Prince Harry says he was subjected to a physical attack by Prince William in his new memoir after he clashed with his elder brother over comments on Meghan Markle’s behaviour
Charlene White has compared the Royal Family to the closest equivalent across the pond: the famous Kardashian clan.
The Loose Women host helmed the panel discussion on the Royals on Thursday afternoon’s instalment of the show, with panellists Linda Robson, Jane Moore and Denise Welch.
Their debate came amid shocking new allegations in a leaked excerpt from memoir Spare, in which Prince Harry sensationally claimed that his brother Prince William physically attacked him after the brothers clashed over Meghan Markle.
The panel discussed the bombshell accusation that Prince William lunged at Prince Harry, ripping his necklace and knocking him to the floor where he smashed a dog’s bowl that he landed on.
In the ITV studio, Charlene compared the alleged altercation to their own children’s antics, as she said: “We’ve all got kids. We all know how kids can fight.”

She then added: “To me, it seemed a little bit like – for use of a family we hear so much about also – the Kardashians.
“It felt a little bit like watching the Kardashians. My friends used the phrase, ‘they are just a little bit of a hot mess.’”
Linda agreed, replying: “I think all brothers and sisters fight and my kids used to fight. We all do. It’s just what kids do.”
Charlene agreed, but noted that none of them condoned violence before the debate became more heated later in the programme.

The panel saw Denise double down on her support of the Sussex couple amid push-back from fellow presenter Jane.
Jane described it as ‘hurtful’ to read such accusations had been made in ‘public’, before Denise cut in to rebuff her.
She said: “Why shouldn’t Harry say his peace, Jane? I think he’s had to move away from a family – they’ve done it behind his back.”
Yet Jane then cut in to insist Harry was only making the allegations public in order ‘to make money’.

The conversation upped in volume as Denise came back from across the panel saying: “The fact is the Royal Family make quite a bit of money themselves.
“They have been leaking stories. We know they have. As soon as Meghan was seen as the People’s Princess, that was game over, because William and Kate have to remain in those positions.
“I think do what you like. Tell your story because I think it’s absolutely the worst thing that’s happened to them.”
The Loose Women studio then erupted in applause and whoops as a tired out Denise picked up a piece of paper to fan herself with.
