British vigilantes slash small migrant boats on French coastline

Britons have been filming themselves travelling to beaches in France and ‘destroying’ small boats – gaining thousands of views in the process

Sanya Burgess is an award-winning journalist whose investigations have included revealing Deliveroo was not paying the living wage to all riders, despite the company’s pledge to do so. She has also tracked disinformation and far right hate speech in the UK during the Southport riots, conspiracy theories about the attempted shooting of Donald Trump and revealed that Elon Musk was paying some of Tommy Robinson’s legal fees. She has also worked on issues relating to Big Tech and underage gambling, as well as uncovering war crimes and human rights abuses in Iran, Myanmar and the UAE – including the ‘hostage’ tapes of the detained Dubai Princess Latifa.
British vigilantes who spearheaded efforts to fly England flags across the country have launched a new anti-migrant protest – attempting to block illegal Channel crossings.

Using the term “Operation Stop The Boats”, members of the group have been filming themselves slashing small boats before they are used by migrants to cross the English Channel from France.

Posts on social media show members calling for other British men to join them in France, including making a direct appeal to football hooligans, saying “we need to make a stand”.

In one video message shared this week by a member of the Raise the Colours group – the grassroots movement that has seen flags fixed to lampposts, motorway bridges and roundabouts across England – two men are seen evoking military language and the spirit of the British fight against the Nazis in the Second World War.

Claiming to be recording from the northern French coast, one said: “Just like in the 1940s, we must take a stand, and it starts with the men of England and Britain.”

Making an appeal to “firms” – a phrase that refers to football hooligan groups – the other man added: “Our country is doing nothing. Weak government, weaker borders.

“They are doing nothing, so we need to make a stand, boys. Get the lads together, get your firms together, get the lads in the pub, get the lads down the bars, if you’re talking about it and you agree with what we are doing, give us a hand.”

The Government is under pressure to tackle the issue of migration amid a record number of asylum applications, surging small boat crossings and protests at hotels housing asylum seekers.

On Monday, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood set out a package of reforms to asylum policies aimed at tackling illegal migration, telling MPs the current situation is “out of control and unfair”.

The latest videos shared by those linked to the Raise the Colours group have separately been referred to as “Operation Overlord”.

Earlier clips showed two men saying they were taking matters of illegal migration into their own hands and filming themselves stamping on and smashing a small boat’s engine.

In the clips, they refer to themselves as “patriots” and make a number of claims without evidence, such as that they are stopping “rapists and murderers” from “coming to a town near you”.

The flag-raising group, who have a combined 100,000 followers on X and Instagram, also posted a plea on X for donations last week, writing that they are: “STOPPING The Boats, whether the migrants or government like it or not!”

Two videos from the group have recently been shared to the 1.7 million X followers of Tommy Robinson. The far-right figure and former leader of the English Defence League, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has previously been accused of mobilising football hooligan firms in an attempt to launch anti-Muslim rallies across the country.

Separately, French media reports that the Dunkirk Public Prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into “aggravated violence” against migrants by suspected British far-right figures.

One of the details being examined by the French prosecutor is the claim that in September, four men waving British and UK flags verbally and physically attacked migrants on the French coast. It is alleged that they told the migrants they were not welcome in England and proceeded to steal some of their belongings.

The men are not the first anti-migrant figures to travel to France in a bid to take matters into their own hands.

In September, Ukip, Nigel Farage’s former political party, posted a video to their X account showing what appeared to be sleeping migrants in France being woken by people flashing strobe lights in their faces and shouting at them.

Nick Tenconi, Ukip’s current leader, also posted a video captioned: “In Calais hunting for illegal invaders trying to cross into Britain.”

  • George Clarke Breaks Down Ahead of Strictly Final as His Emotional Journey Moves the Nation.

George Clarke Breaks Down Ahead of Strictly Final as His Emotional Journey Moves the Nation.

The night before the biggest performance of his life, George Clarke wasn’t thinking about trophies, scores or headlines. He was trying — and failing — to hold himself together.

The 26-year-old finalist broke down during a deeply moving appearance on It Takes Two, just hours before the Strictly Come Dancing grand final. Sitting alongside professional partner Alexis Warr, George became visibly overwhelmed after producers played messages from his family — a moment that stripped away any remaining sense of showbiz polish.

Unable to speak, he wiped away tears and quietly apologised. “Sorry… this is awful of me,” he said, his voice breaking — not from nerves, but from the weight of everything the journey has carried.

George admitted he has deliberately avoided thinking about the final, explaining that the scale of the moment has triggered a sense of imposter syndrome. For him, reaching this point already feels surreal — and he’s openly worried about the emotional crash that may come once the Strictly bubble bursts.

Viewers felt it instantly. Social media flooded with raw reactions as fans confessed they were crying along with him, praising his honesty, humility and vulnerability. “I’m emotional for George,” one wrote. Another added: “Please don’t cry — I can’t cope.” A third summed it up simply: “He is so loved.”

While bookmakers have tipped Karen Carney as the likely winner, George’s impact has long surpassed odds and leaderboards. His journey has been fuelled not by ambition, but by something far more personal: a promise to make his mother proud.

That devotion became unmistakable in week eight, when George performed an emotional rhumba dedicated to his mum, Nicky, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The routine — described by many as a “love letter in motion” — reduced George and his family to tears and marked the moment the wider Strictly audience truly embraced him.

Speaking candidly, George has never hidden how deeply his mother’s diagnosis has affected him. He admits her illness now dominates family life, describing her as someone who has endured far more than she ever deserved. And this isn’t the first time she’s fought her way back — when George was just 16, she survived encephalitis after suffering a seizure, an experience that left him traumatised but in awe of her resilience.

Despite his growing fame, George’s path to the final has been anything but conventional. With no professional dance background, friends say his only previous dancing took place at university socials. That lack of training has only heightened admiration for his progress — especially as fellow finalists have faced criticism for their prior stage or performance experience.

Outside the ballroom, George boasts a vast online following — 2.4 million on TikTok and close to a million across Instagram and YouTube — and Strictly insiders believe his appeal to younger audiences could mark a turning point for the long-running show. But those closest to him say his grounded nature comes from upbringing, not algorithms.

Raised in Bristol, privately educated and university-trained, George has often chosen effort over shortcuts — even with a father in a senior role at Aardman Animations. Supporting him every step of the way is his girlfriend, model Yasmin Bennett, whom George credits with believing in him “more than I ever believed in myself.”

As for what comes next, industry whispers suggest this may only be the beginning. New television opportunities are already being discussed, and many believe George is on the cusp of becoming a breakout star beyond social media.

But on this night, none of that mattered.

Because whether or not he lifts the Glitterball, George Clarke has already won something far more meaningful — the hearts of the public, and the pride of the woman whose courage inspired every step he took on the Strictly dancefloor.

STRICTLY BOMBSHELL: Tess Daly Fights Tears After Vernon’s Heartbreaking Surprise Message! 😭💔

Tess Daly appeared on The One Show ahead of her Strictly exit

Strictly Come Dancing star Tess Daly had to fight tears after receiving a surprise message from her husband Vernon Kay just days before her exit from the BBC dancing competition.

On Saturday night (December 20) Tess and Claudia Winkleman will mark their final time presenting the main Strictly show together after they announced their departures in October. No replacement for the duo have been revealed as the likes of Holly Willoughby, Bradley Walsh and Alison Hammond have been linked to the roles.

Announcing their exit news, Tess and Claudia said in a joint statement at the time: “We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream. We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time.

“We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day. We will cry when we say the last ‘keep dancing’ but we will continue to say it to each other. Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza.”

Big explosion at nursing home leaves two dead as residents ‘trapped inside’

Long-overdue bike lanes will be ripped up three months after being laid – and that was ‘always the plan’

However, Tess and Claudia’s final Strictly outing will arrive on Christmas Day for the annual pre-recorded Christmas special. Taking part on it this year is Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, All Saints singer Melanie Blatt, Gladiator Jodie Ounsley, EastEnders actor Nicholas Bailey, comedian Babatunde Aléshé and Westlife’s Brian McFadden.

On Wednesday evening (December 17), Tess appeared on The One Show to speak to Alex Jones and Clara Amfo about how she feels to be leaving the programme she’s been a part of since its debut year all the way back in 2004, when she was joined by the late Bruce Forsyth

Vernon Kay paid tribute to his wife Tess Daly on The One Show

“It was so special, I was pinching myself to even be in the same room with him, I could barely make eye contact, I was so intimidated by this legend that I grew up watching on telly. To work with him was so special because he was generous.

“He’d share his stories and teach me about live television, he’d say ‘don’t worry darling, they’ll forgive you, it’s live telly, just embrace it’. He was just so kind, wise and wonderful to work with,” she noted.

Having her say on Claudia, Tess stated: “We’re on the Christmas Day show, but we pre-recorded it. We’ll both be thinking about that moment [the final link]. It can be mayhem when you’re finding out who’s the winner…

“It’s about them, but if I catch Claudia’s eye I might go because it’s the last time. I love to bits and we had the best time. It’s just been wonderful.”

Alex then revealed that Claudia sent in a special message for Tess, in it she said: “What do I love most about working with you, everything. We laugh, you just have my back and I’m so lucky I got to work on the best Saturday night show with you. You’re my friend for life. I will be less orange, but we will still be together.”

Already feeling emotional by Claudia’s video, Alex went on to reveal that Tess’ husband Vernon had also sent in a message. Prior to playing it, Alex teased that he was ‘very hard to track down’.

“21 years as the host of Strictly Come Dancing. It’s been quite the ride. We started off with Sir Bruce Forsyth and we finished with Claudia Winkleman MBE. It’s given us so much joy and two kids, let’s not forget that.

“Congratulations on everything you’ve done on the show. You really have embedded yourself in the hearts of the nation. There have been some spectacular moments, you have been an absolute joy. It does genuinely feel like we’re losing a very, very close friend. I have no doubt that you and I will keep dancing,” Vernon said.

Becoming teary-eyed, Tess proceeded to explain how her and Vernon’s relationship has changed in the two decades she’s hosted Strictly. Their first child Phoebe was born in 2004, the year Strictly started, while Amber was welcomed into the world in 2009.

“It’s all they’ve known their whole life. It has been like another family, over a third of the year they’ve lost me to Strictly for the weekend. They haven’t minded because they’ve loved the show and they feel like they’re a part of it…

“It will be different for them too, it’s all they’ve ever known. They’re excited to come along and see it, it will be special having them there. It will be a full circle moment for me because I was pregnant in series one and here we are in the final together. If I catch Phoebe’s eye, I’m going to go. It will be quite emotional because they’ve been part of it,” she said.

  • “I Just Need Her to Know She’s Not Alone” – Steve’s Heartfelt Words About Sue’s Struggle

“I Just Need Her to Know She’s Not Alone” – Steve’s Heartfelt Words About Sue’s Struggle

By the sofa where Britain first fell in love with them, Steve Sheehan now sits with a very different weight in his heart.

For years, he and his wife Sue have been the easy laughter of Gogglebox — the couple whose warmth made millions feel like family. But behind the familiar armchairs and quick jokes, Steve has been fighting a battle no camera ever captured.

The moment Sue’s smile began to fade, everything changed.

“When Bell’s palsy arrived, it didn’t knock politely,” Steve says quietly. “It just took a part of her away overnight. The woman who never stopped smiling suddenly couldn’t recognise herself in the mirror. And there was nothing I could do to fix it.”

    Except stay.

Steve doesn’t talk about heroics. He talks about mornings. About learning new routines, brushing past his own fear so Sue wouldn’t see it in his eyes. About sitting in hospital waiting rooms pretending to read leaflets he’d already memorised, just so she wouldn’t feel watched or pitied.

“There were days she’d say, ‘I don’t look like me anymore,’” he recalls. “And all I could think was, how do I make her feel beautiful when she can’t see it herself?

So he did the only thing he knew how to do.

He made tea she didn’t ask for. He cracked the same tired jokes he’s told for decades. He held her face gently when she didn’t want to look in the mirror — not to make her change, but to remind her that the woman he married was still right there.

“I wasn’t scared of the illness,” Steve admits. “I was scared of her feeling alone in it.”

Friends say Steve became Sue’s shadow — driving her to appointments, keeping the house light when the days were heavy, pretending recovery was a series of tiny wins rather than a long road he couldn’t see the end of.

But Steve never frames it as sacrifice.

“This is marriage,” he shrugs. “It’s not the vows. It’s the Tuesday mornings when your heart is breaking and you still have to make someone laugh.”

Now, as Sue takes each day as it comes, Steve remains on the same sofa, same seat, same promise.

“I don’t need her to be better tomorrow,” he says softly. “I just need her to know she’s not walking through this by herself. If I can be the one thing that doesn’t change for her, then I’ve done my job.”

In a world obsessed with grand gestures, Steve Sheehan’s love is quieter than most.

    But it’s also unbreakable.

  • Cliff Richard shocks daytime TV by abruptly leaving Loose Women after tense exchange with Denise Welch, sparking nationwide debate and social media uproar 😱🔥

Cliff Richard shocks daytime TV by abruptly leaving Loose Women after tense exchange with Denise Welch, sparking nationwide debate and social media uproar 😱🔥

    Introduction:

In the world of live television, unexpected moments are inevitable. But few incidents have ever unfolded with the raw intensity of the now-infamous confrontation between Sir Cliff Richard and Loose Women host Denise Welch—a moment that turned a routine promotional interview into a televised flashpoint that viewers would replay and analyze for days.

When Cliff Richard stepped onto the set that morning, he carried with him the grace and experience earned over six decades in the spotlight. The audience welcomed him warmly. The atmosphere felt familiar—bright lights, friendly faces, the usual blend of casual chatter and anticipation. For Cliff, this was simply another stop on a press tour he had navigated effortlessly for years.

Yet from the moment he took his seat, something felt off. Denise Welch greeted him with a smile that never fully softened, and an unmistakable tension hung in the air. Still, Cliff remained poised, ready to discuss his new album, his upcoming tour, and the music that continued to inspire audiences around the world.

The conversation began smoothly. Cliff spoke passionately about his creative process, the stories behind the songs, the joy he still found in performing. But the tone shifted abruptly when Denise interrupted him mid-sentence with a question that stunned both the studio and the viewers at home: “Who exactly is still listening to this kind of music? Surely your audience has long moved on.”

A hush fell over the room. Cliff—the consummate professional—responded with calm dignity, explaining that his concerts still sold out, his fans remained loyal, and music, no matter the decade, has lasting value. But Denise pressed on, her questions turning colder, her tone edging from provocative into personal. She suggested his moment had passed, dismissed his career longevity, and implied he clung to a bygone era.

With each exchange, the tension grew sharper. Panelists shifted uncomfortably. The audience recoiled. Yet Cliff remained composed, meeting disrespect with steadiness. Only when it became clear that the conversation had veered into hostility did he reach his limit.

Removing his microphone with quiet resolve, he stood. “A conversation requires mutual respect,” he said, his voice unwavering. “And you’ve made it clear you have none for me.” Moments later, he walked off the set—leaving behind a stunned audience, scrambling producers, and a host forced to confront the consequences of her own words.

The fallout was immediate. Clips flooded social media. Thousands weighed in. Many praised Cliff for his grace under pressure, applauding his refusal to tolerate disrespect masquerading as honesty. Others questioned the growing trend of aggressive interviewing—when “being real” crosses the line into cruelty.

In the end, Cliff Richard didn’t raise his voice. He didn’t retaliate. He simply walked away—a reminder that dignity is sometimes the strongest response of all. And in doing so, he turned a 34-second insult into a powerful lesson in respect, professionalism, and the enduring strength of character.

  • Why Did La Voix Really Quit Strictly? She Finally Breaks Her Silence — and the Truth Isn’t What Fans Expected!

Why Did La Voix Really Quit Strictly? She Finally Breaks Her Silence — and the Truth Isn’t What Fans Expected!

Strictly Come Dancing’s La Voix has broke her silence on cynical fans’ conspiracy theory that she faked her injury to get out of performing this week on spin-off show It Takes Two.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that the Drag Race star, 45, real name Christopher Dennis, was forced to drop out of the upcoming Blackpool special this weekend after suffering an injury.

While chatting with Janette Manrara, 42, alongside his dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 35, on the popular spin-off on Thursday, La Voix said: ‘This has been ongoing since the foxtrot.

‘I felt a little niggle in my foot, hence comments about me being flat-footed. I was thinking this will be fine, but it got gradually worse.

‘Until, on Saturday, we had to change shoes. I couldn’t wear heels. I had to wear those awful flat shoes.

‘We tried on Monday and it was really clear I was struggling, in pain, so we decided to be professional and call this, hoping with some rest I can be back.’

Strictly Come Dancing’s La Voix has broke her silence on the conspiracy theory about why she REALLY dropped out of show and also shared an injury update on It Takes Two earlier this week

While chatting with Janette Manrara, 42, alongside his dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 35, on the popular spin-off earlier this week, La Voix opened up about the injury

A day later La Voix took to Instagram to share an update with fans.

She said: ‘Good morning my darlings.

‘As I’m looking on social media and everyone is on their way to Blackpool, I am off for an MRI scan to see what is actually going on with my foot.

‘I have a bone bruise, which is basically from the repetition of being in the heels and it’s on where my toe joins my foot.

‘It’s like a deep bone bruise, which basically if I keep working on could become a stress fracture.

‘Which obviously means a broken foot which is six to eight weeks off my foot in a boot.

‘Which would be awful, so luckily they’ve caught it up before it has got to that stage.

‘And as I said on It Takes Two to the physio team, the whole of the BBC Strictly team have been amazing.

La Voix said: ‘This has been ongoing since the foxtrot. ‘I felt a little niggle in my foot, hence comments about me being flat-footed. I was thinking this will be fine, but it got gradually worse’

‘I’ve had MRIs, I’ve had X-rays, I’ve had physio, and that’s all carrying on today.

‘So I’ve got my very attractive boot on and I’m basically just icing and keeping my foot elevated and resting as much as I can.’

Luckily La Voix and dance partner Aljaž will be able to continue in the competition due to the show rules.

It’s this loophole in the competition that some fans accused La Voix of taking advantage of, with one complaining: ‘Well that’s one way to avoid the dance off… doesn’t seem fair to me.’

Another echoed: ‘Probs being harsh but seems like they reward you for getting injured if you automatically sail through.’

While a third jeered: ‘And just when you were favourite to go next… hmmmm.’

On Tuesday it was reported that she was ‘devastated and heartbroken’ after being advised by doctors to rest and focus on recovery.

Speaking in a statement, the Drag Race star said: ‘It is with immense sadness that I have to withdraw from this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing shows in Blackpool.

‘Due to an injury, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to perform, and my heart truly breaks knowing I won’t be dancing in such an iconic venue.

‘Aljaž and I have worked incredibly hard, and we were so excited to share our routine with everyone.

‘I am devastated not to be joining the rest of the cast on that famous dancefloor, but my focus now is on recovery. I’ll be cheering on all the amazing couples this weekend.’

Luckily La Voix and dance partner Aljaž will be able to continue in the competition due to the show rules

‘In line with the rules of Strictly Come Dancing, La Voix and Aljaž will receive a bye through to next week when it is hoped they will be able to dance again.

‘We wish La Voix the very best for a speedy recovery.’

Strictly Come Dancing will continue this weekend from Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom with six competing couples.

La Voix and their professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec closed last week’s show with their Couple’s Choice.

They performed to ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’ by Barbra Streisand.

Once again the judges ‘loved it’, praising the performer’s stage presence before marking a respectable 33 out of 40.

Ahead of the performance La Voix left viewers emotional as she tearfully opened up about her beloved mother’s recent death.

The TV personality said her ‘world had gone’ in a moment following the ‘unexpected’ passing.

Ahead of her performance with pro partner Aljaž the entertainer paid a visit to ‘immensely supportive’ father Richard, who previously appeared with her on RuPaul‘s Drag Race UK, as they reflected on the recent loss.

Choking back tears, she said: ‘My mum was the same as my dad, equally supportive, she was there at every single show. I lost her in April this year so its only what 7/8 months.

‘I did a massive West End show in London and she wasn’t well and I remember I’d gone from 1500 people clapping and cheering to the next day, just your world’s gone.’

Elsewhere, Strictly Come Dancing fans were left concerned after Vicky Pattison and pro partner Kai Widdrington were absent from It Takes Two on Monday.

The reality star, 38, became the seventh celebrity booted from the show on Sunday and missed a place in this week’s Blackpool special after losing the dreaded dance-off against EastEnders‘ Balvinder Sopal, 46, and Julian Caillon, 30.

Strictly’s latest evictee always appear on spin-off It Takes Two every Monday to discuss their exit and time in the competition, but this week host Fleur East revealed Vicky and Kai were not there.

She said: ‘This weekend we sadly said goodbye to Vicky and Kai. They can’t be with us tonight but will be joining us later on in the week.’

Following Fleur’s announcement fans rushed to X asking: ”No Vicky & Kai on It Takes Two tonight, hope thinks are ok’: ‘Where are Vicky and Kai?’: ‘Unusual to not have the departed couple on It Takes Two of a Monday, legit can’t remember this occurring before’: Wonder why the last minute change and no Vicky.’

Vicky went on to appear on the show on Wednesday 19 November.

Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing is set to make history with a brand new format from the end of November that will challenge the remaining couples.

Instant Dance will see each couple pick a dance style at random from ones they have learnt in the competition so far.

They will then be played their accompanying music and – after a frantic dash through wardrobe to select and change into their costumes – each couple will have just 10 seconds on the countdown clock to decide exactly how they’re going to dance it.

Once all six Strictly couples have danced, the judges will rank them and award their extra marks accordingly.

Then, a maximum of six marks will be awarded to the couple whose Instant Dance performance impressed them the most, right down to one point for the couple whose dance impressed them the least.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said: ‘Instant Dance has the power to change everything for our couples, and will challenge them in ways they have never been challenged before.

‘With standards so incredibly high this year and the competition so close, there’s a lot resting on it.

‘The dance styles, costumes and music might not be revealed until the night, but what we can be sure of right now is that it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. I cannot wait!’

The exciting new format will take place towards the end of the month – Saturday 29 to be exact – once all six remaining couples have danced in the usual way.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One and is available to stream on iPlayer.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is returning tonight for more laughs and creepy crawlies. Viewers will get to tune into another Bushtucker trial as Ant and Dec announced Eddie Kadi had been voted by the public for tonight’s underwater-based A-Scare-ium trial.

In a preview for the nail-biting challenge, the TV funnyman is seen screaming as everything goes horribly wrong. But ITV viewers will have to watch Wednesday’s episode to find out how how the comedian will fare in his first ever trial.

His pal Babatunde Alishe previously told The Sun that Eddie would quit any trial he was given within just a few minutes. “Eddie confessed to me how scared he is of the whole experience and I was shocked,” the former campmate told the publication.

He added, “I’m scared of frogs, snakes, spiders and thought Eddie was the brave one, but he confessed to me that he’s really, really scared of ALL the things.

“I’m going to be as surprised as everybody else about how he’s going to react to things.”

Meanwhile, tensions have boiled over in camp as a feud between Kelly Brook and Jack Osbourne is brewing.

Inside Martin Kemp’s heartbreaking health woes

He explained his dyslexia was a result of an operation. Martin explained doctors discovered he had two brain tumours in 1995.

“I was making a show in Canada and I was playing this professor,” he mused. “I went into makeup one day and I had to put on this bald cap and as they pulled it off the whole of the makeup department went quiet because you could see this lump.”

Martin said he had the tumours for 12 years and they were both still growing but due to a lack of space began to embed itself in the bone of his skull.

He shared: “Within two days I was having my head cut open. When they scanned it they found another [tumour] hidden in the middle. The one in the middle was the dangerous one.

Martin continued: “They cut me… they zapped me with stereotactic radiation … For a while I lost everything, I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t see in one eye, I was a train wreck afterwards.”

One of the side effects as a result of having surgery was his dyslexia diagnosis – where he struggled to read. He admitted it was “terrifying” adding, “I thought I was dying.”

Jack, who has also been sober since he was 17, admitted that addiction is a trauma response, to which Lisa agreed and attributed her addiction to her mum’s devastating d3ath.

    Fans gush over Kelly Brook

Three of I’m A Celebrity’s female campmates stripped off for a dip in the creek – before the moment was thrown into chaos by leeches.

Shona McGarty, Kelly Brook and Alex Scott screamed as they spotted the bloodsucking parasites in the corner of the pool.

Kelly convinced Alex and Shona to get in the water but disaster struck.

They quickly jumped out of the water to spare themselves from being bitten – with Shona slipping on her backside in a panic.

After Kelly stripped down to her swimsuit for a quick dip and fans all said the same thing about the model, 45.

One X user gsuhed: “Kelly Brook take a bow girl.” Another echoed: “Kelly Brook in that swimsuit.” A thid added: “Not to be dramatic but I genuinely think Kelly Brook has the most perfect figure you could wish for #imaceleb.”

One show star was forced to ‘end talks’

Jack Osbourne previously revealed he was a late addition to the main line-up. The reality star was reportedly a last-minute sign up.

It has since been said it was boxer Conor Benn who was in the frame to be on the ITV reality show but was replaced as he had to pull out of show talks.

A sourced told The Sun: “Conor was really keen to make it work, but in the end, it just wasn’t logistically viable for him to do the big match on Saturday night, and then leave for Australia the next day.

“In theory, he could have done it, if he had gone in as one of the late arrivals, but given how boxing matches are unpredictable, if he had been injured he wouldn’t have been able to fly.”

They added: “Neither ITV nor Conor could take that risk in the end, but the door is certainly open for the future.”

She told The Mirror: “I am too comfortable in life. I sleep with four pillows in my bed just for me.

“I think you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone, particularly when I turned 40. I was getting kind of stuck in my ways a little bit.”

Kelly Brook sparks ‘potato-gate’ row with Jack Osbourne

Kelly Brook appears embroiled in a feud with Jack Osbourne. On Monday night, the model was told off for how she was cutting the potatoes by camp chef Jack.

In the so-called “potato-gate row” the Loose Women panellist admitted she was feeling a bit lost and added she just wanted to be helpful.

It resulted in Jack taking a step back from cooking and chores. He then delegated Alex Scott and Shona McGarty to do the cooking.

Speaking privately to Alex and Shona about their appointed roles from Jack, Kelly took a swipe, saying: “So he’s not in charge but then he’s in charge of everything, choosing who’s gonna be in charge…”

Alex laughed saying: “I don’t think anyone asked him to delegate but he did.”

Shona added: “I don’t think Jack wanted to let go.”

La Voix issues statement follow Strictly exit

In a statement shared on her Instagram, La Voix spoke of her heartbreak about having to quit the show.

“I’m absolutely devastated to be withdrawing Strictly Come Dancing. This isn’t the glittering exit I ever imagined, and it breaks my heart to feel like I’m letting people down. My spirit wanted to to keep dancing but my foot has other ideas! Thank you for every cheer, every vote, and every sparke of support – it’s meant the world to me. This isn’t the ending I imagined, but I’ll cherish this forever.”

In the caption of the post, La Voix added: “Darlings, it breaks my heart to say this, but after all week of hoping, healing, and doing everything I possibly could, my injury simply hasn’t improved the way we prayed it would. With the guidance of the medical team and a heavy, heavy heart I have to officially withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing.

“This show has been one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. To step onto that iconic dancefloor, to be welcomed so warmly by the judges, the pros, the crew, Tess & Claudia and of course the fabulous audience — it has meant the world to me. My only sadness is that I won’t be able to continue the journey the way I so wished I could.”

‘I feel like I’ve let Aljaz down’

“What upsets me most is feeling like I’ve let my wonderful partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, down. He has supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me from day one, and I so desperately wanted to keep dancing for him as much as for myself.

“I’m devastated not to be able to continue the adventure with him, but I’m endlessly grateful for everything he’s given me throughout this experience.

“To my fellow contestants — keep sparkling. To everyone who has supported me, voted for me, and sent such kind messages: thank you. Your love has lifted me more than you know.

“This isn’t the ending I imagined, but I’ll cherish every moment I had on that dancefloor.

    All my love, La Voix.”

“Viewers Cry ‘Rage-Baiting!’ — Jack Osbourne at the Centre of Explosive Kelly Brook Feud No One Saw Coming”

I’m A Celebrity fans have accused Jack Osbourne of ‘rage-baiting’ the camp during Friday night’s episode I’m A Celebrity fans have accused Jack Osbourne of ‘rage-baiting’ the camp during Friday night’s episode

I’m A Celebrity fans have accused Jack Osbourne of ‘rage-baiting’ the camp during Friday night’s episode

I’m A Celebrity viewers remain deeply divided after Friday night’s episode, with many accusing Jack Osbourne of deliberately “rage-baiting” the camp as tensions with Kelly Brook escalate into one of the season’s most volatile storylines. What began as awkward friction has now snowballed into a full-blown jungle feud — complete with family drama, social-media uproar and several uncomfortable moments playing out on screen.

Recent episodes have shown Jack and Kelly drifting further apart, a rift heightened when Jack’s sister, Kelly Osbourne, publicly branded the model a “bully” after Kelly criticised Jack in the Bush Telegraph. The disagreement stems from a now-viral moment in which Jack stepped in to help Kelly slice an eel — prompting the former Page Three star to gag and struggle through the prep.

In recent days, his relationship with campmate Kelly Brook has become increasingly tense amid their feud – which saw his sister Kelly Osbourne accuse the model of being a ‘bully’

Kelly later opened up in camp about her old reputation as a “s3x kitten,” saying she felt judged and misunderstood, a confession that only added fuel to the tension viewers were already sensing.

Fans spotted another tense moment and claimed Jack was provoking outrage during and after the trial in order ‘to get airtime’

Online, Kelly’s family fiercely defended her, dismissing the bullying accusations as “absolute rubbish.” But fans didn’t have long to recover before spotting another flashpoint: Jack’s intense behaviour during and after the Dreaded Dunnies Trial, where he joined Shona McGarty, Alex Scott and Martin Kemp to earn 12 stars.

Scores of viewers took to X claiming Jack was “trying to run the camp” and provoking reactions in order to secure airtime. One person wrote: “Jack Osbourne is such a control freak. He has to be in charge of everything.” Another added: “Jack is rage-baiting the camp #ImACeleb.”

Meanwhile, some fans have been enjoying seeing Jack come out of his shell and show off his humorous demeanour during his trial with Alex, Shona and Martin

Not everyone agreed, though. Many found Jack’s humour and dramatic acting during the group’s fake meltdown genuinely entertaining. When Martin fake-cried and Jack pretended to storm off, fans praised them for creating one of the funniest moments of the season. “Seeing Jack come out of his shell is actually so heartwarming,” one viewer posted.

When the group returned to camp and pulled off an ‘epic’ acting stunt, Martin put on the fake tears and Jack pretended to be furious

Still, the tension between Jack and Kelly keeps resurfacing. Kelly claimed Jack elbowed her aside at the fish station — describing his enthusiasm as “like Christmas morning” — while Jack previously criticised her potato-chopping technique. Their friction grew even sharper when Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson entered camp as latecomers and were instantly given power in the “Leader’s Lodge.”

After revealing the truth that they would be eating for 12, fans heaped praise on Jack for showing off his playful side

Jack had unofficially taken on the role of camp chef, but has now been given a rather different role by the new camp leaders

The new leaders assigned Kelly to kitchen duty — comparing her to Nigella Lawson — while placing Jack on dunny duty with Shona, a switch that visibly annoyed him. Feeling replaced and sidelined, Jack told the group he felt a “resistance” to Vogue and Tom, saying: “You can’t just walk in halfway through the movie and start changing everything.”

Kelly, meanwhile, admitted she sometimes feels “lost” in camp and just wants to contribute. Jack responded that with four children at home, he is naturally always “doing, doing, doing.”

Their repeated clashes have prompted speculation that the tension could eventually push Jack to walk — especially after his emotional start to the series — but for now, he remains determined to stay.

With alliances shifting, leadership power changing hands, and the Kelly–Jack feud refusing to cool, the jungle is becoming more unpredictable by the hour.
