“That’s a scary thing to say to somebody like Dwayne”: Ryan Reynolds Knew He Might Get into Serious Trouble For His Comments on Dwayne Johnson

Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson are among some of the renowned actors in Hollywood. While Reynolds is popular for his comic roles, Johnson, who transitioned his career from wrestling to acting, is known for starring in action movies. Both of them are also good friends and have shared the screen several times for brief appearances. The duo reunited for the 2021 action-comedy, Red Notice, starring alongside Gal Gadot. The movie received a very positive response from the audience.

The Rock has opened up about his friendship with the Deadpool star, calling themselves an old couple who bickers and fights all the time. And it was visible during their appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, during which Reynolds had some choice of words to say to his friend and co-star.

Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson starred in the 2021 action-comedy Red Notice alongside Gal Gadot. The movie follows a chase between an Interpol agent and the world’s most wanted art thief. While promoting the 2021 movie, its cast joined Jonathan Ross on his chat show.

And their conversation soon took an unexpected turn as the Just Friends star shared his honest opinion about his co-star’s head. “I try to never say anything cruel to Dwayne that I know can’t get away with,” he said before adding, “But I did say the back of his head did look not too dissimilar to a p*nis.”

He continued talking about as he called The Rock’s head “beautiful” and “gorgeous,” leading the talk show host to ask Johnson to turn around so that he could also take a look. Reynolds, however, knew that it was not something he should have said to The Rock.

While Ryan Reynolds had some interesting words to say about Johnson’s head, the Black Adam star also took an opportunity to roast him with an Instagram post. He shared an image of a Netflix billboard saying, “Ryan Reynolds uses his mom’s Netflix account.”

He tagged his Red Notice co-star in the post with a caption saying, “One last heist for the road. Beat that, @vancityreynolds.” He further shared some great words for Reynolds’ mother but had exactly the contrary to say about the actor.

The Adam Project star quipped in the comment section as he mentioned that his mother uses his “OnlyFans account.” Reynolds and Johnson are set to return in the Red Notice sequels, as the streaming giant Netflix is planning two follow-up movies for the 2021 spy thriller comedy.
