Josie Gibson looked happier than ever as she welcomed 2026 at a lively beach party in Thailand, confidently showing off her dramatic five-stone weight loss. The This Morning star, 40, was flooded with praise after sharing a joyful video of herself dancing barefoot on the sand, arms in the air, soaking up the tropical atmosphere.
Dressed in a cropped green halterneck top with matching trousers, Josie’s slim figure was on full display as she smiled from ear to ear. With her hair styled in relaxed beach waves and flip-flops completing the look, she appeared completely at ease as she rang in the New Year abroad. Captioning the clip, she wrote: “The new year warm up, Happy new year lovers.”
Fans were quick to fill the comments with messages of admiration and support. One follower told her she looked “AMAZING and very slim,” while another gushed that she was “the most gorgeous & loveliest lady on TV” and wished her luck for the year ahead.
The Bristol-born presenter has previously been open about how emotionally drained she felt before stepping away from This Morning over the festive period. Reflecting on her time in Thailand, Josie admitted the trip had helped her reset, saying she arrived feeling “emotionally burnt out” but found the energy of the country “so good for the soul” and made her feel ready to face anything.
Josie has also been refreshingly honest about her weight-loss journey, stressing that it did not involve medication or surgery. She explained that she simply moved more, ate less, and educated herself about what she was putting into her body. Becoming a mum to her son Reggie, seven, also helped her shift her priorities, admitting there were moments when she realised life was about more than obsessing over her weight.
Now, as she steps into 2026, Josie appears not only slimmer but calmer, more confident, and deeply grateful for life — a transformation that goes far beyond the numbers on the scale.
