Fearne Cotton breaks cover with kids after divorce bombshell and ditches wedding ring

Fearne Cotton was spotted out and about over the weekend after sharing the shock news that her marriage to musician Jesse Wood has come to an end after 10 years

Fearne Cotton has made a statement by ditching her wedding ring and has been spotted out for the first time since the shock news her marriage is over.

The 43-year-old television and radio presenter has been married to Jesse Wood, 48 – the son of Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood – since 2014 but their romance has now come to an end. Over the weekend, Fearne was spotted out on the streets of London with her wedding finger noticeably naked.

On Sunday, Fearne was spotted out and about as she went to collect a morning paper and some milk. While she kept her right hand covered and then exposed – with rings on all her fingers on display – it appeared she had ditched her wedding ring as she grabbed a newspaper.

While she had a dazzling band on her middle finger, her wedding finger was clearly bare as she walked around in a thick fluffy coat and wrapped up with a scarf. The star looked strained as she went about her morning just days after her shock announcement that her marriage had ended.

Fearne broke the news of her split last week, writing online: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

The formed CBBC star had married to guitarist Jesse in 2014 after three years of dating together. They went on to welcome two children; welcoming their son, Rex, 11, in 2013, and a daughter named Honey, nine, in 2015. Jesse already shares two children, son Arthur, 22, and daughter Lola, 19 with his ex Tilly Wood – and Fearne had been a proud step-mother to both of his older children, regularly mentioning them on social media.

In the wake of the shock split news, one of Fearne’s friends has reportedly said that a personal change in Fearne could have been the catalyst for the change in their marriage. As reported by the Mail, a source said: “They are a lovely couple. But Fearne has changed a lot since they got together. She was a kind of rock chick when they first met and now she has turned into a bit of a hippy dippy therapy type.”

It’s reported that Fearne immediately got on with Jesse’s family, including his dad, Rolling Stones star Ronnie and his younger sister Leah.

The source added that Fearne “wouldn’t stop smiling” after she met “handsome and kind” Jesse, who was the polar opposite of her former partners However, Fearne had recently opened up about the fact her sex life with her husband had faded away over the years.

She told Alan Carr in 2021 on his Life’s A Beach podcast, Fearned admitted: “Sexy time hasn’t happened for so long in terms of me going anywhere. I think for me and my husband, booking into the local Travelodge would make us feel sexy at the moment.”

She said explained: “We have had no time alone because of the ridiculous pandemic but before all this craziness, Paris was our go-to. Not every weekend, maybe once a year. But it felt well special because it’s so chic and beautiful. It just has an air of something gorgeous, doesn’t it? I love it there.”

Ruth Langsford appears to take savage swipe at Eamonn Holmes’ ‘engagement news’

Ruth Langsford’s ex Eamonn Holmes sparked rumours that he’d proposed to new girlfriend Katie Alexander in Paris, after she was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger

Ruth Langsford has appeared to take a swipe at her ex Eamonn Holmes’ apparent engagement news, as the star tends to her mother Joan after she was rushed to hospital following a fall.

The couple shocked fans when they announced they were ending their marriage after 14 years. After being together for more than two decades, GB News host Eamonn has now moved on with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, recently admitting he can’t wait for his “tough year” to end.

But as Eamonn travels with his girlfriend, Ruth has more pressing matters on her mind. After jetting out to Australia solo to support her friend and Loose Women co-star Jane Moore in I’m A Celebrity, after Ruth returned home, her beloved mum was taken to hospital with a broken bone.

Appearing to take a swipe at the news her ex is already engaged, Ruth shared a video on Instagram showing her mum peeling vegetables at the kitchen sink. She wrote: “No dancing in my kitchen peeling the veg for my darling Mum this Christmas….she’s had a fall and fractured her pelvis! She’s ok…ish, no surgery required thank goodness but she needs rest and time to heal now.

“She’s in hospital at the moment but I’m hoping to get her home soon. This time last year she fell and broke her hip but recovered well…she’s a very strong woman so I’m sure she’ll recover from this too.” In what seemed to be a dig at Eamonn’s recent news, she added: “Puts life and what’s important into perspective eh? Happy Christmas!”

The Mirror has contacted Ruth’s reps for comment.

This week, she also made a rare comment about her situation, when panellist Mariella Frostup was commenting on wedding etiquette. on Loose Women. Mariella said: “That’s a whole other subject isn’t it? How to divorce well,” to which Ruth quipped: “Oh tell me about it,” adding, “Anyway, funnily its now time for a break.”

Meanwhile, Ruth’s ex Eamonn and Katie, 42, took a Mediterranean cruise together in September, before being spotted in Paris recently. The trip garnered attention as Katie was seen wearing a sparkler on her engagement finger, prompting engagement rumours.

They were photographed outside the Louvre in Paris last week, with Eamonn in a mobility chair and Katie wearing a faux leather coat. The Sun reports that just the week before, Katie attended a West London carol concert with no ring in sight.

“Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her,” a source told the publication. “They’re already living together and he knows it feels right. They have a very strong connection and get on very well.”

They added that Katie has given Eamonn a “real lust for life” and that she looks after him. Former This Morning presenter Eamonn has suffered a series of health issues over recent years, following a hip replacement in 2016 that’s left him worried he’ll never walk unaided again.

The cast and crew of Strictly Come Dancing were in high spirits on Saturday night as comedian Chris McCausland was crowned the winner of the 2024 season after 13 exhausting weeks

The cast and crew of Strictly Come Dancing shared hugs, kisses and celebrations as the 2024 season came to an end with Chris McCausland scooping the glitterball trophy.

The 47-year-old comedian triumphed alongside professional dancer Dianne Buswell, 35 – as they saw off competition from JLS singer JB Gill and his dance partner Lauren Oakley, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, and actress Sarah Hadland and her dance partner Vito Coppola. On Saturday night, judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood watched on with pride as Chris and Dianne won the show.

Asked by show host Tess Daly how it felt to win, Chris tearfully declared: “It’s astonishing, I don’t know what to say. I thought I would go out in the first week or two. We have lasted and lasted and she has got so much out of me, she deserves this so much. This is for her and for everyone out there who thought… who got told they couldn’t do something or thought they couldn’t do it. With opportunity and support and determination anything can happen.”

Chiming in, a triumphant and tearful Dianne told him it was “for both of them”, screaming: “We did it!” And after the show finished airing, the cast and crew were all finally free to let down their hair. Taking to social media, head judge Shirley shared a treasure trove of behind-the-scenes images from the night.

Taking to social media, head judge Shirley shared a treasure trove of behind-the-scenes images from the night.

One snap showed her hugging Italian dance professional Vito who pulled her in close and smiled happily as they hugged to celebrate the end of the season. Another snap showed Shirl snuggled up with Vito’s partner Sarah on the floor of the Strictly dance set.

Shirley made sure to catch up with Aljaž and Tasha too – with snaps showing her looking straight into the eyes of the hunky Slovenian dancer as they put their hands on each other, and another snap showing her holding hands with Love Island babe Tash. Singer JB couldn’t resist a beaming smile as he pulled in Shirls for an affectionate cuddle – while Lauren looked thrilled to have a catch up with the judge in another behind-the-scenes snap. Lauren, of course, took over from Amy Dowden who was forced to drop out of the show after the first six weeks due to injury.

But Amy was back at the Strictly studios on Saturday night to watch the final – and shared a snap of herself with the winners at the show. She wrote: “My bestie @diannebuswell and my talented friend, who works so hard but is so loyal, caring, everything a girl needs! Every few days would always check in, always stayed true to herself. He wrote on Instagram: “Absolutely sobbing… Well done @chrismccauslandcomedy @diannebuswell im so proud of you! What you have achieved is nothing short of sensational. You deserve this sis!!! Also, for about 13 yrs ive heard people say and read articles saying @bbcstrictly is done. And yet, they delivered magic AGAIN. And those people were wrong AGAIN.”

Hilariously, his partner Stacey Dooley, who he won the show with in 2018, declared she was leaving Kevin in favour of Chris. She wrote: “Baby, IM LEAVING YOU FOR CHRIS. He’s knockout and I LOVE HIM.” Showering praise on Dianne, she added: “Lady Di, WADDA gal!” Her comment provoked a flood of crying-with-laughter emojis in response – although one fan wrote back to her to say: “get in the queue lol.”

Show judge Motsi also captured some charming moments after the final – snapping Dianne with members of her family as they celebrated their win. Motsi wrote alongside snaps on Instagram: “Wow, what an absolutely unforgettable night! Huge congratulations to @chrismccauslandcomedy , @diannebuswell , and the entire Strictly family on an incredible journey and an inspiring victory. She added: “A massive congratulations as well to the other incredible finalists @jbgill @tashaghouri @hadderstime who made this season one to remember. “This season has reminded us why Strictly is so special. In just 12 weeks, it has changed lives, brought people together, and inspired millions to chase their dreams. Chris and Dianne’s partnership was the perfect example of the magic that happens when passion, talent, and commitment come together.”

And she typed: “Here’s to 20 years of Strictly changing lives and creating moments we will never forget. To Chris, Dianne, and all the finalists—you’ve inspired us to dance like nobody’s watching. What a celebration of life, love, and the transformative power of dance. Thank you, Strictly, for making the world sparkle just a little bit brighter.”

  • Gino D’Acampo hit by bombshell new ‘crotch thrust’ claim as ITV accused of serious ‘cover up’

Gino D’Acampo hit by bombshell new ‘crotch thrust’ claim as ITV accused of serious ‘cover up’

Under fire TV chef Gino D’Acampo has been accused of more questionable behaviour as it is claimed he was ‘difficult’ to work with, ‘thrust his crotch’ and exposed himself at crew on an ITV show

TV chef Gino D’Acampo is facing fresh allegations of professional misconduct while working on an ITV show.

The under fire 48-year-old TV star has previously been accused of workplace inappropriateness – but has now been accused of being “difficult” to work with, thrusting his crotch at staff and exposing himself to crew too while working on ITV’s Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip. He made the show alongside fellow TV stars Gordon Ramsay, 58, and Fred Sirieix, 52 and Gino himself has strongly denied the allegations made against him.

Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip has been on the air since 2018 and follows the trio as they travel around the globe discovering new and familiar ways to cook. The series, which has aired four seasons so far, is made for ITV by Gordon’s production company Studio Ramsay – and he also serves as a producer.

But the show is now under a cloud of controversy as allegations have been made about the behaviour of Gino. It has been suggested he was “super difficult” to work with and that he made a number of inappropriate comments and actions behind-the-scenes of the show – leading to the star’s manager to allegedly be called into a meeting at ITV in 2021.

    Gino D'Acampo
ITV have rejected the accusation of a ‘cover up’

The Mail on Sunday has claimed that Gino provoked complaints on the series – which he quit abruptly in 2023 – by asking one producer about their sex life. It is also claimed he “thrust his crotch” at a female staff member and it is also alleged that he exposed himself to crew. Footage on the ITV series frequently featured Gino in a state of undress or naked while in front of cameras.

The Mail’s report claims there were “several complaints” made against the star – and that the complaints led “channel chiefs to summon D’Acampo’s then-manager to a meeting in 2021.” A source told the Sunday publication: “It looks more and more as if there has been a cover-up by ITV and the production company. ITV did step in and they had a meeting with Gino’s former manager where allegations of inappropriate behaviour were discussed.”

A further source is quoted as calling Gino: “Very touchy-feely, not in an appropriate way, and people did not like it. He’s rude and difficult.” The star himself has strongly refuted the claims in the paper, however.

He said in a statement that they published: “I have been completely shocked by, and deny utterly, these awful accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct against me, which are alleged to have taken place years ago during the shooting of Gordon, Gino & Fred. Let me be clear: This did not happen. I take such matters extremely seriously and in particular the suggestion that I have deliberately acted in this improper way against any female employees is deeply upsetting.”

When asked for comment of the claims by the Mail on Sunday and their suggestion of a cover up, ITV strongly rejected the accusations. A spokesperson told the Mirror: “The production companies who make shows for us have primary responsibility for the duty of care of everyone they work with, both on and off screen. We make clear our expectations when contracting with producers. This includes having appropriate controls in place to enable everyone who works on their shows to confidently and confidentially raise concerns.

“Where a complaint is made, or serious concerns raised, we expect it to be investigated and if it is found that something inappropriate has happened we expect that action will be taken. At ITV, we are completely committed to creating an environment where everyone is treated with respect and feels able to give of their best.

“Our promise to those we work with is that where a complaint is made, or serious concerns raised, we will always investigate and if we find that something inappropriate has happened, we will take action. We will continue to develop our efforts to give junior colleagues the confidence to speak up if they have something to raise.” The Mirror has contacted representatives of Gino and Studio Ramsay for further comment.

  • Strictly star to be announced as Gregg Wallace’s MasterChef replacement ‘in matter of days’

Strictly star to be announced as Gregg Wallace’s MasterChef replacement ‘in matter of days’

BBC bosses are set to announce the I’m A Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing star who will replace former presenter Gregg Wallace while he undergoes an investigation for misconduct

Strictly Come Dancing star Grace Dent will reportedly be announced as Gregg Wallace’s replacement on MasterChef in a matter of days.

The former presenter and judge stepped away from the BBC cookery show after a string of women came forward to make claims about him. As a result of the claims, Banijay UK, the show’s production company, revealed it would be launching an external review looking at historical allegations of misconduct.

Gregg has continued to deny any wrongdoing, with his lawyers insisting “it is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.” But even so, he is set to be replaced.

Food critic Grace, 51, has a plethora of experience under her belt, having written about food for years. She’s also appeared on MasterChef regularly as a critic, as well as had a foray into mainstream TV with stints on Strictly and I’m A Celebrity.

The BBC is set to announce Grace as Gregg’s replacement by the end of the week, The Sun reports, with Grace joining forces with his former co-host John Torode for a new era of MasterChef. A source told the paper: “Grace is the perfect choice to replace Gregg on Masterchef.

“She’s knowledgeable about food and opinionated, plus it’s great to have a woman as a judge on the show. It will shake things up and give the series the boost it needs after such an upsetting and uncertain time.”

The source added that Grace is a “fan favourite”, and her “sense of humour” and “no-nonsense” attitude had garnered respect in the “foodie world”. They explained that bosses at MasterChef believe her to be a “safe pair of hands” who can “steer” MasterChef towards “steadier waters” with John.

The Mirror has reached out to both Gregg and Grace’s reps for comment. A BBC spokesperson declined to comment.

Meanwhile, Gregg is said to have admitted that he’s “lost everything” after the saga that has unravelled over recent weeks. An unnamed source said the judge has “come to terms” with the fact that he is leaving MasterChef.

Speaking to The Sun, they said: “Gregg’s conceded he has lost everything. To put it bluntly, he’s told people, ‘I’m f***ed’. He came out swinging but he has quietly conceded that he knows his time on MasterChef is over and that he will be stepping aside. He has contested the sexual allegations and insisted any jokes he made were just jokes. He said he never meant to cause any offence. Gregg has been under a huge amount of pressure since the allegations came to light and tried his best to fight his corner.”

Gregg added fuel to the fire with a now-deleted Instagram video in which he blamed “middle-class women of a certain age” for complaining about him. He later apologised, writing: “The thought of anyone who has appeared on our show not having a brilliant experience is awful to hear, and I have found the recent press reports truly upsetting. But as I hope everyone appreciates there is an investigation underway, which I fully support, so I cannot make any further comment at this stage… I hope that you all understand and respect my silence on the matter moving forward.”

Neil the Baby is warned to behave by his mum Nessa, who says: “Pass me those nunchucks,” to Stacey, with Neil looking on mischievously. Gwen brings up ‘that’ fishing trip with Bryn, hilariously accusing them of “tearing the family apart” – fans will be on the edge of their seats hoping to finally find out what went on.

Dawn (Julia Davis) and Pete (Adrian Scarborough) are still bickering after all this time, with Dawn calling her husband a “despicable little rat” at one point. The families can then be seen having a drunken party in Pamela and Mick’s house. Nessa and Smithy are shown looking extremely close and flirtatious. Is this a sign that the pair actually got together? We’ll have to wait until Christmas Day to find out.

  • Strictly Come Dancing winner Chris McCausland’s ‘chaotic’ wife and doting daughter

Strictly Come Dancing winner Chris McCausland’s ‘chaotic’ wife and doting daughter

Chris McCausland has claimed the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball trophy after impressing viewers at home. Away from the dancefloor, the comedian is happily married to ‘polar opposite’ wife Patricia

Chris McCausland has been crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2024 alongside professional dance partner Dianne Buswell.

The blind comedian, 47 burst into tears as they were declared this year’s winners following a nail-biting final of the BBC competition. Their fellow finalists – Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, and Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec – rallied around them as a shocked Chris hugged Dianne tightly.

He will no doubt be continuing the celebrations away from the dancefloor with his family: his Brazilian wife Patricia and their 11-year-old daughter. The couple met in 2005 when CBeebies Me Too! star Chris was performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Patricia was filming a documentary there.

“We spent a lot of time together when the camera wasn’t running, socialising, going out and doing things, and we just had a lot of fun,” he previously explained. The star said his wife was “full of energy” and “took me out of my comfort zone”, while he made her laugh and was “almost this calming presence in her life that she was attracted to”.

But Chris affectionately says his wife Patricia, who is from Brazil, brings “chaos” into their relationship. “We were very opposite,” he told Gyles Brandreth on his podcast Rosebud.

“She comes across as very British but she’s Brazilian, she came across when she was five or six. Her life is chaos in the way that Brazilian people are chaos. It’s a natural attribute of their being that they are very proud of – they bring chaos to any room.

“The number of times she’ll be talking in Portuguese to her mum and then I’ll say to her: ‘Are you okay? What happened there?’ It sounds like they had the most horrific argument and they’re just talking about what they’re going to do that day.”

He has been married to Patricia for 12 years with an 11-year-old daughter called Sophie. The rarely seen youngster made an appearance on Comedians: Home Alone back in 2020, which showed her sitting with her dad at a kitchen table. Sophie is laughing at something Chris says, with the star looking relaxed in a blue t-shirt.

But the possibility of becoming a parent “terrified” him. “I was in such a dilemma about it because I knew I would regret not having kids but the thought of having kids terrified me,” he told Gyles Brandreth in an interview. “The idea of being a parent and all of the things I was going to be unable to do properly.

“My dad, all the things he used to do with me as a kid, taking me to different places, and the time he put in helping me build things. You go “how am I going to be able to do those things – I’m not going to be a proper dad, I’m going to be a half dad’.”

Back to Chris and Patricia, the star revealed they have very different ideas when it comes to heating their home. “As you can imagine, we are very different in terms of our culture and our biological response to temperature,” he joked. “While my wife still needs a winter coat in 22-degree sunshine, I find it hard to cope in temperatures above about 26.

“I believe there’s a high likelihood that one of us might be discovered lifeless in the hallway one day, reaching out towards the thermostat, while the other has fled the country.”

“This time last year she fell and broke her hip but recovered well…she’s a very strong woman so I’m sure she’ll recover from this too. Put’s life and what’s important into perspective eh? Happy Christmas!”

Fans, followers and celebrity friends were quick to rally around Ruth to share support. Lizzie Cundy was among the first to express her support, writing: “Sending you so much love . Hoping Mum will be back dancing very soon .Sending huge hugs my darling.”

While a fan typed: “Oh Ruth so sorry to hear this and really hope you get her back and dancing along to Anton in your kitchen again soon. Much love.” And another wrote: “Bless her heart xxx I’m sure you’ll be looking after her well. Wishing her a speedy recovery X Sending you a big cuddle too.”

Ruth’s unfortunate news comes amid reports that her estranged husband, Eamonn Holmes, may have become engaged to his much younger girlfriend. The 65-year-old GB News host quickly moved on from Ruth after their 14-year marriage collapsed earlier this year to begin dating relationship therapist Katie Alexander, 43.

Eamonn and Katie sparked speculation they could be preparing to swap vows after she was spotted with a huge ring on her finger in Paris. A source told The Sun: “Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. They’re already living together and he knows it feels right. They have a very strong connection and get on very well. She has given him a real lust for life and she looks after him.”

Eamonn and Katie began dating soon after he and Ruth announced their marriage was over in May this year – and the veteran TV host is said to be very happy with his new dating life. A source told the Daily Mail: “Katie certainly seems to be able to put a smile back on Eamonn’s face. They seem genuinely besotted with each other.”

  • Prince Andrew has the perfect reason to avoid Sandringham this Christmas – but won’t for one simple reason

Prince Andrew has the perfect reason to avoid Sandringham this Christmas – but won’t for one simple reason

King Charles is set to open the doors of Sandringham house for another year, continuing a tradition that has seen the Royal family spend Christmas at the Norfolk home for over 160 years. The festive gathering is no small affair, with the wider family, including Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, usually in attendance.

However, this Christmas day, Andrew has the ‘perfect excuse’ not to attend, according to former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond. With both Eugenie and Beatrice now”As families expand, life gets more complicated. And the Yorks now have two sons-in-law and four grandchildren to consider. So it is beginning to become untenable to have the whole extended royal family under one roof at Sandringham…especially with Camilla’s family to consider as well,” she explained.

Eugenie is mum to two sons, August and Ernest, with her husband Jack Brooksbank, whom she wed in 2018. Meanwhile, Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting their second child together. They already share a daughter, Sienna, born in 2021, and Edoardo has an eight year old son, Christopher Woolf, from a previous relationship.

Jennie confirmed that Andrew will definitely receive an invite, as usual. She said: “However, it seems that Andrew remains keen on the traditional royal Christmas and, even after all the controversy over Royal Lodge, he and Sarah will almost certainly be invited to share the King and Queen’s celebrations. They don’t, however, usually stay in the main house but at Wood Farm nearby, where they can do their own family thing if they want. Charles is not a vindictive man…far from it…and whatever has gone on between the brothers, I think he will always extend an invitation for Andrew and his family to share big family occasions.”

Jennie also speculated that things would be easier if Andrew and Sarah do their own celebrations. “But Andrew’s own growing family will give him and Sarah the perfect reason to avoid Sandringham and surround themselves with their daughters and little one. Beatrice and Eugenie are very protective of both their parents”.
