One viewer commented: “#TheMaskedSinger Kingfisher is 100% Harry Hill and Jonathan Ross knows it is.” One fan said: “Kingfisher is Harry Hill. The minute he spoke on the opening show, I’m sure I got him.”

Meanwhile another added: “#Kingfisher is 100% Harry Hill. They are trying to throw us off the scent with the VTs but it’s definitely him #TheMaskedSinger.”

Harry Hill, who is a former doctor, gave a health update and explained how he injured himself falling off an ironing board
The Masked Singer fans think Kingfisher comedy and TV icon Harry Hill
It comes as viewers previously speculated that Paul Whitehouse might be behind the mask of Kingfisher. During a recent appearance on ITV Lorraine show, the TV host couldn’t resist confronting the rumours head-on with Paul.

At the time, Paul said: “If I say ‘yes’, you won’t believe me and if I say ‘no’ you won’t believe me so..”

Paul later revealed who he suspected had been behind the mask, suggesting they were trying to “cleverly” frame him.

He informed the host: “Whoever has done it, Harry Hill, has very cleverly thrown the focus to me.” Lorraine’s interest was piqued as she replied: “Ohh you think it might be Harry Hill?”

Recognising his potential faux pas, Paul started to retract: “No, I mean there’s rumours flying around.”

The Masked Singer airs on ITV and ITVX
