Piers Morgan takes swipe at Meghan Markle as his poses with ‘favourite Duchess’

Piers Morgan was all smiles as he posed next to a member of the Royal Family while making a subtle dig towards Meghan Markle.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter has been a long-time critic of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On Saturday, he took to Instagram to post a selfie with the Duchess of York posing next to him, with both of them beaming.

In a second snap, it can be seen the two were seated next to each other for a meal at a restaurant in Charlbury.

Mr Morgan recently criticised Harry and Meghan when, after the Princess of Wales’s latest update that she had completed her preventative chemotherapy treatment earlier this month, Netflix posted a trailer about their new polo show on the platform, which is due to be released in December.

“Of course, it may just have been a stupendous coincidence but if you believe that, then I’ve got some very dodgy old Ford Cortinas to sell you.”

The new show, POLO, is created by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Productions.

There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest the timing of the Netflix trailer release was planned around the Princess of Wales’s health update.
