Olivia Attwood issued Bradley Dack wedding ultimatum and demanded he propose

Olivia Attwood, 32, offered Bradley Dack a ‘little threat’ back in 2019 and told him she would ‘explore other options’ if the footballer didn’t put a ring on it

Olivia Attwood warned Bradley Dack that he had less than a year to propose to her or she was bailing on their relationship.

The TOWIE legend, 32, issued her footballer boyfriend a stern wedding ultimatum and demanded he got down on one knee or she was off. Olivia was a guest panelist on Loose Women and the subject of parental interference in their kids’ love lives was discussed on the ITV show.

They married in June last year but admitted she piled on the pressure for him to pop the question. Speaking to Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson and Brenda Edwards on the daytime show, the reality star says he was taking too long so moved to speed the process up a little bit.

Explaining to the panel, she said: “I don’t need the parents’ help, I do enough interference myself. I told Brad to propose to me so my mum didn’t have to.” Ruth asked: “Did you give him an ultimatum?” Olivia admitted: “I did, actually. I wanted the commitment – and the ring! We’d been through quite a few hurdles, so it was time.

“I said ‘you’ve got a year or I may have to explore other options’. It worked.” Brenda chipped in: “So, you blackmailed him!” She responded: “It was a loose threat! I would have liked it if my parents had intervened. I would have wanted someone to scare him into it that wasn’t me. It worked! For now.”

They finally got engaged in 2019, when the Blackburn Rovers midfielder popped the question in Dubai. The wedding was the first ever to be held at the exclusive Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, and the ceremony was decorated with more than 25,000 flowers. Around 80 guests were in attendance at the bash, along with Amber Davies and Fran Parman.

The wedding was also filmed for Olivia and Bradley’s reality TV series Olivia Marries Her Match. Appearing on Loose Women last year, Olivia discussed her nuptials and her reality series. During the chat, the former Love Island star was asked about her decision not to have any bridesmaids on the day.

However, she did have sister Georgia and best friend Charlotte, who performed maid of honour duties together. Judi Love, asked: “The one thing I was a little bit shocked of was no bridesmaids! How did that come about?”, to which Linda Robson added: “Haven’t you got lots of girlfriends that you wanted to be your bridesmaid?”

A couple of brides I spoke to, who have been married previously, I said: ‘If you could change one thing, what would it be’ and they said: ‘Bridesmaids are hard work’. One, it’s really political, isn’t it? So when me and Brad first started looking at it, we were going: ‘Right, we want even numbers that balances aesthetically [for pictures of their bridesmaids and groomsmen]!’

“We were looking at it and I was like, ‘if I get everyone in, who would be expecting to be one [a bridesmaid], it’s just going to be so many’.” Olivia then hilariously joked: “I could buy ten dresses or buy myself a piece of jewellery!”
