According to a source for Us Weekly on Tuesday, the relationship between the brothers remains super strained because of — you guessed it — jealousy! And we’re not talking about Harry feeling left out as the “spare” this time! The insider dished:

“William is a bit envious of [his brother’s] freedoms.”

It’s always greener on the other side, isn’t it?

Royal historian Ed Owens doubled down on this being a big reason for the rift, telling the outlet that the heir to the throne certainly “feels envious” of his young brother — but not just because he was able to — well, more like, was forced to — walk away from the royal family and build a life of his own. The bad blood actually stems from… the Invictus Games! Really??

Owens explained that “Harry has done remarkable things” with the sporting event — beating the odds, or at least, William’s expectations! Remember, the Invictus Games used to be a family affair since it was created when Harry was still linked to The Royal Foundation, a charity the brothers used to run. Harry took full control of the Games when he left his role as a working royal. So, the fact he’s made it so successful since then has to add to William’s frustration! The royal biographer detailed:

“[The Invictus Games] now has international presences, and I think that international stage is something both brothers are clearly vying for. That international limelight really sets Harry’s work apart from other members of the royal family.”

That’s just what British journalist Robert Jobson previously claimed, too! So, with all this jealousy, Willy must hate that Harry’s returning to London to celebrate the Games’ 10th anniversary next month, right? It’s kinda like he’s rubbing salt in the wound with that destination, y’know? But here’s the really interesting thing! The Duke of Sussex supposedly doesn’t care about the competitive vibes anymore. In fact, he invited his whole family to the milestone event next month, according to a second source! Wow!

We already know King Charles III is likely going to snub Meghan Markle‘s husband because he’s apparently going to be very busy. But will William and Princess Catherine accept the offer?? So far, it’s unclear. It would be HUGE if they did — but considering the Princess of Wales is still laying low amid her cancer treatment, she has an easy out. We wouldn’t count on a reunion at this point, but you never know!

Either way, it doesn’t sound like the 39-year-old Archewell founder will mind if his family ditches the event. The source insisted he’s not caught up in competing with his brother anymore, sharing:

“Harry is very content [and] doesn’t have any of those [old] feelings now. He feels that his life has purpose and meaning and that he can bring a lot of good to the world.”

It’s great what he’s doing, but let’s be real. The only reason he’s not the one super jealous right now is because he’s got the upper hand in this situation. We’re sure there will come a day when the roles are reversed again. These brothers just can’t help it!

Meghan’s relationships with members of the royal family were pulled into focus in 2020 after the duchess stepped down as a working member of the monarchy alongside Harry and moved to the U.S.

Meghan joined the royal family upon her marriage to Harry at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, Berkshire, in England, on May 19, 2018. The couple met in 2016 and became engaged a year later. In 2024, they will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, and together they have two children: Prince Archie, 4; and Princess Lilibet, 2.

Little is known about Meghan’s relationship with her father-in-law, the king. In her 2022 Netflix docuseries, she described Charles as “charming,” but she did not attend his May 2023 coronation in London with husband Harry; it happened to take place on her son’s fourth birthday.

The decision for Charles to walk Meghan down the aisle was an unusual one and received widespread coverage at the time. It followed a highly publicized set of events, which saw Meghan’s own father, Thomas Markle, miss the high-profile event following a paparazzi collaboration and medical emergency.

The father of the bride traditionally walks her down the aisle at her wedding. In Markle’s absence, there was speculation that Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, would step in to fulfill the role.

However, on the day, Charles met his future daughter-in-law halfway through her walk at the chapel and guided her to Harry.

The viral clip has received in excess of 11,200 likes and over 140 comments, many of which have praised the royals and their interaction.

It was in the 2022 Harry & Meghan docuseries that Meghan revealed she personally asked Charles to walk her down the aisle at her wedding.

“Harry’s dad is very charming,” she told viewers, before going on to note her own father’s absence.

“I said to him, like, ‘I’ve lost my dad in this.’ So, him as my father-in-law was really important to me,” Meghan said.

“So, I asked him to walk me down the aisle, and he said yes,” she added. “The whole thing was surreal.”

Charles has made few public comments about Harry and Meghan since their split from the monarchy. However, in his accession speech, given in the days after he became king, he made a touching reference to the couple.

“I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas,” Charles said.

Her dad, a clergyman, reportedly died in May 1993, and she has previously admitted she didn’t think he liked her as he had little to do with his two children.

Whoopi, whose real name is Caryn Johnson, was raised by her single mom Emma, and had an older brother, Clyde.

Writing in her new book, she said, “My mother didn’t talk about the marriage ending because she stayed married to him until the day he passed, nor do I think she ever thought of it as a failure.

“It turns out that my dad was gay. Which couldn’t have been easy either.”

She later asked her mother how she knew he was gay, but she wouldn’t reveal too much information and had no interest in dating after they split as he was “the love of her life.”

Whoopi has also sworn off romance after three past marriages and has been plagued by rumors regarding her own sexuality.

During an interview with Raven-Symone on “The Best Podcast Ever”, Whoopi poured cold water on the whispers, after her former co-host said, “You give me lesbian vibes!”

DIFFICULT CHILDHOOD

Whoopi responded, “Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around, I am not a lesbian. But I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television.”

Meanwhile, she also explained in her new book that her mother worked tirelessly as a nurse to keep a roof over their heads without government assistance or child support.

Her dad was reportedly a clergyman, and was raised in a strict Southern Baptist household, while she mentions in her book he had many gigs including being a diamond merchant and a postal worker.

Whoopi said her mom tried to get her dad to pay child support, but helping Black women in the projects in New York in the 1960s was “not high on the state court’s priority list” and she couldn’t afford to hire a lawyer.

Whoopi revealed her dad and grandfather did step in to help the family somewhat when her mother had a mental breakdown and ended up hospitalized for two years.

The U.S. Sun previously revealed how the star saved her from suicide as she tried to put her head in their oven, with Whoopi grabbing her waist and pulling her out before getting help.

She explained her mother didn’t recognize her children or know anything about her life after having electric shock therapy but managed to get better.

The mom-of-two, who worked as a nurse before falling ill, even went on to get her Master’s Degree and raise Whoppi’s young daughter, Alex, while she was away working.

Whoopi lost her mother in August 2010 following a stroke, and her brother passed five years later after suffering a brain aneurysm.

She opened up about her father on The View while discussing Kelly Rowland reuniting with her dad after 30 years.

“We know lots of people who can’t be what we would like them to be, what they might like to be,” she said. “But we can respect them for who they are.”

Whoopi recalled how she came home early from elementary school one day and found her mom looking “disheveled” and barefoot wearing a slip dress under a black trench coat.

“I watched as she went over to the oven, turned it on, and put her head in there,” she recalled of the disturbing moment,” she wrote.

BATTLE WITH DRUGS

The Oscar-nominated star also admitted to hitting rock bottom in the 1980s when recreational drug use in Hollywood was at a high.

She classed herself as a “very high-functioning addict” who would still show up on set and do her job for about a year until she realized she was getting “sloppy” at work.

One “slap-in-the-face” moment took place while she was staying at a luxury hotel in Manhattan for her birthday when somebody had given her an ounce of cocaine.

Britney Spears sparked ‘mental health crisis’ concerns at the Chateau Marmont in the early hours of Thursday morning as shock photos showed the barefoot star wrapped in a blanket being escorted out to emergency services.

In scenes reminiscent of her 2008 meltdown, Spears, 42, who has sparked increasing concern with her recent behavior and is claimed to be ‘completely dysfunctional’, was seen clad in her underwear, clutching a pillow and appearing distressed as she left the hotel.

Spears had abrasions on her knees, appeared to be topless and looked disheveled as she held the pillow to her chest, with her security surrounding her and felon ex Paul Richard Soliz.

It has been claimed the pair got into a huge fight and that a  woman matching Britney’s description was ‘harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests.’

A man was seen wheeling a stretcher with the star’s belongings on it – with a fire truck also seen at the Hollywood hotel.

The star deleted this post and replaced it with an almost identical statement

She wrote: ‘Just to let people know … the news is fake !!!

The star concluded the statement by trying to explain why she felt compelled to explain herself while declaring the new major US city she will be moving to.

Britney continued: ‘I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period so l’m b****y … s***!!! I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally.

‘They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston !!! Peace [peace hand sign emoji]’

DailyMail.com has contacted Spears’ representatives for comment.

LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey told DailyMail.com: ‘Emergency services received a call at 12.42am with reports of an adult female injured.

‘At 1am an ambulance arrived on the premises. I can confirm no-one was transported. Services left the scene at 1.17am. The police department were not called.’

TMZ reports Spears arrived at the hotel late Wednesday night – with police called after a ‘disturbance’ with a woman matching the singer’s description reportedly ‘harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests.’

Attending officers found no signs of trouble and left.

The pair then returned to their room around 11pm where they ‘partied and drank.’ They are said to have got into a ‘huge physical altercation in which Spears ‘may have hurt her leg.’

It was claimed Spears was ‘screaming and out of control in the hallway of her suite’ with and ‘several guests’ thinking she was having a mental breakdown, so paramedics were called.

Spears did not get into an ambulance and is said to have left with her security and without Soliz.

Earlier this year in February, the Toxic hitmaker shut down rumors that she was dating Paul in an Instagram video.

Alongside a reel of the star showing off her dance skills, Spears penned that she is a ‘hopeless romantic understanding that being single is awesome.’ At the time, an insider had informed Us Weekly that, ‘Britney and Paul are definitely together’ while adding, ‘He’s still in the picture.’

And last year in September, another insider told DailyMail.com that Britney and Paul aren’t dating, but revealed they had a ‘short fling.’

‘Britney hooked up with him twice and, at the time, [she] did not know about his criminal past. She no longer has any communication with him.’

This happened when she refused to relinquish custody of her sons to ex Kevin Federline and she was committed to the psych ward of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

It began as a temporary arrangement, but became permanent by the end of the year.

In the years that followed, Britney was deemed well enough to work in what the former estate conservator called a ‘hybrid business model’ in court papers, but not well enough to control her personal life.

The estate controlled who her friends were, where she could go and ‘logged her every purchase down to a drink from Starbucks,’ according to The New York Times.

In recent days Spears has finally settled her divorce from third husband Hesam ‘Sam’ Asghari after a nine-month legal separation and only 14 months of marriage.

The Grammy winner and the 30-year-old Special Ops: Lioness actor are waiting for the judge to sign off on the completed divorce paperwork filed by her powerful attorneys Laura Wasser and Mathew Rosengart.

Sam and his lawyer Neal Hirsh decided against contesting the prenuptial agreement, which protects Britney’s reported $60M fortune.

In text added towards the bottom of the reel, she also wrote, ‘I like talking like my assistant…she’s British!!!’

Britney’s since-deleted Instagram story comes shortly after Jamie uploaded a cryptic post after the pop singer shockingly settled her $2 million legal battle with father, Jamie Spears, earlier last week.

The settlement causes Britney to pay her dad’s legal bills which amount to $2 million while she receives nothing, leaving the star reportedly ‘furious,’ according to TMZ.

With nothing awarded to the Baby One More Time artist, Britney is said to be in a bigger financial hole than before the trial.

After hitting out against her family, Britney briefly deleted her Instagram account as insiders claimed she is ‘completely dysfunctional.’

TMZ reported that friends of the singer have branded her ‘completely dysfunctional’ and claim she is in a worse mental and financial situation than she was when she was under conservatorship.

The insiders have claimed that Britney is suffering from ‘shocking and radical mood swings’ and has become increasingly isolated.

One source has told the site that those who have remained close to the star believe she was doing better while under conservatorship, which ended in 2021.

‘She had lots of freedom in the conservatorship and the restrictions were there to protect her. She’s not protected anymore,’ claimed the insider.

The star is also allegedly in danger of blowing her $60million fortune after splashing out over a million dollars for each of her monthly trips to French Polynesia and Hawaii, photos of which she shared on social media.

She is reportedly spending thousands on private jets and five star resorts for the regular holidays, with an insider claiming: ‘She cannot afford this… she is in danger of going broke.’

In regards to the shock settlement with father Jamie, a source told The Sun that settling was to ‘protect her from reliving the traumas of her conservatorship.’ 

‘Her legal team decided the focus should be on ­protecting her from ­reliving the traumas of her ­conservatorship,’ the insider claimed to the outlet.

Cardi B keeps close to husband Offset at Knicks game after split

Cardi B and Offset continue to fuel rumors they’ve reconciled after splitting last year.

The “WAP” rapper and the Migos member looked cozier than ever Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden, where they watched the Philadelphia 76ers defeat the New York Knicks 112-106 in Game 5 of the NBA playoffs.

Meghan Markle broke down in tears numerous times in the latest trailer for her £88 million Netflix documentary which was released today.

In a one-minute clip that will horrify courtiers, Harry airs the incendiary claim that insiders ‘leaked and planted’ stories about them, describes royal life as a ‘dirty game’ and – after footage appears showing his mother, Princess Diana – talks about ‘the pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution’.

In one section, the Duchess of Sussex can be seen in floods of tears, wiping her face with her hands while Prince Harry looks on.

In another moment, apparently filmed at the couple’s $14 million mansion, the royal mother-of-two can be seen looking up at the camera with tears in her eyes.

It’s for the first time footage of the Duchess crying has been released from the documentary ahead of it’s airing this week.

The first trailer saw Meghan in tears on a number of occasions.

Harry and Meghan dropped the second trailer for their bombshell Netflix documentary containing yet more barbs against the Royal Family, with the duke ominously threatening to ‘reveal the truth’ about their experience.

In one section, one person describes the couple’s experience as ‘about hatred, about race’ as a scene flashes up of an exasperated Harry, 38, holding a hand to his face as Meghan – who is seen heavily pregnant with their daughter, Lili – passes behind him.

The behind-the-scenes Netflix docuseries will debut on December 8, Netflix confirmed today.

In today’s teaser clip, Harry narrates: ‘It’s really hard to look back on it now and go ‘what on earth happened?’

‘There’s a hierarchy of the family, you know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories. It’s a dirty game.

‘The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. I was terrified, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.

‘No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.’

Billed as a Netflix global event, the streaming giant announced Volume I would be released on December 8 while Volume II will air on December 15.

The Royal Family have tried to put a brave face in recent days by insisting they would not be ‘blown off course’ by the documentary.

Contrary to claims that there are behind-the-scenes ‘crisis talks’ and plans to ‘hit back’ at yet another barrage of claims and accusations, senior royals plan a very much ‘business as usual approach’.

‘We are not going to be blown off course by squalls from across the Atlantic,’ a royal source told the Daily Mail witheringly.

The Mail on Sunday reported yesterday how the King and Queen Consort are ‘wearied’ by the constant attacks from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Buckingham Palace sources said that there was ‘mounting frustration and exhaustion’ at the barrage of complaints that Harry and Meghan relentlessly and publicly make about their alleged treatment by members of the Royal Family.

The late Queen famously made clear that ‘recollections may vary’ over many of the couple’s claims – and that view has not changed.

Throughout the royal households there is a sense of ‘here we go again’ over the series.

But there is hope among the family that the ‘Sussex squall’ will blow itself out by the time the series ends and Harry’s upcoming memoir is published in January.

‘It’s likely to be a difficult few weeks but really after that what on earth more can they have to say?’ another insider asked.

‘It’s all going to start to become very “end of the pier” show if they are not careful, hawking around the same complaints on talk shows and documentaries.

‘Surely a time will come when even they realise they have got to get on with their lives? The rest of the family certainly want to.’

Indeed the King and the Queen Consort have a busy week ahead with several significant and long-planned engagements. Tomorrow the monarch is in Luton meeting community leaders and voluntary organisations who promote inter-faith harmony, something he has been promoting for 50-plus years.

At Luton Town Hall, he will be reunited with Festus Akinbusoye, Bedfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, who was previously supported by his Prince’s Trust.

His Majesty will also visit the newly built Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara, speaking to volunteers and learning about their programmes for the community.

On Wednesday, the Queen Consort will invite seriously and terminally ill children from Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity to decorate the Clarence House Christmas tree.

She holds the magical event each year, personally serving up sausages and mash for the youngsters and this year has arranged a surprise visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer. ‘Their Majesties are getting on with what’s important,’ a source added.

Royal sources told The Mail on Sunday that Charles and Camilla were ‘not worried but wearied’ by the continued outbursts from the Duke and Duchess.

Since quitting as working royals and moving to California, they have criticised the Royal Family in interviews, including a high-profile show with Oprah Winfrey, and recorded the Netflix series.

It seems that history is repeating itself as Prince Harry is set to return to the UK next week for a special Invictus Games event at St Paul’s Cathedral whilst Meghan Markle will stay at home with their children in the US.

This mirrors last year when Harry attended his father’s Coronation, and his wife remained at home celebrating their son’s fourth birthday.

It’s said that it was ‘a blow’ Charles when he found out about the developing relationship between his son and Meghan Markle back before they were married and had two kids together.

According tothe Mirror, the then Prince of Wales was “crushed” when he was told about the romance and that it was going to be made public just 20 minutes after he’d found out, two royal authors have said.

Charles had been preparing to meet the King of Bahrain and had been on something of a delicate tour in the Persian Gulf sovereign state in November 2016 when the news was delivered.

Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said his team had spent months organising the tour, hoping it would be “covered significantly” by the media.

But he was then “crushed” when his tour was overshadowed by Harry and Meghan’s relationship.

The authors claim that Harry gave his dad just 20 minutes’ notice before releasing a statement that confirmed his relationship with Meghan – and then he had a go at the media to boot.

In Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, they say: “It was a critical moment that had been in the works for months.

“A statement from Kensington Palace condemning the Press and, in the same breath, confirming Harry’s new girlfriend would all but eliminate coverage of Prince Charles’s tour of the Gulf.”

The Mirror also reports the writers said: “The team at Clarence House, which had spent months putting together Prince Charles’ tour in the hopes that it would be covered significantly, was crushed.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are visiting Nigeria in May for talks on the Invictus Games. During their stay, Harry and Meghan are expected to take part in cultural activities and meet with service members and their families. The visit will take place after Harry’s return trip to the UK, which Meghan isn’t believed to be going on.

The trip to Nigeria will be their first visit to the African country as a couple and it’s a place that holds a special place in Meghan’s heart. In an episode of her podcast Archetypes, the former actress revealed she has Nigerian ancestry.

During an interview with Nigerian-American actor Ziwe, Meghan revealed she is “43 per cent Nigerian” and said she discovered her ancestry after having her genealogy done “a couple of years ago.” At the time, Meghan said she didn’t know which tribe her ancestors were from but planned to “dig deeper into all of this”.

Ziwe said the news was “huge for our community,” adding: “No, honestly, you do look like a Nigerian, you look like my aunt Uzo. So this is great.”

Meghan and Harry’s trip to Nigeria comes after it was announced Harry will be returning to London in the coming weeks to attend a celebration for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex will be at the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.
