The Ben Wheatley-directed adventure saga is set around the amazing Mariana Trench underwater landscape, where ancient creatures rule. The plot isn’t particularly deep, but fans of Jason Statham will enjoy the chance to witness him defy logic and battle dinosaurs on screen.

In this Ben Wheatley-directed film, Jason Statham plays the character of a deep-sea rescue expert. It is a heart-pounding underwater adventure where Jonas Taylor, played by Jason Statham, goes on a dangerous expedition into the ocean’s unexplored depths.

However, their mission becomes dangerous when they confront heavily armed mercenaries. So, they are left with the dual challenge of facing these enemies as well as enormous marine creatures like megalodons.
Before seeing Meg 2, you might have imagined Basilosaurus from Jurassic Park as the most terrifying predator, but you will definitely change your views after seeing the latest Megalodon in this American-Chinese co-production.
