Loose Women star Judi Love in ‘unbearable’ 20 year health battle as she details pain

Loose Women’s Judi Love has opened up about her health battle of almost two decades, admitting the ‘unbearable’ pain that comes with it both physically and mentally.

Loose Women’s Judi Love has opened up about her health battle of almost two decades

Judi Love has opened up about her struggles with endometriosis, something she was diagnosed with over 20 years ago. In an exclusive interview, the Loose Women star said the pain which comes with the condition has been ‘unbearable’ at times, both physically and mentally.

Explaining that getting a diagnosis wasn’t an easy feat, Judi shared: “It took me about five years to get a diagnosis, and the average time is even longer – as long as nine years. For women, our pain is often not always taken seriously, so symptoms are just put down to having ‘bad periods’. At the time, it wasn’t spoken about much, so when I received my diagnosis I honestly didn’t really know what it was, but the effect on my life, my physical and mental health, was sometimes unbearable.”

She continued: “I think it’s so important that people are starting to have more open conversations about endometriosis and the impact it can have, as well as pushing for diagnoses, because not having that pain recognised or acknowledged is really difficult.”

Endometriosis is caused when tissue similar to that found in the lining of the womb grows in other places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes, and it can have a significant impact on a person’s life.

Passionate about tackling stigmas when it comes to health, Judi is using the new year as a chance to prioritise her wellbeing. She explained: “I like to be active, I really enjoy boxing – it makes me feel good. One of my big mottos is ‘health is wealth’ – so that’s what I keep in mind when it comes to goals. It’s really worth investing the time in being active. It’s an ongoing thing for me which I work around my schedule, so my plan is to continue those habits for the rest of 2025.”

Judi says since she hit her forties, she’s also been taking more care with her eating and drinking habits – being more mindful. And on that note, the mum-of-two has kicked off this year by joining forces with Pink Lady apples for a new campaign. She explains, “I’m so excited to be working with Pink Lady apples – the campaign is all about fear of judgement at lunchtime. According to new research, 81% of office workers admit they wouldn’t eat the same foods at work that they enjoy at home, because they fear being judged by coworkers. The message of the campaign is ‘you do you’ – which is how I try to live my life!”

Loose Women’s Charlene White shares shocking LA firefighters detail as blazes rage

Charlene White claims some of the hero fire-fighters battling the blazes in California are earning a tiny amount of money as they continue to put their lives as risk

Heartbroken Loose Women star Charlene White has taken to social media to share her shock at the pay of some fire-fighters in LA.

As death toll from the California wildfires rises to 24, she shared a video of the ‘incarcerated fire fighters battling the LA fires’ where the brave servicemen are risking their lives. Charlene has been doing some research and was stunned to see many of those on the frontline are actually prisoners.

Posting on Instagram, the ITV star wrote: “Most enlightening fact I’ve learned this morning. Each year up to 30% of California wildfire-fighters are prisoners. Almost a thousand of whom have been fighting the current devastating fires… earning as little as £22.10 for a 24-hour shift.”

Many celebrities homes have been burned downed in the LA wildfires with Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins some of those to have suffered. Mark Hamill, the 73-year-old Star Wars, icon confirmed last week that he has evacuated his Malibu home with his wife and their dog.

Hollywood icon Mel Gibson’s house burned down while he was blasting the California governor. But when Mel, 69, was recording the podcast, the fires tore down his mansion in Malibu. Shocking photographs show the site reduced to rubble, scenes said to have “devastated” the actor and filmmaker.

Speaking amid the aftermath, Gibson told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas Reports: “When I got home, sure enough, it wasn’t there. I had never seen such a complete burn. It is obviously devastating, it’s emotional. I lived there for about 15 years so it was home to me.

“There was nothing left but a chimney and a few roof tiles, and you dare not walk around for the nails and the whole deal. The vehicles were gone, everything.”

Mel, who won two Oscars for his work on Braveheart in 1996, had ripped into the California governor on Rogan’s podcast saying he felt Newsom did not follow through on things he said he would do to help prevent wildfires when he first took office six years ago.

“In 2019, I think Newsom said, ‘I’m going to take care of the forest and maintain the forest’ and do all that kind of stuff. I think all our tax dollars probably went for Gavin’s hair gel. It’s sad. The place is just on fire,” Gibson, known for his action hero roles, said during his chat with 57-year-old comedian Joe Rogan.

“Unfortunately, we’re going right back into red flag conditions with some potential disastrous wind conditions between now and Wednesday, with the peak winds expected to be on Tuesday,” Pasadena fire chief Chad Augustin told the BBC. “While we’re making some progress, the end is not even close yet,” he said.

Loose Women in chaos as Linda Robson ‘walks off’ set saying ‘I ain’t talking to you’

Linda Robson fled her seat abruptly following a heated debate with her co-stars on Loose Women

Linda Robson dramatically declared to her fellow panellists: “That’s it, I’m gone, I ain’t talking to you no more, I’m out of here,” before making a swift exit from the ITV show on Monday.

The 66-year-old was part of Monday’s (January 13) line-up alongside host Jane Moore, Brenda Edwards, and Janet Street-Porter when the chat took a bitter turn during a discussion on: Is it ever ok to throw a strop?

Janet confessed to frequently losing her cool, recalling an instance during her MasterChef stint when she finished second – though her tantrum never made it to air.

On the other hand, Brenda tried to argue that throwing a strop was merely “showing passion”, at which point Linda chimed in with a reminder of Brenda’s huff at the National TV Awards.

Linda recounted how Brenda had splashed out on a bottle of Malbec wine at the awards ceremony but was fuming after the Birds Of A Feather star began to share out a small amount with everyone present, leading to a spat between the co-stars, reports the Liverpool Echo.

“She said, ‘That bottle cost me £85’,” Linda fumed, complaining about Brenda’s reluctance to share. Janet jumped to Brenda’s defence, stating, “Don’t feel sorry for her. “

The broadcast journalist pointed out that Brenda’s hard-earned money had bought the pricey wine before bluntly telling Linda, “That’s why I don’t socialise with you.”

“The one and only time I will ever want to go out with you,” retorted the renowned sitcom actress. Jane tried to defuse the situation, joking that their squabble would likely make headlines, much to the amusement of all.

The star of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was setting the scene for what was to come on the show when Linda playfully decided to walk off.

Slamming her hands down, she exclaimed: “That’s it, I’m gone, I ain’t talking to you no more, I’m out of here,” in a stunt reminiscent of Good Morning Britain’s very own Piers Morgan, as she theatrically stormed off set.

As Linda strutted off stage, the production team swiftly switched to the ad breaks. When the programme resumed, any mention of the comical walkout had disappeared, with the Birds Of A Feather icon settled back comfortably in her chair.

Brenda Edwards in tears on Loose Women after co-star’s comment catches her off-guard

Brenda Edwards was unable to hold it together when Birds Of A Feather star Linda Robson made a crude comment about her hair loss on Monday’s episode of ITV’s Loose Women

Brenda Edwards was left speechless on Loose Women when her co-star Linda Robson made a shockingly crude comment that stopped the show in its tracks.

The panel, which included I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! alum Jane Moore, Janet Street-Porter, Brenda, and Linda, were in the midst of a discussion about hair loss when the incident occurred.

During the episode broadcast on Monday (January 13), Janet disgusted viewers by admitting she only washed her hair once during “three weeks over Christmas “, attributing it to a health issue that caused her hair to thin, leading her to be more careful with how often she washes it.

Brenda chimed in, relating to the topic with her own experience of needing to take extra care of her Afro-hair, particularly after suffering from alopecia due to stress following her grandmother’s death.

Liverpool Echo reports the tone of the conversation took a different turn when Linda shared her thoughts on hair loss, saying: “It all depends if I’m going somewhere then I wash my hair and do it.”

Brenda was in tears over the comment

Linda, known for her role in Birds Of A Feather, then stunned everyone by adding: “I’ve got really dry hair now, really dry scalp now,” before dropping the bombshell: “I’ve got really dry everywhere now actually.”

Brenda was visibly shocked, covering her head with her hands in disbelief, while Janet looked unimpressed, shaking her head alongside host Jane. There was a bout of raucous applause and laughter when Janet then confronted Linda following her risque remark.

    Jane was not impressed

She questioned: “Why do you feel the need? ” As the two clashed, Jane had to cut in, stressing: “That is a whole other topic so I’ve got to move it on now.”

Amidst this chaotic scene, it seemed Jane could no longer steer the show as she futilely tried to transition with: “From washing hair, to washing machines,” while the noise escalated in the studio.

    Linda Robson on Loose Women
Linda left the entire panel a-gasp with her remark

Brenda was practically incapacitated with laughter, hunched over the desk, inadvertently disrupting Jane’s efforts to maintain order with her bouts of mirth. Even as Jane pressed on, declaring: “Brenda’s completely gone, so I’m going to come to you first Linda.”

Her chuckles morphed into tearful giggles. Reaching for a tissue to dab away tears proved fruitless for the TV personality, who was utterly stricken with hilarity, leaving her in uncontrollable laughter as the show concluded.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm.

The Loose Women and QVC star has shared an ‘upside down salad’ recipe with her fans, which she eats most days in a bid to stay healthy

Ruth Langsford has unveiled the ‘upside down salad’ recipe that she enjoys at work as a healthier alternative to ‘processed food’. The 64-year-old Loose Women panellist claimed her salad is far from being just ‘leaves’ and only requires nine main ingredients.

“So, basically, I put everything in layers in one of these [glass tubs], which means that when I tip it out the lettuce is on the bottom and everything else that I want is in layers. Anyway, you get the gist.

“So, basically I put kitchen roll in the bottom [of the tub] because then any kind of juices from the tomatoes and cucumber soak a bit into that, so the whole salad doesn’t get soggy. So, that’s the gist and let me show you how I do it.”

Ruth first kicked off her recipe by chopping up some small tomatoes, in shades of red, orange and green, followed by some red onion. Although she confessed the tomatoes were ‘going a bit soft’, this didn’t seem to phase her as she mixed it together.

“Tuna on top of that,” Ruth continued. “I like tuna in olive oil, maybe a bit more calorific, but I don’t care because I love the taste. One hard boiled egg, you can put them the other way around, so that when you tip it up the yolks’ pointing up at you. It doesn’t really matter.

“Then some avocado, this is a bit brown, because I actually chopped it last night to use for something else and forgot it. It’s been in the fridge, it’s a bit brown, but it’s fine because it will be covered in salad dressing.

“Black olives, if you like them, I love them. There’s the cucumber – I scraped the seeds out because they are very wet and watery and will make that [salad] go soggy. Cucumber in, and then all I’ve got to do now is put the lettuce on.”

Bringing her food tub up to the camera, Ruth showed off the different layers of her salad. As the final cherry on top, she added her favourite Brianna’s Honey Mustard Dressing, ordered from Amazon, for some extra flavour.

Beyond its ‘delicious’ flavour, Ruth’s salad also contains an impressive number of ‘superfoods’(Image: David M. Benett/Dave Benett/Getty Images)

“There you go! That’s tomorrow’s upside down salad,” she concluded, while adding in the video caption: “I take this to work most days….stops me grabbing unhealthy, processed food.

“Even when you make a healthy choice and buy a salad, in my experience, they’re mostly leaves!! This way you get a good, decent portion salad and you get to put all the things you like in it!”

Beyond its ‘delicious’ flavour, Ruth’s salad contains an impressive number of ‘superfoods’. Generally, this refers to items rich in nutrients and minerals which may boast a number of health benefits.

For instance, in 2014, the University of Bristol claimed that men who ate over 10 tomato portions per week had an 18% lower risk of developing prostate cancer. Nutritionist Helen Bell, at Help & Advice, also vouched for this in a conversation with the Mirror, while explaining that cooking them may bolster their protective effect.

She said: “There is evidence suggesting that tomatoes might lower prostate cancer risk, largely due to lycopene. This antioxidant is thought to reduce inflammation and prevent cancer cell growth. When I’ve looked into it, cooking tomatoes seems to increase lycopene availability, so enjoying them in sauces or soups might be particularly beneficial.”

Scientists have similarly lauded avocados for their high omega-3 content, referring to the healthy fats critical for both cardiovascular and brain health throughout life.

Specialists at the US-based University of Rochester Medical Centre previously explained: “Omega-3s are a helpful and important form of fat. Your body needs it but can’t make it. Your body needs 2 forms of omega fatty acids.

“These are omega-3 and omega-6. Omega-3 is the most important. Experts believe that omega-3s help prevent coronary heart disease (CHD) in healthy people. They also believe omega-3s can slow progress of the disease in those who already have it.”

ITV Loose Women star ‘missing’ as Christine Lampard details reason for absence

Loose Women was hosted by Christine Lampard on Tuesday afternoon, with Myleene Klass, Kelly Brook, and Nadia Sawalha on the panel, but it was missing one star.

This afternoon’s episode of Loose Women was a rollercoaster, starting off with a bit of mayhem as the show went live missing one of its stars. The ITV chat show had to adapt quickly when Nadia Sawalha didn’t make it on time for the opening.

Christine Lampard, married to football icon Frank Lampard, took the reins, with just Kelly Brook and Myleene Klass by her side announcing that Nadia had been “running late”. The panelist did eventually make a grand entrance, cycling onto the set, much to the amusement of everyone.

Despite the initial confusion for those tuning in, it turned out Nadia’s quirky arrival was all part of the act. She hopped off her bike, helmet still on, and quipped to the audience: “I was so frightened I was going to hurt the front row.”

Christine praised her efforts, saying: “You were brilliant.” But Nadia, wasn’t willing to accept her compliment as she retorted: “Shut up, I was so embarrassing.”

The mood took a sombre turn later in the show when the panel received heartbreaking news during the broadcast. Linda Nolan, a cherished member of the Loose Women family, has died following a battle with cancer, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Things are set to get emotional for the Radford family, with the next 22 Kids and Counting series set to be more personal than ever before.

Sue Radford, 50, and husband Noel, 54, are very used to sharing their life on screen. They first appeared in the Channel 4 documentary 15 Kids and Counting, which featured several large families, back in 2012.

After that proved to be a hit, the Radfords became the main focus of a follow-up series, 16 Kids and Counting. As Sue continued to have more children, they featured in more periodic update documentaries until they decided to stop having kids on their 22nd child.

From there, the family’s story continued on-screen under the moniker 22 Kids and Counting. The most recent season featured third-born child Millie walking down the aisle to boyfriend Harley.

Noel and Sue’s children are usually the focus of these documentaries, but this time around, things are getting a little more personal for the family patriarch…

Dr Hilary revealed he sought treatment at a private hospital to avoid a huge waiting list.

He used Patient Choice, which is an NHS service. It gives people the option to search for private facilities, hospitals and other providers that they can access.

Private hospitals can even be used if they provide the same service that the NHS would. Meanwhile, patients have access without being billed for it.

As a spokesperson for Practice Plus Group, Dr Hilary underwent his operation at a new hospital in Birmingham.

“I’d do it again in a heartbeat for faster, quality care and highly recommend it. Patient Choice gives people real power – they just need to know it’s there. The NHS App is going to be developed further to make this easier, and you can speak to your GP about your choices. You can choose to be referred to a private hospital at the outset, or you can switch hospitals like I did if you’re facing delays locally,” he said.

He added: “People don’t want to be on a waiting list. They want to get on with their lives. Every single person that looked after me was amazing and couldn’t have done any more. I am delighted with the result so far.”

In a photo obtained by the Express, the 72-year-old was captured recovering in his hospital bed with a smile.

    ‘Doctors don’t make good patients’

In January, Dr Hilary was welcomed back to Lorraine after he had been absent from screens for some months.

He returned to the ITV daytime show with a medical boot. Discussing his time away, Dr Hilary revealed he had “a little disagreement with my Achilles tendon and a little boney spare at the back of my heel”, which he stated “had to be gone”.

Dr Hilary insisted that “doctors don’t make good patients”. However, it reminded him that it reminds “us what it’s like to be a patient”.

  • Coronation Street follow-up: As Kit is stabbed by Mick, here’s whether Jacob Roberts could exit soap

Coronation Street follow-up: As Kit is stabbed by Mick, here’s whether Jacob Roberts could exit soap

    Kit was bleeding out

Kit Green was stabbed by villain Mick Michaelis this evening in Coronation Street (Monday, July 14) and was then rushed to hospital.

Kit had been confronting Mick on the balcony of Underworld before Mick grabbed a sharp object from out of his pocket and stabbed him.

The end of the episode then saw Bernie and Sarah watching Kit be taken to recus at the hospital.

Coronation Street: Kit was stabbed by Mick

Tonight, Mick Michaelis broke out of prison. He was planning on meeting Brody and the girls and going on the run.

However, oblivious Sally took Joanie to her taster day at Weatherfield High and threw a spanner in the works.

Kit and Bernie realised that Brody had taken Shanice out of school and had also packed some bags, realising that he’d been planning on meeting Mick.

Seeing Sally on the factory roof, Kit called for back-up and headed inside Underworld to confront him.

On the factory balcony, Kit Green then tried to tackle Mick and told him that Brody had him to look out for him now. He was his biological father.

Mick couldn’t accept this and stabbed Kit, with Kit then being taken to hospital for life-saving surgery…

Kit needs life-saving surgery (Credit: ITV)

Here’s whether Jacob Roberts could be leaving Coronation Street

Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Kit is taken in for life-saving surgery as Bernie and Gemma sit by his hospital bedside.

Bernie also fears for Brody as she’s yet to hear from him since the other night.

But, could Kit die at the hospital as a result of Mick’s stabbing? Will another name be added to Mick’s kill list?

Well, there has been no official confirmation that actor Jacob Roberts is due to leave the role of DC Kit Green, and the actor is not currently known to be working on any other projects which means it is likely that Kit will live to see another day.

But, this is soapland after all, so we shouldn’t breathe a sigh of relief just yet.
