It seems one of the NFL’s most famous power couples will need plenty of seats available should they decide to tie the knot.
Pop sensation Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce first went public in September 2023.
Now with Taylor a regular fixture at Chiefs games, cheering on Travis from the stands, it has brought a whole new level of attention as well as an entirely new fanbase to the lives of all those involved in the team.
And it seems Travis’ teammates are well aware of the amount of eyes paying very close attention to them this season.
“It’s interesting,” linebacker Drue Tranquill told Zach Gelb on his show.
“You don’t really feel it and hear too much of it inside the locker room.
“But it’ll be moments like at practice when our DJ turns on a Taylor Swift song and everybody kind of jokes about it…
“I hear about it more when I go home than I do actually in the building.”
Tranquill went on to add that it has “been fun” thus far, saying that their young romance is “something to celebrate, something fun and we enjoy poking fun at Travis.
“But seems like maybe they’re in love, man.”
The veteran believes that Travis and Taylor have “really, really something going,” and that the team “enjoy having her at our games.
“It brings a lot of energy and a lot of fun to our fans. And so that’s good for business, good for football, and good for the NFL.”
As for a potential wedding invitation heading Tranquill’s way in the future, he responded, “We’ll see man, we’ll see.
“I think there’s going to be a lot of people that want to go to that [wedding].”
But Chiefs players won’t have to wait that long to party with Travis and Taylor.
A source told The U.S. Sun that Taylor has ordered $70,000 worth of high-end champagne for after Kansas City’s upcoming AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 28.
Her order included ten bottles of Louis Roederer Cristal, worth $2,800 each.
There are also another 30 bottles en route of Dom Perignon Rose 2006 – which goes for $1,400 apiece.
Taylor also recently showed her affection for Travis by gifting him and his teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, custom Louis Vuitton leather varsity jackets and bags.
These gifts were to mark the duo breaking the NFL’s postseason record for QB/receiver touchdown connections during their AFC Divisional Round win against the Buffalo Bills.
