Ed Kelce, patriarch of the famed Kelce family, has revealed that it’s the youngest members who hold the most sway.

In an interview with Australia’s Today Show, Ed shared insights into the family dynamics, highlighting the influence of his granddaughters, particularly over their father, Jason Kelce, and Uncle Travis Kelce, both NFL stars.

“It all revolves around the girls-the granddaughters-as you can imagine, who have, not surprisingly, both their grandfathers and their father wrapped around their fingers,” Ed said, emphasizing the central role played by Jason’s three daughters, Bennett, Elliotte, and Wyatt.

Not even Travis escapes the “tyranny” of his nieces. “And they have their Uncle Trav wrapped around their fingers when he shows up,” Ed explained.

Ed further elaborated on the contrasting lifestyles of his two sons, with Jason’s focus on family life with his wife and children, and Travis enjoying a more single lifestyle, often hosting friends and maintaining a lively social circle.

Despite their success in the NFL, Ed credits his sons’ grounded nature to their tight-knit circle of friends and family. “The boys have been very fortunate,” he assured.

He explained, “They have a very tight circle of friends that they grew up with that they see a lot, people that have been important in their life that have helped shape them into the young men they are. They never forget that.”
