Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in Nigeria for a three-day visit. The country’s Chief of Defence Staff extended an invitation to the Sussexes, as reported by Hindustan Times. The tour began with a visit to Lightway Academy in Abuja. The duo shared some rare insights into their family life, touching on their kids,  Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie. Meghan also had a chat with students about mental health and later joined a panel at a Women in Leadership Nigeria event. So, where did she go wrong?

Meghan Markle: The Royal Biographer Slams Meghan

Biographer Angela Levin expressed discontent over Meghan Markle and Harry’s royal visit to the African country. She straight-up called it ‘phony and awful’ in a chat with GB News. Moreover, Levin was taken aback after seeing the Duke and Duchess’s first few appearances. The biographer even bashed Meghan’s choice of attire for the Lightway Academy College visit.

She added Meghan Markle shouldn’t have gone to the religious school in a dress with no support whatsoever. Furthermore, Angela also accused the Duchess of being ‘awful’ and ‘impolite’ during an interaction on the Nigeria tour. According to the biographer, Markle seemed more interested in finding someone to take flattering photos of her and Harry. She appeared less engaged with the teachers and students.

While Levin slammed Meghan Markle, her supporters rallied behind her, applauding her for her appearance and engagement. But Levin’s critique didn’t spare the Duke of Sussex either. She questioned Harry’s decision not to meet his dad during his UK visit. Additionally, the royal expert disputed Harry’s claim that Charles turned down a meeting request. Levin suggested that Buckingham Palace had no record of such a request.

According to Levin, King Charles had a tight schedule after his first garden party in 2024, including meetings with the Prime Minister. The author argued that it wouldn’t be productive if Harry approached his father aggressively, given Charles’s health and busy schedule. Anyway, Meghan never seems to step out of the scandalous spotlight. Will she ever learn to read the room? Until then, keep returning to TV Season & Spoilers for more royal updates!
