Jannik Sinner’s model girlfriend was reportedly part of Michael Schumacher’s inner circle before she began dating the tennis ace. Sinner has been competing in the ATP Finals over the past week, where he will take on rival Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday afternoon.

Supporting him from the stands throughout the season-ending tournament in Turin has been his model girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic. The Danish beauty, who has collaborated with luxury brands like Prada and Armani, has been romantically linked with the 24-year-old since earlier this year.

The Italian sensation publicly confirmed their relationship for the first time at the Vienna Open in October, describing her as “my girlfriend” after sealing his triumph. Since then, the pair have been photographed together in Monaco.

But Hasanovic, whose parents hail from Bosnia, is familiar with the glamorous principality, having previously spent time there with her former partner, racing driver Mick Schumacher.

Before her romance with Sinner, the 25-year-old was in a well-documented relationship with the ex-Haas and Mercedes Formula One driver, with Laila and Mick having been dating since as far back as 2022.

The couple were spotted together in the paddock on a number of occasions, but their romance appeared to have ended when both were seen on a celebrity dating app back in spring.

Before she parted ways with Mick, Bild reported that Hasanovic was among the select few allowed into the Schumacher family’s inner circle.

It was claimed that the F1 legend’s relatives were “smitten” with the model, and she was the only one of Mick’s partners granted access to visit his father, Michael.

Following the iconic F1 driver’s devastating skiing accident in 2013, only a small number of individuals beyond the immediate family are allowed to see him, with the family keeping his condition as a fiercely protected secret.

The only others reported to enjoy such a privilege are former Ferrari chief Jean Todt, ex-technical director Ross Brawn, former Ferrari drivers Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa, and his long-time manager Sabine Kehm.

Born in 2000 and hailing from Copenhagen, Hasanovic completed her studies at Svendborg Gymnasium School, though she also launched her modelling career at an early age, going on to represent Denmark in the Miss Universe competition in 2019.

Her relationship with Sinner comes after his own break up with fellow tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya. The pair have been seen enjoying a trip to a gelato parlour as well as casual walks together in public recently.
