Loose Women viewers horrified by Linda Robson’s X-rated confession as they’re ‘put off lunch’

Loose Women viewers ‘switched off’ the Friday lunchtime episode of the ITV show as the panel got X-rated during a discussion about body hair

Loose Women viewers were left “disgusted” by an X-rated chat on the ITV lunchtime show.

As the ITV show returned for only the second time this week – owing to the football and the horse racing – fans were left switching off after being horrified by one topic of conversation. They all sat down to discuss body hair, with Kaye revealing she had one hair she wanted plucking – and agreed to do it live on air, which left fans feeling physically sick when they zoomed into it.

However, talk soon turned to other parts of the body, with Linda Robson giving a very graphic description of hair in a certain area. At first she discussed it being a “brown bush” before later admitting there were only “stragglers”.

Horrified viewers took to social media to fume over the segment, which aired at 12.45pm, around the time people would be eating lunch. One viewer wrote: “This is vile and it’s making me physically ill #loosewomen,” as a second added: “Oh fgs Linda needs the sack. She’s disgusting #LooseWomen.” A third penned: ” #loosewomen Really?????? This isn’t lunch time viewing. @loosewomen.”

“My hubby was eating his beef salad sarnie and he never gags at anything but their hair chat just had him bau lking! #LooseWomen,” a fourth wrote, with a fifth adding: “Omg this is gross!! Why the hell would we find this entertaining yuk #loosewomen.”

The conversation soon turned to other types of body hair, with pannelist Kaye Adams having one of hers removed live on air. Watching the segment, fans expressed their disgust on social media.

One wrote: “Good grief, whatever happened to tv standards. Tut!Tut! #loosewomen,” as a second added: ” @loosewomen Why did you show the tugging of a hair from a mole at lunchtime??? Thanks so much for that.” A third took to Twitter to share their disgust, writing on social media: “That’s disgusting, just spat my brew out #Loosewomen.”

Loose Women only aired on Monday this week and again today, as ITV have been leading the way with coverage on the Euros 2024 as well as the horse racing at Ascot Racecourse, which has been attended by the royals this week.

ITV Loose Women star responds to quitting rumours with two-word answer live on air

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard spoke to Brenda Edwards on This Morning this Thursday as she promoted her latest project which begged the question – could she leave Loose Women behind?

Brenda Edwards has responded to rumours questioning her future on Loose Women with a categorical answer.

The former X Factor contestant appeared on This Morning this Thursday (June 27), alongside soul and gospel singer Michelle Ndegwa, after adding another string to her bow as she was announced as a director for Hairspray’s UK tour.

However, after promoting her latest project, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard couldn’t help but wonder if she could be leaving the Loose Women panel, which she joined on a regular basis in 2020, after making several guest appearances between February and March, 2019.

As regular viewers at home may know, Brenda stood in for Linda Robson and remained part of the line-up after the latter’s return to the show in early 2020.

Her answer left no room for doubt as she categorically denied she’d be leaving the program. “Absolutely not” she said, before adding: “unless there’s something I don’t know about.”

Earlier this year, the singer sparked health concerns among Loose Women fans as she appeared on set bearing an eye patch after an infection. In May, she was then seen without the accessory as she told viewers she was well on her way to a full recovery.

Brenda made the revelation when Charlene White – who was leading the panel at the time – asked her why her eye make-up had only been half-done.

Once co-star Linda believed she had just rushed her preparation backstage, she added: “I did not forget, Linda thought I had done one eye. No, I had the patch and it has gone down so you know, yeah I am without a patch. But also, without makeup because I can’t put makeup on it.”

More recently, Brenda responded to rumours of a feud between the Loose Women presenters after former star Carol McGiffin claimed she’d had trouble backstage.

“I get on with everybody”, Brenda said during a chat with Woman’s Own, “I’m not involved in anything. Everyone says we don’t get on, but we do. I get on with everybody and I just keep myself to myself and enjoy the show.”

She had then expressed her gratitude as she recognised that the show had given her a platform to speak about serious issues, including the tragic death of her son Jamal – meanwhile, her co-star Coleen Nolan candidly opened up about the behind-the-scenes feuding, stating she had once fallen out of love with Loose Women.

“It was because certain people behind the scenes weren’t being nice and I wasn’t enjoying it”, she admitted, “Then those people went onto other things and great people came in, and I’ve loved it ever since.”

Ruth Langsford is said to be battling ‘agonising guilt’ as she fears the public will think she has ‘abandoned’ her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes in his time of need as he continues to battle chronic pain

Ruth Langsford, the Loose Women star, is reportedly grappling with “agonising guilt” in light of her estranged husband’s ongoing health struggles. It’s said that she’s worried about appearing as if she’s “abandoned” her ex, Eamonn Holmes, who has been battling chronic pain and now relies on a wheelchair and walking frame.

Claims have emerged that Ruth is torn between assisting her former partner and embarking on a new chapter in her life. A source revealed to Bella magazine that Ruth feels “terribly guilty” and seeing recent photos of a “frail has been torture for her” Eamonn has been incredibly difficult for her.

The source added: “Even though she has every right to live her life and do what is right for her – she’s convinced the public will see her as abandoning Eamonn in his time of need as he struggles with his health.”

Friends of Ruth, described as a “sensitive soul”, have reportedly urged her not to be too hard on herself as she adjusts to her “new normal”. This comes after Eamonn expressed his hopes for their relationship in the future. Speaking to the Mirror, he acknowledged being on “borrowed time” while discussing his health issues.

“I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all,” he confessed to the publication before making an emotional appeal to his estranged wife. Reflecting on their 14-year marriage, he said: “It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.”

Eamonn opened up about his shingles battle in 2018, revealing he was hit with the virus on his son Declan’s wedding day. During a stint on Loose Women in September 2021, he discussed his health struggle that left him unable to present This Morning three years prior. His ordeal with chronic back pain began unexpectedly in spring 2021.He later found out it was due to three slipped discs affecting his right leg’s movement, forcing him to use a walking stick. The following year, he had to take a break from his GB news show to undergo crucial back surgery to alleviate his chronic back pain. Just weeks later, Eamonn suffered a shoulder injury after tumbling down the stairs at his Surrey home

Charlene White was given a warning on Loose Women today after the group discussed their anxieties about timekeeping, where Charlene confessed she was late for work today

Charlene White was given a ‘warning’ on Loose Women today by her co-star.

The ITV news presenter and Loose Women panellist was leading the show today, where she discussed timekeeping with the other three panellists – Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy. As they chatted about anxiety around keeping time, Natalie admitted she was there for the show really early – whilst Charlene said she showed up late.

That led to Charlene being ‘reprimanded’ by one of her colleagues, who joked that she she should be given a “warning” for turning up late to the show. Coleen then admitted she finds it annoying when people are late for work due to things in their control, before Charlene continued to insist that her reason for being late wasn’t in her control.

Meanwhile, earlier in the show, Charlene and the panel celebrated her birthday, which she spent camping.

Speaking about her special surprise, she said: “This is 44. And I ended up camping for it. Which is VERY unlike me! Thanks for all the really lovely birthday messages, DM’s, calls, texts, Stories etc. yesterday!

“I’ve had zero signal for days, as my birthday fell on the same weekend as Alfie’s class camping trip. And it turns out the reception is rubbish in the countryside. The wonderful parents in Alfie’s class and Andy threw a surprise birthday party for me yesterday afternoon, complete with decorations, presents, and my favourite drink. There were 24 families on the trip so it was quite an undertaking, and I’m super thankful. And the sun even shone. Woo-hoo!”

Charlene previously opened up about working with the Loose Women panel. She told The Mirror: “It’s a bunch of mates having a laugh. A lot of times they cut back to the studio after an ad break and we’re all still laughing… I’m lucky to work with an incredible bunch of women. We all have fun… Every morning we have our meeting together, it’s a room full of joy and laughter… It’s a room full of friendship and a room full of compassion, we care a lot about each other.”

Denise spent some time in Laguna Beach with Gabbritte’s mum last month, and shared some sweet snaps of her extended family. It comes as Denise said she was feeling “blessed” after the announcement of son Matty’s engagement to Gabbriette.

Loose Women panellist Denise previously confirmed the news of her son’s engagement after Gabbriette posted a series of snaps on Instagram revealing the news to fans while she and Matty supported friend Charli XCX in concert. Gabbriette posted a picture of her black diamond engagement ring and tagged Matty’s Instagram account with the caption: “Marrying The 1975 is very brat,” in reference to Charli XCX’s new album.

After confirming the news on Loose Women last month, Denise shared a lengthy Instagram post revealing she feels “blessed” over the news. She wrote: “What a day!!! I wake up to find that @gabbriette and Matty had gone Instagram official on their engagement so I was able to tell everyone!!!

“I’m so happy to be blessed with a wonderful daughter in law to be and to share this news with @chayobechtel and @gary.bechtel . Then @robbiewilliams popped by @loosewomen to say hi to his wife @aydafieldwilliams and ended up joining the panel!! It was so lovely to see him as we go back years but he hadn’t planned on being on telly so hadn’t washed off his spray tan!!! On Loose Women, Denise was previously quizzed on the news that Gabbriette would soon become her daughter-in-law. She said: “I have known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged. They went over to see their friends Charli and George in New York. I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram. Instagram official, he has got engaged to Gabbriette. Black diamond, he had it made for her and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

“She is from Los Angeles, she is absolutely gorgeous, she does have a rat. We couldn’t be happier, she is everything that I would want in a daughter in law.” Earlier this year, Matty was pictured introducing Gabbriette to his family. The couple supported Denise at her theatre stint in Manchester. The American singer spent time with Matty’s family at the show, including his younger brother Louis Healy, 22, their father Tim Healy, 72, and his wife Joan Anderton, 62.

Denise shared a snap of them all together and wrote in the caption of the post: “Lovely to have the family in to see mum at work!!!” Matty, who is the son of Denise and Tim Healy, started dating Gabbriette last September. She is the lead singer of punk rock band Nasty Cherry while he is the frontman of The 1975.

Their romance came after the high profile fling between Matty and pop star Taylor Swift. Taylor has since gone on to enjoy a high-profile relationship with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.

Loose Women chaos as guest ‘not in the building’ with Kaye Adams issuing ‘late’ warning

ITV’s Loose Women was sailing close to the wind as politician Nigel Farage was ‘late’ for his appearance on the hit ITV show causing Kaye Adams to warn their viewers

Kaye Adams was forced to issue a warning to Loose Women viewers during the latest instalment after a guest was late to appear on the show.

British politician and I’m A Celeb star Nigel Farage was scheduled to appear on the hit ITV programme on Friday (June 28). However, Nigel was late and wasn’t in the studio for his scheduled time.

Announcing the mishap, Kaye told viewers in the audience and viewers at home, that Nigel was nowhere to be seen and admitted that he was not “in the building”. Making sure things didn’t disrupt the schedule too much, the panellist went on to discuss Kelly Holmes coming out story and how much Pride means to her.

Appearing on the panel alongside Kaye, Gloria Hunniferd and Jane Moore. But fans at home were eager to see Reform leader Nigel on the show and headed straight to X to share their thoughts.

One viewer said: “Bring Nigel on ffs.” Another penned: “The leader of @reformparty_uk is due on @loosewomenthis afternoon. @kayeadams says he’s not currently there. Will @Nigel_Farage show up?”

But thankfully for viewers and for the Loose Women ladies, Nigel did appear on the hit talk show. But as soon as he sat down to discuss the upcoming election in the UK, Nigel was grilled.

Kaye firstly quizzed Nigel on homophobic and racist comments apparently made by a Reform UK member which was recorded by an undercover Channel 4 journalist while they campaigned for Nigel to become Clacton’s MP. However although he disagreed with the terrible language and behaviour used, Nigel told the panel that the person behind the racial and homophobic slurs was an “actor”.

He told the ladies: “I saw the footage last night and thought no one speaks like that. He’s a well spoken actor and he does something called rough speaking.” But Kaye and Jane interrupted Nigel’s trail of thought as they both were shocked that an actor would be hired to make the comments.

Seeing the chaos unfold on screen, fans headed to X to sharer their thoughts with some labelling the interview as a “car crash”. One fan wrote: “Nigel Farage with an absolute car crash of an interview on #LooseWomen and Dame Kelly absolutely looks furious he’s on.”

Another penned: “ITV desperately trying to get something on Nigel Farage. Constantly interrupting him, they are that desperate they’re quoting his teacher from 1981. Embarrassing. Only reason I’m watching #LooseWomen is because of his interview.”

Eva Longoria opened up to Loose Women’s Denise Welch and Kaye Adams on her thoughts about the possibility of a Desperate Housewives reboot

Eva Longoria joined the Loose Women panel for a chat on Thursday and it wasn’t long until chat turned to her iconic series, Desperate Housewives.

The actress, 49, played the role of Gabrielle Solis on the racy series and was asked whether she would be up for a role on any reboot of the series 20 years on from its initial release.Much to the panel’s surprise, Eva revealed she “wished” a reboot would be on the cards and would be “first in line” if it was ever an option. Her words were met with glee by Denise Welch and Kaye Adams, who both admitted to loving the show previously.

Eva said: “Everybody asks me one hundred times a day if we’re going to do a [Desperate Housewives] reboot and I’m like, I’d be the first one to sign up. I’d be on Wisteria Lane right now just waiting, waiting, for the crew.”

She continued: “I loved my time on that show. I love all the women.”

Eva added she misses portraying her character from the show, saying: “I miss Gabi. I miss being in her skin.”

She also revealed she keeps in touch with many of the cast from the famous show and said this week she had bee in contact with her former on-screen partner, Ricardo Antonio Chavira, who played Carlos.

It’s not the first time she’s shared her keenness to reboot the show. Back in 2022 while speaking to Rosanna Scotto during an appearance on Fox Five New York, she explained would definitely reprise her role on the show, which she starred in alongside Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman.

At the time, she enthused: “Believe me, I would be the first to sign up. I’m already on Wisteria Lane. I’d be like, sign me up.”

Eva was on the show to discuss her new role on Land of Women, which was released last month. It marked her first time back on the small screen in 10 years as she portrays Gala.

The Apple TV+ series follows as Eva plays a New York socialite who is forced to flee to a charming Spanish wine town with her mother (Carmen Maura) and daughter (Victoria Bazua).

Talking about getting back into acting, Eva told Kaye and Denise: “I hadn’t been on TV in over a decade and if I go back into TV I wanted it to be something different and something special and so I just got it in my head that I wanted to shoot in Spain and I wanted to act in Spanish for the first time. But I think doing comedy in a different language has a totally different rhythm.”

  • Channel 4 rejects Nigel Farage’s claim Reform UK racist was ‘set up’

Channel 4 rejects Nigel Farage’s claim Reform UK racist was ‘set up’

Broadcaster Channel 4 has rejected Nigel Farage claim that their undercover investigation into Reform UK’s campaign in Clacton was ‘a complete and total set-up’

Channel 4 has rejected a claim by Nigel Farage that its undercover footage of a Reform UK canvasser using racist language was a “set up”.

Party leader Mr Farage alleged on ITV’s Loose Women that their exposé was “a complete and total set-up”. He suggested Andrew Parker, who was filmed by Channel 4 on the campaign trail in Clacton, was being paid as an actor.

But the broadcaster has rejected the claim and said it strongly stands by its “rigorous and duly impartial journalism”. It denied paying Mr Parker or anyone else during its investigation. Mr Parker has also denied he was a “paid actor” set up to make Reform UK look bad. He confirmed to GB News that he is primarily a property developer and he does a small amount of acting on the side.

It comes as Rishi Sunak said he is “hurt and angry” about a Reform UK canvasser using a racial slur against him and said Mr Farage “has some questions to answer”. On a campaign visit to a school in Teesside, Mr Sunak told broadcasters: “My two daughters have to see and hear Reform people who campaign to Nigel Farage calling me an effing p***.”

Channel 4 has rejected claims Andrew Parker was being paid as an actor

When the comments were first reported Mr Farage said he was “dismayed” by them, adding that some of the language was “reprehensible”. He has since alleged that this “whole episode does not add up”.

Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women, he said: “It was an act right from the very start.” He claimed Mr Parker, the canvasser, had been “rough speaking” and “not being himself”, adding that his racist remarks “all seemed a bit over the top”. He went on: “I have to tell you, this whole thing was a complete and total set-up, I have no doubt about that.”

Asked whether he thought Mr Parker had been paid, he said: “I don’t know whether he was paid or not.” He added: “I’m saying it’s possible, I don’t know. Something is wrong here.”

The undercover footage recorded by Channel 4 News showed Reform UK activist Andrew Parker saying the party should “kick Muslims out of mosques and turn them into Wetherspoons ”. He also said that army recruits should use asylum seekers crossing the Channel as “target practice”. And in the same conversation he used a sickening racist term to describe Mr Sunak.

Keir Starmer said he had been “shocked” by the footage, describing it as “clearly racist” and adding: “I think this is a test of leadership.” “You have to ask the question why so many people who are supporting Reform seem to be exposed in this particular way,” the Labour leader added.

Mr Sunak said: “When you see Reform candidates and campaigners seemingly using racist and misogynistic language and opinion, seemingly without challenge, I think it tells you something about the culture in the Reform party.

“Andrew Tate isn’t an important voice for men. He’s a vile misogynist. And our politics and country is better than that. As Prime Minister, but more importantly as a father of two young girls, it’s my duty to call out this corrosive and divisive behaviour.”

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 News said: “We strongly stand by our rigorous and duly impartial journalism which speaks for itself. We met Mr Parker for the first time at Reform UK party headquarters, where he was a Reform party canvasser.

“We did not pay the Reform UK canvasser or anyone else in this report. Mr Parker was not known to Channel 4 News and was filmed covertly via the undercover operation.”

In a statement to Channel 4 when the footage first came out, Mr Parker said:”I would like to make it clear that neither Nigel Farage personally or the Reform Party are aware of my personal views on immigration. I have never discussed Immigration with either Nigel Farage or the Reform Party and that any comments made by me during those recordings are my own personal views on any subject I commented on.”

He continued: “I would therefore like to apologise profusely to Nigel Farage and the Reform Party if my personal views have reflected badly on them and brought them into disrepute as this was not my intention. I offered to help the Reform Party on their canvassing as I believe that they are the only party that offer the UK voter a practical solution to the illegal immigration problem that we have in the UK.”

During a royal engagement, King Charles once left people stunned with a devastating four-word reply when asked about his estranged son, Prince Harry.

Since Prince Harry dramatically quit his royal role in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California where he lives with his wife, Meghan Markle, and two children, meet-ups with his royal relatives have been few and far between.

In February 2023, King Charles visited the University of East London for its 125th anniversary, unveiling a plaque and opening its new hospital and primary care training hub. He shook the hands of onlooking students who had waited for hours to see him.

As he shook hands, one man shouted: “Bring back Harry please, can you please bring him back please, Sir?.” The King appeared to not hear at first and asked him: “Who?” The man replied: “Harry, your son” to which Charles heartbreakingly issued the four-word reply: “It would be nice.”

King Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry, have had a bumpy relationship since the release of Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare in 2023, and the interview alongside Meghan Markle with TV show host, Oprah Winfrey where he spoke in detail of his time within the Royal Family.

Harry and Meghan opened up in explicit detail about why they chose to leave the Firm almost a year after their departure in the tell-all interview.

Prince Harry further opened up about his life in the Royal Family in his memoir, which detailed his life growing up in his brother’s shadow, his mother’s death, and his eventual time in the military.

Harry wrote in his book: “The Heir and the Spare – there was no judgment about it, but also no ambiguity. I was the shadow, the support, the Plan B. I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy.”

It was hoped that King Charles’s recent cancer diagnosis would go some way to repairing fractured relations between the Firm and Harry and this appeared to be the case when Harry flew over after learning of his illness earlier this year.

But the meeting at Clarence House with his dad lasted approximately 45 minutes, with Prince Harry only staying in London for 25 hours in total for his return visit when he heard of the news.

Speaking later about his trip back home, Harry told ABC News: “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Prince Harry also returned to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, which Harry co-founded in 2014, but none of his immediate family attended the event at St Paul’s Cathedral.

It comes as Express.co.uk learns this summer, that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been invited to Balmoral to join the rest of the Royal Family.

According to a well-placed source, the Sussexes have been left off the official guest list for the Firm’s August summit so that King Charles, 75, and Kate, Princess of Wales, 42, can enjoy family time following a difficult year.

“Harry and Meghan will not be joining the rest of the Royal Family in August,” said the source.

“The King is keen for it to be a happy family occasion which will see members of the Royal Family come together for just over a week to discuss plans for the future and to unwind.”

Did Prince Harry hint that Meghan Markle is expecting twins?

Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their pregnancy in October, royal baby rumors have been flying. Is it a boy or a girl? What will the name be? Is Meghan actually intent on raising her child gender neutral? Aside from the last rumor, Kensington Palace has yet to comment on any of these Baby Sussex theories in accordance with royal protocol.

    Is Meghan Markle expecting twins?

But one resurfaced remark left fans believing that the couple is expecting twins. Back in March, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a ceremony to celebrate Prince Charles’ 50th anniversary of his investiture at Buckingham Palace, where father-to-be Prince Harry chatted with war veteran Simon Weston about rugby.

“We joked about Wales defeating England in the Six Nations rugby,” West reportedly told The Daily Express. “I also warned him and the Duchess it serves him right as they will be getting plenty of sleepless nights when the baby is born.”

“[Harry] said if they have any more than two, it will serve him right,” West continued.

Speculation of the double bundles of joy arose around the holidays, when the Irish betting company Paddy Power came forward to confirm they had stopped taking bets due to the surge of bets on twins. “An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether,” said a spokesman for TODAY.

Just a few weeks later, a clandestine photo of the couple that showed a very “popped” duchess reheated these theories, despite the palace’s silence on the rumors.
