After his DC exit, Henry Cavill has been rumored to be entering the MCU for quite a while. While he has directly addressed how he has not yet received any calls from Marvel or Kevin Feige, it hasn’t stopped people from fan-casting him for characters that they think the actor is perfect for. A consistent one among fans is their desire to see Cavill play Sentry.

This was a highly rumored casting speculation for a while as it provides exciting possibilities to the MCU and for the actor himself. The popular graphic artist Bosslogic who is known for his creative artwork, put out one of his works on X, which shows the potential look of Henry Cavil as Sentry.

Sentry!

Last piece for 2022, hope to make way more Sentry pieces in the new year, different takes, obviously this one is a little over exaggerated 😂🙏 pic.twitter.com/UovOjHW8NP

The drawing is immaculate and intense and is truly what fans would have wanted. Cavill can bring in the intensity and bravado required for such a role and to this day fans still dream about this exciting casting happening just like how it happened for John Krasinski as Reed Richards.

Henry Cavill’s Highlander Reboot Will be the Start of Something Big

Henry Cavill has been announced to star in the reboot of the 1986 action classic Highlander starring Christopher Lambert. The film will be directed by Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick films, In an interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Stahelski teased that the film will be the start of a bigger franchise and exciting new possibilities. He said,

“I think we have some very good elements now. The trick is when you have the tagline ‘there can only be one’, you can’t just kill everybody the first time. I’ll say it for you first, our story engages a lot of the same characters and stuff like that. But we’ve also brought in elements of all the TV shows, and we’re trying to do a bit of a prequel, a setup to The Gathering, so we have room to grow the property.”

Filming of the highly anticipated film is expected to start next year. The chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Joe Drake recently revealed that the film will have a 2026 theatrical release (according to IGN). Fans are stocked and hyped to see Cavill in an intense and brutal avatar again in the film, much like The Witcher.
