King Charles ‘appalled’ by Donald Trump’s remarks as monarch ‘concerned’ for UK state visit!

Donald Trump’s second state visit is scheduled for September 17-19

King Charles is reportedly growing increasingly uneasy ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump’s second state visit to the United Kingdom, scheduled for September 17–19.

According to palace insiders, the monarch is said to be “appalled” by Trump’s recent comments about immigration and “very concerned” about the risk of a political outburst during official events.

The concern comes after Trump’s private visit to Scotland last week, where he made remarks about illegal immigration.

In a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump warned that those arriving on small boats were “bad people”. He later declared to reporters that illegal migration represented a “horrible invasion” that was “killing Europe”.

King Charles ‘appalled’ and ‘concerned’ over Donald Trump’s comments

A source close to the king told The Daily Beast: “Charles has spent his entire life promoting tolerance and compassion. He will be appalled by what Trump said on Friday, which seems to be entirely driven by his domestic agenda, and will be very concerned about the possibility of a repeat of Trump’s outburst in September.”

He will be appalled by what Trump said on Friday.

Trump is expected to deliver a speech at the state banquet hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla during the three-day visit.

However, royal aides reportedly fear the U.S. President might go off-script, ignore protocol, or even deliver politically charged commentary during media interactions.

The source added: “If Trump starts sounding off about the evils of immigration to the cameras while the king is standing next to him, the king would find that hard to take.”

Palace officials and civil servants are said to be on high alert, with fears that an impromptu Trump rant could place King Charles in a diplomatically difficult position.

Donald Trump’s UK state visit

In addition to weighing in on immigration, Trump also addressed his alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the entire story a “hoax”.

“It’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion,” Trump told reporters in Scotland earlier this week. “Those files were run by the worst scum on Earth. They were run by my enemy. If there was anything in there, they would’ve used them for the election.”

However, Trump’s comments about King Charles and Queen Camilla were notably warm.

Speaking during a joint appearance with PM Starmer at his Turnberry golf course, Trump described the monarch and his wife as “great people”.

“It’s going to be great. And being with Charles and Camilla and everybody I’ve got to know. Great people. They’re really great people,” Trump said. “In that sense, I think the UK’s really lucky. You could have people that weren’t great people. You could have people that weren’t.”

Starmer echoed the sentiment, adding: “We’re very lucky.”

Trump’s September trip will mark the first time a U.S. president has received two UK state visits.

This unprecedented move was made possible by the non-consecutive nature of his presidencies.

Royal Insider has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.
