Emmerdale’s Katie Hill cosies up with Dales co-star in ‘peas in a pod’ snap

Emmerdale star Katie Hill was seen cosied up to Bradley Riches as the duo spent time with their fellow Emmerdale co-stars over the festive season.

Actress Katie Hill joined the ITV soap in 2017 as the next star to be cast as Sarah Sugden in order for the character to tackle some more mature storylines.

One of these storylines was being diagnosed with Fanconi Anaemia which has shortened her lifespan and puts her at an increased risk of being diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah decided that she wanted to become a young mum, but due to her condition, it was unlikely that she’d be able to fall pregnant, even with IVF. Instead, Charity Dingle offered to become her surrogate.

Since then, Sarah and Jacob became engaged, then married, as they celebrated the news of Charity’s pregnancy. Unfortunately, viewers know the truth isn’t so simple as Charity had a one-night stand with Ross Barton, which led to her falling pregnant.

Sarah is currently unaware, as well as Mackenzie Boyd who has no idea that Charity had a brief affair with her ex during a drunken night in the Dales.

Outside of the ITV soap, Katie often shares some behind the scenes snaps of her hanging out with her Emmerdale co-stars. Rosie Bentham who plays Gabby Thomas took to Instagram and recapped her December.

In one of the pictures, Katie was seen fast asleep next to Bradley Riches who plays Lewis Barton in the soap. Reacting to the post, she shared it to her story and wrote: “Like two sleeping peas in a pod”.

Bradley joined the soap earlier this year and plays the first neurodivergent character in the Dales. While part of the Barton family, viewers got to learn more about his family tree after it was revealed that Robert Sugden’s prison husband, Kev Townsend, is his biological dad.

Although Kev’s return to the soap appeared to be for revenge and to win Robert back, viewers are still holding out hope that father and soon will grow closer.

Reflecting on Sarah’s rollercoaster of a year as Emmerdale heads into 2026, the actress told the Mirror: “I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.

“It’s been such a great storyline to play so far and it’s definitely a unique storyline that I think I can say has never been done before! All of us involved talk about how much we can’t wait to see where this all goes.

“I hope she gets a happy ending after everything she’s been through. As for it to all fall apart would be so sad for her, however it’s a very complicated situation and we don’t know how Sarah would feel about the baby if she finds out the truth.”

  • ‘THIS COULD BE THE END’ RESIGNATION FEARS SWEEP WESTMINSTER AFTER BOMBSHELL REVELATION CHAOS AT THE TOP DD

‘THIS COULD BE THE END’ RESIGNATION FEARS SWEEP WESTMINSTER AFTER BOMBSHELL REVELATION CHAOS AT THE TOP DD

‘THIS COULD BE THE END’ RESIGNATION FEARS SWEEP WESTMINSTER AFTER BOMBSHELL REVELATION CHAOS AT THE TOP: What began as quiet unease has exploded into full-scale crisis. Sources claim senior figures are scrambling as pressure mounts to unbearable levels. The Prime Minister’s authority is said to be “evaporating by the hour,” and one leaked exchange hints a decision has already been taken just not announced yet

Resignation rumors are swirling around Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with insiders suggesting he may not last until 2026. Bookmakers are placing odds on his departure, and polls reveal a staggering 79% of the public disapproves of his performance. The political landscape is shifting, and the pressure is mounting.

Starmer’s candid acknowledgment of the rampant speculation regarding his leadership marks a significant turning point. This admission reveals that the Prime Minister is acutely aware of the growing discontent among both the public and his own party, which has reached unprecedented levels.

Recent polling data paints a grim picture for Starmer. A staggering 66% net approval rating deficit places him as the most unpopular Prime Minister in history. With only 18% of Britons viewing him favorably, the urgency for a change in leadership is palpable and growing.

The pivotal date of May 7, 2026, looms large on the political horizon. Local elections across the UK, including the crucial Welsh Senate, could serve as the tipping point for Starmer’s leadership. Should Labor underperform, the pressure for a leadership challenge will become irresistible.

Reports indicate that discussions among Labour MPs about replacing Starmer have already begun. The Guardian revealed that plans are actively being prepared, signaling that the party is readying itself for a potential shift in leadership. This is not mere speculation; it’s a calculated response to a dire situation.

Andy Burnham’s recent denials about plotting against Starmer have only fueled the fire. His refusal to dismiss the rumors suggests that the ambition for leadership is palpable among Labour’s ranks. Meanwhile, Shabana Mahmood’s reluctance to quash similar suggestions hints at a brewing power struggle.

As Starmer’s approval ratings continue to plummet, the internal dynamics within the Labour Party are shifting. MPs are reportedly viewing the upcoming local elections as a potential catalyst for a leadership challenge, with many believing that losing Wales would be catastrophic for Starmer’s leadership.

The January reset planned by Downing Street aims to refocus priorities, but doubts linger over its effectiveness. If the reset fails to yield positive results, the party may face an existential crisis as the May elections approach.

With the vultures circling, potential successors are already being discussed. West Streeting emerges as a front-runner, despite his denials of ambition. The political landscape is rapidly evolving, and the question of Starmer’s survival is becoming increasingly urgent.

Karaoke Invites & Jungle Sparks — The Sweet Off-Screen Story Fans Can’t Stop Talking About

Just when viewers thought the magic of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! ended at the jungle gates, Aitch and Shona McGarty have given fans a fresh reason to believe their story is far from over.

Only days after the rapper, 25, finished fourth on the ITV reality hit, he was spotted back home in Manchester getting into the festive spirit. Dressed down in a grey tracksuit and Nike trainers, Aitch — real name Harrison James Armstrong — popped into a local shop to stock up on three bottles of Southern Comfort whiskey before loading them into the boot of his £70,000 Porsche. He also picked up a festive wreath, hinting that celebrations were already underway.

The casual shopping trip may have looked harmless, but it came just as Shona, 34, finally addressed the rumours that have followed them since their emotional jungle journey together.

Speaking on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, the EastEnders actress laughed about waking up to headlines claiming she was suddenly “in a relationship” with Aitch.

“He’s great — still my little brother,” she joked at first.

But then she added the line that sent fans into meltdown.

“I invited him over for karaoke after we left the jungle and everything just happened naturally,” Shona admitted — instantly reigniting speculation that their connection may be continuing quietly away from the cameras.

She went on to explain how effortlessly they clicked.

“He’s so fun to be around. He’s just hyper — and he matched my level of hyper. He hasn’t been round for karaoke yet, but it’s on the cards.”

From Jungle Tears To Real-World Moments

Viewers first became convinced there was something special between the pair when Aitch was eliminated earlier this month. Shona, who eventually placed third, was visibly emotional as she said goodbye, later telling the Bush Telegraph:

“I had to say goodbye to Aitch today… just one more day until I see him again.”

She also revealed during her exit interview with Ant and Dec that beneath the rapper’s confident exterior, she sensed vulnerability.

“When he came in, this rapper was all bravado — but underneath I could tell he was scared of the whole experience,” she said.
“He’s very normal, down to earth. I felt like an older sister to him. I just wanted to protect him.”

     Fans Haven’t Missed A Thing

Those tender moments didn’t go unnoticed, with social media quickly lighting up:

“Shona was devastated when he left!”

“The way they hugged — so sweet!”

“Aitch and Shona together would actually be adorable.”

Now, with Aitch back in Manchester and Shona revealing karaoke plans behind the scenes, fans are convinced the jungle bond may be quietly turning into something more.

From whispered invitations to cosy catch-ups away from the cameras, it seems their story didn’t end when the jungle gates closed.

“THANK YOU AND GOODBYE…” — The whole of Australia is in tears tonight after Magda Szubanski’s shocking hospital update as she revealed that…

Australia is holding its breath tonight.

In a country that grew up laughing with her, quoting her lines, and seeing itself reflected in her fearless humor, Magda Szubanski has delivered an update so raw, so painfully honest, that it has left millions stunned — and openly weeping.

    “I thought I’d die alone.”

    Not a punchline.
    Not Sharon Strzelecki.

It was the unfiltered confession of a woman lying in a hospital bed, six months into the fight of her life.

A Confession That Shook a Nation

On November 30, 2025, Magda Szubanski posted a video that stopped Australia in its tracks.

Gone was the booming laugh. Gone was the confident physicality that defined her comedy for decades. In its place was a pale, exhausted woman — bald from chemotherapy, propped up by pillows, her eyes heavy but unwavering.

Her voice trembled as she spoke words no one expected to hear from one of the country’s strongest public figures:

“I honestly thought I’d die alone.”

Within hours, the video had amassed more than 2.5 million views, flooding social media with grief, love, and disbelief. It wasn’t just an update on her health — it was a confession of fear, isolation, and the quiet terror that creeps in during long hospital nights.

And yet, it was also something else entirely.

A reminder that even icons break.
And that vulnerability, when shared, can move an entire nation.

180 Days of Chemotherapy — And Counting

Magda’s update came after 180 relentless days of intense chemotherapy, a brutal schedule that has pushed her body to its limits.

Her diagnosis stunned fans and doctors alike.

In May 2025, what began as a routine breast screening accidentally revealed swollen lymph nodes. Further tests delivered a devastating verdict: Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma — a rare and aggressive blood cancer affecting just 1 in 100,000 Australians.

    The disease was already advanced.

“There’s no gentle way to fight this,” one oncologist familiar with such cases explained. “It’s aggressive treatment or nothing.”

    Magda chose to fight.

    The Day Everything Changed

Before cancer could strip away her identity piece by piece, Magda made a decision that would come to symbolize her defiance.

    She shaved her head.

    Not in tears.
    Not in silence.
    But on her own terms.

“It was my way of saying, ‘You don’t get to take this from me,’” she later shared.

Soon after, she was plunged into the Nordic Protocol — a punishing combination of high-dose chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The regimen is notorious among patients for its side effects: nausea, extreme fatigue, immune suppression, and emotional collapse.

    Physically, it left her shattered.

Emotionally, it forced her to confront something far more frightening than pain.

    Loneliness.

    “The Nights Are the Worst”

In private conversations with close friends, Magda has reportedly described the long hospital nights as the hardest part of her journey.

“When the machines are quiet and the ward lights dim,” one friend revealed, “that’s when the fear creeps in.”

It was during one of those nights, she says, that the thought surfaced — uninvited and devastating:

What if no one is here when it ends?

That fear became the heart of her November confession.

“I thought I’d die alone,” she said. “And that’s a terrifying thought.”

    The Love She Never Expected

What happened next was something Magda herself never saw coming.

    Australia answered.

Messages poured in by the tens of thousands. Letters arrived at the hospital. Flowers lined corridors. Celebrities, politicians, drag queens, schoolchildren, and strangers from across the globe reached out with a single message:

    You are not alone.

One moment in particular broke her.

10-year-old fan sent a photo from Book Week — dressed head to toe as Sharon Strzelecki, netball skirt and all.

“I ugly-cried,” Magda admitted. “Not because I was sad — but because I felt seen.”

From Sharon Strzelecki to a Symbol of Survival

For decades, Magda Szubanski made Australia laugh by exaggerating its quirks, its flaws, and its warmth.

Now, without intending to, she has become something else entirely.

    A symbol of resilience.

Her co-stars Gina Riley and Jane Turner, longtime collaborators and close friends, have stood firmly by her side. International performers, including drag icons who credit Magda as a trailblazer, have publicly dedicated shows to her recovery.

“She taught us how to be brave on stage,” one performer said. “Now she’s teaching us how to be brave in life.”

    #MagdaStrong Becomes a Movement

What began as a hashtag quickly transformed into action.

The #MagdaStrong campaign has raised over $250,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation, funding research, patient support services, and outreach for families facing blood cancers.

Support groups have reported a surge in engagement — patients citing Magda’s honesty as the reason they finally felt seen.

“When someone like her says she’s scared,” one patient shared, “it gives the rest of us permission to admit it too.”

The Reality of Stage 4 — And the Will to Beat It

    Statistically, the odds are sobering.

For Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma, five-year survival rates hover around 50%. Even with aggressive treatment, relapse remains a constant threat.

Magda does not shy away from the numbers.

But she refuses to let them define her.

“Cancer picked the wrong funny woman to mess with,” she declared in a recent message — a line that instantly went viral.

Doctors describe her mental resilience as “remarkable.”

“She’s exhausted,” one source said. “But she’s determined. And that matters more than people realize.”

    Redefining Strength

Magda’s journey has quietly reshaped how Australians talk about illness.

Strength, she has shown, is not pretending you’re okay.

Strength is saying you’re terrified — and still showing up.

    Bald.
    Broken-hearted.
    Alive.

“I’m not brave because I’m not scared,” she said. “I’m brave because I’m still here.”

A Precarious Christmas — And a Fragile Hope

    As Christmas approached, uncertainty loomed.

Hospital corridors replaced family tables. IV poles stood where Christmas trees should have been. Yet even there, staff reported moments of laughter — the unmistakable sound of Magda being Magda.

“She cracks jokes between treatments,” a nurse revealed. “Then she closes her eyes and rests. It’s both heartbreaking and inspiring.”

Her recovery remains ongoing. Doctors caution that the road ahead is long and unpredictable.

But tonight, for the first time in months, hope feels louder than fear.

A Nation Holding Space for One of Its Own

Australia has cried with Magda before — through comedy, through culture, through shared memory.

Now it cries with her in a different way.

    Not as an audience.

    But as a community.

Because when she whispered, “I thought I’d die alone,” the answer came back louder than she could have imagined:

    You won’t.

Medicine Heals the Body — Love Heals the Soul

As Magda Szubanski continues her fight, one truth has become undeniable.

    Chemotherapy can attack cancer.
    Doctors can save lives.
But it is human connection that carries people through the darkest hours.

And tonight, as hospital lights glow softly around her bed, one thing is certain:

    Magda is not alone.
    Not now.
    Not ever.

SHOCKING REVELATION — Carol Kirkwood Breaks Down Over Collapsed Marriage!

One of the BBC‘s most familiar faces has opened up about the private struggles she has faced off-air, which she says are world apart from her happy on-screen persona.

Carol Kirkwood, 63, who has been a staple of daytime  TV since 1997 as a weatherwoman, recently reflected on her divorce from Scottish property developer Jimmy Kirkwood back in 2008.

She says this was a particularly difficult time in her life, as despite losing the man she had been married to for 18 years, she had no option but to remain smiley on-screen.

The star told Candis magazine: ‘I’d still have to be smiling Carol on-screen.

‘I’d come off-air – we broadcast from the Blue Peter gardens in those days – go to the Ladies, have a good cry, and then reapply my eye make-up before stepping in front of the cameras again…

‘In a funny way, though, it helped with the healing process. I put my grief into a compartment that I kept separate from my work, otherwise I’d have ended up in a puddle of tears.’

Carol Kirkwood , 63, who has been a staple of daytime TV since 1997 as a weatherwoman, recently reflected on her divorce from Scottish property developer Jimmy Kirkwood in 2008

She says this was a particularly difficult time in her life, as despite losing the man she had been married to for 18 years, she had no option but to remain smiley on-screen as a BBC weatherwoman

Carol said that, in its own way, her job ‘kept her going’ as she went through the painful separation.

This is because it forced her to develop a ‘public face’ and a ‘private face’.

But while Carol’s first marriage did not work out, she went on to find love again with police officer Steve Randall, who she married in 2023.

The weatherwoman previously joked that she is ‘punching’ with her new partner.

She described him as ‘very romantic and very generous’ to PA and described him as a ‘lovely man’.

She reminisced that the early stages of their romance were ‘nice’ as they started out as friends.

When their relationship eventually turned romantic, he even turned down Carol’s offer to sell her home.

Carol told The Times: ‘I offered to sell my home so we could buy a place together, but he’s happy living here. He’s a keeper. He’s a very good cook and tidy as well, tidier than I am.’

But while Carol’s first marriage did not work out, she went on to find love again with police officer Steve Randall, who she married in 2023

At the time of their meeting, the star said she was ‘happily single’ after taking some time out of dating to ‘find herself’ following the breakdown of her almost 20-year-long marriage.

The TV personality told Saga: ‘Meeting my husband Steve was fate.

‘We were at a function neither of us wanted to go to. It was a Sliding Doors moment – if I hadn’t gone, we would never have met. We chatted, he gave me his number, and ages later, we met for coffee.’

Carol said it was ultimately a ‘shock’ when Steve proposed, despite the pair previously discussing marriage.

During the pair’s eventual wedding at Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire, the couple wrote their own vows and chose to have no guests at the ‘perfect’, private ceremony.

FROM £350-A-MONTH FLATS TO A £420K HOME — The Jaw-Dropping Rise That Changed AngryGinge’s Life Forever

How poverty, heartbreak and one mother’s sacrifices powered a bedroom streamer to rewrite his family’s future… and why this purchase means more than money.

The Twitch streamer, 24, (pictured after winning I’m A Celeb earlier this month) whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, picked up the keys to his new pad in the town of Tyldesley, Greater Manchester, in June last yearReal estate in

I’m A  Celebrity winner AngryGinge has marked one of the most emotional milestones of his life by buying his first home — a stunning £420,000 mock-Tudor newbuild in Tyldesley, Greater Manchester — after earning an astonishing £1.4million before even turning 25.

His Manchester-based estate agent Jamie Burke posted on Instagram to mark Burtwistle’s purchase, sharing an image of them shaking hands and handing over the keys in the influencer’s brand new kitchen

The Twitch sensation, real name Morgan Burtwistle, picked up the keys in June last year, completing a journey few could have imagined just a handful of years ago.

The Salford-born star has amassed more than five million followers across all social media and is understood to have earned more than £1million in the last year alone – so that left him with plenty to play with when buying the property (pictured)

His Manchester estate agent Jamie Burke shared a celebratory snap on Instagram, showing the pair shaking hands inside the influencer’s gleaming new kitchen, writing: “New home day… and a pleasure handing over the keys.”

At a price tag of £420,000, the mock Tudor newbuild boasts a bright, airy kitchen-diner (pictured), two modern high-spec bathrooms, large front and back gardens, a hot tub, covered patio, and a sweeping driveway
The living room (pictured) is comfortable and cosy, with a charming fireplace The living room (pictured) is comfortable and cosy, with a charming fireplace

The Salford-born star now boasts more than five million followers across social media and is believed to have earned over £1million in the last year alone — a rise that left him able to invest in a three-bedroom, high-spec family home complete with two luxury bathrooms, expansive front and back gardens, a hot tub, covered patio and sweeping driveway.

Burtwistle (left) has spoken candidly about his upbringing on a council estate in Eccles, Greater Manchester, where he and his sister Tasha (centre), 27, were raised by their single mother Michelle (right), 50. Pictured: An old family photo

But for Burtwistle, the house is not a flex.

He opened up about his childhood on I’m A Celeb, saying: ‘We’ve got no problems getting our hands stuck in, because that’s what we’ve had to do from being little to where we are now’. Pictured: The hot tub and garden at the home he has bought with his social media earnings

He has spoken openly about growing up on a council estate in Eccles with his sister Tasha, raised by their single mum Michelle, who juggled school kitchen shifts, cleaning and care work to earn just £12,500 a year.

He heaped praise on his mother, who worked tirelessly to support the family while he was growing up: ‘If she can do it then I can do this in the jungle, so that’s what keeps me going really’. Pictured: The hallway of the home he has been able to buy with his online earnings
AngryGinge grew to prominence on the live streaming platform, Twitch, on which his five million followers watch him shout expletives at a video or football gameFamily games

Inside the jungle, he told campmates how his mum would go straight from one job to the next without rest.
“If she can do it, then I can do this,” he said. “That’s what keeps me going.”

That determination was forged in hardship.

At 18, desperate to ease the financial pressure at home, Burtwistle moved in with his grandmother before renting what he brutally described as a “s***hole” flat — no shower, mould on the walls, peeling wallpaper and even a broken door handle — all for £350 a month.

Followers joked it looked more like a pub than a home.

Just five years ago, he was earning £450 a month working as a school “dinner lady”. He nearly quit Twitch altogether after months of low viewership — until tragedy struck in 2021 when his grandfather died from Covid.

Burtwistle’s success will be much to the chagrin of his ‘dead-beat dad’, truck driver Lee Smith (pictured), who walked out on him when he was a youngster

He returned to streaming with renewed focus, broadcasting up to ten hours a day, turning his first £12.44 FIFA livestream into a monthly income that soon exploded into thousands.

Two years ago, he used prize money from a streamed football event to wipe out all of his mum’s debts.

The star has previously opened up about what his I’m A Celeb win meant to him: ‘I wanted my mum to know how well she did raising us and how much I do appreciate everything that she did’. Pictured: The pair together after his victory The star has previously opened up about what his I’m A Celeb win meant to him: ‘I wanted my mum to know how well she did raising us and how much I do appreciate everything that she did’. “I just wanted her to know how well she did raising us,” he said after winning I’m A  Celebrity. “How much I appreciate everything she’s done.”

After his I’m A Celebrity win, AngryGinge reflected on his life just five years ago, where he was working as a school ‘dinner lady’ and earning just £450 a month.

That devotion stands in stark contrast to his fractured relationship with his father, truck driver Lee Smith, whom Burtwistle has described as a “dead-beat dad” after he walked out on the family during his childhood.

BREAKING Katie Price SPLITS from JJ Slater after nearly two years together. Insiders say the cracks were “𝔱𝔬𝔬 𝔬𝔟𝔳𝔦𝔬𝔲𝔰 𝔱𝔬 𝔦𝔤𝔫𝔬𝔯𝔢”… despite public claims they were stronger than ever.

Katie Price has split from boyfriend JJ Slater after almost two years together, the Daily Mail can reveal.

The former glamour model, 47, ended the romance after realising she didn’t see a future with the former reality star, 14 years her junior.

Insiders say cracks in their relationship had become ‘too obvious to ignore’ in recent months, despite Katie insisting they were going strong.

The mother-of-five has now accepted their romance has run its course, and JJ, 32, will not become husband number four.

They began dating in February 2024, after JJ rose to fame on E4’s Married At First Sight UK.

Katie even spoke of having a child together, her sixth, but in the end, it wasn’t meant to be.

A source revealed: ‘Katie has had doubts for some time about whether JJ is husband material, but she hoped those concerns would fade.

‘Instead, her fears only grew, and she’s now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time.

‘JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex.

‘He genuinely saw a future with Katie, but it seems she ultimately had a very different outlook.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Katie and JJ’s representatives for comment.

Katie began dating JJ in 2024, shortly after her split from former fiancé Carl Woods, her eighth engagement.

Fashion entrepreneur JJ had appeared on the 2023 series of Married At First Sight UK, where he made headlines for dating transgender bride Ella Morgan despite marrying another contestant during the experiment.

The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance, including a skiing trip to Bulgaria, with JJ later talking up the prospect of marriage.

The reality star supported Katie through a number of health scares in recent months, as fans voiced concern over her increasingly skinny and gaunt appearance

In April 2024, JJ broke his silence on his new relationship with Katie, admitting he wished it had been her he married when he appeared on the E4 dating series.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: ‘It would have been ideal on Married At First Sight if I was at the altar and I turned around and it was Kate walking down. It would have saved a lot of time.

‘We have said the L word. The thing is we get on so well and have so much fun together.

‘All I really want to do is make sure Kate is happy, support her, and be there for her, her being happy means I’m doing something right.

‘We are both adults and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t see a future with them. So, that’s how I see it… we aren’t together to waste each other’s time… we are adults so of course, I see a future with her.’

Katie has been married three times, to singer Peter Andre, 52, with whom she shares children Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, former cage fighter Alex Reid, 50, and personal trainer Kieran Hayler, 38, the father of her youngest two children, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 10.

She is also mother to son Harvey, 23, whom she shares with footballer Dwight Yorke, 54. Harvey has septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness and growth hormone deficiency, as well as Prader-Willi syndrome, ADHD and autism.

JJ supported Katie through a number of health scares in recent months, as fans voiced concern over her increasingly skinny and gaunt appearance and her continued fixation with cosmetic surgery.

Katie has spoken openly in recent months about her ‘unexplained’ weight loss, telling followers she has been undergoing medical investigations

Katie has spoken openly in recent months about her ‘unexplained’ weight loss, telling followers she has been undergoing medical investigations to determine the cause of her noticeably slimmer frame.

She has yet to reveal any diagnosis to fans – or whether one has been found at all.

However, in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail ahead of Christmas, her son Junior Andre insisted his mother is coping well behind closed doors.

He said: ‘To be honest, people don’t know her like we know her. She is doing great, she’s so loving and we love her so much. I’m round her house all the time.’

Junior added that public scrutiny no longer affects their family, saying: ‘People will always say what they want, but they don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors.’

He concluded: ‘We’re all great and probably in the best place we’ve ever been.’

BREAKING — Arrest warrant issued for West Wing actor Timothy Busfield over alleged child 𝖘.𝖊.𝖝 abuse on TV set

An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Timothy Busfield for allegedly inappropriately touching a minor on a TV show set.

The Emmy award-winning actor, 68, is best known for his roles in The West Wing and Field of Dreams, and has been married to Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert since 2013.

Busfield, who has three children with two of his ex wives, is facing two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.

According to a warrant for his arrest, an investigation into Busfield was opened in November 2024 when staff at the University of New Mexico Hospital called police and reported children potentially being groomed on the set of the TV show ‘The Cleaning Lady’, which Busfield directs.

An officer reportedly spoke with the parents of two child actors on the set of the show, and Busfield allegedly ‘grew closer to the boys’ during their time on set, per a criminal complaint filed last week in New Mexico.

Busfield allegedly told the children ‘to call him Uncle Tim’, and the criminal complaint said he ‘would tickle them on the stomach and legs, despite them not liking the tickling.’

The children did not allege sexual touching at the time, but in October 2025 one of the parents reported to Child Protective Services that her child disclosed alleged sexual abuse by Busfield.

The child told a therapist that Busfield touched his ‘genitalia’ and ‘bottom’ while in a bedroom on the set of the TV show, according to the affidavit first reported by KTLA.

According to the affidavit, Busfield told an officer that he had ‘playful’ contact with the children on his set, but denied any wrongdoing.

He allegedly suggested that the allegations were due to the parents wanting ‘revenge’ on him after their children were not asked back for the show’s final season.

According to a complaint filed in Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, the alleged abuse occurred between November 2022 and spring 2024. A warrant has been issued for Busfield’s arrest in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, and no court or jail records indicate he has been taken into custody.

At least one of the children in the case was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder following the alleged abuse, according to the complaint.

Busfield did not respond when contacted for comment on Friday night.

The actor has been married to Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert since 2013.

Gilbert shot to fame as a child in the 1960s, and went on to become one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood, including serving as president of the Screen Actors Guild from 2001 to 2005.

Following a stint on Dancing with the Stars in 2012, Gilbert ran for Congress in Michigan’s 8th Congressional District three years later, but after becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee she dropped out of the race, citing health issues.

The pair celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in April 2025, and Gilbert said in a social media post at the time that their marriage was ‘perfect.’

’12 years of true partnership, love, laughter, compassion, commitment, passion, laughter, cooking, kids, grandchildren, chickens, dogs, creating homes, films, plays, television. 12 years of writing together, traveling, cuddling, delicious meals, romantic getaways, spooning, reflecting, meditating, praying,’ she wrote.

Gilbert told PEOPLE that they tied the knot soon after beginning their relationship, saying that ‘it just seemed right and inevitable’ that she would marry Busfield after their first date.

‘It sounds cliché to say it, but it really was like getting hit with a thunderbolt,’ she said. ‘The next morning when I woke up, my first thought was, ‘I’m going to marry him,’ and then my next thought was, ‘You’re a crazy person.”

Gilbert said her relationship with Busfield was ‘the easiest’ she had ever been in.

‘It’s all of the good things that a relationship should be,’ she said.

‘There is rarely drama, and if there is drama, it’s not caused by us. It comes from outside, and we handle it in a much different way.’

She described their relationship last year: ‘We have respect for one another’s opinions, respect for one another’s pasts, respect for one another’s abilities and this tacit agreement that we never really discussed that just happened, that we are partners in everything, in every decision, in every idea, in every move.

‘We are one in making those decisions, and neither one of us is better at anything than the other or greater than anything than the other.’

“WE’LL FIGHT THIS ALL THE WAY” — 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘭 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 explodes as 𝐿𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑟’𝑠 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑥𝑖𝑡 reset sparks a legal showdown. Court action, delayed elections, and claims of power being handed back to Brussels… is this the start of a political wąr?

Nigel Farage tonight vowed to fight Labour‘s Brexit reset ‘all the way’.

The Reform UK leader said Keir Starmer‘s latest attempts to cosy up to the EU would ‘solve none of our economic problems’ and instead hand sovereignty to ‘unelected EU bureaucrats’.

Mr Farage also revealed Reform is ready to go to court next week to challenge Labour’s attempts to postpone a string of local elections.

His comments came as a leading ally of Sir Keir said the Prime Minister could take the UK ‘very close’ to rejoining the single market, despite Labour’s manifesto pledge not to reverse Brexit.

Sir Keir sparked a storm at the weekend by telling the BBC that he was looking at better access to the single market.

‘I think we should get closer and if it’s in our national interest to have even closer alignment with the single market, then we should consider that,’ he said.

‘If it’s in our interest to do so, we should take that step.’

Mr Farage hit back tonight – warning that Sir Keir’s attempts to reverse Brexit would damage Britain and backfire on Labour at the ballot box.

Speaking at a major rally at London’s Excel centre, Mr Farage pointed to the declining influence of the EU on a world stage now dominated by Donald Trump and Xi Jinping.

Ms Cunningham pictured firing t-shirts into the crowd at the rally as Mr Farage watches on. He also revealed Reform is ready to go to court next week to challenge Labour’s attempts to postpone a string of local elections

Mr Farage warned that Labour risks damaging Britain by cosying up to Brussels

He accused Sir Keir of gearing up for a ‘Brexit betrayal’, adding: ‘Bit by bit, he is taking away the ability, not just of parliament to make decisions, but of your rights as voters to decide who should take those decisions.

‘And I promise you, we will fight this giveaway, this surrender of our sovereignty, of our money, of our fishing grounds and everything else. We’ll fight it tooth and nail. We’ll fight it all the way.’

Earlier, he told the Mail: ‘Everything that’s happening internationally proves the increasing irrelevance of the EU.

‘Economically much of it is doing even worse than we are and yet a failing Prime Minister is reverting to type and signing us up to closer union.

‘It will solve none of our economic problems and once again take away power from British voters and hand it to unelected EU bureaucrats.’

Mr Farage also revealed that Reform is poised to launch a judicial review against government plans to allow dozens of councils to delay local elections in May.

The deadline for councils to accept the offer is next Wednesday and Mr Farage was ‘primed and ready’ to go to court the following day.

We now learn that up to 10 million people may be deprived of their vote, in some cases for the second year in a row. These are the actions not just of the Labour government, but with the connivance in some counties of the Conservatives and the Lib Dems.

‘Denying elections is the behaviour of a Banana Republic.’

Tonight’s rally in London was designed to launch Reform’s local election campaign in the capital – and provide a springboard for outspoken councillor Laila Cunningham, who was unveiled this week as the party’s candidate to take on Sadiq Khan for the London mayoralty in 2028.

The Mail revealed last month that Mr Farage is bidding to end the capital’s historic status as a no-go zone for Reform by focusing on tackling crime. He is targeting potential wins in six of London’s councils in the local elections in May.

Ms Cunningham told the rally: ‘London, one of the greatest cities in the world, is no longer a safe city. And that doesn’t happen by chance – that happened on Sadiq Khan’s watch.’

Sir Keir Starmer is working with European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen on a Brexit reset which allies say could take the UK ‘very close’ to the single market

Reform supporters fly the flag at tonight’s rally

Reform’s Laila Cunningham hopes to make a breakthrough in London by focusing on crime

She pledged to be  a ‘new sheriff in town’, adding: ‘I will launch an all-out war on crime. And those rape gangs that have been ignored – they will have nowhere to hide.

‘It will be a reckoning. Every single person who let those girls down… there will be a reckoning for them. There will be nowhere to hide.’

But Reform sources said Mr Farage also wanted to take the opportunity to highlight the risks posed by Labour’s lurch to Brussels.

Ministers have already signed up to follow EU rules in areas like food and farming in return for easier access to the single market.

Legislation due in the coming weeks will introduce so-called ‘dynamic alignment’, meaning that UK laws will automatically be updated in line with new EU regulations. The process will apply initially to food, farming and the electricity market, where agreements on better access have already been reached. But the legislation is expected to give ministers powers to extend the practice to a range of other areas.

Sir Keir’s biographer Tom Baldwin, who acts as an unofficial adviser to the PM, yesterday said Labour’s Brexit reset could now go much further than originally planned.

He told the Politico website that the PM’s recent comments ”opened up a whole range of possibilities’.

‘At the upper end, it suggests Labour may seek a second term mandate at the next election by which the UK would get very close to rejoining the single market.

‘That would be worth a lot more in terms of economic growth and national prosperity than the customs union deal favoured by the Lib Dems.’

Brussels sources have been making clear the government will have to ‘pay to play’ if Labour wants to remove more barriers., with the UK potentially handing over billions of pounds a year as well as agreeing to follow EU laws in which it will have no say.
