Love Island star Maya Jama turns up the temperature with a revealing red latex outfit which fans have branded her sexiest yet.

The 29-year-old opted for the steamy number as she returned to the Villa in a preview for Thursday’s episode. The get-up, which showcased her curves and featured a split up the side, had straps which resembled flames. Fans on X, formerly Twitter, went into meltdown. “Maya, this is the coolest dress I have ever seen!! and it screams Casa Amor #LoveIsland,” said one.

The episode saw Ayo kiss Jessica after claiming that Mimii, who he has been with from Day 8, wasn’t right for him. Blade was also left trying to woo Grace. But all the talk was about Maya’s dress instead, who recently spoke about how she had recoupled with her celebrity boyfriend Stormzy.

And Stormzy himself is a fan of Maya’s dresses. Having rekindled their flame last year after splitting in 2019, in February, Maya previously shared Stormzy’s compliments on her outfit during an episode for being “sexy and classy simultaneously”.

“He’s cute with his words of encouragement,” she said once. Maya admits she does not always inform him how she looks before filming, but notes he was particularly enthusiastic as he was joining her during the last series. “He came out during South Africa so he was so excited to see everything,” she says. “I’ve been watching since series one – he got brought along halfway through.”

Maya has enjoyed a rapid rise to fame, alongside her boyfriend, since the pair met when she interviewed him for MTV in 2014. She went on to present on Radio 1, host Prime TV and earlier this month was overheard asking King Charles about Love Island when they met at an event. “He enjoyed it,” she laughs. “He had a laugh, he was chuckling.” She has also ascended to style royalty, hosting the British Fashion Awards and covering Vogue magazine but she still buys her pants in Primark. Maya says: “If you want pants, socks, whatever, I’ll go on the high street definitely. I don’t feel like you should be ever too good to shop anywhere.”

When she hosted the BRIT Awards in February, Maya had achieved all the goals she wrote on a bucket list as a teenager. Maya may consider becoming a producer, which she notes “is not my job title… yet”.

“I need new goals. I feel so fortunate one of my childhood dreams happened before 30.” Maya hits the milestone in August, which she only fears due to the expectations on the partygoer to throw epic celebrations. “It’s pressure,” she admits. “When you’ve been doing parties every year for your birthday it kind of feels like when you’re 30 it needs to be the biggest ever” .
