Stephen Curry always tries to have a great time at the All Star Game, he has been the lead protagonist of these games for over a decade. the most recent one wasn’t as successful as he may have expected but the West didn’t seem that involved in the competing aspect of this game. In the end, the East won with Damian Lillard taking the MVP Award. But Stephen Curry still had the time of his life, as this picked up sound byte from him proves. It was a short sentence but it perfectly describes how relaxed he was and how much he liked hooping with some of the best players in the world. At a certain moment of the game, Stephen Curry wasn’t able to reach Donovan Mitchell during an East ball possession but he saw two players who were better placed than he was. Those two players were Anthony Davis and Devin Booker, Stephen Curry yelled at both of them and asked them to do some defensive coverage. At that moment, Stephen Curry said: “Trap his ass!” Which is unusual for Stephen Curry to say during any regular season game. But the All Star Game is different, this is a perfect place for all these players to blow out some steam. Curry couldn’t help but say that regardless of which mic picked it up.

Stephen Curry was also fresh out of a historic three-point contest he won against the New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu. The WNBA star made 26 points in her attempt while Stephen Curry left the winning shot be his last one. It was a riveting contest that made everybody present feel like they were witnessing something special and historic. Curry was a classy winner while Sabrina was a good sport about not getting the victory despite issuing the challenge to Steph. It was an all-around great weekend for the Golden State Warriors star.
