Father Ted co-creator Graham Linehan has admitted to throwing a trans activist’s phone after an argument. The comedy writer is currently on trial in London.

He is accused of harassing trans woman Sophia Brooks. The claims include damaging her phone during an incident outside the Battle of Ideas conference in Westminster on October 19 last year.

Ms Brooks claims that Linehan insulted her before he grabbed her device. Linehan, meanwhile, says it was a reaction while his adrenaline was high. He also claimed that his life had been made hell by trans activists before the alleged altercation.

While Linehan admits throwing the phone, he denies one count of harassing Ms Brooks on social media between 11-27 October 2024.

He also denies a charge of criminal damage to her mobile phone. The damage is said to have cost £369.

Katherine Harris, the co-founder of LGB Alliance UK, was among those giving evidence in court on Wednesday. She told the court she saw Ms Brooks stand up with a camera during a panel discussion.

Harris, who referred to Brooks as male, said: “It was a deliberate, intimidatory move on his part and he would not stop. He was photographing anybody and everybody he could, and it felt intrusive and aggressive.”

She continued: “It felt as though he wanted to get everybody, to get all of us in his power through his camera, to say, ‘I’m the big man here, I can do what I want’. That was the message. The disruption was complete.”

Harris also revealed she knew Linehan “very well”. Last month a court heard the allegations of the phone grab.

At the time, Prosecutor Julia Faure Walker told Westminster Magistrates Court Linehan posted messages about the victim on social media “relentlessly” and added: “These posts were not merely irritating or annoying, but oppressive and unacceptable.

“The purpose of these posts, say the prosecution, was not merely to relay events, to express political opinion, to criticise, to help identify perpetrators or to solve any crime. Rather they were verbally abusive and vindictive and reflected Mr Linehan’s deep disliking of Ms Brooks. These posts were not provoked by Ms Brooks. The posts were unsolicited.”

Faure Walker added: “It is not in dispute the defendant sent the relevant social media posts. It is not in dispute that the defendant seized and threw the phone of Ms Brooks.”

The prosecution outlined at the time the alleged criminal damage incident involving the phone, which they said occurred after Ms Brooks approached Linehan while filming and asked why he had previously accused her of being “a domestic terrorist” in an online post.

The court heard he responded: “Go away groomer, go away you disgusting incel” and called her “a sissy-porn watching scumbag”.

As well as Father Ted, Dublin-born Linehan, also wrote hit TV shows The IT Crowd and Black Books.

Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden enjoyed a wild reunion.

The former Britain’s Got Talent co-stars have maintained a close friendship since the broadcaster stepped down from his role as a judge on the ITV show in 2010.

The former Good Morning Britain news anchor is currently riding the waves of success following the release of his latest book, Woke Is Dead. An official synopsis for the book states he has delivered a “characteristically combative rebuttal of what he views as ‘woke culture.”

And it appears that Amanda has been helping Piers celebrate the release following the official launch party in America. The pair reunited at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, and the event appeared to get slightly out of hand.

Taking to Instagram, Piers shared a snap of himself and Amanda at the swanky eatery after they tucked into some food. As Amanda held the book up, she covered her teeth with a tissue, mocking the now-famous Hollywood smile.

The star looked sensational as she wore her signature blonde hair in loose natural waves. Amanda rocked a silk blouse, which she accessorised with pearls around her neck. Meanwhile, Piers struggled to contain his smile as he relaxed, wearing a black shirt with the top buttons undone.

“The Hollywood launch party for Woke Is Dead went off the rails quite quickly – as most parties do when Amanda is involved,” he said. Amanda replied with two laughing emojis under his post, which has been liked over 5,000 times.

“True friends,” said one fan. A second added: “You too always look to have the best time.” Meanwhile, a third went on to comment: “I’m Team Piers Morgan all the way. He says it as it is and, if you don’t like it, change channels.” Many of Piers’ online followers explained that they couldn’t wait to get their hands on a copy of Woke Is Dead.

Piers’ celebration comes after he revealed that one thing “saved” him after an awkward interview with President Donald Trump. Just before the interview, Trump had received a file containing every critical comment he had made about him.

Morgan believes that Nigel Farage had supplied the President with the folder. However, there is nothing to suggest that this was the case. Requiring a swift remedy to salvage the interview, Morgan determined that praise was likely the most prudent approach: “I was sweating at this point, thinking, this interview’s off – how am I going to launch my show? This is a complete disaster.

“Ironically, I started thinking on my feet like I would on Celebrity Apprentice: ‘How do I get out of this? How do I game the moment?’ In the end, I was saved by golf.”

Piers had recently read an interview with South African golfing legend Ernie Els, who had just played a round with the president. Trump had, reportedly, scored a hole-in-one during the game. So Morgan chose to focus on that, rather than any critique of the notoriously sensitive leader’s political history.

Morgan explained: “I said to him, ‘I want to talk about some positive things too.’ And he said, ‘Like what?’ And I said, ‘Your hole in one. Everyone’s talking about it.’” He relayed the details of a recent interview with Ernie Els that he’d read, in which the former World No. 1 stated that Trump’s lucky shot was one of the best he’d ever seen, describing him as “the best presidential golfer he had ever played with”.

Following that, Morgan says: “Trump’s whole demeanour changed immediately. He said, ‘All right, let’s do the interview.’ So I was saved by Ernie.” He hasn’t forgotten Farage’s alleged underhanded move, though, labelling the Reform leader as a “treacherous weasel.” Piers complained: “When he interviewed Trump about three months earlier, I sent him a text saying, ‘Nigel, congratulations on your interview with Donald, great hit.’ And he went, ‘Thank you.’ How did he return the favour?

“He went back to London and decided to screw me and to wreck my interview.”

Shirley Ballas’ ex fiancé gushes over new flame after ‘vanishing’ from Strictly star

Shirley Ballas’ fiancé Danny Taylor has moved on

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas’ ex fiancé Danny Taylor has thanked his new partner for her support following his heartbreak. The ballroom dancer, 64, dated Danny, 52, for six years before their split.

She confirmed their split last year as she admitted she was grateful to have the love and support of her mother Audrey and her son Mark Ballas.

Shirley met Danny, who was 13 years her junior, while doing panto together. The pair fell in love and were together for six years – even getting engaged, before Danny went missing. Danny later showed up as if nothing had happened, which caused Shirley to decide to end her romance. Now, her ex Danny has praised his new partner Rachel Jones, 40, for helping him through “murky waters”.

He shared a series of photos of Rachel as he gushed: “Happiest of birthdays to this absolute corker! A kind, caring, hilarious powerhouse — and fabulous mum to two smashing boys — who, over the last year, has helped keep me afloat through some of the hardest and most distressing times I can remember.

“Keep the laughs coming! Big love, Normster xxx.” Danny publicly confirmed his romance with Rachel when he shared a photo of them together on holiday in June.

His new love came just seven months after he “vanished,” leaving Shirley devastated on her 64th birthday. She had received a text from one of Danny’s relatives expressing concern that he’d gone missing.

Shirley was engulfed by the harrowing thoughts of her brother David who had tragically taken his own life, in 2003, aged 44. The Strictly star frantically tried to hunt Danny down and at 2am she noticed her messages to him were being read.

Her relief turned to anger as Danny reappeared the next day and carried on as if nothing had happened. It was clear she wouldn’t have him in her life anymore as she told the Mirror: “I will never forget that day until the day I die.

“I remember looking across in the middle of the night and I saw my mother was just so upset, reliving all of her trauma. I just thought ‘this can’t go on’. Not just for my sake, but my mum too.”

“I still loved him but I thought this is something I can’t continue to be a part of,” Shirley told us. “It’s all very sad.” The pair met in 2018 when they did panto together.

They fell in love fast, with the pair getting engaged in 2021 and Shirley had even got wedding rings. “There was no question about how much I loved that man.

“And he came into my life at a point when I really, really needed it and he was such a caring person,” she explained. “But what’s the nicest way to say this?

“Along the line, there were red flags that I chose to ignore, but it just got to a point where the relationship was becoming too difficult for me in many ways.” Shirley and Danny haven’t seen each other since that night.

Before her romance with Danny, Shirley was engaged to her former dance partner Nigel Tiffany when she was 16 and later married another ballroom partner Sammy Stopford at 18.

The marriage lasted four years and she went on to wed Corky Ballas in 1985 and they welcomed son Mark together, before splitting in 2007.

Conor said Charlotte’s tears were ‘fake’

Charlotte Chilton has been mocked by Conor Maynard for her ‘fake tears’ after she insisted he was the father of her daughter. Though two tests said the musician was not the father of Charlotte’s baby, she is adamant he is the dad.

Charlotte’s daughter was born in October 2024 and a DNA test was carried out in March 2025, which confirmed the singer did not father the child. Another was done in August, which gave the same result.

However, in a recent interview, Charlotte said the results are wrong and that Conor is the father. “I have researched and researched trying to find the answers because I know for a fact that the only person who can be my daughter’s father is Conor Maynard,” she said.

“After speaking to experts I have found out that what might have happened is I could have been carrying twins but lost one very early. Then strange genetics come into play which means that twin could have taken certain DNA so her father could never show up on a paternity test. It is something called chimerism.”

Conor has since fired back after Charlotte’s teary interview in a post on social media. In the clip, he played a clip of Charlotte getting teary in the interview, before he appeared on screen and held a box of tissues.

“Here’s an invisible tissue for your invisible tears,” he said, before playing a clip of his song with the lyrics: “Why you keep on talking baby, won’t you stop / Ain’t nobody listening cause you talk too much, please shut up with a cherry on top.”

Alongside the post, he simply wrote: “My response to the most recent news…”, with the comments flooded with support for Conor including his brother Jack who called it “absolute cinema”.

Conor previously exclusively told The Mirror how he was still suffering following the scandal. He told us: “I’ve pretty much always poured what I’m going through into my music, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Since this was a pretty intense situation to go through over the last year and a half, it made sense to continue my usual process of putting it into my music.”

He added: “Obviously, a lot of the lyrics of the song are said somewhat in jest, but I think they mainly point to how this entire situation could have been avoided.

“I was always of the opinion that the whole thing could and should have been dealt with quietly and privately, especially since none of it had even been proven before it reached the court of public opinion.

“It had zero benefit from being so publicly carried out, but obviously, it’s too late for that now; what’s done is done. So I think that lyric kind of points to the fact that maybe it’s sometimes better to deal with things properly before shouting them from the rooftops.”

Exclusive: Coleen Nolan splits from boyfriend as she reveals heartbreaking reason

Singer and television presenter Coleen Nolan has opened up about splitting from her partner Michael Jones, who she had dated for three years and shared the sad reason why they parted ways

Coleen Nolan has split with her partner of three years – as she embraces single life on her new farm.

The Loose Women favourite recently parted ways with Michael Jones, citing her busy lifestyle as the reason as she juggles work with settling into her new home. Mum-of-three Coleen, 59, says breaking up was “sad” – but insists it ended on good terms. “We’ve decided that we would rather just stay friends, take it as a friendship,” says Coleen, who started dating the supermarket logistics worker in 2021.

“It’s nothing to do with anyone else, it’s nobody’s fault. But I’m really busy and when I’m not really busy with work I’m busy on the farm and I feel personally that I can’t give time to everything. We still get along great and hopefully we can continue to be friends, who knows?”

It wouldn’t be the first time Coleen says pals with an ex – she counts her two former husbands, actor Shane Richie and musician Ray Fensome, among her best friends. “I think that comes from age and experience,” she tells our sister title OK! magazine. “With it being my 60th next year I think, ‘I haven’t got time, life’s too short.’ I mean, I hope I have lots of time but I’m not 20 any more, I don’t want to wait for two years and see what happens.

“I’m not going to say it wasn’t sad, because of course it was. But I really hope that once that sadness goes away we can continue to be friends. I don’t regret any of it, it was fabulous. Michael came along at just the right time for me and I think over the last three-and-a-half years we’ve helped each other grow.

“I always choose to focus on the times that were great, not the sad ending. The last two years of both my marriages were probably horrendous, but equally, the 10 years before were fantastic, so I’d rather focus on that.” Another focus of Coleen’s is her new six-acre house in Staffordshire and realising “her dream” of owning a real farm, which she shares with daughter Ciara and her fiancé Max.

    Coleen Nolan

She even wants to turn her life on the farm into a reality show. “Even when I was little and I was with my sisters, Dad would say to me, ‘You just need to be on a farm, you need to be with animals.’ I can still hear him saying it,” says Coleen, who was a member of the pop group The Nolans with her sisters.

Her life on the farm spends three to four hours a day mucking out and feeding the animals – and she says there’s huge freedom in that. “It’s just a wonderful feeling, it really is my happy place,” she beams. “The best thing about it is, the animals don’t care whether I’ve got make-up on, or what I’m wearing. As long as I’m giving them food, letting them out or taking them for a walk, they don’t care about anything else.

“Because I’m in an industry that is fabulous, but also means you’re judged by everything you do, being on the farm where nothing matters and no one is judging me is a wonderful feeling.” With three horses, five dogs, six cats, five ducks, two cockerels, four hens and five pygmy goats – life is busy. Ciara, 23, lives in what used to be a separate Airbnb home on the plot with Max.

“If I had to have neighbours, they’d be the ones I’d want,” she says. “Although I think they think I’m the local Tesco Express because Ciara will come up and leave with a Tesco bag of whatever she’s found in my fridge. But then she’s like my local restaurant because I’ll go up there for my dinner and then come home again. So, I can’t really complain when she comes and steals the ingredients.” Ciara – whose dad is Ray – is also loving their new dynamic.

“I’m absolutely loving living here,” she says. “It went from a house to a home within a couple of days. We’re actually living my dream life, too, and I’m so grateful. I couldn’t be more proud of her. I look out my window in the morning and can see the horses and it’s the best feeling.” Coleen has two older children, Jake and Shane, who she shares with her first husband, EastEnders actor Shane.

As well as turning 60 in March, next year officially marks 25 years of Coleen’s time on Loose Women, having joined the show in its very first year on air. Looking back over her time on the ITV panel show, Coleen said: “My whole life has changed since then, I’ve lived my life on Loose Women and equally I’ve learnt a lot and I’ve grown a lot. When I think back to my opinions on certain things 24 years ago compared to my opinions now, they’re so different. I look back sometimes and think, ‘Why would I have ever thought that?’ But I was in my early thirties when I started, and now I’m nearly 60. I’ve had kids who’ve taught me so much, life has changed and the world has changed. I’m so much more confident now in who I am.”

    Coleen Nolan and daughter, Clara

While she wouldn’t change anything about her time on the panel, the only thing Coleen doesn’t enjoy so much now is how “restricted” the panellists are. “Back then, you could say what you wanted, and while people might not have agreed with you, it didn’t mean you were ‘cancelled’ or never going to work again. Now we have to be really careful, and edit ourselves. That’s the only slightly negative change. I’ve still loved every minute of it.”

Supporting her Loose Women pal Ruth Langsford after her split from husband Eamonn Holmes, Coleen says she’s in “awe” of how she’s handled the situation. “She’s such a dignified lady and she looks the best she’s ever looked, in my opinion. She’s a trooper, and I’ll always be there for her.”

Ruling out following friend Jane Moore into the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Coleen does have a new TV project in mind. “I’m in awe of them all, I’d have made Dean [McCullough] look good. You think he can scream? You should hear me. No, I’d much rather do a reality show about life on the farm. That’s the next big dream.” Read Coleen’s full interview in OK! magazine, out Tuesday.

Prunella Scales’ health woes as she ‘didn’t understand husband Timothy West’s death’

Actress Prunella Scales has died following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s that left her “not well enough” to comprehend the loss of her husband Timothy West last year. The Faulty Towers star died aged 93, just months after Timothy.

Their children confirmed the sad news in a statement as they said: “Our darling mother Prunella Scales died peacefully at home in London yesterday. She was 93. Although dementia forced her retirement from a remarkable acting career of nearly 70 years, she continued to live at home. She was watching Fawlty Towers the day before she died.”

They added: “She is survived by two sons and one stepdaughter, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We would like to thank all those who gave Pru such wonderful care at the end of her life: her last days were comfortable, contented and surrounded by love.”

Timothy died in November last year(Image: BBC)

Timothy and Prunella enjoyed a lengthy marriage, having wed in 1963 before welcoming two sons together. However, in January 2013, Prunella revealed her short term memory was fading.

A year later Timothy confirmed that she was living with Alzheimer’s disease and had been diagnosed with vascular dementia. The couple appeared together in 10 series of Great Canal Journeys for Channel 4 from 2014 until her Alzheimer’s reportedly progressed to the point where they had to stop in 2020.

Prunella recieved the full support and love from Timothy as she said their relationship didn’t change. She once said: “I have got to know him better and better and better.”

Timothy added: “I know that things are going to change a little bit, but it has been a long time and we have managed pretty well really. I don’t think we ever think ‘Oh no’.”

The actress added: “I have been asked to live the rest of my life with somebody I respect very much and agree with a lot of things and argue with about a lot of things quite happily.”

Timothy stated that the pair “somehow coped” with the news although Prunella often didn’t think about her condition. However, as the disease progressed, Timothy revealed he struggled to communicate properly with his wife.

“When we’ve been to a concert, or a play, or a film, there’s nothing very much we can say about it afterwards because Pru will have a fairly hazy memory,” he said on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. “She’d have enjoyed her evening and she’ll perhaps talk about the acting, but she’s not able to cope with talking about what the play was saying.”

He added: “Well, the sad thing is that you just watch the gradual disappearance of the person that you knew and loved and were very close to. There’s a lot of her left, and we still enjoy life and there are a lot of things that Pru is able to enjoy and we’re able to do together.

“If you live from day to day it’s manageable. It’s when you start thinking of the past and thinking, ‘Oh what a shame she can’t do that anymore, she doesn’t appreciate that anymore and we can’t talk about this anymore’, then it’s sad.”

Timothy died “peacefully in his sleep” on November 12, 2024. Following his death, their son Samuel gave an update on Prunella. Heartbreakingly, he told the Sunday Times: “All I am going to say is she’s not really well enough to take it all in.”

In a BBC interview in 2023, Timothy recounted the doctor’s words during the diagnosis as he said: “We went to see a specialist who said, ‘Sorry, this is just something which happens to you when you are older and it’s not going to get any easier, but you can cope with it. Don’t let it get you down.’”.

According to the NHS, vascular dementia is a common type of dementia caused by reduced blood flow to the brain. It’s estimated to affect around 180,000 people in the UK. Vascular dementia tends to get worse over time, which can make daily activities increasingly difficult and someone with the condition may eventually be unable to look after themselves.

Greg James had a stern warning for those who had been quizzing him on a “delicate subject”. The Radio 1 DJ and presenter, 39, took to his social media to share a rather blunt message with his followers to make his feelings clear.

Greg captioned his Instagram upload: “A delicate subject but one I’ve had a huge number of messages about. All The Best For The Future goes deep on the subject of having kids…”

And in his video, a question reads: Should you have kids or not? Greg starts the clip by saying: “This is no pressure on you to have kids.

“You might think there is,” he goes on. “But there isn’t. You don’t have to have kids if you don’t want to.”

He reiterated his point by saying: “If you really don’t want to, you shouldn’t.” As he goes on to discuss his book, he admits he wrote it to try to help people.

He admits that the section of the work designated to having kids is the bit that has “really resonated” with the public. “I feel the pressure. I have felt the pressure,” he confessed.

“Because my sister had kids, my friends are having kids, the world says you should have them. I never, it never crossed my mind when I was growing up to go ‘oh, I might not have kids’.

“I just always assumed I’d be a dad because nobody said to me ‘you don’t have to’. I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to.”

Greg then said: “You can have a great life with kids. You can have a great life without them. I think that’s it.”

And making his thoughts clear, he continued: “My number one thing is, and I don’t know if this is controversial, if you don’t know and you’ve discussed it properly with your partner or whoever you want to have a kid with, if you don’t know, I think it’s best not to.

“There are loads of s*** parents around and you don’t want to be another one. That kid deserves people who are really up for it.”

As he continued, Greg said he didn’t want to be accused of being a “misery guts” with his thoughts. And he revealed he loves all the kids in his life, including those who enjoy his kids’ books.

But he said it’s important we “stop asking people flippantly” if they’re going to have kids. “Let’s cut that out,” he insisted before saying “keep your f***ing beaks out, okay?”

The actress and presenter is known for her outbursts which often leave her Loose Women co-stars completely speechless but following break-up with husband, Mark Dunford, Linda has opened up about dating.

“I was asked out for a drink a little while back, but I said no,” she revealed. Speaking on the Suddenly Single podcast, Linda went on to add: “I was scared, I think. My husband has never seen me naked, so I wasn’t going to let anyone else! I wear Granny nighties. Not exactly a turn on, is it?”

But Linda has already thought of what she would put on a dating profile if she signed up to the likes of Tinder or Raya: “Linda, national treasure!” she exclaimed. However, she is certain that she won’t be tying the knot again in the future. But while marriage isn’t on the cards, Linda admits she wants to meet somebody with a sense of humour.

She added: “They’ve got to be clean! I can see every little thing. If I was at a bus stop, I would start picking off fluff!” But Linda is also ruling out a possible friend with benefits, explaining: “No. I don’t know if it is being Catholic Irish. My mum was with my dad and she never met anyone else… I’ve got my kids and my grandchildren. I’m quite happy. I really don’t think I will change.”

Linda’s admission comes just after she snapped at her co-stars on the ITV panel after being grilled about a possible holiday romance. She previously revealed that she and Mark had “drifted apart” after 34 years of marriage, causing them to split.

During a recent instalment, while talking about holidays, anchor Kaye Adams explained that many people are falling for con artists who pretend to have fallen head over heels in love with somebody on holiday. Linda explained: “I’ve never had a holiday romance, I’ve only ever had two partners.”

“You don’t want one though do you,” added Denise as Linda shot back: “No, I don’t want one.” Shocked by her comments, Nadia chirped in, asking her: “Not even a kiss at the bar?” “No I kiss my grandchildren, that’ll do me,” retorted the ITV star. Her friend and former Corrie star Denise stepped in to defend her, saying: “The thing is I know you do not want a long-term partner,” but was interrupted by Linda who giggled: “You bought me a friend, didn’t you.”

  • ITV I’m A Celebrity hit with Ofcom complaints as Ant and Dec’s Richard Coles joke riles viewers

ITV I’m A Celebrity hit with Ofcom complaints as Ant and Dec’s Richard Coles joke riles viewers

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! viewers were unimpressed with jokes made by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and so complained to Ofcom

I’m A Celebrity has been hit with Ofcom complaints already as viewers were unimpressed with Ant and Dec’s jokes.

The hit ITV show returned to screens just over a week ago and has racked up 70 complaints from viewers. Some fans of the show were left unimpressed by a series of jokes from hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly as they referenced the Bible and the Christian faith. Their jokes came after Reverend Richard Coles entered the Australian jungle alongside Love Island’s Maura Higgins.

Ant and Dec have been seen making prayer hands as orchestral music plays in the background while talking about Richard during the live shows. During Maura and Richard’s eating trial, Dec was heard asking him “More tea vicar?” Then in the studio following the trial, Dec described the trial as ‘unholy’ with Ant adding ‘Bum-holey’.

On Tuesday night’s episode, Ant gave a mock sermon during the live episode. Dec kicked off the joke: “It’s the start of a new day now and the first to wake up was Reverend Richard…” Music started playing as Ant butted in with a mock voice: “And though the night before there had been darkness and a plague of insects had been visited upon him. But he had receiveth a small bounty that did taste of cheese. And now, praise be, he did rise again.”

Dec said: “So basically you are saying Richard had a fright, got some crisps, then had a sleep and got out of bed?” Ant replied in the accent: “Yes my child.” Richard was ordained in 2005, eight years after he and Jimmy split up their band – synth pop duo The Communards up. In 1991, he became a Roman Catholic before returning to the Church of England in 2001.

Ahead of his jungle entrance, Ant made a savage five-word comment about Richard while appearing on spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked. The presenter said he thought Maura would bring fun and energy into camp, while Richard would act as a stable and calm figure. Ant added: “”More people might know her,” in reference to Maura and how the public will receive her entrance.

Richard has been shocking viewers himself since joining the camp as he made a cheeky comment about bedding a royal earlier this week. GK Barry – real name Grace Keeling – asked Richard: “Who’s the most interesting person you’ve ever met?” When he told her he thinks all people are interesting, she narrowed it down and asked whether he ever met a member of the royal family.

He said he has and when she asked what they were like, he quickly quipped: “Great in bed…” before bursting out laughing. Fans were lost for words and rushed to the comment section to question what happened. One user wrote on X: “Who has Richard bedded from the royal family? Have I missed something?!” Another wrote: “Reverend Richard said a Royal was good in bed.” “I love Richard so much and I need to know which royal he was talking about,” another posted.

GK had also questioned Richard about being gay while being religious. She asked: “Did you find it quite difficult being gay and doing that job?” The Reverend confessed: “No, not at all. I’ve never given it a moment’s twinge of anxiety over whether God thought it was alright or not. Whether other people thought it was alright or not, well I’m happy to have that argument…”

He added of his sexuality: “Also, I was not the first. Sometimes I look at documents from the early church, or the church of the middle ages and I just think – so gay.” GK admitted in the Bush Telegraph: “I came into this jungle, maybe not knowing who I would gel with or who I would be close with in here and never in a million years if you told me that I would be getting on best with a reverend would I have believed you.”

Where ITV I’m A Celebrity winners are now – career U-turns, weddings and camp romances

From happy ever afters to absolute misery, a lot has happened since I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here launched in 2002

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! draws to a close tonight with McFly’s Danny Jones, WAG Coleen Rooney and Reverend Richard Coles competing to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle.

The series will be known as having one of the friendliest – but wettest camps – on records, with the celebs trying to keep their spirits up while being battered by storms and rain for days on end.

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse narrowly missed out on a place in the final three as she was kicked out following the Celebrity Cyclone trial on Saturday night. Oti told hosts Ant and Dec she felt “mentally and spiritually stronger” for being on the show and would be happy for any of the trio left in camp to win.

As viewers prepare to crown the latest King or Queen of the Jungle, we take a look at the previous winners and find out what they’re up to now…

Although Aaron promised his family he was back for good, it was too good to be true as the character made a dramatic exit as part of the soap’s 50th anniversary storyline. As Danny discussed his brief return to the soap, he revealed his busy schedule wouldn’t allow him to be in the Dales for long, but is open to coming back.

He told Leeds Live: “I’ve got a few things on at the end of the year – including a pantomime and other stuff. Then I’ve got a job, so it is just not the right time. But I’m not one of those actors who says ‘that’s it now, I’ve shelved it’.”

Upon being crowned queen, Jac broke down and vowed that she would be seen as a ‘doormat’ no more and became the first winner to cancel all interviews.

She and Dan hit back at the naysayers, sharing a cute holiday snap and assuring fans that the ‘past is in the past’. She wrote: “We have gone through a very long journey, to be where we are today. Happy. Anyone that thinks differently, don’t Comment negative comments unless you want to be blocked.” [sic]

She continued: “You do not know the ins and outs of what we have both been through, to get to a good place now. I am proud to be with my husband, stand strong and keep our family together. I will not let stupid comments pull me back to the past and dampen my sparkle!! I’m past it and you all need to be in order to follow me. Thanks!! Jacqueline recently revealed her visit to Walford will not be a flying one. “I haven’t actually come on at all and spoken about the fact I am going back to EastEnders. How wild is that?” she told her 3.6 million fans on Instagram. “I haven’t spoken about it at all. They married in September 2014 before splitting the following October when she filed assault charges against the sports star. They reunited in 2015 and tried to make a go of things, but the final straw came when George suffered another public meltdown in July 2017.

George died on July 6, 2019 after suffering a suspected overdose. Kerry is now dating nutrition expert Ryan Mahoney. Last year, Kerry released a book titled Kerry Katona: Whole Again, where she documented the abuse she suffered at the hands of her late ex George. Kerry also landed her first presenting role in 20 years with BBC Radio Five Live.

This winter Kerry is starring in panto alongside her former I’m A Celebrity campmate Katie Price – the two will play the ugly sisters in Cinderella.

Radio DJ Tony Blackburn was the winner of the first ever I’m A Celeb back in 2002. After leaving the jungle he continued to work for the BBC but was abruptly sacked after the Dame Janet Smith Review report linked him to the investigation into the Jimmy Savile scandal.

Blackburn insisted he was innocent of any wrongdoing and said he was “devastated” by the sacking. He was reinstated on October 19, 2016 after he threatened to sue. That same year he underwent prostate surgery after waking up in extreme pain but was found not to have cancer. He continues to work for BBC Radio and hosts a show each Sunday on BBC Radio 2.
