Dwayne Johnson Breaks Character to Praise Cody Rhodes’ Mentor as He Heals Former Boxer

Almost everyone will agree with the fact that Dwayne Johnson is doing a phenomenal job as a heel in Cody Rhodes’ story. He has proven himself to be heartless, ruthless, and someone tough to overcome. But fans should not forget the fact that he is still the good old Johnson that everyone grew fond of. The Hollywood star has consistently shown his penchant for appreciating the sincere efforts of other people no matter what.

Something similar happened recently when the 51-year-old star broke kayfabe as he commended a former WWE star and Cody Rhodes’ mentor for doing something that changed a former boxer’s life.

In a clip posted by former WWE star Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), the WWE legend could be seen helping former boxer Butterbean lose some weight so that he can undergo surgery for a very critical condition. Page used his DDP Yoga method to help Butterbean lose more than 150 pounds. As the emotional video started doing rounds over the internet, the Brahma Bull decided to commend Page for his efforts. In the comment section, Johnson wrote, “Incredible work my brother. Respect to all of you!

Along with that, he also mentioned that he had left a voice note for him. Those who followed WWE during the Attitude Era remember DDP suffering a back injury during the peak of his career.

Following that, he tried yoga as a way to rehabilitate from his L4-L5 injury. However, traditional yoga was not his thing. He added rehabilitator techniques and calisthenics to yoga, and thus, DDP Yoga was born in 2005

While Johnson showed his soft side, his heel side made a statement that shocked the world and Cody Rhodes down to the core.
