In an interview published on Sunday to plug his latest work, he said: ‘The small achievements that we’ve seen from the Princess of Wales wouldn’t perhaps be noticed if it was from another member of the Royal Family, but with Kate it’s like ‘wow!’ ‘

His cruel swipe – described by a friend of the Princess as ‘horribly unjust’ – will infuriate the Royal Family.

Insiders said that in the past few years the Princess – intelligent, hard-working and passionate about the causes she promotes – has proved popular with the public.

But in a telling indication of the scornful tone of the new book, Scobie says that ‘we infantilise [Kate] massively so the bar is always lower’.

Today’s Sunday Times says that in the book the Princess is ‘portrayed as a woman terrified to do anything more than grinning photo ops’.

In the past, Scobie, 42, has been dubbed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ‘mouthpiece’ for his sympathetic portrayal of the couple.

His new book Endgame, a full-frontal assault on their perceived enemies, is expected to further widen the rift between Harry and his family.

Leaked extracts seen by The Mail on Sunday paint an unflattering picture of King Charles, with Scobie judging him ‘a flawed father’ and a backstabber – and accusing him of effectively sanctioning leaks about his sons to the press.

Predictably, William also comes under fire. The author says he is increasingly in cahoots with Palace courtiers who dream up dirty tricks.

By Scobie’s account the Prince of Wales uses his aides and their press contacts to paint his younger brother as emotionally fragile.

Endgame also suggests William and Kate found the merciless lampooning of the Sussexes on the American animated satire South Park earlier this year ‘very funny’. William, it adds, disliked Meghan from the start.

And the book says the King thought his son was a ‘fool’ for making a soul-baring Netflix documentary which claimed his father told ‘lies’ and his brother ‘screamed and shouted’ at the Sandringham Summit that resulted in the Sussexes leaving for the US.

Writing of what he sees as a power struggle between the favoured Prince and the ‘unpopular’ King, Scobie claims Charles is jealous of William’s position and knows that while his reign will be merely transitional, his eldest son will have time to breathe new life into the monarchy.

Scobie alleges that Palace corruption and toxic media spin has continued into the present and reflects on what he portrays as the selfish agendas of the King and his eldest son.

This is part of Endgame’s thesis that the Royal Family are ‘desperate’ and floundering after the death of the late Queen.

Other extracts suggest Palace aides expressed doubts about whether Charles would be a suitable King.

To survive, Scobie alleges that the Palace now uses ‘jingoism’ in the style of Donald Trump.
