One of Eamonn’s first interviews is with Virgin Voyage’s UK Director of Sales SJ Walker. The Travel Podcast launched in 2020 and quickly became iTunes’ number-one travel podcast. The exciting news comes almost two months after Eamonn and Ruth announced their split.

Ruth stayed silent about the separation while taking a break from work, but Eamonn swiftly returned to GB News and thanked fans for their support. On Monday, Ruth returned to her role on Loose Women, much to the delight of her co-stars.

She said: “Can I just say? I am so so happy that you’re back!”The entire audience clapped as Janet Street-Porter said: “Thank god! Thank god! I was left with her and her!” before Ruth apologised and added: “I’m sorry, Janet. I won’t do it again,” referring to the weeks she took away from the show

ITV Loose Women viewers call out major blunder during segment on presidential debate

On Tuesday’s instalment of Loose Women, the panel were debating whether or not Joe Biden should step down from his presidential role.

Loose Women viewers were quick to call out the ITV panel on Tuesday afternoon after noticing an error.

On the show, they were speaking about the recent news of Joe Biden stepping down from the upcoming presidential race.

With talks that Kamala Harris will be replacing him in the campaign, the presenters discussed what it would be like to see Donald Trump and Kamala fo head to head.

Ruth Langsford said: “It will be interesting won’t it, to see Donald Trump against a woman.”

Agreeing, Coleen Nolan added: “I think it will be really interesting to see how he will react to a woman.

“He’s always on the attack, isn’t he? He was always calling Biden out for his age.”

Ruth Langsford is back on Loose WomenAlthough viewers watching were quick to highlight Donald Trump did run against a woman back in 2016 when Hillary Clinton was running for President.

One person wrote: “#LooseWomen completely forgetting Trump stood against Hilary Clinton. Who I believe is a woman. @loosewomen.”

“We’ve seen Donald Trump in a debate with Hilary Clinton,” added another viewer.

Realising the error, one person asked: “Donald Trump was against a woman before. Have they forgotten that?”

Another quipped: “Didn’t Trump go against Hillary Clinton?”

One person tweeted: “Did you not hear Trump against Hilary Clinton who was a woman!?”

During the discussion, the Coleen told the panel she would want to see a woman become president for the first time.

She said: “I’d also like to see a female President of the United States, I think it would be historic.”

It seemed as though people in the live audience agreed as her comments earned a huge round of applause.

Sharing her thoughts, Denise added: “I would like to see an elected female, but I do agree with giving her that chance.

“I think, and not as a Trump fan I might add, that we can’t underestimate Trump he is a misogynist but then again as you said he also called Joe Bien all the names under the sun.

“He may just if she’s made the president and they get to debate, he’s clever enough to think, ‘I know that everyone is going to think that I’m going to come over as this misogynistic old drone, so I’m going to go the other way’.”

The ITV star added that Donald Trump does have a lot of support, however, with Joe Biden stepping down from the race has had a big impact on the democratic party.

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan vows to quit as she refuses to talk about controversial topic

As Kamala Harris is tipped to run for president against Donald Trump, Coleen Nolan hinted at a potential break from Loose Women as she admitted she was exasperated by the topic.

Coleen Nolan revealed she wouldn’t be on Loose Women if the panel’s discussion revolved around the ongoing debate around the American presidential election.

The panellist, 59, was back on the set of the daytime ITV show alongside Brenda Edwards, Denise Welch and Ruth Langsford as the group reflected on the latest headlines.

Presenter Ruth, who made her long-awaited TV return after her split from Eamonn Holmes this Monday, kicked off this Tuesday’s (July 23) instalment of the programme with a discussion around Joe Biden’s decision to drop out of the presidential election, which was seen as a potential boost for Vice-President Kamala Harris.

The US president has backed Kamala Harris’ nomination, leaving the Democratic Party on edge as she could face Republican candidate and former president Donald Trump later this year.

As Kamala Harris’ potential participation in the race to the White House, Joe Biden’s position as the American president was called into question and his Vice-President has been seen as his perfect replacement.

With the election due to take place on November 5, 2024, Ruth Langsford was well aware this wouldn’t be the last her panel and viewers would hear of the presidential campaign.

The conversation was drawn to a close with Ruth saying: “I’m sure this won’t be the last time we’re talking about it, it’s a long race for the presidency and we will see…”

But in a defeated breath, Coleen Nolan stared into space in despair as she lamented: “I won’t come in”, leaving the audience in hysterics.

Coleen has been a regular presence on the programme since her Loose Women debut in 2000. She first left the show in July, 2011, before reappearing on October 7, 2013. The TV star has also been a relief anchor of the show for the past decade.

This comes after another familiar star of the show, Judi Love, was announced to be taking on another role, worlds away from the talk show. It was recently revealed that Judi will be the official host for the upcoming specials for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, due to air in August.

Titled, ITVX Presents: LIVE COMEDY from the Edinburgh Fringe, the event will be streamed directly to viewers on the broadcasting channel.

Speaking about her role, Judi said: “If you can’t make it in person to the Edinburgh Fringe do not worry as we’re bringing it straight into your homes. You’ll be able to watch stand-up comedy, live from Edinburgh from your sofa! I’m truly excited to be hosting these four nights and sharing this experience with all these talented acts.”

Ruth Langsford’s three-word message to supportive Coleen Nolan after Loose Women comeback

Ruth Langsford has shared a sweet message to her close friend and ITV co-star Coleen Nolan after returning to Loose Women following her split from Eamonn Holmes

Ruth Langsford has praised Coleen Nolan in a sweet tribute.

The Loose Women host recently returned to the ITV show after taking some time away following the end of her marriage to Eamonn Holmes. Coleen has been stepping in for Ruth on occasion and has been by her side as she moves forward.

Coleen shared an image of Ruth jokingly strangling Coleen while in the Loose Women studio. The presenter captioned the post: “Backstage banter.” Ruth then reposted the Instagram Story from Coleen with the caption: “Love this woman!”

Ruth returned to Loose Women on Monday for the first time since she and Eamonn confirmed their split. Eamonn returned to GB News almost immediately while Ruth decided to take some time away from TV.

The 64-year-old was joined by fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards. Before Ruth could begin the show, Coleen interrupted: “Wait, wait, wait, before you carry on, can I just say I am so so happy you’re back.”

Cheers erupted from the live audience as Ruth sighed “aw” and smiled. Ruth thanked her co-stars before Janet cut in: “Thank God, Thank God, I was left with her,” as Brenda laughed and clapped. “I’m sorry Janet, I won’t do it again,” Ruth replied before adding, “I thought you was going to talk about long lost dogs for a second!” Coleen quipped: “I wanted to be nice to start with!”

Ruth has been a regular panellist on Loose Women since 1999 and took on the role of presenter in 2013. She and Eamonn met in 1977 and dated for over a decade before getting engaged after being introduced by friends. The couple tied the knot in 2010.

Eamonn and Ruth share one son together, Jack, 22, while Eamonn also has three children from a previous marriage, Declan, 35, Rebecca, 32, and Niall, 30. Loose Women viewers hit out at Ruth on Tuesday accusing her of “snubbing” Eamonn while discussing grandchildren.

Speaking about gifts she’s received from loved ones, she said: “I think any gift from a friend is a special gift, anything that a friend gives you. When someone says friendship bracelet I don’t think of a beautiful silver bracelet, I think of a bit of cotton that a kid has made for you.

“I don’t have grandchildren, I hope I will one day, but I can imagine that. If a grandchild or something has made me something I would feel the need to wear it.” ITV viewers pointed out that Ruth has step-grandchildren with Eamonn. One tweeted: “In the 14 years Eamon and Ruth were together, Her stepson Declan had two children. She would have known them… Her step-grandchildren. Now, she says she has no grandchildren. Ouch.”

“Ruth saying she doesn’t have grandchildren when she has step-grandkids on Eamonn’s side, I thought that was a bit mean,” another added. Eamonn’s oldest son Declan and his wife Jenny welcomed their first child Emilia in 2021 and welcomed their second daughter Isabella last year.

Loose Women’s Denise Welch fumes over rapist athlete competing in 2024 Olympic Games

Charlotte Dujardin has come under fire after footage showed her whipping a horse during a training session – but for Denise Welch, another Olympic athlete deserves just as much criticism

Denise Welch was frustrated that Steven van de Velde received close to no backlash for raping a 12-year-old after Charlotte Dujardin’s own actions caused her to be suspended.

The British dressage star, 39, was forced to pull out of the 2024 Olympic Games when footage showed her repeatedly whipping the back of a horse’s legs and she was suspended by the equestrian governing body, the FEI.

But as the dressage rider remains under fire for what she has described as “an error of judgement”, Loose Women panellist Denise Welch was seething to know that Steven van de Velde had been selected to represent the Netherlands in beach volleyball despite his rape conviction.

When discussing Charlotte Dujardin with co-stars Judi Love, Mariella Frostrup and Coleen Nolan, Denise seethed: “The headlines all over the papers this week, and on television this morning, it’s about the cruelty to this horse and I completely understand that.” Before she moved on to Steven van de Velde.

“He’s representing the Netherlands in beach volleyball”, the former Coronation Street actress explained. “He is an accused rapist and he has been imprisoned. He was 18, 19 years old when he knew that this girl was 12. He raped this girl and he admitted to it.”

She then continued to summarise the situation in a dismayed tone: “He was given a four-year sentence f which he served a year and he has been supported by the board at the Olympics and they are saying: ‘we’ve got everything in place, he’s not allowed to mix with anyone’.”

Denise was then clearly livid as she added: “We’re talking about violence against women and we’re making headlines of this equestrian situation, which is serious, but nobody seems to be talking, front page wise, about what’s going on.”

Steven van de Velde was found guilty of raping the girl at an address in Milton Keynes ten years ago. Having become acquainted with her on Facebook, the then 19-year-old travelled to the UK and police were alerted to the rape after his victim sought the morning after pill at a family planning clinic.

He was given a four-year sentence at Aylesbury Crown Court in 2016 after pleading guilty to three counts of rape and served a year in a Netherlands jail before his release.

Dutch Olympic chiefs say that Van de Velde has “sought and received professional counselling [and] demonstrated to those around him – privately and professionally – self-insight and reflection.”

Linda Robson has shown off her slim figure in swimwear after she opened up about some of the horrific side-effects of weight loss she has dealt with in the past

Linda Robson showed off her slimmed-down figure in a swimsuit while enjoying a lavish holiday with friends.

The Loose Women star was seen posing on board a yacht while enjoying a sun-soaked getaway looking lean in a black one-piece. Linda wore her blonde hair tied into plaits and minimal makeup as she beamed for the camera in the pictures. She appeared to be having a great time in the series of snaps she uploaded to Instagram from the trip which was for a fundraiser.

Linda wrote: “Had a wonderful couple of days attending a heartwarming fundraiser with such lovely people. Thank you so much Jay and family for your beautiful hospitality xxxx and met some lovely new friends xxxx.”

The snaps come after Linda opened up about embarking on a diet that was “so strict” it came with a catalogue of “revolting” side effects. The Loose Women star, 66, who openly admitted to struggling with her weight and body image, has tried everything from WeightWatchers to slimming pills, but insisted they’re “all horrible.”

She said one particular diet, which involved her living on packet soups, snack bars and milkshakes, made her breath stink and her hair fall out, while she was “starving the whole time”. Linda told Woman magazine: “I’ve spent most of my life on one sort of diet or another, even when I probably didn’t need to. I’ve done WeightWatchers and used slimming pills – I’ve tried just about every one available, and they’re all horrible.”

She added: “They either give you diarrhoea or they send you hyper. The plan (with one diet) was so strict, and the side effects I experienced were revolting. “My hair started falling out, my breath stank, and because I was literally living on packet soups, a snack bar and a milkshake – that’s all I would have all day – I was starving the whole time.”

The Birds of a Feather actress said at the time that she felt “better” than she had done in “years”, but Linda was in the throes of some serious health issues, including alcoholism, OCD, and insomnia. Reflecting on this time in her life, she said: “After I stopped drinking the wine, I went down to a size eight, and everyone was telling me how good I looked because of the weight loss, but inside, I was falling apart.

“I was spending whole days crying, and I looked absolutely terrible, really skinny like a skeleton… It was as if I was at death’s door, with hollowed-out cheeks and lines etched across my face.”

Penny Lancaster’s Loose Women return confirmed after lengthy absence

Loose Women star Penny Lancaster is set to make her return to the ITV panel show on Thursday, it has been confirmed as host Coleen Nolan announced the news

Loose Women’s beloved Penny Lancaster is set to return to the ITV panel once more this week.

The show’s anchor, Coleen Nolan, excitedly announced that the television personality will be returning to screens on Thursday.

Wrapping up Wednesday’s episode, Coleen revealed: “That’s it for today everyone, join us tomorrow, Penny Lancaster returns to the panel and former Strictly pro Pasha Kovalev joins us to remember his friend and fellow dancer Robin Windsor.”

Since her first appearance in 2014, Lancaster has been a staple on the daytime programme, although her presence has dwindled over recent years due to other professional pursuits and personal responsibilities. A source told Daily Mail: “It is obvious that Penny is no longer a regular panellist. This is purely due to other professional and personal commitments.”

Loose Women stars don’t hold back as they address Strictly drama live on air

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams, Judi Love, Penny Lancaster and Sunetra Sarker – who have all appeared on Strictly Come Dancing – have revealed their thoughts on the ongoing drama

Loose Women stars who have competed on Strictly Come Dancing have waded into the drama surrounding the show.

The BBC dance competition has been hit with controversy in recent months. Actress Amanda Abbington raised concerns about her experience on the show as she claimed she was diagnosed with mild PTSD. She was partnered with Giovanni Pernice, who has since stepped away from the show.

An investigation was launched by the BBC and this month dancer Graziano Di Prima was dismissed following allegations of behaviour to Zara McDermott. Loose Women stars Kaye Adams, Judi Love, Penny Lancaster and Sunetra Sarker have now shared their thoughts.

On Thursday’s show, the panel discussed Amanda’s live interview on Lorraine where she detailed her experience. Sunetra said: “We have all been on there and so we know the good and the bad. Everyone has had individual moments which won’t have been what we wanted them to be. But I don’t want to focus on that, the point here is that firstly, Amanda has found the courage to speak up about inappropriate behaviour and she didn’t find anywhere outside of this route to voice any concern that ‘I don’t feel safe here, I don’t really enjoy this’.

“I think it is down to management to take accountability for media spills. When you are in a difficult pairing, people don’t know where to turn because everybody else has got these amazing pairings. It highlights it event more if there isn’t a space where she can say I am feeling vulnerable. Also for the pros, to say you have paired me with a stranger that is not actually behaving appropriate with me. It has to work both ways.”

‌Host Kaye added: “You can understand why the audience don’t want it to be true. People feel very very warmly towards it, but it is a workplace and people need to know that behaviours are going to be appropriate.” Judi then shared: “It is all very sad and it makes you think about how complaints are handled, especially when women speak up about their experiences that have been bad.

“Everybody has different experiences on Strictly and it doesn’t mean if your experience was good, then another’s is bad, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be listened to. Their voice is just as important to make this place of work even more productive.”Penny added: “There needs to be some kind of due care of attention. It is very reminiscent of MeToo. It shouldn’t have to be that way anymore. When I was on Strictly I had a fantastically positive experience but I remember a tripod in rehearsal all the time, I never felt alone. There was always a presence of the video, you didn’t feel aware of but it was always there.

“Just like policing, there is a camera on our arm for not just to protect the officers but also protect the suspects, witnesses. Camera evidence is the most crucial thing and having a place to go to speak with trust.”

Strictly star devastated not to call Robin Windsor before tragic death

Professional dancer Pasha Kovalev made a heartbreaking confession while appearing on Loose Women as he admitted he wished he had called Robin Windsor before his death aged 44

Strictly Come Dancing star Pasha Kovalev has heartbreakingly opened up on his friendship with the late Robin Windsor.

The professional dancer, 44, appeared on Loose Women to discuss his close friend. Robin’s death at the age of 44 was announced in February this year. Ballroom & Latin dance company Burn The Floor, of which Robin was a founding member, announced the sad news in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday 20th February.

He was paired with a host of celebrities when he appeared as a professional dancer on the BBC competition from 2010 to 2013, including Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden and Lisa Riley. Speaking of his friend, Pasha said: “I think everyone loved Robin, anyone who ever met him loved him. He was a big sweetheart and he was helping anyone and everyone. I met Robin a long time ago, we were on the same production touring the world. Then we were reunited on Strictly. We did a lot of dances together.”

He then reflected on Robin’s death as he shared a devastating regret. Pasha said: “The news of his passing came as a huge shock to me and to all of his friends. When you hear about something like that, as a friend you start thinking ‘could I have done something more? Could I have spent extra time seeing him, talking to him, send extra message?’ Because of that, I think my first instinct was I wanted to cherish the time I had with Robin. Get all the friends together and speak about the good days and all that he loved.”

Strictly stars are set to come together to remember Robin later this year in a special show. Robin’s family shared a heartbreaking tribute to the Strictly star following his death. A statement shared with The Mirror read: “We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and celebration of our beloved Robin. While we understand that there is a huge public and media interest around his passing, we as a family need time to process our shock and grief. We ask for the needs of our family and friends to be taken into consideration and for our privacy to be respected at this difficult time.”

Professional dancer Gorka Marquez previously shared plans to remember Robin while making an appearance on Loose Women. Gorka told the show: “I think we are a family and the loss of Robin who was part of that family… he was just a wonderful person. He was always smiling. I have memories of him smiling when it comes to the show, it was positive things for all of us. The least we can do is celebrate him because wherever he is up there, he will be dancing with us.”

Loose Women’s Linda Robson hints at new venture as she discusses selling saucy snaps

Loose Women star Linda Robson might have a new career up her sleeve as she made a frank confession about selling online content to willing punters during the ITV programme

Linda Robson made a hilarious admission on ITV’s Loose Women as she joked that she’s considering selling saucy snaps online.

The 66-year-old appeared on Friday’s daytime show alongside Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Katie Piper where they discussed a range of topics. During the show, Kaye asked the women their thoughts on showcasing and selling raunchy photos online after it was reported that Team GB star Jack Laugher had joined a pay-per-view website to sell topless pics.

Due to Jack’s photos causing controversy online, Kaye asked whether the ladies would consider a similar route and whether Olympian Jack could still be a role model to young fans. Linda replied: “Well I might be going on Only Nans!”

As the audience roared with laughter, she then reflected on some of Jack’s pics and added: “I don’t find anything offensive about those photographs!” Kaye then said: “Can I just say, I have seen other photographs that are more sexualised.”

Linda quipped: “What website is that on then?” She then confessed that she wouldn’t mind “paying a fiver” to see the diver’s saucy content online.

But later on, Linda confessed that she wouldn’t actually want to have herself out there online “in that way”. She also mentioned that she wouldn’t be happy if her children joined a website like OnlyFans.

The news comes after sports star Jack admitted he had turned to OnlyFans to support his income. A subscription to his page costs $10 (£7.77) per month, meanwhile an annual subscription comes at a reduced rate of £80.

However the 29-year-old insists there are no nude pictures of himself on the website. He also mentioned that other members of the team had also followed suit, including Noah Williams, who will partner Tom Daley in the 10-metre platform synchro diving competition in this year’s Olympics.

“I was the first person to do it in our team. Dad was saying to me, ‘you put stuff on Instagram for free but when the product is free, like Instagram is, you are the product. So now I’m giving people stuff which is very similar to what I post online but it’s for a small subscription fee.”
